I’d be surprised if a single aew promo ever went over 10 minutes, whereas as far as back as the attitude era pretty much every wwe shows starts with a 20 minute promo/confrontation. WWE also does constant replays from other shows, the previous episode, things that may have happened over the commercial break or even just stuff that happened on the episode itself. Personally I think both companies go to far in both directions. If it take you over 5 minutes to say something you aren’t saying it well. And most 15 minute matches, especially in the aew house style, would be much better 8 or even 6 minute matches.
