When a promotion gets more viewers for their show, they get paid more. They then can run more shows, which should earn them more money.When promotions have more money, they can afford better talent, improve production/creative and improve advertising. All of this helps the promotion grow more.There's not that much of a correlation between the product and how much money is earned. Just see AEW. It's supposedly the greatest promotion ever created by smark Cagematch ratings and Meltzer star ratings, yet it is nowhere near WWE's level.

You're not "owning" anyone here except yourselves, same as they did. Meltzer stars don't matter. Cagematch ratings don't matter. Attendance numbers don't matter. What matters is whether you're satisfied with what you're watching and both companies are sorely disappointing most of the time in this regard.
