But that doesn't change the fact that Miu was in the main event of the biggest TJPW show ever.Also, judging from this article, it almost seems like Miu hasn't done anything relevant after Grand Princess, but that's far from being true. First of all, she had a great 3-Way Match against Miyu Yamashita and Mizuki in Las Vegas, arguably the best TJPW match of the year wrestled outside of Japan. Then she won the Princess Tag Team Titles at Yes! Wonderland and, last but not least, she had 2 very good title defences against Mizuki/Uta and Kyoraku Kyomei. So yeah, saying Miu has had a "frustrating" year doesn't make any sense, and you can't define her entire year with 1 (one) single loss. She's still the ace of the current era, she doesn't need to be the POP Champion and to be honest, she doesn't need to win the Princess Cup either. All she needs to do is to keep having great matches and to help the next generation. In that regard, the match that you mentioned against Ren Konatsu was objectively the best match of Ren's career, so that's another accomplishment for Miu.
