I mostly play WWE 2K, but Universe Mode feels way too limited. I also bought a game on Steam called Pro Wrestling Sim. It’s probably vibe-coded with Claude, but with mods it’s actually pretty nice for booking whatever you want, even though the game itself is pretty simplistic.I tried Fire Pro Wrestling World too, but I found it pretty awful to actually play.
>>21348100The only wrestling games I played was wcw vs nwo and wwe 2006.
>>21348100Backyard Wrestling 1 and 2 just for the roster
>>21348100>pretty awful to actually playbased, hate faggots that swear by Fire Pro. then find out they only sim matches
>>21348100fire pro wrestling world where i run my own joshi fed
>>21348100Wrestling Empire unironically.
>>21348100Day of Reckoning 2>Muh staminaOnly people spamming running grapples endlessly hate this. The stamina system is great.
>>21348100The classics always hold up of course. WM2000, No Mercy, SYM, HCTP, etc. In terms of more modern ones, 2K14 and 2K19 were especially solid. I actually like 2K26 a good bit for a current day one. The old Acclaimed games aged like monkey piss but WWF Attitude was the hypest shit when it came out. Smackdown 2 was also a perfect game for its time>>21348997>Day of Reckoning 2Both of these were exceptional. I also didn't mind the stamina system at allWe were spoiled back around those years. HCTP, Raw 2, and WMXIX all coming out within a month of each other is crazy to consider. As was having SVR, WM21, and DOR in one year along with SVR06 and DOR2 out together the next year
>>21349021The shittiest taste I've seen in a while.>no vpw2 or even wcw vs the world>no WM XIX>no SVR 2007, 2098, or 2011>no WrestleMania Arcade>no Wrestlefest>hating on warzone and attitude because his dumbass got filtered by basic fighting game inputs>2k slop "good"

>>21349057>vpw2 or even wcw vs the worldI mentioned the AKI games. They all basically shared the same base engine. If you like one you like them all. I was a WWF kid so those were my favorite. Blow me>no WM XIXI mentioned XIX>no SVR 2007I liked this one but I find it a bit overrated these days. Felt like a step backwards gameplay wise from SVR06. It was exciting as the first 360 game though and visually it kicked ass>2098This meant to be 08 or 09? Either way I enjoyed both of those. 08 was a mess in terms of movesets with that fighting style shit they added, the roster was pitifully small, and the 24/7 mode didn't do it for me, but I've become oddly nostalgic for it over the years. 09 was just a better version with those limitations freed up>or 2011This game was awesome. Not an all time favorite for me but one I look back on fondly for sure>no WrestleMania Arcade>no WrestlefestI'm old but I'm not that old>hating on warzone and attitude because his dumbass got filtered by basic fighting game inputsWhere did I hate on them? I just said the gameplay hasn't aged well. I don't think you'll find many people who argue that. Button combos became pretty antiquated as soon as the AKI engine came along. I loved Warzone and Attitude. I even played and enjoyed both of the ECW ones that came along after>2k slop "good"You don't have to hate everything new
modern 2k gameplay is actually tolerable. Tolerable =/= "good" but it's probably not worse than actually playing old-ass wrestling games in 2026. All of the extra modes besides the create tools are absolute junk, universe etc., but they're so bad that I don't know why people even bother with them. The games are also a good use case for ai slop, you can have chat jippity make a face texture for you and turn it into an ok 7/10 CAW pretty easily
2k19 fine and roster is good
no one mentioned fight forever... tony fumbled

>>21348100Fire Pro is amazing to play on PC with the mods that allow you to choose the exact move thst ends the match (and lets you bind a key to always kick out/have the opponent kick out at the last second). Those basically let you work a real match.
