AEW is now going to ban any strikes to the heads the same way WWE banned chairshots to the head. A lot of the match quality is going to suffer because how do you have a yummy bangerino matches without hitting a vital part of the body now. Goodbye to hidden blade, v trigger, superkick, neck drops, everything. We have won the war against CTE

Literally no one that was in attendance has described any head injury except this 911 call. Everyone has said he seemed to be gassed and overheated early on in the match (they had even brawled out by the concession stand and Blade had grabbed some ice during it for him) and then later on just collapsed in the ring.

I think the caller was mistaken on what the cause was when they made the call, which isn't uncommon. Once he collapsed the first thing they did is dump more ice on him, followed by CPR and then defibrillators. We will see when they do the autopsy.
