This match is a weird one. Ito was a two-and-a-half-year rookie at this point, having just dropped out of NJPW after losing to Goto in the finals of that year's Young Lion Cup. He didn't have a very extensive pro-wrestling career, but he started out in RINGS and wrestled in various shoot-style promotions before landing here, so his strikes all look great, but his ability to hold a match together is so-so. The result is essentially just Ishii brute-forcing his way into something that resembles match structure.

I think Shibata ruined this move for me.
