Why can't modern wrestlers draw?
No good characters, uninspired booking, smark pandering.
You wanna know the cold hard truth? The world is just too different than how it used to be. The modern internet has changed so much of how we consume media and interact with culture that Wrestling as a whole will never reach the highs that it felt like it did at its peak. It's got a core audience and it has its spikes, but that's it. You can have the best wrestler in the world with a genuinely interesting character and feel to them, but people will still talk about the classic legends over them in the years to come.
It's actually funny to me watching people argue over ticket sales or whatever when this is already a fairly niche genre

Your idea of "draw" is they say NIGGER.
>>21364925women look like crossdressing menmen look like teenagers all the gimicks are shit
>>21364925Wrestling has been out of the mainstream for so long that the people who are in their 30s wrestling were watching when it wasn't cool anymore, they were the nerds at school instead. So when the nerds grow up to be wrestlers and wrestle for their fellow nerds, of course it won't have mainstream appeal. It's a niche that's near impossible to escape.
