At the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018, WWE superstar Titus O'Neil sprinted down the long entrance ramp as the 39th entrant. As he neared the ring, he tripped on the padding and accidentally slid completely under the ring apron, vanishing from sight.

At WrestleMania 15, Billy Gunn executed an incredibly athletic slide into the ring during a match against Triple H. Moving with so much momentum, Gunn dove under the bottom rope, got completely horizontal, and glided smoothly across the canvas for nearly 8 feet, almost flying right out the opposite side of the ring. Triple H actually had to position his leg to hook Gunn's shoulder to stop him from sliding completely out.
