Yet it happened in AEW
NJPW involves less sawdusting than people realize. Yeah, big matches go hard. But most of the matches guys work there are multi-man tags where they get their reps without doing much that's high risk.
Jay switched from that to working heavy matches almost every week. Yeah, of course he ended up hurting himself while guys back in NJPW remain healthy.

Almost everyone leans more into gimmick/comedy stuff when going to AEW. The "match quality" thing is a Twitter marketing gimmick, AEW is a catchphrase-oriented meme fed like WWE.

Holy larp. Tanahashi, naito, ibushi, and sanada are wrecked. Nakamura ran from the grind when he saw what was happening. Okada left at the same age as Nakamura. Shibata ironically is in good shape because he got banned after nearly dying. The only healthy guys are the ones who escaped. Okada never being injured is actually incredible. He's made of titanium or something.

Because they never had 'aura' to begin with. When Hogan went to WCW, he didn't lose any so called 'aura'. If different lighting and cameras make someone lose their 'awrah', then they were always dimeless. You need to stop overhyping these guys.
