Was Hogan right that Kevin Nash and Scott Hall killed WCW?
>>21104646>So how much guaranteed money did you get on your contract, Hulk?>Brother uhhh I basically worked for free dude
>>21104646Anon, we've been discussing this for over 25 years. And the fact that we still discuss this and ask about this today proves that wrestling is dead as some sort of social phenomenon. But answering your question: Nash is a gaped bitch, Hall was a gaped by alcohol bitch, and Hogan I don't care because his promos were trash too. WCW killed WCW the moment they put the belt on Nash, well, (((they)))
>>21104646Fingerpoke of Doom objectively killed WCW forever
>>21104688Wasn't the first time Kev got the finger poke of doom if ya catch my drift
>>21104646It did thoughbeit. No one has drive, they're all just playing there part>>21104659Based Hulkster
>>21104646WCW always had guaranteed money. Hall and Nash had guaranteed contracts when they were Diamond Studd and Vinny Vegas.

>>21104688It wasnt the fingerpoke if we go by ratingsCurrently shitting so I cant really elaborate but ratings started going down with Nashes booking His dimeless angle against Macho Man was one of the big rating dips and him booking his busted kwabs to beat Goldberg didnt help eitherWhile goldberg is a kike shitter who just looks like store brand stone cold his streak ending did fuck up the ratingsTldr Its Nashes fault
WCW didn't die out. It was still getting good ratings in its final days. Especially compared to both companies now. It was still a better place for wrestling, more stories in the midcard, and less fake, gay, and retarded stuff that WWE likes to champion. The executives in charge after the merger were friends with Vince McMahon and he got them to the kill the company and it benefited them because they can cook the books and put all their loses on WCW and hide the real crap that was going on. The answer is the MERGER. End of story. Not the talent, not lazy ass Eric Bischoff who would hide whenever a real decision would need to be made, and not some stupid storyline that viewers forgot in like 3 weeks, until every retard started "analyzing" the downfall on youtube every other month. Again, the MERGER is the answer. THAT'S IT.
>>21105503>It wasnt the fingerpoke if we go by ratingsRatings don't immediately crater because fans disagree with a decision. Fans gradually lose faith in the product and just tune out eventually.

The answer is the MERGERThis is cope. WCW got good ratings but not in relation to the amount of money Turner was dishing out to keep it alive. The only reason why it was kept alive for so long was because of Ted himself who did it for sentimental reasons, not financial ones. When he got ousted, the ruthless business pragmatists didn't give a fuck about wrestling and so they sold it. In hindsight, it was a stupid decision since the library is worth a shitload of money in the age of streaming, but they couldn't predict the future back then. At the time WCW was a monkey sink through and through.
>>21104646'Fraid so.
>>21105767WCW was a unique company where ratings were the only thing that mattered because the network OWNED the company. So the profits from ad revenue was the major selling point. WCW only looks like a money sink, because we can only see the expenses and look at PPV buyrates and ticket sales to find profit. Do you do that with a normal tv show? Does anyone care how many people show up to see a sitcom filmed in front of a live studio audience? Is the Tonight Show going to raise ticket prices to stay on the air or pay the hosts salary? No. The only thing that matters is ad revenue and they had a live weekly show that never took off, and I doubt their payroll was any higher than shows in the top ten, that take off months to write new shows, and then film them before airing a season.
>>21104646>worked by fed documentarieslol, lmao even
>>21105759the product was complete dogshit in 99 and Nash was the head booker and top star during that period.
>>21104688Normie
Member when you're greatest worry in life was getting ice cream cones and watching the hulkster kick the shit out of the undertaker? Damn innocence long gone
>>21104816KEK WHAT A POKED BITCH
Nash beating Goldberg while everyone wanted DDP to do it was retarded. Hogan and Nash fingerpoke of Doom was another retarded thing to do. The ending of Starcade 97 was dumb as hell
>>21106276This
>>21104646This guy and Bischoff killed off WCW first. It’s why Russo and Ferrara from 1999 to 2000 told Hogan to fuck off and never return to WCW
hogan, nash and hall started the rot and russo's retarded booking accelerated it
