What are your thoughts on Ken Shamrock?

>>21016350Pretty much the only guy who ever made an MMA gimmick work
>>21016350slut
>>21016384Watch Japanese wrestling.
>>21016350Zesty.
He had a bad voice for promos sort of like Brock, but there’s an in ring promo from him and DX where he calls Chyna a tranny and says HBK has sexy chest hair, in ring he was serviceable and was over with the crowd, good as an IC champ but would be a pretty weak world champion, was fine in a upper midcard role
>>21016408It was a lanyard
>>21016350Should've gone by Shen Kamrock.
>>21016350Shame his WWE run was so short. He was a cool wrestler and was clearly the best of that small crop of MMA guys that made the jump. Steve Blackman was kind of cool as well but Shamrock seemed like he had the best tools to perhaps eventually go on to be a main eventer.
>>21016350This theme was so badass. One of my favorites from that era.
>>21016408Why would he wear this bros?
Boring, out of place and was never presented like he should have been.
>>21016408it was a tear in the poster.
Probably should have had a world title run in 97, pretty boring after mid-98 though.
>>21016438That's what he wants you to think.
>>21016350his feud with rock is underrated also its funny that he is the first tna champion
A feud between him and Brock in the early 2000s would have been great.
Me and my friends when we were kids would scream "I'M IN THE ZONE" and then fake coughing up like we had internal bleeding.
For the longest time I didn't even know he was attending the very first UFC event.
>>21016550>Probably should have had a world title run in 97"Probably"?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gK5SQoEMhgwThis match was just 2 weeks before the screwjobThat whole mess could have been avoided if Vince just let Shamrock win the belt off Bret right here
>>21016408kinky little minx
He was around when mma was still good
>>21016350What about Frank Shamrock?
>>21016350Attitude era - top of his game.Annoying vince refused to let bret drop the championship title to him and gave it to Michael's instead.
>>21016730wow Bret even tapped out to Shamrockyeah they should've just let Shamrock get the title then drop it to HBGay afterwards, that would've fixed everything
How many of these fucking "thoughts on.." posts is this retard finna post? Like your little cock amongst those fucking folds of fat this thread is Hidden.
>>21016398no
Hulking up after eating dog food in his match with Bulldog was the funniest shit ever.
He gave early Rock his best feud. The two worked well together and were a great pairing.
>>21016350great lookfilled out trunks welltook himself too seriouslydidn't know how to work
>>21016350One of my faves from the Attitude Era, it was always based when he snapped. Shame his King of the Ring win never led to him reaching the top. It seemed like they didn't know what to do with him by the time they had him turn heel and join the Corporate Team.
>>21017160Imagine getting this worked over simple wrestling discussion KWAB
>>21016350His worked shoot match with Vader was incredible for it's time. Would have drawn against Goldberg if WCW survived 2001.
>33 replies>3 imagesmasonic thread
>>21016350He should have been WWF Champion and I have no idea why he never was.
>>21017537easily a top 5 chair shot of all time. Straight to the face. Shamrock was a beast for agreeing to this
>>21016730wtf is that audio at 6:58also since it was mentioned on commentary I actually remember when the Indians lost that world series to the marlins, probably one of my earliest memories of sports on tv
>>21016350He was based, his song was based, his finisher was based and when he snapped it was based .Overall fucking based
>>21016350>*bleeds internally*
>>21020482>I've dined on camera 5
>>21018660He was a massive druggie and unreliable. He talks about it in his book.
>>21016350I thought he was cool as hell in his UFC/Pancrase and then WWF days but he actually seems like a dick irl.
>>21016350I beat him at the poker table in Sparks, Nevada.
>>21016550Wrong
>>21023916>He was a massive druggieFirst of all, so was HBGay around that time and that didn't stop him from getting the beltSecond, I highly doubt most posters here believe Shamrock deserved an extended run with the belt, just a transitional one. And ESPECIALLY one that could have smoothed over that whole Montreal Screwjob situation as it was brewing
>>21016350would be undisputed champ if he was born in the 90s. But mid card fodder back when wrestling had star power
