Tfw you realize there’s a decent chance he was autistic enough to order Vengeance 2007 and see how his cancelled match played out. He might have killed himself during it or right after match ended. #interestingthoughts
>>20986378>Santino Marella (c) defeated Umaga by disqualificationthis is when he did it
I think he just didn't wanna job to Punk for the ECW title and took the easy way out.
>>20986659Yeah, he was so angry at the result, he murdered his wife and kid. I mean this guy’s a real jerk
>>20986685Allegedly murdered his wife and kid.

>>20986709Imagine 20 years after his alledged murder-suicide him, Nancy and his son come out at Wrestlemania revealing the biggest work to this day, bigger than Montreal even.
>>20986378Benoit and his family were killed by Jim Carrey in 2007, soon after WrestleMania 23. >23Carrey got curious about WM since Jerry Lawler (his co-star from the 1999 movie about Andy Kaufman) was inducted into the WWE HoF in 2007, and Jim developed some murderous obsession with Benoit.>23Carrey is obsessed with the number 23 since youth (has a movie about it), and he has likely killed several other people in very schizo ways around "23":>the actor who portrayed the bad guy in Dumb and Dumber>Chris Cornell>Carrey's own gfLet's see:>sociopath>obsessed with 23>obsessed with "erasure">weird, lonely "crazy artist">kills an actor he knows from youth (the one from whom got the "23" obsession) because took his spot in SNL >kills soundgarden leader (with whom shared some tv show in the late 90s) due to some schizo obsession>kills a wrestler due to yet another schizo obsessionYup, solid hypothesis
>>20986723>Bigger than MontrealEhh, it’d be pretty big, but let’s not get carried away now

>>20986829Faking your death for 20 years is bigger than spitting in Vince's face and malding on TV.
>>20986378There's no chance unless he pirated it. That's the kind of bullshit that would be attached to some media report if he did.

>>20986945I'm just saying that Vince strikes me as somebody who enjoys getting spat on so in my book it's not that huge of an achievement in comparison. But hell, do we know for sure? Not really.

>>20986809How did Jim and Chris Jericho pressure David Benoit out of the wrestling and MMA industries?

>>20986659Nah it was actually that he didn't wanna call him Chez from now on
>>20986378There has to be a way to find out if he did order it. I know he was making plans to try and get to the show even after he murdered his family before reality must have set in his rotting brain

>>20988989>know he was making plans to try and get to the show even after he murdered his family before reality must have set in his rotting brainSeriously? Wtf
>>20986378I think he was busy mate
>>20990276This is all speculation based on the fact he rebooked a flight on Saturday afternoon for Saturday night as he was going to miss his original flight. It doesn't mean he was ever trying or considering to go, but what it would do is buy time compared to if he doesn't show for a flight due to arrive at the earlier time with no explanation. Rebooking for one 4 hours later buys 4-5 hours minimum before people query things, in practice longer because he already said in a VM that he's not sure he'll make it but if it does it's late. So if he doesn't show "oh I guess his rebooked flight was delayed or he got stuck at the airport or whatever, he'll show up in the morning Im sure."

>>20986378When I was 14 my friends told me to look up chris benoit on s school computer and I typed chris benwa

Wrestling culture killed this man. He was brought up in an industry that preyed on weakness and didn't allow him to ask for help.Alongside this, he was continually working hurt and expected to bump his body in to oblivion, because he's a pro. WWEs schedule at the time had him working 110 house shows a year, on top or his televised dates. If he asked for help or time off to recover, he knew he'd be easy prey. WWE and it's culture has blood on it's hands, yet they've distanced themselves from their hand in this.In any other industry, Benoit would be a martyr for the positive change he enacted. Wrestlers are now encouraged to look after their mental health, concussion screening is now mandatory, self medicating with pain drugs is now discouraged, chair shots to the head are now banned, and overall Wrestling is now much safer than it was. Due to the actions of this man, the current generation of wrestlers are more likely to live beyond the 50 year old benchmark set by wrestlers born in the 50/60s, and likely with a much higher quality of life. This man deserves to be remembered in the correct context, not the "lone wolf" bullshit WWE have created around him. Truth is, if they cared about their guys, they'd have known Benoit was a risk to himself and his family. It's inexcusable.
Imagine if he did the match.Like killed the family, did the match, then went home. THEN killed himself.
>>20986378>Autistic enoughNah his brain was oatmeal and it made him a paranoid volatile retard.>Ahhhhhh I'm being held down they're gonna fire me any day nowVince gives him rumble and main event win at WM20>Ahhhhhh I can't handle the pressure they're gonna fire me any day nowVince drops him back to the upper midcard>Ahhhhhh I'm just treading water they're gonna fire me any day nowVince books him to work with green talent>Ahhhhhh I'm sliding down the card they're gonna fire me any day nowVince moves him to ECW to give him the headline status he wants without the pressure of carrying the bigger brands and giving him a vital role developing new talent for years to come and showing how much Vince values and trusts him in that essential spot>Ahhhhhh time to kill myself and my family before they get a chance to fire me which they're gonna do any day now can't fire me if I'm dead ahhhhhh
>>20986659He was supposed to win that night and become the face of a Heymanless ECW. He would rather kill himself and his family than have to be demoted to WWECW.
>>20990332Imagine if he killed punk in the ring
