what's the worst era in WWE history?
The "farming for social media moments" era, which didn't start recently. Cole going on about "trending on social media" and "#OMGMoments" is just as bad. They're just more cynical about it now.

TKO. (2024- On going) At the very least... as bad as some of the eras before were, it was one man's vision. Whether you agreed or not, you knew it was going through Vince. Now... it's a cluttered mess, riddled by bad booking, ads plastered on everything they can (after multiple decades of rings being blank), celebrities being overused and central to stories, aging roster and directionless. They're already seeing the fallout from this this year with attendance dropping. It's a wonder what's going to happen when the Saudi deal is up.

Started with the constant Shield shit and them running in on practically every match then just snowballed from there with no end in sight.

I still doubt it's the worst ever but it's interesting that there are things like dialing way back on house shows and putting the stupid ads in the ring that I would have never complained about when those decision were made, but they have obviously contributed to the current malaise. Owned
The Authority is what made me give up on WWE for good.

I still think the top girl and the top two or three guys, who no one has heard of and probably all have to work normal jobs, can go on WWE/AEW TV in decent roles, fit in and do fine. The floor of talent is actually very good, but no one has aura anymore
