The show is off-air right now. We are told it's coming back but the word "months" has been used and most of the time when a promotion is supposed to come back, it doesn't.

Santana is older. She has the same match mostly every time out and she can't hit a lot of offense clean most of the time. I'm not a big fan of hers.

I don't know how into WOW you are. Basically they re-aired a bunch of episodes this year which they normally don't do, every piece of footage they aired came from one stretch of tapings (away from their usual arena) and the shows had a lot less matches this year. Everything they did implied they were on a very tight budget this season.

Usually, when the season ends, WOW just airs re-runs until the new season starts. This season, they are completely off of television. Dave McLane then said in one of his interviews that it will be "months" until the new season comes. They also aren't even listed on the LA Live schedule, which is where the new season is supposed to take place. The company that was airing them is also going through a merger.

Basically, every bit of observable evidence we have implies that WOW at the very least temporarily has suspended all activities for the rest of 2026. And typically in wrestling, when companies go on hiatus, they don't come back.

There was over 10 years between the original run and the revival. Then there was a 2 or 3 year break a couple years into the revival. As long as the woman who co-owns the Lakers is still backing WOW it will always come back.
