Deonna Purrazzo is perhaps the ultimate proof of the incredible curve on which women are graded in American wrestling. She can't run the ropes, can't lock up, can't sell, can't punch, can't work a hold, can't put together a match, has no concept whatsoever of what technical wrestling is besides "work a limb." All she has are a couple of spots which she has committed to memory which she is capable of executing badly in varied series. The La Catalina match is bad, but is only marginally worse than all of her other matches. Even today, half the time she's in the ring she just stares at her opponent like a lost child, and the other half she spends regretting her last six years of carbohydrates. She works two days a month and can't get a clue. Twenty year old bra and panty matches by women with two months of training are more convincing athletic displays, and not to mention less degrading to the female sex.
