>The win against Sting is all Paul's ego, down the line. It completely stunk of it. Its his way of nailing the coffin onto WCW once and for all well over a decade after the company folded and long after everyone else moved on and no longer cared. He literally lil' bro'd Sting in that match. Based or not depending on your perspective, but those who know the depths of the ego, envy and jealousy of Paul knows the match for being what it was. Shit, he even shocked everyone backstage in prep by informing them he was going over, much to everyone's shock and surprise. It shouldn't have at all at that point. Congrats, you once again, won the war against WCW, Paul. You even did it without having to roll around on a tank to do it.You're gonna get a match out of Paul and he clearly takes 'Mania seriously with the build up and the entrance. Hell, he'll even bust out submission moves that hadn't been seen in 30 years just to make Jim Ross cream on the mic. That's just all it will be though; a match. Not a moment. Not an iconic segment or sequence that is god tier. Its....a match.The residual damage of his influence that you can see take place after he gets the main events and more power don't really translate into an unstoppable winning streak; its the other shit that happens in and around and up to it that stinks just as much like everything Paul's giant schnozz gets in to.

Taker before WM21 ie when no one even talked about the streak. there have to be at least half a dozen truly terrible matches in there. mark henry one at 22 and john cena one sucked too.
