AEW fans are weird, and the only reason they're AEW fans is because WWE pissed them off.
The only reason AEW even exists is because:

the only reason AEW exists is because of WWE hate, AEW cannot exist without hating on WWE. meanwhile, WWE just does fine without AEW.
so when an ex-WWE wrestler comes to AEW, they feel like they got something and won the lottery, yet Paige goes out there and she ain't who she used to be.
AEW fans feels disappointed and suddenly say:

and now they just verbally tear Paige up, instead of trying to boost the bitch's morale up.

AEW is a weird place. People only go there for two reasons, maybe three:

I feel like the people at the top of TKO like Ari Emanuel, Mark Shapiro, even The Rock and even Triple H, are all mad at Bayley because Bayley was flirtin' with the opps for 4+ years now.

Bayley was flirting with the opps (AEW) trying to get more money out of TKO, but it don't work like that. maybe Bayley should've been a better performer then, instead of being a lazy complacent wrestler.

Because it's crystal clear that Bayley ain't gonna do a fuck thing in the Indies or for AEW. All she's gonna do over there is make some money, but she'll come crawling back to WWE later because Bayley's probably gonna have a fucking hissy fit at the AEW women (not named Mercedes Mone) for being soulless hollowed-out husks who refuse to give their all or do better, see CM Punk for more details.

one thing I know about Bayley is she loves wrestling just as much as CM Punk does. Bayley goes to AEW and what she's gonna find out is, she's gonna end up dealing with a bunch of soulless people who don't give a fuck about wrestling. Bayley is gonna be miserable and begging to come back to WWE.

That's partly true - the entire reason AEW exists was because the entire 10's of the WWE were so bad that there was actual demand for a different promotion with better booking. I don't know if people remember how actually beyond irredeemable WWE was around 2015 onwards. Everyone loved Roman Reigns and the SHIELD until Vince decided to kill his gimmick and turn him into a fucking bitch. Fucking Sufferin' Succotash. Proceeded to kill his entire momentum and turned every single person against him by association, because despite the fact Reigns did nothing wrong, the fans took their frustrations with booking out on him. There was no mid card or a women's division. It took them ten literal fucking years to turn the ship around, and it's very likely because AEW got on TV and drew smaller, but regular crowds.

Not like it's any better now, both WWE and AEW suck, but WWE was so horrific back then it literally created AEW. So WWE fans can thank Vince for that one.

Octagon tna was also more entertaining than wwe at the time. Doesn't mean it was great. But the problem with wwe is that you don't watch any wrestling for years and still see the same wwe matches in you come back.
