>Its never my or Hulk Hogan’s fault bro, WCW & TNA were dead on arrivalI have never seen someone so incapable of accountability
When did TNA not suck?
>>20821712It was much better before hogan & bischoff got there
>>20821712Legitimately every year it existed before Hogan and Bischoff showed up
>>208217122004-2009
When Russo of all people tells you that you fucked up and somehow he's right, that's how you know you really, really fucked up.
>>20821700you hear enough of sleazy e's interviews and it is always the same modus operandi: "never my fault"
>>20821700Him talking about the six sided ring being stupid without understanding the appeal is one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever seen. Literally the wrestling version of like a Disney exec not getting why people thought the Star Wars sequels sucked ass
>>208217122000s TNA was total kino
>>20821700he saved WCW and Ted went another way begged Eric to come back.
>>2082171205, but almost every promotion had an incredible 05.
I dont care what corny or his cornbase fans say but Russo was right to push Booker & Jarrett at the end of WCW. Hogan just couldnt let the spotlight go which is why he seethed over Austin and Lesnar when he finally went back to WWE and Bischoff is just a kiss ass
>>20821757Russo going to bat for Booker to be pushed as a star in WCW was pretty admirable & had anyone not named Vince Russo stood up for Booker to Hulk Hogan of all people he probably would’ve had smarks chanting his name for years
>>20821743As someone who watched TNA from 2006-2012ish, I get both sides of the argument. It both was what made it stand out AND made the show look bush league. Maybe if it was 6 sided and the ring was bigger? I don't know it always looked like a mini ring with the 6 sides. Plus a lot of the wrestlers hated it, too.
>>20821757>BookerYes>JarrettNo>Scott SteinerSometimes the only reason to watch WCW during it's death years
>>20821775They hated taking bumps on it but most of the bigger names like AJ & Joe were against going to a normal ring. I don’t know why they didn’t make it bigger or try to modify it so it hurt less doing matches on
>I’ve changed my ways, I am now just an alcoholic who gets DUI’sWhat did Nero mean by this?
>>20821700Kurt Angle's arrival
>>20821810Delete this (heh)
>>20821700Hogan killed>WCW>TNA>HIMSELF am I missing anything? KWAB
>>208218653 ninjas franchiseHis beer companyGawker media
>>20821810he really comes across as 100% disingenuous when he's talking about himself as if he's somehow past all the shit he used to do and wants to be seen as much as a victim as a fuckup. i get the addiction disease stuff but few people have gotten as many chances as him.
>>20821945Kurt Cobain used to do the same shit. After he and Courtney got custody of their kid back they both supposedly got clean and he spent all of 1993 doing interviews talking about his heroin addiction in the past tense and making excuses for why he used but swore he didn't anymore while literally nodding out in the same interviews.
>>20821892>>20821865No holds barred
>>20821700When you think about it, if he wasn't on Hogan's cock so much, he probably would've really beat WWE.As much as Tony was a mark, Bischoff was the same and it clouded his judgement. Even joining the NWO. And I liked Eric as a heel, but come on. Dude just wanted to be one of the boys. >>20821757The fucking issue is that Booker was GI BRO like two weeks before the shit. Like everything Russo, it legit came out of nowhere, because while Booker was a guy that was popular, he wasn't really put on that spot on the card until the abrupt title. Then, he just turned him to a Rock clone. Honestly, Booker didn't really get to be his own guy until after Russo left. He's kind of like Steiner where their best work was towards the very end of WCW.
>>20821700Everything that was wrong in wcw was this fucking retards fault.Screwed over the new Japan wrestlers.Screwed over the Japanese women wrestlers and got them completely removed from wcw.Fucked over LoD when they came to wcw and pretended he never offered them a contract.Instead gave contracts to the nasty boys and public enemy.Fucked over Ted Dibiase because he got jealous and wanted to be the nWos leader.Huge argument backstage with Ted Dibiase over this because him leading the nWo and being its creator was the entire point for him coming wcw.Screw Ted again and have him randomly be the Steiners manager....but then break them up.Don't bother trying to fix the hoganXwarrior story because he wanted Hogan to move onto something else. You could write a book on Eric and his time in wcw because all the bad decisions lead back to him
>>20821945It's a top 1% hot person thing. Jeff may as well be a woman.
>>20821700>I have never seen someone so incapable of accountability
>>20821712The two months before they brought in Hogan and Bischoff were actually pretty good and it seemed like they were finding some direction. Reasonable decisions, good matches, pushing the right guys, possibly even some good angles. That's the point when they were finally toning down MEM, having Styles/Daniels/Joe in the main event, Angle was feuding with Nigel McGuinness, tag division was very good, Lashley was getting pushed and Dr. Stevie and Raven were fighting Foley and Abyss. Very kino actually. But they generally had good spells that lasted for about two months before everything was retarded shit again so I already knew not to get excited too much.
>>20821892Presidential campaign of Kwabmala Harris
I love that there were people in the documentary calling Dixie smart, when she was practically vivisected by these two carnies.
>>20822727kek and this was the exact three months when Russo had total control, as well.
>>20822184>Screwed over the new Japan wrestlers.>Screwed over the Japanese women wrestlers and got them completely removed from wcw.nobody in america knew who any of those bugs were. even muta who had wrestled here was greeted with apathy during his nwo run>Fucked over Ted Dibiase ted never mentioned having any problems with eric while in wcw. he said after finding god he didnt want to be a heel anymore
>>20822823Russo had been there for half a decade but that's curiously exactly when Ferrara was also in the company.
