ITT:Failure Wrestlers. Wrestlers who gave up or saw the writing on the wall. I’ll mention Gabriel Aeros. This is Rhea and Buddy’s Aussie friend. He was part of a tag team called the Parea in the Aussie indies. They came to America and did some other indie work. For some reason, Gabriel decided to stream and said he didn’t want to wrestle. Naturally his tag partner wanted to continue to wrestle and thus they broke up and Gabriel stayed in America where he now currently streams to 120 Rhea fans who watch his stuff just to see if she pops up when they don’t realize he lives in Tampa and she doesn’t. He likes to pretend like he doesn’t depend on Rhea(and Buddy who also paid for a lot of his shit) but he does. What a failure. Also he did try and wrestle again but he got injured doing “challenges” on his stream and during the match with his ex partner, he ditched him in kayfabe. Hard mode: don’t use OF wrestlers.
Gail Kim eliminating herself from that battle royal
Pro wrestling is one of the few things that I think is okay to 'fail' at, as long as your life doesn't clearly go downhill from that pointLike how Muhammad Hassan went on to become a teacher and principal, with no notable controversies or major issues in his life
>>21145534I guess I shouldn’t say fail, more like give up. I think there’s a difference like with this because she doesn’t like her booking >>21145510
>>21145540Even when she went to tna anyways but still!
>>21145506You're a failure

>>21145506Aussie scenester detected.
Oh this guy got mad at me one time
>>21145506What a fucken failure, pure definition.
>>21145506Jimmy Havoc. Could've just played the prick and told everyone to go fuck themselves like the rest of the other wrestlers do when they get cancelled, and be would've already main events either Mania's or All In's. Now he's scraping year to year worrying about when his McJob will be at jeopardy again for someone trying to re-cancel his ass again. Jimmy must be feeling like a big mega fucking failure right now, not sure how he doesn't even entice a shotgun to the mouth.
>>21148047This cunt fucking sucks. jelly nutella tier fuck up shitter faggot.
>>21148047Jimmy KWAHL lives forever in every true wrestling fan's heart. He won

>>21145506Lars Sullivan
>>21145506Muhammad Hassan
>>21148295The sky was the limit for Lars, eveyone was behind him. Sad
>>21148304Lesson to not do gay shit unless its with the bookers
>>21145506Kaitlyn
>>21148305This. Think about the kids googling Lars Sullivan
>blocks your path in your path
Jinder Mahal>never the guy>can't wrestle his way out of a cardboard bag>Indian>yet not Indian enough for Indians>jam boy of the jam boy faction 3MB>only title reign was widely regarded as one of the worst reigns ever>only got a title reign as a literal DEI hire
>>21145506Based Vampire Kiril with quality threads. The Parea were pretty kino.
>>21148481>kinoif they don’t draw they aren’t kino
>>21148648Nah.
>>21145506Quit trying to Kiwifarm a nigga with normal nigga problems, go poke fun at an actual freak if you need to do this so badly. Wrestling has heaps
>>21148817This thread has nothing to do with freaks
>>21148824IDK Sullivan was pretty freaky
>>21148469He was in an over midcard stable and was WWE champion, in what way is he a failure? He already made it further than most.
>>21145506We've somehow gone many posts without a Marty Scurll mention. He's still showing up where you least expect him in all sorts of weird corners around the world: Barbados, Qatar, Poland, Brazil but the crazy thing about him was timing. Stayed with ROH just as AEW started up with the promise of boatloads of cash and the book, he gets neither, career gets ruined, and not too long after AEW buys ROH anyways. I've never seen worse sustained luck over a period of time in wrestling. Flip Gordon was a similar case, seemed like a day 1 AEW lifer. Whatever happened there?
>>21148469In retrospect it was a decent reign, length and booking wise. Too bad for him it signified the definitive end of SmackDown! Live. Obviously they took a page from the JBL handbook of elevating a lower card guy to a chickenshit suit heel champ but I guarantee 99% of the problem people had was him going from an undercarder to pinning Randy in a fucking FORTNIGHTThey wouldn't have even needed to try that much harder for it to have been good and make sense, that's what's so gay and retarded about the whole thingYou wouldn't put Big Gold on Kenny Dykstra in '07 with 2 weeks notice
>>21145506Keith Lee, big heap of a fucking failure at wrestling. Granted, it's uncontrollable due to his health, but then gets locked up in Khantanamo even though Keith says to wait for something coming, so he's lying to himself and others. On the verge of only the last nail of the coffin, on top of that, divorced from a Blasian baddie and she goes towards another able-bodied black guy. Who knows how much he paid in the divorce cause Mia looks like a cold-hearted bitch, honestly, aside his assumed medical bills. That dude ain't coming back for shit, he's bodied and fucking broken in all aspects bro.
>>21145506Nathan JonesLooked like a real life space marine. Sucked in the ring and hated the traveling and the politics and ribs so one day during an aussie tour he just decided to not get on the plane and stayed home. At least he put his look to good use in movies.
>>21149104>it's uncontrollable due to his healthLmao, the fat fuck left WWE because Vince told him to go to the gym. Meanwhile Tony was happy to pay for another mid-'10s PWG toy.
>>21149104Morbid obesity is not uncontrollable.
>>21145506Whatever happened to these guys?>Adam Rose>Percy Watson>Viktor & Konnor from the Ascension>Monty Brown/Marcus Cor Von>NJPW alumni Michael Tarver>Rob Terry>Orlando Jordan>Mike Sanders>Essa Rios>Evan Karagias>Savio Vega. Nigga went missing right in the middle of the attitude era, which is surprising for a territory era wrestlerThere are some whose whereabouts are well known and respectable. Like big welsh batista ripoff Mason Ryan who is a Cirque du Soleil veteran or some shit like that.
>>21145510Everyone in the industry respects Gail Kim so not exactly a failure
>>21148861I was low key hyped for what Scurll booking ROH would've looked like. Everyone assumed he was going to be AEW from Day 1 but he decided he'd rather do his own thing and I have to respect that. Shame about the nonce thing but what can you do, everyone in the biz is sleazy af.
>>21149265The Ascension are "EX-WWE STARS APPEARING HERE TONIGHT!" types on Canadian family-friendly indies now. Monty Brown's a personal trainer. Orlando Jordan moved to Australia and was working there for a while. Mike Sanders became a stand-up comedian and actor, had a small role in the 2017 comedy movie "Slaw" with popular /pw/ icon Kevin Nash. Essa Rios works "can't get booked on the proper feds" freelance shows in Mexico. Karagias was a stunt man for a while but has no recent IMDB credits. Vega does commentary for AAA. Dunno about the rest.
>>21149104From what I heard they tried to get Fatfuck Lee back on AEW twice already but both times he refused to job to Swerve so they just went fuck it and are letting his contract run out.
>>21149124He was in Mad Max Fury Road, he's in no way a failure.
>>21149265>Adam Rosebecame a roidhead, then became a crackhead. Currently MIA>Percy WatsonHe's a TV actor now, obviously nothing major. I think I remember seeing him in Atlanta, the Donald Glover show.>The AscensionKonnor had a run in TNA a few years ago, now he wrestles in very small indies.Viktor is in the NWA, believe or not. He plays some weird ass doctor character.>Monty BrownBecame a personal trainer>Michael TarverRetired from wrestling and became a christian rapper. I'm not shitting you.>Rob TerryI think he owns a gym these days? Or became something related to fitness idk>Orlando Jordanmoved to Australia and became a college teacher I think>Mike Sandersbecame a stand-up comedian>Essa Riosstill wrestles in small mexican indies, he's not even 50 yet btw>Evan Karagiasworks a 9 to 5 like a regular bloke>Savio Vegastill wrestles in Puerto Rico
Velveteen DreamCouldn't keep his dick out of children
>>21148861>Flip GordonFlat-Earth / anti-vaxx / Sandy Hook truther schizomaxxerHe's still friends with Hangman and Bucks and he was booked couple of times when AEW Dark was still a thing
>>21148861Isn't Flip pretty big in Mexico? Seems like a pretty cozy job
>>21149358Holy shit imagine being trained to do the Pounce by the man himself
>>21149305He failed in wrestling and left quickly, whether they did anything else after is a different matter
>>21149469Well blame OP for the essay about the streamer loser, obviously people would think they should only post abject failures
>>21149476That’s what I was going for.
>>21145506I'm surprised no one mentioned the Vaudevillains
>>21149511Aiden got his neck broken by UAMFBN and Simon got ran out of the company, becoming famous for getting pushed on youtube for burying Enzo Amore. He's still doing indie appearances IIRC.
>>21149511What's the Rusev Day guy doing anyway? Some backstage role?
>>21148861Marty's screw up was confessing to it. The girl calling him out had no real proof. Marty could've no sold it and it would've blown over and he'd be working in AEW right now and getting pushed because he was a member of The Elite.
>>21148469that promo he did before the rock came back turned him into /ourguy/ overnight
>>21145506Imagine if that dummy behind him came to life and strangled him to death on stream and his eyes were bulging out as his face turned purple lol
>>21149881lol

>>21149623He does commentary in TNA
>>21149265Orlando Jordan creeped around the edge of the Aussie wrestling scene, probably popping young boys’ cherries whenever he could. Here is some incredible cringe that got so much laughing stock attention that the promotion took it down but others reuploaded- https://youtu.be/nw6Gs0OOroE?si=uQ88KeJy25WonssV
>>21150749thanks for sharing that gem, anon
>>21150749>Orlando Jordan creeped around the edge of the Aussie wrestling scene, probably popping young boys’ cherries whenever he couldNot only did he get released from WWE for bringing around a very young unauthorized 'male friend' backstage, but I remember a few guys on some podcast video accused him of going after underage boys in AustraliaBut unlike with Velveteen Dream, none of the males came forward to publicly accuse Orlando themselvesLast I heard, he got married to a woman several years agoWWE would probably be smart to not upload any videos with him on their channels (luckily he didn't really do anything notable in the company besides be a part of JBL's feud with Cena and Taker, and also his Benoit feud which wouldn't get shown nowadays anyway for obvious reasons)I personally think it's only a matter of time before accusers come out, just a matter of when
>>21149279Plus she married a big time celebrity chef, she has it made in the shade.
Legendary thread
>>21149533>He's still doing indie appearances IIRCHe's been bouncing around the international scene for a while, he's good for about a dozen matches a year. He goes to the same gym that all the Joshi in the states go to.
I don't really know if someone like Low Ki counts but this might be the closest thread subject where you could group him in.If he was slightly younger he'd probably be in AEW, might've even been in the later editions of NXT or even in the cruiserweight classic stuff that WWE ended up doing. He came from the same indie interest period as Sami, Kevin, Cesaro, had TNA bouts with Drew and Ricochet and Samoa Joe, his career is brushing shoulders with people who mostly did good in WWE and if not have stable enough employment in AEW. Comparatively, he never really found a stable big promotion to keep him, he never had a big moment at a massive event to brag about, his legacy even 10 years ago was talked about as a guy who had a massive ego and didn't like to work with others (though it was a different time where everyone and their mother was doing 'shoot interviews').Even someone like TJP has managed to find a promotion and I thought that dude was the biggest dork imaginable, like a stupid indieriffic videogame addict.
>>21153551>If he was slightly younger he'd probably be in AEWAEW couldn't even handle Phil without having their EVPs getting ass whooped and Tony fearing for his life, prime Low Ki would be a nightmare for AEW.
>>21148469im pretty sure he still wrestles and tried to run his own wrestling company in india
>>21149871He was already /ourguy/ during his championship run
>>21153566>prime Low Ki would be a nightmare for AEW.For sure, but I would imagine that he'd probably find some success. The difference between Punk and Low Ki is that he'd probably go work indies alongside AEW. Punk really didn't do shows outside of AEW at all, I don't remember if that was due to contract or not. Low Ki would've never got that exclusive contract either way (if such a thing exists). He'd be a nightmare but I think he'd be a drama whore that we'd hear about being a nightmare backstage when he shows up for collision, otherwise he'd just wrestle with a contract and more money.
>>21153551The story goes that he always asked for too much money and that he generally didn't like to job. Even NJPW and NOAH got tired of his shit.>Low Ki had told New Japan office that he did not want to wrestle at an upcoming event in Fukushima because of health and safety reasons stemming from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster. Low Ki wrestled the Wrestle Kingdom match in the suit in protest. NJPW was reportedly "furious" over Low Ki wrestling a title match in a suit without clearing it with them first to the point that even years later, the company was said to be open to bringing anyone back "with the exception of Low Ki". Fantastic wrestler, but he really did only have himself to blame.
>>21153611>the company was said to be open to bringing anyone back "with the exception of Low Ki".
>>21153611Wasn't it that he specifically came out in an Agent 47 cosplay, which he didn't get approval for, and since Japanese companies are terrified of IP laws they freaked out and gave him the boot?
>>21153648Hpw strict can IP laws be if the guy you're "cosplaying" as is just a baldie in a suit? Half their country's salarymen could be dragged to court for that.
>>21153657He had the tattoo on his head as well. I think it was probably less to do with IP law and more the fact that NJPW told him not to do it and he decided to do it anyway.
>>21153673>He had the tattoo on his head as well. What a mark.
