One of the saddest things about it is that Steve could have had an easy short career for a couple of years doing simple, athletic matches with his looks and legacy to honor Sting, without any exaggerated stupid move or spot at least for most of his time and leave some crazy bump for his last match or so. Some crazy storyline where Sting father and Darby or others train him, and he wants to be himself but then ends up being Sting with the face paint and the coat and all of that, all kind of ideas to stretch for 1-2 years his value maybe as a part-timer even, make some memorable moments and leave in glory. They had to brainwash him with some stupid prideful ideas, and Sting Sr. seems unable to tell him for years that it's just money and miles
