His "racist rant" was the truth though. American fans wanted to see American talent. They don't care about Japanese or Mexican wrestlers. In a wrestling company like WCW, that was demonstratably false as fans tuned out as the cruiserweight division became more WWF-lite. In WWF, that was true because the luchadors and resukas didn't speak English and you live or die by your promo unless you jump off of 20 foot ladders.
