With all the recent darkness in the business, I absolutely HATE the fact that my favorite wrestler is on psych meds Look, I'm no scientologist but I 100% support them in their crusade against psychiatry. It's the most unethical and scientifically primitive medical practice there is, and I feel the exact same way about it as atheists do about Christianity.Case in point -- Suzu Suzuki. I'm a huge Stardom fan and I HATE how her psych meds have negatively affected her. She's put on a ton of weight and looks like a joshi Humpy Dumpty, moves slower in the ring and regularly misses shows because of the horrible side effects. For someone who's just 24 and has been a wrestling prodigy since at least the age of 19, I wouldn't be surprised at this point if she retires by age 25-26.And all this for what, the phony, unquantifiable placebo effect of "I feel better"? How are the downsides of the meds such as nerve damage, altered body image and diminished career opportunities supposed to help someone's mental health? It's a giant sham!Anyway, I wonder if this is a growing phenomenon among western wrestlers? With the exception of The Bunny/Allie who I believe takes SSRIs for depression and seems to be doing fine now in TNA, I don't know of any Stateside examples. I just think with all the recent tragedies in the business it's important for wrestlers to care for themselves and not JUST for themselves. Us fans live vicariously through you and we care about you!
>>21349033>tattoos >obese>psych medsuhhuh, all makes sense. hope this fat bitch does retire soon. she's killing Stardom
>>21349033she'd be the most over world champion in the world if she was still in shape
>>21349033Sumo Suzuki is still one of the better wrestlers in Stardom. Her size adds to her aura, and fits with La Vida Loca being these rough and tough bitches that don't give a fuck. I also love it when she does that kino fat girl muscle flex. That rapid weight gain was pretty concerning though but she doesn't appear to be getting any bigger, so I hope she's managing well.
