You probably need more than one writer for how many hours of programming they need to fill each week, but you still have to have a "showrunner" with a strong creative vision to keep it together. When WWE went public though, that was the beginning of the end. I do not think you can be truly creative in that corporate atmosphere.

A creative team can be a good idea if it's a team full of storytellers who like wrestling and know how it works.
They've never worked in WWE because they're ashamed to be wrestling, so they hire people who hate wrestling for their creative team.
