He is and he isn’t.

He’s based in the sense that when compared to most of the wrestling commentators on YouTube, he mogs the fuck out of them when it comes to understanding what makes a good show. He had an uncanny ability to make verbal tics and bits from wrestling recurring bits on his show, and his cast of co hosts and discord callers were almost always hilarious and bounced off of him well. He also had a perspective somewhere between smark and anti smark that’s sorely missing now. He’d bring the heat to performative retards like Adam Blamped and Zane, and he was clearly smarter than most in the space.

Where’s he’s not based is that he can’t get out of his own way. Kevin’s a mess. He was brought up by Boston drunkards, and his show and life are full of these anecdotes he readily shared. And the guy has deep, deep problems that manifest into self-sabotage. He’s got 2 baby mommas, and he’s got a crabs in the bucket mentality for most of his co-hosts who move on. He could easily be clearing millions on all platforms right now, but by his own admission, he acts up just enough to never receive a sizable following.

TLDR He’s a deeply talented and creative person with serious personal issues who makes bad choices repeatedly
