Because AEW/WBD bought the company that was airing WWE in the UK and turned it into TNT instead.
AEW is on a much larger network there and gets higher ratings in the UK than WWE.
Also, interesting note regarding the UK is that AEW All In outsold WWE SummerSlam.

Dynamite has twice the viewership of Smackdown and 5x the audience of NXT in the UK.
