Which is funny, given that, although I don't watch either, if I had to pick between the two, I probably prefer AEW over WWE given I'm more match oriented (although AEW's style grates on me). But the fact remains that WWE *is* the actual big leagues. WWE wrestlers *are* a big deal. The company had a near monopoly over the business for two decades. AEW, on the other hand, bought its place in the wrestling landscape. It acts like it's the big leagues but it really hasn't earned that place, and it's grating when you see that from the outside.
