In my 20 years of wrestling fandom this was the only time I took a break from watching it for multiple years Because of what was going on in real time around that time period I just didn't need another reminder of what it was like to be Black in America
Boo hoo, nigger.
OP doesn't actually feel this way he's just pretending to be some twitter npc he disagrees with
>>20817319This match gave me hope Vince was doing a 180 and turning the company around. Alas he did not.
>>20817319Fun fact: Every black man to ever hold the WWE Championship has lost it to Lesnar on at least one occasion Rock at SummerSlam '02Kofi in 10 seconds lolBig E at Day 1Lashley at Elimination Chamber '22
>>20817394Funny how the Irish Vince McMahon believes the weakness of a black guy is a big Polish guy.
>>20817396I wonder if he insists on the Polish Joe name because he's concerned Vince might have a vibrator he calls Brock Lesnar or if it's something he's been doing forever.
>>20817319I wasn't watching either, I agree with you OPThey weren't any subtle about hating on blacks
>>20817394Cody never lost the title to Lesnar though
>>20817396>Irish Vince McMahon>Vince McMahon>Irish

>>20817319Kofimania was an amazing chase, match, win, and moment. I’ll never forget it. “11 YEARS” to Mania 35 was great. What a beautiful accident. The problem with Kofi as WWE Champion was Kofi continuing to be treated as a midcard act and never main eventing despite being a World Champion. Hell, his title win is in a midcard spot at a WrestleMania Main Evented by 3 White womeme. He then continued the skipping, gyrating, pancake tossing minstrel act despite his chase to the title being about how completely serious he and New Day were going to be going forward. We were promised a direction change and nothing happened. And then in a story where his quest to the title and entire run is supposed to be a showcase of he and his team’s sheer endurance and resilience, he loses the title in 7 seconds to Brock and THEN he never gets or cares about a rematch for his former title at any point making it all useless. And then when you think that moment was actually going to happen, he was just another head in the rumble where they had Brock kill all the Blacks in the first half or so…Didn’t even allow halfie Ricochet any real credit for his elimination, they just gave all glory to Drew.It was never Kofi or Kofimania itself, it was always the piss poor handling of that title reign and everything after.Considering how the Bloodline was simply a group of Samoans pretending to be black, Kofi should’ve eventually gone heel some point in his reign and been the dominant giga-run that Reigns got to enjoy. Complete with sneaky Jew and all.I will always think 7 seconds was absolute bullshit.
Started watching in 97 cause I'm a Rodman mark.Stopped watching 2000 when WCW became unwatchable, ECW lost their TNN show, and I didn't know what to tape trade for outside of FMW.2005 Started watching the indies, NOAH, Dragon Gate, and Big Japan.2009 all new wrestling is considerably, start watching 80s territory wrestling, and 80s and 90s Japanese wrestling. Around 2010-2011 a friend also starts inviting people over to watch RAW, this is the first time I ever watch any WWE regularly. Roman.2014 they clearly start pushing Roman and we all lose interest.2021, me and a different friend start watching Dynamite together, most of the time we're making fun of it more than we're enjoying it, we lose interest by 2023.So rough math, let's say I've started watching wrestling 30 years ago, and I've spent less than half that time actually watching a current product.I think the last thing I went out of my way to watch is pre-death match FMW. It's pretty bad, but it's bad in a more interesting way than modern wrestling is.
>>20818497*considerably worse*watchedNot indian, I just need my coffee lol
>>20817394That's wild to think only 4 WWE champions have ever washed their legs.
