good worker. pretty screwy mentally due to drugs and mental illness. a headcase. still had a pretty good career all things considered. plenty of memorable matches and one half of one of the all time great tag teams. that's not bad at all.

There was a point in which he was more over than Michaels. It wasn't uncommon for people to like Jannetty more than Michaels. He really screwed over his career prospects with the drugs and law problems he had outside the ring. He was poised to make a comeback and give his revenge on Shawn and become the IC champion before that happened. He was a talented guy that was his own worst enemy.

Marty was literally just as talented as Shawn, he just wasn't willing to suck a dick. When you watched that return he had briefly in the early 2000s and Marty and Shawn are back working together, they looked like they never skipped a beat. You would have never guessed over 20 years went by when these two had their last matches as a tag team. They got back into the ring and were doing things in sync and smooth as butter like they always did.....then Marty fucks it up.The bitch about Marty is that he always did it to himself.
Poor Marty. I really wish he would've stayed clean. Fans genuinely loved him.
