How many come goals should a good match have? Is there a limit to the number of come goals you'd like to see on a wrestling show? Who is the GOAT of come goals?

>leagues
oh brother

I dunno. But I watched mid Atlantic tv from the early 80s and with 44 minutes of tv a week they managed to get over every featured wrestler. So maybe there’s something to shorter segments with purpose, and that you can’t get everyone over, some times there’s people who just need to bump and lose for the guys you are trying to make into stars.

When I hire an escort I am for a come goal after at least 30 mins but usually I get 1 come goal after 30 secs

or maybe you're just old as fuck and your opinion on what's good is prehistoric and irrelevant

>>21035198
Uh oh tony forgot another check. He's slipping. He was actually doing pretty good keeping his bots and shills well paid earlier in the year
>>
wrestling is 99% the matches.
promos and angles are not wrestling

I’m actually 20 years younger than the average aew fan and 40 years younger than the average wwe fan.

The problem is that it's cost-ineffective to have a roster full of low card shitters, which is AEW's entire issue and the reason they're unprofitable with a massive TV deal.
It's 2026. House shows are mostly dead. Every single talent on your roster should either be a star or someone who can get over, or else you're wasting money and time. You maximize the time of these people and fill the downtime with other shit that isn't wrestling OR angles. As much as people bitch about them, advertising slots are more lucrative than anything else on the show.

There are two philsophies I guess. 2.The weekly shows should be promo and angle heavy with a few showcase matches with the midcard titles involved or implied and a few matches used to advance stories. That way the big matches feel more important at the big shows which makes more sense from a business and entertainment standpoint. 2. The inverse with with emphasis on being wrestling heavy with few promos and angles. Their fanbase just wants constant action and will sacrifice deeper storytelling and payoff to see constant 30 min high paced matches
Neither one is right or wrong from a subjective standpoint. One perspective objectively makes more money and has more fans though.

>deeper storytelling
the company that has more fans and makes more money does NOT have deeper storytelling. this is the one great lie the pigs like to tell themselves. the storylines in nearly all wrestling, since time immemorial, is shallow as a puddle.

Was Coach even instrumental in production or story writing in the Fed?
>>
The story they're obviously pushing towards is an injured McGuiness going up against an aggressive and dominant Moxley. They even won in the same way.

McGuiness struggled to win with a chokehold and got by with the skin of his teeth, Mox was in control most of the match and choked out Jay White easily after hitting his finisher.

Literally down to sponsorships and Saudi money though. Wrestlemania just posted a 50% decrease on its gate in a single year. And WWE doesn't have stories, it has a number of angles that the Drones try to fit around their own perception of a story. If the philosophy was all it took then TNA and WCW would be the major players right now as they were all angle no substance.

Why is Coach larping as a wrestling expert?

Mexicans prefer American style wrestling and see lucha as a different, inherently lesser thing
Japanese wrestling completely failed to adapt to the 21st century, is completely unmarketable outside of Japan unlike other Japanese cultural products, and hasn't been remotely mainstream in Japan in almost 30 years
European wrestling sucks and is dead for a reason

>Trained by Chris Benoit and Shane McMahon
oh so coach has CTE
okay

What the fuck is a cum goal?
>>
>>21035555
tell that to the oldest and currently most popular promotion.
>>
>>21035329
Fake fighting has no stakes without a program, and is therefore just masturbation. Promos, segments, and angles give context for the matches. You can, on occasion, throw out heatless bangers but the guys either have to already be over, or supremely good in the ring (talking Benoit and Angle, or Bret and Mr. Perfect).
