AEW fans don't want to see old guys stink up the joint.The good will guys like Sting and Christian have built up is because they were still doing great work. Sting with Darby felt fresh. The fact that he was like 60 and was diving off of balconies, doing shit he absolutely did not need to do to be over and help AEW, that is what made Sting's last run so well-loved. He never felt like he was taking time from somebody else people would rather see.Jericho was like that at first too but now, he's like Edge -- whenever they are on screen, I mostly think about who they're taking time away from that I'd rather be seeing. A consequence of having such a big roster I guess.
