With the Tournament of Power brought to a close, the Seventh Universe has emerged triumphant once more. Led by the Saiyan warriors, the Seventh's victory was secured. And with the wish on the Super Dragon Balls used to restore the other universes that were eliminated and erased, the final hidden trial was passed, and all eight of the universes up for elimination were allowed to remain. Yet, even with this victory, peace doesn't last in the Seventh Universe for long. As old hatreds rise and long-buried grudges resurface, will you have what it takes to keep everything you've worked the last 28 years of your life to build? Or will those who seek your end ultimately triumph? That all depends on you, and your choices.

You the players will (most often) control Karn. A Saiyan man who has grown from his lowly beginnings as a mid-tier Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733 to become not only the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759, but also personal friend to the former emperor Lord Freeza, father to over a dozen powerful and unique children, a mentor and teacher to his fellow Saiyans, and the indisputable winner of the Tournament of Power. Wielder of the Berserker Soul, and the powerful Stand Divine Dragon Force, you're fully equipped to handle any threat that comes your way. But what will you do when the threats aren't always physical, when you can't simply punch all your problems away?

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After discovering the secret of the First and training his students, Karn met with Broly, Kori and several Tamaraneans who fled Tamaran. Then, after learning troubling news and being unable to telepathically reach Tatsu and Tomi, Karn and Meloka travel to Azar, where they meet Kryat. Karn travels with him to Tamaran, then engages both Kryat and Komand'r. Where, upon bisecting Kryat, Karn discovered he'd been mind-controlling Komand'r the entire time. But Kryat hit Karn with a powerful attack that broke something inside him, and by the time he returned to New Salda for Maz and Kayle to heal him, he passed out. And as we rejoin Karn, Mechikabura has delivered his message and his promise to ask a favor tomorrow, and now Towa has appeared in this dark void as well.

“Karn, we've got a problem. It's Chilli, he's under attack.” she tells you, your mind instantly leaving Mechikabura and focusing on the task at hand.
“What's the threat?” you ask, cracking your knuckles. Ready to go to war for your son, if need be.
“That's the question.” she replies, conjuring her crystal ball and bringing up what's happening to your son. And there, inside the ball you see some sort of giant bug monster attacking his home, but what you notice immediately is the power radiating from that monster is too familiar. A power you're intimately acquainted with.

“What the hell? There's another Towa attacking my son?” you ask, meeting her gaze seriously. “Where is she?”
“That's a good question. And why is she attacking now, while you're unconscious?” Towa replies, her brows furrowing. “They're going after your son while you're down, hoping we're all too distracted with you to notice what's going on.”
“Or that I'd still be distracted with Queen Komand'r.” you reply, immediately realizing the scale of what you're up against. “That bastard Kryat was no more than her pawn. Someone to keep me distracted and occupied so I couldn't help stop this. But... What if it isn't ONLY Chilli? Check with everyone else, make sure my family and allies aren't under attack as well!”

Towa's eyes widen at your declaration, then nodding once.

“You need to wake up.” she replies, reaching out and placing her hand on your chest. “Your people need you.”

And before you can reply, you feel a surge of SOMETHING in your chest, and your eyes snap open as you gasp in a breath. Blinking as you sit up, Maz and Kayle immediately wrapping their arms around you.

“Daddy!” they both shout, you reflexively hugging them as well. But as you wake, you know there's something you have to do.

Well? Where do you start?
>Ask Meloka to go to Chilli's aid, you'll join her as soon as you can after checking in on your allies
>Telepathically reach out to Chilli, ask him what he needs from you right now and how you can best help him
>Have Towa check in on all your allies with her scrying as you stand up and ready yourself for another fight, telling everyone what's happening at Chilli's as you do

>Telepathically reach out to Freeza, tell him what's going on and have him check in on everyone else as you and Meloka prepare to help your son together
Towa's probably already looking for other incidents, so the best thing we can do right now is mobilize all our heavy hitters and start freeing up our allies under attack as quick as possible.

“Thanks kiddos. You did great.” you say to them, then immediately reach out telepathically. “Freeza. We've got a problem.”
“Karn? What's going on?” he replies immeidately, already worried. “What's going on now?”
“Just got back from Tamaran, Kryat's been neutralized and his mind control over Queen Komand'r has been broken.” you tell him, feeling his surprise through the link. “But now Chilli's under attack by some monster empowered by demon magic, taking that Supervillain form.”

“Time travelers.” he spits furiously, clearly ready for war now himself. “What do you need?”
“Make sure everyone else is okay. They waited to attack Chilli until I was busy with the Tamaranean. There might be more going on, I want to make sure we don't lose ANYONE.” you reply, sharing a nod with Meloka as she's ready to join in as well.
“Understood. I'll call back after I've checked with everyone.” he replies, ending the link as you stand up, letting go of your kids.

“You two did good. Now, your mother and I are going to save Chilli.” you say to them, then turn to Towa. “The moment you find whoever's responsible, let us know.”
“Of course.” she replies, stepping close and hugging you as well. Whispering in your ear, “Don't hold back. Hirudegarn is a threat on par with Majin Buu, and even harder to hit. Counter, don't attack.”

She then lets go, taking a step back as Meloka flies up, resting her hand on your shoulder. You raise your hand to your forehead, reaching back out to Chilli telepathically.

“We're on our way.” you tell him, feeling and focusing on his energy through the link. And then, in a flash, you're there. Leaving New Salda behind again, returning to Chilli's world of Planet Rensacor. And as you and your wife appear, the three of you are about to be engulfed in flames only for Chilli to create a barrier around the three of you. “Woah!”
“Hirudegarn's hard to hit. You can't attack it directly.” your son says, looking over his shoulder at you both. “The only time it's vulnerable is when it is attacking, otherwise it's body is no more than mist.”
“Mist? So you're saying it's like those ghosts the Tuffles attacked with?” Meloka asks, reminding you of a battle you'd nearly forgotten. “We can't damage him?”

“Can't even touch him when he's not attacking.” Chilli clarifies as the flames end, your son dropping his barrier as well. “We need to coordinate our fighting, to take this powered-up monster down.”

“GWRRRROOOOOAAAAAAAR!!” Hirudegarn roars, bellowing in challenge as it now sees you and your wife as well. Demonic-empowered aura blazing, ground trembling below.
“Hrmph!” your wife exhales, powering up into her Beyond Blue form, as you ascend into your Berserker God form too. And, from what you can sense, that monster's STILL above either of you. Which leaves only one question:

How do you fight Hirudegarn?
>Rush in and attack, let Meloka go for the counters while you keep the monster attacking you
>Have Meloka fight it, setting up her energy attacks to counter it while you focus and try to find whoever's empowering this beast, then teleport to them and take them down
>Tell Meloka to hold its attention with Chilli, as you try and tap back into Supreme Instinct once more today

“Chilli, use your Champion powers. Find whoever's behind this, whoever's powering this monster up. We'll handle Hirudegarn.” you tell him, your son nodding and flying back away. The monster's gaze follows your son until you shout, drawing it's attention. “Eyes over here, big guy. You're fighting US now!”

Clenching your fists, your Berserker God aura blazing, you then dash in as you feel your wife gather her energy. Closing the distance in a blink, your fist passing through the monster's face as if it's not even there. And, sure enough it isn't, turning to smoke around your fist and vanishing. Only for a heavy blow to land on your back, sending you flying away.

“KHHHH!” you exhale, flipping and firing an upside-down beam at the monster. Who, once more turns intangible. Showing you and Meloka how quickly it recovers and can turn itself back intangible. The beast again turning to smoke, reappearing behind you and slamming another heavy blow into your back. But as it disappears, you see your wife's setting up her Hellzone Grenade. Preparing the area around you both, to take advantage of the opening you'll give her. Flipping around once more, but this time as you do, Hirudegarn's just GONE! Your eyes widen in surprise, then realizing what's about to happen turn. Raising your arms in an “x” guard, Hirudegarn's massive fist slams into your guard. “TCH!”

“GWRRRRRRRR!” Hirudegarn growls as you actually block it's fist.
“Hrrrrrrraaaaaaaa!!” you roar, shoving the monster's fist back. Hirudegarn staggering back a step as you force it back, gathering your energy into your hands. Then you throw the ball of ki in your left hand at it, Hirudegarn turning to smoke once more as your attack would hit it. But this time you spin counterclockwise, launching your other attack as Hirudegarn coalesces behind you. Your attack catching the monster by surprise, the ball of ki detonating against its chest.
“GWROOOOOOAAAAAAA!?” it roars in surprise as your attack staggers it, catching the beast by complete surprise.

“Heh. Gotcha.” you say, clenching your fists and powering back up, charging in as the monster staggers back. However, as you close in, it once more turns to smoke, vanishing around your fist. “Tch! Thought so. KYUUH?!”

You cry out as another heavy blow slams into you, from overhead and smashing you down into the ground this time. But as you're buried in the ground on the top of the mountain, you feel it. You feel your wife's energy explode, all her attacks slamming into the monster above you simultaneously. You feel its roar of pain vibrate through its body down to its fist, the monster's power plummeting. And you can feel Meloka isn't relenting, continuing to lay the power on the monster. Forcing Hirudegarn to stagger back away from you, letting you see her attacking the monster. Dozens of blasts landing a second, giving you an opening to get up off the ground. And as you watch, as your wife relentlessly attacks, her dozens of what you'd thought were the orbs of the Hellzone Grenade all continue firing their own blasts in to the monster. Constantly peppering it with attacks, not giving it a chance to turn back intangible.

“Karn, now!” your wife shouts, her attacks keeping Hirudegarn pinned down. You nod once, gathering your energy into your right fist and drawing it back. Powering up, activating your Piercing Fist MkII and charging. Launching yourself right at Hirudegarn's chest, energy spiraling around you as you become an unstoppable force. One that Hirudegarn's body certainly can't stop, as your sharpened ki pierces right through its chest.
“HRRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, driving your attack straight THROUGH the monster, punching straight out through its back. Even severing its tail from its body, which lands on the mountainside with a heavy crash as you reach out to your wife telepathically. “Don't let up! I'm going to finish it!”
“Hurry!” she replies, as you see her attack's nearing its limits, the balls firing blasts at Hirudegarn shrinking by the second. You have to end this quick, or not at all!

“FINAL!” you roar, drawing your right arm back as you drop down, landing on the ground as you pull all your power into your right fist. “SHINE! ATTACK!!”

And with a roar you unleash your power, the massive wave of emerald energy consuming the monster. Hirudegarn roars as your beam consumes it. Obliterating the weakened monster, disintegrating everything above its knees. And as you end the attack, the two massive legs drop, collapsing and turning to smoke. Only for that smoke to reform, remaking Hirudegarn with what's left. But now, the massive monster's only around your own height, growling then turning and trying to fly away! Clearly aware it can't beat you, and trying to save itself instead!

But what do you do?
>Rush it down and finish that monster off, you can't let it escape

“Oh no you don't!” you shout, kicking off the ground and dashing after the misty monster. Closing the distance and trying to grab it, only for Hirudegarn to turn to mist in your arms, your arms closing around nothing. The sinister smoke cloud reforming into his body three feet away as he continues flying away from you. “Tch! You won't get away from me!”

The monster Hirudegarn continues to flee, flying out over the other side of the mountain away from the Crimson Demon Village. With you chasing it down, swinging repeatedly through it. Unable to land a single blow, as just as before every attack passes through it harmlessly. And even as you fire a turning kick through its head, the being turning back into smoke, you gather your ki and fire a blast at it as it tries to re-coalesce. Only for your blast to pass through it harmlessly as well, the ball of ki flying past it and detonating a couple dozen yards past it. Hirudegarn's body reforming as it disappears into the smoke cloud, but you're not tracking it only with your eyes, focusing on the monster's unique ki signature as you continue chasing it. Both of you blasting out of the smoke, but as it does, suddenly you feel its power plummet. The demonic aura around it disappears too, the monster staggering with the sudden loss of power.

“Wha-?!” you exclaim, unable to slow down and passing through it once more. The beast turning to mist once more, reforming behind you as you flip, landing on your feet and sliding to a stop, turning around. Watching as the beast, eyes wide with fear turns, taking off perpendicular to its previous route.
“Tch! Get BACK HERE!” you snarl, leveling your hands and unleashing a storm of lightning from your fingertips at the beast. However, once more your attack proves ineffective, as Hirudegarn turns to smoke once more. Ending the lightning, you once more take off after this monster. Chasing it down once more with a snarl. “GRRRRR! Dammit, get BACK here!”

“Gyaaaaaah!” it roars in response, sounding terrified as it tries to run.
“Damn. If I could just make it solid.” you think to yourself, trying everything you can think of. Using your telekinesis, but it's like trying to hold air as he slips through your grip. Each failed attempt further fueling your rage, your anger boiling over as you can't stop it from fleeing. “HRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

Thrusting your right fist forward, you punch the air. Unleashing a shock wave, blasting through Hirudegarn's image. Dispelling his image once more, only to coalesce as he continues flying away. Your rage turning blinding, keeping you pursuing the monster and continuing to attack futilely. Chasing that monster as it keeps trying to flee, the air turning colder and colder as you chase it up into the snowy north. Your attention entirely focused on the monster trying to flee you. That is, until another massive roar bellows out, your eyes turning from Hirudegarn to the source of the roar. And seeing a massive, towering pale white dragon.

This dragon is MASSIVE, its eye the size of your torso as Hirudegarn continues to flee. Glancing between the fleeing monster and the dragon staring down at you. Leaving you with one question:

“Tch. I don't have time for a dragon.” you say, then, suddenly, an idea comes to mind. And with a thought, you summon your Stand. Divine Dragon Force appears bellowing as it appears wrapped around your right fist, kicking off after the retreating back of Hirudegarn. “He keeps phasing through all of my attacks. So, we're going to pin him down.”
“Understood.” your Stand replies as you chase the bug-like monster through the snow, the dragon watching you both go. Seemingly content to let you leave, instead of battling you. And as you fly after Hirudegarn, your Stand's eyes blaze with familiar fire. The same flames of Lyin' Eyes Requiem, the Stand whose power your own absorbed. “How shall we stop him?”
“Every time I try to attack it, it turns into something like mist or smoke.” you say as you chase the monster through the snow. “Watch.”

You put on the speed, closing the gap and swinging a left through the creature's back. And it once more turns to smoke, re-coalescing a few yards further away, continuing his retreat. You keep chasing the monster, your Stand watching and making a curious sound.

“Hrmm. I see.” Divine Dragon Force replies as you continue chasing the monster. It flies through the snow, not slowing as it continues trying to escape your reach. “Yes. I can stop it, the moment you attack. Are you ready?”
“Yeah. Let's do this.” you reply, drawing your right back and swinging. And as you punch, your Stand bellows.
REMAIN SOLID!” your Stand shouts, Hirudegarn now unable to phase out as your Stand-clad fist slams through its back. Your fist punching out through its chest, your Stand then binding the creature's body. Eyes flashing, and as you watch the monster begins to disintegrate. Its body dissolving into nothing as your Stand destroys it completely. Not leaving a single trace behind, erasing Hirudegarn completely.

“Well done, Divine Dragon Force.” you say to your Stand, the flames in its eyes fading out as it sighs out, sounding tired. “You alright?”
“Yes. I am just... Tired.” Divine Dragon Force says, surprising you. “I may need... To rest... For some time...”
“Of course. Rest and relax, I'll handle things from here.” you tell your Stand, who nods to you and vanishes as well. Leaving you standing alone in the frozen north, with one question on your mind:

“Meloka, I got him. Hirudegarn's no more.” you think to your wife, feeling her mind connect to your own instantly. “How're things on your end? Need a hand?”
“Yes! Please, hurry!” she replies, your hand feeling like it's moving to your forehead in slow motion as she explains. “After you took off after it, I followed Chilli and found an enemy Towa, when we were attacked! By a pair of Tuffles!”
“What?!” you exclaim, both telepathically and aloud as your hand comes to your forehead. “Tuffles? Here?”

“Please, hurry!” your wife replies, and you don't hesitate. Focusing on her divine energy, teleporting from the frozen tundra to your wife's side. Where she's under attack, arms up defending against a flurry of punches from a Tuffle. One just like that monster Chaya obliterated, you immediately going on the attack. As it's focused entirely on your wife you spin. Throwing your left arm out, right over your wife's head and slamming straight into the guy-looking Tuffle's sternum. Launching him, sending him smashing into the other Tuffle attacking Chilli in his Primal form. Sending both smashing into the side of a castle, obscured by the sudden dust cloud kicked up by them smashing through the bricks. “Karn!”
“Dad!” Chilli exclaims, immediately powering back down and leaping back, the dust blasting clear as you get a better look at your wife and son's assailants.

“Well well, sis. Look what we have here.” the guy says, brushing the shoulder of his blue coat dismissively. “That's a real big monkey.”
“Hey, isn't that the one Hearts said fought Cumber?” she asks, and you see recognition dawn in their eyes. And immediately you understand what's going on, or at least who's behind this.
“So, you're with that guy, huh?” you ask, crossing your arms. “Well then, why don't you bring your boss out here, so I can ask him why the hell he's attacking my family?”

“Hearts doesn't take orders from you! Oren, let's kick his ass!” the girl shouts, red aura blazing. To which the other, Oren presumably blazes his blue aura too.
“Alright, sis. Let's show these primitives the power of the Tuffles!” he replies, the two dashing down towards you. And you focus, unable to sense their energy, you find your opening and surge forward.

Blitzing forward far faster than either were expecting, this time hitting both with simultaneous lariats! The two Tuffles crying out as you smash a forearm into each of them and dash forward, driving them back into and THROUGH the castle wall, launching both through it and out onto the barren field beyond. The two Tuffles land, tumbling over the ground until both slide to a stop, landing on their feet. Only for Towa to appear, not your Towa but another, leveling her hand down at the two. And, once more today your foes are engulfed in demonic energy. However, as you feel them both power up, something feels off. The energy isn't quite right, something's wrong here.

“HRRRAAAAAAA!!” Oren roars as his body's merged with the demonic power.
“KYAAAAAAAAA!!” his sister bellows, transforming too. Both merging with their newfound power into the Supervillain form, but it isn't right. It isn't giving nearly the boost it should. And the energy feels wrong somehow. You can't put your finger on it, but something's off.
“Yes, that's it! Show them your real power!” Towa calls, then as she laughs, you understand. That's not Towa! The laugh's all wrong, and the energy isn't the same as hers. Even when you'd found Towa from other timelines, they all had the same energy. This energy, while demonic, isn't Towa's. Not exactly. There's something else going on, something more. “Show Karn how inferior he is!”

And as both Oren and his sister both charge you, you draw your right back. Gathering your ki into your Piercing Fist, readying yourself to swing. But as the Tuffles get closer and closer, you focus your ki sense. Not on either of them, but on 'Towa'. And right as they swing, you teleport! Using your Instant Transmission to teleport behind that Towa, swinging your fist straight through her back! Your energy shredding her middle, nearly bisecting her as you then place your boot between her shoulder blades, kicking her off your arm to tear your fist free.

“Nice try, pretender.” you say as the fake Towa falls. “Or, should I say, Ozotto?”
“Khh! H-How?!” the “Towa” replies, voice changing as she turns midair. Body shifting, revealing that it's indeed none other than Majin Ozotto, the demon shapeshifter. “My disguise was perfect!”
“Huh?” Oren asks, turning in confusion as the power up fades from him and his sister both. The two turning, seeing not Towa but Ozotto floating there between you and them. “O-Ozotto?! Majin Ozotto's?”
“How?! Hey, Saiyan! Temporary truce? At least until we kill this one?” the girl calls out, Ozotto's eyes widening in surprise as he glances back towards the two of them, then back to you. Clearly not anticipating this turn of events.

“Kamin's right, let's jump him!” Oren replies, the two Tuffles auras blazing as they take their fighting stances. Only for Meloka and Chilli to both catch up, freezing as they see Ozotto as well. But your wife doesn't hesitate, IMMEDIATELY drawing her ki blades.
“YOU!” she snarls, only for ANOTHER energy to suddenly appear behind you! One that's powerful, far more powerful than anyone else here. A power you recognize, despite having only met once.

Hearts is here.

“Chilli! Capture him!” you think to your son, connecting telepathically to him. “I want him alive!”
“Right! Distract him, give me three seconds!” he replies, then ends the link without replying. And you immediately decide to make the biggest distraction you can.

“OZOTTO! You bastard, you're DEAD!” you roar, throwing your arms wide. Aura blazing as you prepare your Final Flash, energy gathering into both hands. And the sudden surge of your power draws EVERY eye, you feeling everyone focusing on you. Ozotto whirling towards you, all three eyes wide in shock.
“Karn, wait!” Hearts says from behind you, placing a hand on your shoulder. His tone concerned, but as he touches you, suddenly you can feel his thoughts in your mind as well. “I see. Clever. Let's make it convincing.”
“Right.” you reply with a thought, then let your aura blaze, seemingly blasting him back off of you. “HAAAAAA! Get OFF me! He dies, NOW! FINAL-!!”

“HAAAAAA!” Ozotto bellows, energy gathering in his tail, preparing to blast your attack. But, as his focus is fully on you, your son, power suppressed, flies right up behind the demon while his focus is entirely on you.
“Crystal Prison!!” Chilli shouts, placing his hands on Ozotto's back. Fully engulfing the demon in his magical crystals in a flash, sealing the monster inside his magical crystals. You end your attack, as immediately the Majin tries to escape, shapeshifting repeatedly. First shifting small, trying to get space to escape, but that doesn't work. So, Ozotto tries to then grow massive, transforming into Hirudegarn itself. However, despite trying to transform into that same monster, the crystals don't let it out. Keeping the monster trapped inside, his magic sealing Ozotto away.

“What?!” Oren exclaims, shocked. “How-?!”
“No way. He was hiding something like THIS?” the other Tuffle, Kamin exclaims, looking at your son with newfound respect and a hint of healthy fear.
“Well done, Chilli son of Karn.” Hearts says to your son, floating down and approaching his Tuffles first. “Oren, Kamin, go home.”

“But-!” Oren starts, Hearts fixing him with a withering glare.
“You're not supposed to be here. I never gave you an order to come here. That bastard Ozotto impersonated me.” Hearts says, the Tuffle twins eyes widening in shock and dawning horror. “Go.”

And without another word they both vanish, leaving your timeline behind. Leaving you, Hearts, Meloka and Chilli to confront the captured Ozotto yourselves. And as Hearts turns back towards the captured demon, you can see he's FURIOUS. And you're suddenly really glad you're not Ozotto right now

Our kids are safe and we're on the cusp of getting extremely important intel, so I'm very much satisfied with what we got done today.
As for who gets to wring the info out of Ozotto, I say we make this a joint interrogation session, us and Hearts. He made an enemy of everybody involved in today's intrusion, so it's only fair that both sides get their pound of flesh.
Karn could probably use some practice doing this sort of thing anyways. It's not like Towa and Cold will always be able to handle it for us after all.

>“Understood.” your Stand replies as you chase the bug-like monster through the snow, the dragon watching you both go. Seemingly content to let you leave, instead of battling you.
I wonder since Karn had Divine Dragon Force as his Stand. Does it cause dragons to perceive him in a different way than any other mortal who has nothing to do with dragons?
>“REMAIN SOLID!” your Stand shouts, Hirudegarn now unable to phase out as your Stand-clad fist slams through its back. Impressive that they managed to pull it off. Hirudegarn seems like the type of enemy that almost always can dodge death, you really need to put a lot effort to truly get rid of something like it. Very nicely done. That was challenging opponent.

>And that's it for tonight, everyone enjoy this episode so far?
Yes, very much.

Yes. It came together and caused even more questions. I’m very curious.
>Are you going to try and get information from him yourself, or will you leave him to Hearts to interrogate as he sees fit?
I hope he will not want to grab Ozotto and disappear, leaving us without answers.
>Curious what else is going down elsewhere/when, and why all of this has been happening without Mechikabura being able to send the Time Patrol to intervene?
Yes. You could assume, that there is too much trouble in another place, that they don’t have enough people to send them here. That’s already tells a lot.
>>6393901
>Not much you can do while he's trapped inside Chilli's Crystal Prison, and opening it even a sliver would give him the chance to become Hirudegarn or Towa or someone else who can vanish.
Ozotto has troubling powers.
>>
Probably in this commotion Hoi ran away. I wonder what will he do now. The reason he wanted to open the box is destroyed.

Good question. His subordinates being horrified they'd been deceived was a good sign to Hearts himself not being behind this.
>>6394032
Unless they have Stands of their own, they cannot perceive Divine Dragon Force. But you didn't challenge the dragon, and it saw you were after the thing that it didn't want there either.
Yes, you have to either obliterate it in one shot or it will survive.
DDF has been using its power quite a lot lately, the cost of using Lyin' Eyes Requiem's power may be catching up with it.
The fact Ozotto could play Hearts has several terrifying implications.
Glad you're enjoying, this arc has been a lot of fun to finally implement with everything happening in the back end finally coming together.
That could be one reason. Or there may be another, more troubling reason.
Yes he does. The biggest cockroach since Dr. Nefarious.

“Majin Ozotto.” Hearts says, flying up directly to Ozotto's face, having reverted back to his normal form inside Chilli's Crystal Prison. “Quite the stunt you pulled, impersonating me to my allies.”

As he stares down the demon, your wife flies over to you while Chilli remains at the demon's back, to ensure it can't escape that way.

“I'm going to make you suffer for this.” Hearts continues, then turns, looking up to you. “But I believe you all have first rights to your questions, as this is your captive. Unless you want to relinquish him to me? I and my people will extract everything he knows, and I shall personally share everything regarding you and your family and allies he has. Would those terms be acceptable, General Karn? I know this doesn't fully make up for my... Subordinates being tricked into attacking your wife and son, but I would like to start by taking care of this problem for you.”
“I'll never talk.” Ozotto says from within the crystal, again changing forms. This time to Towa, trying to use her magic to break out somehow. But, as 'she' tries, the magic is sapped away by Chilli's crystals encasing them! Draining that energy away, it pooling into a smaller crystal the size of Chilli's palm and falling from the prison, landing on the ground with a soft tink sound. “Tch!”

“Well? What do you say, General Karn? Do we have an accord?” Hearts asks, you not feeling any deception from him. But can you really trust him?

What do you do?

“This isn't my call, Hearts.” you tell him, the man raising a brow curiously as you power back down to your base form. “I didn't capture him, that was my son.”

You gesture down, at your son hovering behind Ozotto, his magic containing the time traveler.

“It's his planet, he was the one attacked at his home, and he is the one who captured that demon. So, this call is his to make.” you finish addressing , then turn to your son. “So, what do you want to do with him?”
“Hmm. While I've got him contained, for now, I can't exactly keep him long-term.” your son replies, meeting Hearts' gaze. “If you can keep him contained, and not let him escape, I'll entrust his interrogation to you. However.”

Your son then raises both hands to his chest, conjuring something out of crystal between them. It looks like some sort of spiked ball, it hovering between his hands, only to split in half. Both halves reforming, becoming mirrors of one another.

“Here. This will record all the information you get from him, when you interrogate him.” your son says, the crystal ball floating over, attaching itself to the top of the Crystal Prison. “And with both being part of the same whole, I'll see it all on my side.”
“Ahh, I see. Observation magic, so you can observe the interrogation as well.” Hearts says with an understanding nod. “Clever. Very well, I accept your terms, Chilli son of Karn.”

Hearts then drifts down to your son, hand outstretched. Chilli looks from Hearts' hand to his face, then accepting the handshake.

“You shall know everything he knows as we do. A... Pleasure, working with you. I look forward to collaborating with you later.” Hearts tells him, smirking slightly. Laying a hand on the Crystal Prison, then he, it, and Ozotto all vanish. Leaving you, Chilli and Meloka all floating there outside the damaged castle, the battle over. And with only one question to answer:

What now?

“Freeza, is everyone else okay?” you think out to the former emperor, telepathically linking to your friend. “Is anyone else in trouble?”
“Ah, Karn. Fortunately, there doesn't seem to be any other trouble happening. Not anywhere inside the empire, anyways.” he replies. “From the PTO to Vox, to our allies across the stars, there doesn't seem to be any further outside interference in our timeline.”

At this you visibly relax, sighing out in relief before continuing to address your friend.

“Thanks Freeza. We just wrapped up here, that bastard Majin Ozotto was behind this one.” you tell him, feeling Freeza's sudden concern. “He even went to Hearts' people, convinced two of his soldiers he was Hearts, sent them down here. But we got it solved, and Ozotto's in his custody now. Chilli's monitoring the interrogation.”
“I see. Excellently done, I'd expect no less a flawless victory from you.” he answers as a woman's head emerges from one of the castle's towers, the blonde woman calling down to your son as you focus on your telepathic call. “Even in the divine realm, neither Whis nor Kars have been engaged by the enemy, seems the attack this time wasn't as complicated as we'd feared. This time.”

“Yeah. But we'll be ready next time too.” you reply to him, then feel the conneciton weaken a moment. As if he's speaking to someone there with him, wherever he is before he continues.
“Indeed. Rest well, Karn. You've earned it. For now, there's another matter demanding my attention that I must attend to.” he replies, then ending the telepathic link. No doubt going of to whatever he's got going on.

“So, you got that monster Hirudegarn?” Chilli asks as you turn to him, to which you nod.
“Yeah. Divine Dragon Force got him to hold still, so he couldn't phase away, then we finished him off.” you reply, your son nodding once.
“Good. Tapion'll be glad to know that monster's gone for good.” your son answers, then his eyes widen, as if remembering something. “Tapion, right. Hey, Dad, Mom. Do you two want to meet a thousand year old hero who was trapped in a music box?”

“Tapion, huh?” you ask him, sharing a glance with your wife. Who shrugs as she powers back down to her base form as well. “Sure, why not? Who is this Tapion anyways?”
“Supposedly some great hero from another age.” Chillli tells you as the three of you all fly up, then away from the damaged castle. Taking off back across the continent towards his home, flying across the landscape. “But it seems he was locked away in an ancient magical music box, because that monster Hirudegarn was sealed away within him. He let himself be sealed away for a thousand years, to contain that monster.”
“He... Let himself be a prison for that monster?” your wife asks him, sounding shocked, then as your son nods wraps her arms around herself. “That... That sounds awful.”

“He really is a hero then.” you say, looking down at the landscape below. Flying past, wondering if you'd have the strength to do the same for your family? If you could do the same, but as you think of the faces of your wife, sons and daughters, your friends and allies, everyone, you realize that you would. You'd do whatever it takes to keep your family safe, even if you never got to see them again. And as you have this revelation Chilli's home comes into view, and sure enough you see him. Along with your grandchildren, Kazuburo showing off his summoned monsters for the man. And as you all land, you recognize immediately he's not of this world. But he's of the demon realm, or perhaps a Kai of some sort. With striking red hair styled in a mohawk, long, pointy ears and a sword slung over his right shoulder, he cuts an impressive figure. His power's nothing remarkable, but as you all land and he turns to you, you can see the weight in his eyes. “Tapion, right? You should know, Hirudegarn's dead.”

“Wh-Dead?” the hero asks, eyes going wide with shock and disbelief. But as he looks into your eyes, he recognizes the truth there. And his entire body visibly relaxes, a lone sentinel's long duty finally finished. “Hirudegarn is truly no more?”
“See? I told you, my grandpa doesn't lose.” Meloka Wolbach says with a grin, one that Tapion turns and returns to her. The relief visible in his posture and demeanor, one you recognize from many of the older Saiyans back when the Saiyan-Tuffle war first ended. The slowly-dawning understanding that their fight is now truly finished.
“Grandpa's the strongest.” Kazuburo adds, then summons a pitch-black dragon with blazing red eyes beside his summoned skull monster. “Now, Polymerization!”

And your youngest grandchild fuses his Archfiend with this new dragon, summoning another beast. A new monster, a blackened skull-armored dragon, with black fangs and claws, twisted horns and a significant boost in power over the two monsters that it was made of.

“GREEEEOOOONK!” it roars, and Tapion IMMEDIATELY steps back. Hand reflexively going to his sword, drawing it an inch from its scabbard before remembering that it isn't a threat, and relaxing once more.
“Woah! Your skull dragon even scared Tapion!” Meloka Wolbach shouts in surprise, giggling. “Even mister hero can get scared.”
“It's a frightening beast, that's for sure.” Tapion says with a sigh, visibly relaxing and lowering his hand from his sword. “But what was that magic?”

“Fusion magic! My dad's apprentice taught it to me.” Kazuburo says, Tapion turning and giving Chilli a look, eyebrow raised before Kazuburo continues. “I can use it to stop bad guys by fusing them with one of my monsters, or even fusing two bad guys together into a monster I control.”
“That's... Horrifying. But undoubtedly effective.” he says, then looks a little confused. “Why didn't you try that against Hirudegarn?”
“I tried. But when I tried to fuse it, it's like it wasn't there.” your grandson says, sounding confused. But it makes perfect sense to you, since it can dodge every other attack why couldn't it dodge being fused with another being against its will? After all, you had to use a literal reality-warping power just to subdue it enough to land the final blow. “But I can also un-fuse things too, watch! De-Fusion!”

And as your grandson undoes the fusion, Tapion watching appreciatively, what now?
>Ask Tapion about himself, hear his story as he'd tell it. See if you can figure out more about him, by learning his history he's willing to share

“Impressive.” Tapion says to your grandson as Kazuburo un-fuses his monsters, turning and beaming at the ancient hero. “You'll be a powerful wizard in no time.”
“Yeah, but I'm gonna be the strongest ever!” Meloka Wolbach boasts, pointing to herself with her thumb and a grin. “Just you watch, mister Tapion. I'll be the strongest Archwizard the universe has ever seen!”
“I'm sure you will, if you keep up your studies and keep working hard.” Tapion tells her with a smile.

“So, Tapion.” you say, drawing his attention. “This may be a bit soon to ask, but what now?”
“What now? What do you mean?” he asks, brows furrowing.
“Now that you're free. Not only of your imprisonment, but also free of Hirudegarn.” you tell him, the warrior's eyes widening. “Your duty is done, have you ever thought about what you'd do once it was over?”

“Over...?” Tapion says, looking down at his hands as he goes quiet. Clearly surprised by the question, and unsure how to answer it. “It... It really is over. Hirudegarn's gone, but so is my brother.”
“Your brother?” Meloka Wolbach asks, looking up to Tapion. “You had a brother?”
“Yeah. Minotia, my younger brother. When Hirudegarn was split by the wizard, half of that monster was sealed away inside me, the lower half sealed in my brother before we were both sealed away. With both halves being freed, he no doubt killed my brother to release Hirudegarn, then came for me.” Tapion says, you seeing Meloka Wolbach look to Kazuburo, understanding Tapion's feelings just a little bit. Flying up, taking his head in her hands and hugging him to her chest.

“I'm sorry. That's terrible.” she says, leaning her head down against his. You feeling something twist in your chest as you see your grandchild comforting a man from a time before your people called Planet Vegeta home. She's a good kid. “You can stay here, if you want. If you don't know what you wanna do now, you're welcome to stay with us until you figure it out, or as long as you want. Right Dad?”

She then turns to Chilli, her eyes big and pleading, and you can't help but chuckle as Chilli sighs out, agreeing.

“Of course, he's welcome t-” your son starts, only to be interrupted.
“YAAAAY!” Meloka Wolbach shouts, launching herself from Tapion to Chilli, hugging his neck tight. “You're the best, Dad!”

You walk over to Tapion, laying a hand on the man's shoulder as Kazuburo joins in with Meloka Wolbach, both hugging their dad.

“Rest, soldier. Your war's over.” you tell him, Tapion looking up to you wide-eyed. “You've earned your rest. This planet, it's... Good for the soul, being here. And when you're ready, we'll help you find your planet and people, or whatever's left of them.”

As you tell him this, you look over at Chilli, remembering what all your son's been through. Memories flashing through your mind of the different hells he's endured and emerged stronger from.

“Thank you.” Tapion says quietly, as you both watch Chilli hold his children, laughing with them. Knowing that the road ahead won't be easy, but you'll never quit pushing forward. No matter what tries to get in your way, because what you're fighting to protect is far too precious to ever give up on. “I never got your name.”
“Karn.” you reply, not bothering with the titles.
“Karn. I'll remember it.” he says as the sun drops lower in the sky. Another day well past its peak, nearing its end. Tomorrow will come with its own troubles, its own trials and tribulations. But, for now, you're going to enjoy this moment of well-earned peace.

Guardian or Champion. A wizard champion(like Chilli) will have access to far more powers and abilities than someone like Karn.

Glad you enjoyed, let's see if things calm down or if the madness is only starting.
That's the real question, will you actually get a moment's rest before this fight? Or, like most of the big fights Karn's been in, are you coming into it already tired and at far less than 100%?
>>
>>6394788
Stupid question time.
Would Chilli be considered a straight Wizard with some good melee feats, a multiclass Monk/Wizard, or an Eldritch Knight Fighter?
>Enkidu
It's a crying shame we've gotten so strong, because I would have put a fight with him on our bucket list. Also he's dead, but that's never been an issue for those with any amount of strength.
>>
>>6394808
What would be Karn's class?
>>
>>6395023
If you ask me, I'd say 20 in Barbarian, 10 in Monk minimum, and enough levels in Fighter to pick up EK for some neat cantrips and minor spells.
I'm sure I'm off the mark more than a little, but that's roughly where I'd put Karn.

Everyone's some flavor of multiclass. But Saiyans at base level are essentially a reflavored and reworked sun soul monk. Chilli is not only a multiclass wizard, but also a warlock(Champion).

Then later he became prisoner in Galactic Patrol’s jail, but he did not change his mindset there. After he was freed, he wanted to devout more life, to get more power. He also seems to want to eliminate all the gods too. It appears that he sees entity known as “The End” as an opportunity for a new reality. He is out for himself.
Though he “sworn loyalty” to Universe 10, I don’t believe he will change his goals.
He is supposed to cooperate with Zamasu, who is on a new path in life, but I don’t think Moro can be trusted.
The question isn't “if,” but “when” trouble will strike again in Universe 10.

If Karn ever has to work with Moro, he should watch his back.
>>
>>6395472
He's certainly an irredeemable monster. Whether or not he and Zamasu will become at odds is to be seen, but Moro cannot act against Zamasu as his Kai's death kills him too.
>The question isn't “if,” but “when” trouble will strike again in Universe 10.
What's the over under on that being what Mechikabura needs your help with?
>>
>>6395140
Look into 3.5's classes. They're much more varied and able to fit than 5e's.
For example, there's a class called Binder that engages in aggressive negotiations with powerful spirits in order to gain both physical and mystical abilities from them. Unlike a warlock, these pacts are temporary and you can layer multiple pacts at once at a higher level. And if you succeed your binding check, you made a particularly good pact that only benefits you with no drawbacks.
Karn unknowingly has one level in Binder, and only pacts with DDF.
>>
>>6395558
>He's certainly an irredeemable monster. Whether or not he and Zamasu will become at odds is to be seen, but Moro cannot act against Zamasu as his Kai's death kills him too.
Yes. That limits him in some ways, as well as an Angel watching him.
>What's the over under on that being what Mechikabura needs your help with?
Not low, but is it really about Moro despite him being very suspicious. Could he cause problems this early? On top of that it is something that requires Mechikabura’s attention. Moro just became a Destroyer. Maybe it is about him trying to be an “ally” of The End.
>>
>>6395716
Not gonna lie, been a long time since I looked at 3.5's nonsense. Been doing 5e so long because that's the only system could get anyone local to play. But I'd say DDF and New Salda both are pacts, just one only works on one planet(or with a certain new sword). And speaking of new, started updating the powerlevel pastebin, should have that fully finished tonight then on to the Karn-specific pastebin. Have a LOT to edit there.
>>6395838
Yes. The most effective leashes for now. As, let's be honest, even in the afterlife he'll be a PROBLEM.
He is aware, which is already several "Fuck This" stacked in a trenchcoat. But if not Moro, that you're aware of, then who or what? And, better question, what happened to Ace and Future Chaya? Why haven't they come back yet? Are they too busy? Or, perhaps, they're unable to return?

>Yes. The most effective leashes for now.
What an unusual sight. Moro not being a plague upon the universe, but instead following the rules.
>for now.
This means that he will probably figure out sooner or later, that he does not really need to do his job well. In fact he can be terrible at it and most likely nothing will happen. Look at Beerus. Once the goat figures it out he will probably abuse it as much as he can.
>let's be honest, even in the afterlife he'll be a PROBLEM.
Wow. Would he be a problem on a scale of Demongo, or would it be much worse?
>But if not Moro, that you're aware of, then who or what? And, better question, what happened to Ace and Future Chaya?
I was not assuming that something bad happened to them. Maybe it is taking more time, but they are fine and they are going be back soon and in good condition.
>Why haven't they come back yet? Are they too busy?
Perhaps you are hinting that they are not alright. That’s not good. Is it something that Karn can help with? Or is this something that he should normally stay out of and leave it to other time patrol members. But since Ace and Chaya are gone, Karn and his allies from our timeline are needed to help. There is also “Punished” Karn and Meloka. They are in time patrol. Right? If they can’t help, then what happened? I’m just guessing. It’s complicated when time related trouble arises.
> Or, perhaps, they're unable to return?
Makes me wonder what could cause it. Was it a successful coordinated attack on Future Chaya and Ace by hostile time traveler group? Were they caught? Is it time for rescue operation?
>>
>>6396704
He has obligations at the moment.
Also true. Someone as powerful and ornery as him will find the bounds of this office.
Much worse. His powers won't just STOP working in other world.
I'll say this, in relation to the Time Patrol: Why didn't Mechikabura notice ANY change to your timeline with now TWO incursions?
>>
>>6397099
>Much worse. His powers won't just STOP working in other world.
That’s a lot to consider. I wonder if they (people maintaining the afterlife) would be able to deal with him or would he be strong enough to brute force through things that normally would keep him in hell.
>I'll say this, in relation to the Time Patrol: Why didn't Mechikabura notice ANY change to your timeline with now TWO incursions?
I honestly don’t know. As far as I recall, he has Time Scroll with our Karn’s timeline with him all the time. He does not leave it somewhere “safe”, he carries it. I think I remember, that you said, that many people can’t just normally access this scroll. Only a few selected can, because it is an important one. So in theory it is one of the most protected timelines.

But some people still get in unnoticed. I would say perhaps they have enough skill to surpass Mechikabura‘s detection. That may indicate a lot of talent on the side of intruders.
>>
Which of Meloka's daughters is most like her in terms of personality?

Let's hope King Yemma still has his Otherworld Wrestling Entertainment outfit and championship belt on standby if the old goat ends up biting it. Else Moro will cause bigger problems than what Demongo got up to
>I'll say this, in relation to the Time Patrol: Why didn't Mechikabura notice ANY change to your timeline with now TWO incursions?
He has to be in on it. Either that or he needs a new timey-wimey glasses prescription. Old ass man can't tell a horse from a time traveler these days.

>>6397195
That's a good question. That you've seen so far in-character? Chaya. As for from before Meloka's 'dere awakening? Okira.
>>6397201
King Yemma cannot stop Moro. Once you reach SS3/Janemba levels of power, his own falls short.
Him being in on it is a distinct possibility. He does need you strong, and Saiyans gain strength through adversity.
>>6397325
Yes, from what Karn's seen, Chaya is most like Meloka. The Meloka he knows.
>>
>>6397554
>King Yemma cannot stop Moro. Once you reach SS3/Janemba levels of power, his own falls short.
That's quite the tough break for him. Warriors as strong as Janemba that he could hire as enforcers in Otherworld are few and far, and he doesn't have the time to go back to the gym with all the trillions upon trillions of souls he has to review documentation for. There's only Pikkon and no shade to him at all, he's cool, but that is MORO. The old goat might have to be killed twice for it to stick.

Would require balls visible from space, and stealth he's completely unprepared for and not expecting so he isn't looking for it. Not saying it's impossible, but would be one hell of a risk.
It is also possible, and more likely, objectively.

If only someone like that existed, they'd have the divine hierarchy in a panic if the gods of the twelve universes all witnessed that power. All now scouring their universes to make sure no one like that, with the power to usurp their rule is hiding in their own domains.
>>
>>6398631
I'm gonna skip the whole "dumbass gods lmao" bit for once and just say that it's entirely possible for the Kai to realize that Karn and his ilk can actually be reasoned with, as evidenced by Shin not being a red smear on Karn's boot.
The only issue is that my greatest hope for that bridging of the divide lies with Zamasu of all people. While Zamasu is every bit as arrogant and delusional as his peers, but he's also the one to ever swallow his pride and admit he was wrong. And this was to a mortal, a God killer, no less.
It's not a high bar, but so far he's the only Kai to show an ounce of humility, and thus is the only one with any potential to become a Supreme Kai befitting the title.
>>
>>6398222
>If it lands, and isn't interrupted, it could best him. But as he ALSO wields Hakai, Hakai essentially cancels another Hakai, like a beam clash that fizzles instead like the og Budokai games. And according to Whis, Hakai even works on the spirit.
I see. It has some chance to work.

I read the pastebin description of Divine Dragon Force’s attack.
>“Once Dragon Force pierces an opponent or their Stand, it can turn their life force against them. This will disintegrate the target, destroying their form completely.”
Wording “destroying their form completely” makes it seem to me like it erases only the body, so after this Moro's ghost would probably go to the afterlife.
>>
Short intermission soon, hopefully. We're going to Universe 6, for another round of time invaders!

Hakai can possibly destroy everything, as evidenced with Chronoa's repeated use of it to purge the first Time Scroll.
Depends on the target. It's situational whether it kills someone or completely erases a being.

AGE 780, PLANET SADALA

“C'mon, is that all you got, wimp?” Caulifla shouts at you, standing over you in her Blue form with her hands on her hips as you're on your hands and knees, struggling to catch your breath. “I'm just getting warmed up!”
“I'm-! Not done! Yet!” you gasp out, slowly pushing yourself back up to your feet. Staggering a step before finding your balance, clenching your fists and letting your godly aura blaze up around you as you retake your stance. “Ready.”

“Haha, that's more like it!” she replies, powering back up as well. But before either of you can start, suddenly, you all feel it. You, Caulifla, and Kale, who'd been watching all turn towards what you each sense is a massive powerlevel that suddenly just APPEARED. “Woah. What's that?”
“Trouble. Come on!” you shout, powering down and immediately dropping your sparring duel with Caulifla, dashing into the sky.
“Kale, let's go!” Caulifla shouts, dashing after you. Her blue aura following your own pale one, leaving a pair of energy trails through the air.

“R-Right.” Kale calls as she lifts off as well, following you both. You are Cabba, a protector of the Sixth Universe, one of the defenders who fought in the Tournament of Power to protect your world, and a Saiyan who has risen to the level of divinity trying to reach and surpass your fellow Saiyans of the mirror universe to your own, Universe Seven. But as the three of you dash in towards that new, monstrous energy, you all stop short. Seeing a surprising being, one that looks vaguely familiar.
“Oi! Hey! Who're you?” Caulifla calls out, the being turning towards you all. And immediately you notice several things about them. This being is clearly a Saiyan, specifically a Seventh Universe Saiyan because of their tail. But their face is muzzled, and their power feels... WRONG. “And what're you doin' on MY planet?”

“Hmmmm. You look weak. Find me someone stronger.” the black-haired Saiyan says, which IMMEDIATELY infuriates Caulifla. “I want to fight for real.”
“Haaaaaaaah?!” she exclaims, clearly already ticked off. “Alright big guy, you just redeemed one free ass-kicking! Cabba, Kale, stand back. This smug bastard's all mine!”

“Wait, Caulifla!” you exclaim, but it's too late. She's already moving, dashing down. Azure aura blazing as she charges, and the strange Saiyan's aura blazes up around him. Dark energy surging wildly around him, yet Caulifla's blue energy surges straight through that being's dark power. Cutting through his black and red energy, her fist slamming into his temple. Staggering the muscular man back a step, clearly surprising him as his eyes widen. “Woah! Nice hit!”

“Oooooh? Interesting! You're not as weak as you look!” the dark Saiyan exclaims, planting his feet and clenching his fists as he meets Caulifla's gaze. “This might be fun!”
“Now you're talking! Let's go!” Caulifla shouts, leaping back at him again. But this time, the larger Saiyan meets her fist with his own, stopping her strike short and shoving her back. Then dashing in, landing a powerful gut shot as he steps in followed by a cross to her temple, sending her crashing to the ground, unconscious. Her hair changing, dropping back from blue to black.
“Tch. Disappointing.” he says, you clenching your fists. But then you feel it, and IMMEDIATELY get out of the line of sight as you hear Kale shout.

“Caulifla! You-! You hurt her! YOU HURT HEEEEERRR!!” she roars, aura blazing as she loses all control and ascends. Her body growing massive, hair changing from black to green as she takes on the same legendary power as the Seventh's strongest Saiyan Karn. Growing more and more powerful, reality warping around her massive might as she ascends all the way up from her normal Berserker form into the Berserker God. “I'LL KILL YOU!!”
“Oooooh, you're strong! You'll fight like him!” the man shouts, your eyes going even wider. This monster faced Karn, and lived! This is a problem, this is a serious problem! “FIGHT ME!!”

“HRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” Kale roars, the two massive Saiyans dashing straight at one another. Slamming into each other with titanic force as you dash down, flying down to try and wake the unconscious Caulifla. If that monster beat Karn, and is now here for you all too, then Kefla may be the only chance to stop him!
“Caulifla! C'mon, you gotta wake up!” you say, dashing down to her. Placing a hand on her shoulder, rolling her over only to see her glaring at you. “Caulifla? You're okay?”
“Of course I'm okay.” she says, turning and spitting blood then sitting up, watching Kale fighting that massive Saiyan. They're both swinging wildly, no defense and all rage and raw power. “Knew if I went down, then Kale'd power up. And after I took that first punch, knew he was tough. That guy's strong.”

“GRRRAAAAAA!!” Kale roars, slamming a left up into his guts, then a right cross that sends him flying back. Dashing back in, only for the giant Saiyan to catch her right fist with her left hand, then her left with his right. And even though his face is covered, you can feel the grin behind that mask. “GRRRRR! HRRRRR!”

“Good! Yes, fight me more! Show me-! MORE!” he roars, and as he roars, his power EXPLODES! Turning Super Saiyan, his strength instantly growing several times higher than Kale's Berserker God power. And immediately slams his forehead into her face, the crunch of her nose audible as Kale flinches back, crying out in pain. And at the sight of Kale's slightly glowing blood, Caulifla's own power surges.
“KALE! Alright bastard, playtime's over!” Caulifla roars, clenching her fists as she digs deep. Drawing out more and more power, her aura darkening as she ascends even further! Ascending to that state beyond Super Saiyan Blue that you say Chaya and Meloka from the Seventh wield in the tournament with a roar. “ORRRAAAAAAAA!!”

The Saiyan punches Kale's stunned body away, then turns to face Caulifla with newfound interest.

“Oooh? You still have fight in you? Then come! Fight me! FIGHT MEEE!!” he roars, his sinister aura blazing even higher. Power surging more and more, eyebrows vanishing as his power surges up nearly another order of magnitude higher than his first Super Saiyan form! “TATAKAAIIII!!”
“HRRAAAA!!” Caulifla roars, charging in without hesitation despite the clear gap in power. She goes on the attack, but her strikes don't even so much as budge the massive Saiyan. But she does distract him as Kale flies up behind him. Landing a powerful lariat to the back of his neck, Caulifla dodging out of the way as she drives him down into a mountainside. Then, leaping back both she and Caulifla gather their power, firing a blue and emerald-spiraling beam into his back before he rises out of the rocks. Their combined power slams into his back, detonating in a massive blast. But you can sense he's not done yet. Their attack didn't even put a dent in that massive power.

“Caulifla! Get the Potara on her!” you shout to her, flying up to the two of them. “We need Kefla's power to stop him!”
“Yeah right. We can take this big-!” she shouts, only for a pair of energy claw constructs to fly up out of the dust cloud hanging over that Saiyan. “What?!”

And before any of you can react, those claws slam into the three of you, detonating against each of you. Knocking all three of you out of the air, Caulifla and Kale crashing to the ground along with you.

“D-Dammit!” Caulifla gasps out, clearly hurt as she powers back down.
“C-Caulifla...” Kale sighs out, powering back down too. You don't speak, focusing entirely on standing up. “C-Cabba?”
“I'll hold him off. You two put those Potara earrings on.” you say, gasping for air, staggering a step before finding your balance. “I'll buy you time.”
“You-? How the hell are you gonna do that?” Caulifla asks, pushing herself up into a sitting position, then groaning in pain and collapsing back. “Gah!”

“Get those earrings on. I'll buy as much time as you can.” you reply, lifting up into the air as the dust begins fading from around the other Saiyan, who focuses on you.
“Tch. Disappointing. I was hoping for a real fight.” he says, sounding disappointed. “Can you fight?”
“How about we find out?” you reply, clenching your fists. Tapping into your divine power, ascending back into your Super Saiyan God power. And as your fiery aura blazes up, you see that Saiyan's eyes widen in shock.
“Y-You?! YOU!” he snarls, his power SURGING. Your Super Saiyan God power clearly something he recognizes as well, but from the sudden anger in his eyes, you realize you might have made a mistake. “TATAKAI! TAATAAKAAII!!”

And that's the last thing you hear before he blurs towards you, and everything becomes pain. Before you can raise your guard, fight back, or do anything. He attacks you with a previously-unseen fury, attacking you relentlessly. Bones snapping under his relentless attack, then with a final roar and a left cross to your face, feeling your face cracking, the heavy blow sends you crashing back down to the ground. Gasping for air and crying out in pain as that mad Saiyan raises a hand, gathering ALL his power into a massive ball of energy overhead. An attack that, if it lands, will destroy Planet Sadala. And you're powerless to stop it, your body broken and battered on the ground. However, as your eyes begin to close, consciousness fading, the last thing you see is a powerful beam blast that attack away into space, and a familiar being fly up to confront that monster.

“You're fighting us now! Kale, plus Caulifla, makes Kefla!” the fused fighter declares as you lose consciousness. Your final thought your belief in them, that the two of them together can do it. And if they can't, then your people, your planet, your entire universe are done for.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After aiding his son Chilli with an ancient monster Hirudegarn and slaying it with Divine Dragon Force, Karn then aided his wife and son against Tuffles from another timeline, under the command of Hearts. Only for it to be the shapeshifting bastard Majin Ozotto behind their interference, who Hearts takes to interrogate with Chilli observing magically before Karn and Meloka meet the ancient hero Tapion, who Hirudegarn was sealed within. And after Tapion agrees to stay with Chilli's family until he decides what to do next, Karn and his wife say farewell to their son and his family, returning to their home of New Salda. Taking a well-earned rest. And as we rejoin Karn, a new day is dawning. One day closer to Karn's confrontation with the would-be Saiyan killer Granolah.

“Karn. A word, if you would.” a voice cuts through the early morning haze in your mind, your eyes snapping open as you look around. Only to see none other than Beerus the Destroyer's attendant, the angel Whis standing just outside the threshold of your bedroom. Towa asleep on one side of you, Meloka on the other. “I have received some... Troubling news, that may require your attention.”
“Whis? Sure, one moment.” you reply, also telepathically as you use your telekinesis to gently lift your wife and Towa both up, slipping out of bed and quietly dressing. The angel, who appears to care for modesty turns, not watching as you dress in your boots, pants, and bracers, not bothering with your armor as you then walk to him. The angel leading you from your bedroom, and you follow. The door closing with a quiet hiss behind you as the two of you walk the hall. “What's going on?”

“Your battle with that time traveler, the other Saiyan. Did you catch his name?” Whis asks, the question surprising you. Of all the things you'd been expecting him to ask, this isn't it.
“Cumber.” you reply, wondering if Whis heard his master Hearts' plan to destroy the gods.
“Cumber. And he looked something like this, right?” he asks, projecting an image from his staff. Showing you a recording of Cumber all right, but fighting Kefla in her Super Saiyan 3 form, of all people.

“Yeah, that's him.” you reply with a nod, realizing he's ascended to Super Saiyan 3 as well, the two long-haired Saiyans brawling at full power. But it's clear that while Kefla has a clear speed advantage, Cumber is stronger. Which tracks with what you've seen from him.

“This was taken nine hours ago, in the Sixth Universe. Luckily, another Time Traveler recalled that monster after he bested the fusion, before he could kill anyone.” Whis says, and sure enough Cumber lands a powerful left cross to Kefla. Who, despite getting blasted back regains her composure. Only for her body to split down the middle, and revert back into Kale and Caulifla right as Hearts appears. Taking Cumber with him, the two vanishing without a trace. Leaving a battered Caulifla and Kale, who both collapse immediately. Passing out next to Cabba, who lies on the ground broken and battered, limbs broken and shattered, coughing up blood. Looking like Cumber beat the absolute hell out of him. “Champa has been adamant that Cumber was sent from our universe, trying to sabotage his team before the next tournament.”

Well? How do you reply to this?
>Tell Whis he's not of your timeline, that Cumber's not one of yours and you'll tell Champa yourself if you need to.

“Cumber's not one of mine. He's not from our timeline.” you tell the angel, who meets your gaze impassively. “I'll tell Champa myself, if I need to.”
“That won't be needed. I came to confirm this on behalf of Lord Beerus, not his brother. He suspected this Saiyan had no association with you, that there was more going on.” he says, then his expression changes. “So, tell me, Karn. Another time-traveling threat here to make your life more difficult?”

“Yeah. Don't think I'm their ultimate goal, just a piece of their leader Hearts' game.” you reply, Whis nodding once.
“Thank you for your cooperation. I shall inform Lord Beerus.” Whis says with a small nod of his head, turning and walking away towards the exit. Only to stop after a dozen or so steps, looking back over his shoulder. “Oh, and Karn?”

His expression suddenly shifts, growing terrifying and determined, all his fake niceness vanishing and revealing the face of the warrior underneath.

“Should you choose to side against the gods, and seek to destroy Lord Beerus and the divine hierarchy, I shall stop you myself.” he says, voice ice cold. And then that icy, determined glare vanishes, the faux-smile returning as he then turns back, walking away casually. As if he hadn't just threatened to end you, humming to himself as he goes. Leaving you standing alone in the hall as you hear him walk down the ramp and out onto the beach, then vanishing as he goes to return to the Destroyer's world.

You stand there, feeling a chill crawl up your spine as you realize that, as you are now, you can't stop that angel should he choose to interfere. That despite all your power, you still aren't to that tier of power.

“It's quite the disturbing realization, isn't it?” a voice calls from behind you, you turning and seeing none other than Mechikabura standing there. His own expression conflicted, but smirking slightly. “That even despite all your power, there's always a stronger being.”
“Mechikabura.” you reply, giving him a small nod. “So, what's the trouble?”
“Your Time Scroll is missing.” he says seriously, your eyes widening as your heart skips a beat in shock.

“Wh-What?” you ask, eyes widening in shock. “The hell do you mean, it's MISSING?”
“I noticed it yesterday, after the report from Ace and Future Chaya about Cumber's attack into your timeline. I went to check, and realized the scroll has vanished.” he answers, his expression troubled. “It has disappeared without a trace.”
“So why the hell are you here, instead of tracking that down?!” you shout, anger surging at the demon god's apparent failure. But before you can build up steam he holds out a hand, silencing you.
“That's why I'm here. I need you to track it.” he answers, you blinking twice in confusion. “Your unique power is the key I need to find your scroll. And whichever dead man stole it.”

Addendum: It takes more than balls of tungsten to steal Mechikabura's property, and he's always been a cunning and more importantly CAUTIOUS demon in this reality. Where are the reinforcements? “What do you need my power for?” you ask him, brows furrowing as you meet his gaze. “How is my strength something you can use to find my Time Scroll?”
“That's simple. A Time Scroll resonates with the same temporal signature as someone from it. So, when we arrive at the Time Nest, I shall cast a resonance tracking spell upon you. So, no matter what time whoever stole your Time Scroll is hiding in, it will match the resonance from you. And we'll have our thief.” he says, then smirks slightly. “And, although it COULD be anyone from your timeline I use for this... I don't necessarily trust any of them with this task. And if we're to be confronting someone clever and stealthy enough to steal your Time Scroll from me, I... may need your instincts.”

He confesses to needing your help, you blinking once in surprised confusion. Here is the demon god, a being older than your entire reality saying he may need your help. And that he's not as all-powerful as he tends to present himself. But, as he sees your reaction he smirks, elaborating.

“I have learned recently that I am not infallible. Nor nearly as powerful as I believed myself to be. And before confronting a being willing and ready to face me, who no doubt knows I will have eventually discovered your Time Scroll's abduction, I would prefer to... Stack the deck, as it were.” he continues, expression turning resolute. “Instead of facing this threat blind and arrogant, overconfident in my power alone, I shall confront them fully ready for war, and with every advantage I can muster. And that includes you. Your instincts are second to none, and could be the difference between retrieving your Time Scroll and our mysterious threat escaping. So, I shall ask you once more, Karn; will you aid me? Will you lend me your power and support, to retrieve your Time Scroll?”

Well? How do you respond?

“Of course. Just have to do one thing first.” you reply, turning from Mechikabura and walking back to your bedroom. “Need to let Meloka and Towa know what's going on, and where I'll be.”
“You'll be returned to the same instant, when the job's finished.” he says, smiling a faint, knowing smile. “But, having them aware as a precaution, should we not return isn't a bad idea. I'll wait here.”

You nod to him, continuing back to your bedroom. The door sliding open with a hiss, Meloka still deep asleep but Towa's sitting up groggily.

“Karn? What's going on this time?” she asks, rubbing her eyes sleepily.
“Mechikabura's here.” you tell her, walking over to your wife as you see Towa freeze. Her entire body stops, blinking once, twice, three times in confusion as you start gently shaking your wife before she lets out a choked sound.
“M-Lord Mechikabura's here? Why?” she asks, throwing the sheets off and conjuring her suit from the floor back over herself. “What's going on?”
“Mrhrmmm? Karn?” Meloka asks sleepily as Towa comes to you, her entire body language nervous, worried. And, as if sensing her tension your wife's eyes open, and with one look at her face her brows furrow. “Trouble?”

“Trouble.” you reply as she sits up, telling the two of them what all's happened. First with Whis, and now Mechikabura. Watching their own expressions shift, turning deadly serious as you finish.
“The theory is sound, even I can use that same sort of tracking magic. Although not to the scale of a Time Scroll.” Towa says, a hand going to her chin as she ponders. “Though I do have a question to ask him, about this.”
“Then let's go.” Meloka says, standing up. Floating into the air, using her telekinesis to pull her clothes onto herself, even tying her belt before landing beside you dressed. You give her a nod, the three of you exiting together. And, sure enough, Mechikabura's where you left him. However, he's not alone. As someone else is there with him, speaking with the Demon God.

“-tential for greatness. Continue studying well, and once you've learned all they have to offer, he will be the one to further your-” he was saying to Haathe, who is standing between your bedroom and the Demon God as you all approach. “Ah, there you are.”
“My lord.” Haathe says, turning to you and bowing, stepping back out of the way.
“Lord Mechikabura. A question for you, about this spell.” Towa says, stepping forward. “You told Karn that you could trace his resonance to his own Time Scroll. However, if-”

>>
>>6399945
Her question quickly devolves into something you can't comprehend, using words you've never heard before as you're left standing there, blinking in confusion. Glancing first to Meloka, then to Haathe. Both of who look equally as lost. However, Mechikabura answers, his own words equally as convoluted and made up-sounding. Then, once his explanation's finished, he turns back to you.

“Or, in simple terms, I'm using a 'missing' piece to find the rest and reunite them. Make them whole once more.” he says, then creates his usual portal. However, as he does, it doesn't make a sound. Something Towa notices too, immediately stepping forward.
“What the hell is that?” she asks, brows narrowing. “Your portal didn't make a sound. I couldn't even feel it, much less feel your magic. What did you do?”
“As I told Karn, after my encounter with The End I learned I am not yet at my peak. I have been studying, learning. And advancing my craft, to prepare for the day I shall face it once more.” he answers, you seeing Towa's eyes widen in shock. Taking a step back, her voice coming out a whisper.

“You mean you aren't the peak?” she asks softly, to which he grins.
“Of course not. And we'll need far more power than my current limits if we're to best that monster. And speaking of power...” he says, leveling his hand at Towa. His dark aura blazes up, enshrouding her in his demonic energy. Only for her own power to plummet, changing into divine energy as he forces her transformation into a Demon God. But he doesn't stop there, sharing more of his own power with her, forcing her power to evolve even further. You watch as her clothes shift further, the red around her eyes growing across her face as her hair grows larger too. As if she's going into Super Saiyan 3, complete with the large single bang coming down over her face. But as her transformation is complete, she looks herself over in shock and disbelief. “You will need more power as well, soon enough. Now, are you ready, Karn?”

Well?

“Ready. Let's do this.” you reply, Mechikabura nodding to you.
“Good luck. Kick their ass, Karn.” your wife calls as you follow Mechikabura as he steps through his portal. You then step through, reality distorting momentarily. But then everything re-settles back into place as you fully step through, finding yourself back in the Time Nest. Where, upon the central table, is a pile of Time Scrolls scattered haphazardly. And in that pile, more than two dozen are radiating with sinister energy.

“I'll take this one, you got that one?” Future Chaya asks Ace, who nods. Both of who then stop and turn to the portal, seeing you walk in. “Daddy? What's going on?”
“Karn's here to help with a different mission, keep going with your current assignment.” he says, you see them both nodding, returning to being serious then vanishing in flashes of light. Leaving you standing in the Time Nest with Mechikabura, the Supreme Kai of Time Aeos, and none other than Trunks.

“Karn.” Trunks says with a nod, one which you return.
“Trunks. Been keeping up with your training?” you ask, to which he smirks.
“More than keeping up. I'm far stronger than the last time we fought.” he answers, no longer the timid, worried young man. But a fighter fully evolved into his own, confident in his strength and unafraid of you now. “Maybe when we get this all sorted out, we can go a round or two? I'm curious how much more powerful this Supreme Instinct has truly made you.”

“Perhaps another tine. Right now, we have more pressing concerns.” Mechikabura says to him. “Focus on stopping the spread, while we handle this other matter.”
“Of course.” he replies to Mechikabura, nodding and turning his focus back to the table. Scanning over the scrolls radiating with dark energy, scanning their contents as he finds the sources of that 'spread' Mechikabura mentioned. But Aeos then steps forward, her expression conflicted.
“What are you doing?” she asks softly, meeting his gaze. “We're in the middle of an emergency, we need you focused.”

“The emergency was a distraction. To keep me from noticing what's missing.” he replies softly, quietly. Aeos looks him in the eyes, then to you, understanding dawning. Her own eyes go wide, shocked as she nods.
“Understood. I'll manage this one, until you're finished. Should I call them in for help with this?” she asks him, Mechikabura stroking his chin a second as he contemplates it.
“If you believe their assistance will be a boon and not a burden. If they can put their jokes aside and focus on completing the mission, then yes.” he answers, then turns from the table, back to you. “Are you ready?”

“What do I need to do?” you reply, Mechikabura smirking. Leveling his hands at you as they're engulfed in demonic magic.
“Hold still. And try to reach out to your wife.” he says, your eyes widening in shock. But then, understanding dawns as you glance down at your wedding band, at the magic linking it to hers. “Exactly. Now you understand.”

And without waiting fires his dark magic not at you, engulfing you. Entwining itself in your wedding band as he lowers his hands from you.

“Good. Now, close your eyes and focus.” he instructs, clapping his hands. And all of the Time Scrolls suddenly leap up from the table, moving about you. “Focus only on your link to your wife, envision yourself pulling her in, drawing her to you.”

And you do as instructed, focusing, reaching out. Trying to follow the feeling, to reach your wife's mind once more.

Standing in the room, feeling the rustle of the wind as the Time Scrolls form a vortex around you, you clear your mind. Focusing only on your link to your wife through the ring, through the physical symbol of your bond. Feeling the brush of wind around you, hearing words spoken that you can't make out through your single-minded focus. And as you do, suddenly, your arms snaps out. Seemingly by instinct, feeling something heavy slam into your palm. Opening your eyes, you find yourself holding a Time Scroll in your hand. Almost as if it called out to you, or rather you called out to it, and it answered.

“Very good. Now, let's see if we can find that little thief.” Mechikabura says, returning the other scrolls to the table with a flick of his finger. Where you notice the scroll in your hand isn't radiating energy like dozens the others, in fact it doesn't seem to be active at all. Aeos, curious, walks over to you. Examining the scroll in your hand a moment before holding her hand out, clearly waiting for you to give her the scroll. Which you do, the tiny Time Kai laying it on the table and unrolling it. Peering at the scroll curiously, you looking at it as well. But you can't see anything. It just looks like paper to you.
“Hrmm.” Aeos hums to herself, looking into the scroll. As if seeing something on there that you can't observe. “That's strange.”
“You cannot find a disturbance, can you?” he asks, Aeos looking up from the scroll towards him in confusion. “That's because they're smart enough to cover their tracks and not leave a distortion in the timeline by hiding in a place their visit won't affect.”

The demon god Mechikabura then engulfs that Time Scroll in his magic, then holds it up towards you. Instinctively, you raise your left hand towards it, ring-first. And a beam of dark energy surges, connecting them both.

“There. Now we shall see where our thief is hiding.” Mechikabura says, setting the scroll back down and peering into it. “Come, Karn. Let us see who thinks they can take from me.”

You join Mechikabura, leaning down along with Aeos, all looking into the scroll. And, this time, you can see it. A desolate planet with a simple hut erected on its surface, and a being you weren't expecting sitting by a fire. Staring deeply into the scroll, studying it intensely.

“Puddin?” you ask, confused. “What is Dumplin's daughter-?”

But your question is stopped as you realize exactly why she of all people would want to take your Time Scroll. No doubt seeking her revenge, after what you did to her father by nearly destroying him. Or, perhaps...

“That arrogant, traitorous little-!” Mechikabura snarls, his dark, sinister aura blazing in response to his fury. But you interrupt, drawing both eyes.
“Hold on. I don't think she's trying to change anything.” you say, still looking at the scroll as understanding washes over you. “She's looking for her father.”
“Her father?” Aeos asks, her eyes widening in understanding as she turns back from you to the scroll. “Of course. When she couldn't find him in any other timeline, it makes sense she'd assume he's in yours.”

“Regardless of her reasons, she has stolen from me personally, and threatened your entire timeline's safety.” Mechikabura says, tone resolute, final. “She must be dealt with. Swiftly, and efficiently.”
“On that, we agree.” you reply, but that leaves you one question:

How do you do this? How do you confront Puddin, Daughter of Demon God Dumplin?

“I'll go. I'll confront her. But, I'm not going alone. I need someone, either of you as backup.” you say, both deities looking surprised at your request. “I'm sure she won't react well to seeing me again, last time she thought I killed her dad.”
“I see.” Mechikabura says, nodding once. “Aeos?”
“Very well. I'll join you in subduing her, should the needs arise.” Aeos answers, nodding to you. Taking the Time Scroll and rolling it back up, holding it up to you. “Let's go.”

You nod, taking the scroll in hand as well. And everything vanishes in a flash of light. The world changing around you, and you find yourself standing with Aeos just outside the shelter. But as you land, Puddin IMMEDIATELY recognizes you.

“YOU!!” she shouts, IMMEDIATELY exploding off the ground. Closing the distance instantly, her fist wrapped around your Time Scroll slamming into your jaw. Knocking you off your feet and sending you flying back, flipping and landing on all fours. Only for her foot to burst out of the ground, heel slamming into your chin and knocking you straight into the air.
“Guuuh?!” you wheeze, only for her arms to stretch up, wrapping around you. Pulling you back down at her, only for Aeos to power up, shouting out.
“THAT'S ENOUGH!” she declares, but Puddin doesn't stop. Pulling you into a double kick, her arms releasing you as her blow sends you flying back. But before she can pursue you further, Aeos appears between you both. “I said. That. Is. Enough. Stand down.”

“And why should I?” she snarls back, aura shifting to white as her power jumps several hundred times.
“Because I-!” Aeos starts, but you interrupt her.
“Because I know where your dad is. And I can take you to him.” you say, Puddin's eyes widening with shock. “I know that's why you took that scroll, isn't it?”

“How-? You-!” she stammers, clearly caught by surprise. But you fly down past Aeos, drifting down towards the strange woman. Not powering up, but ready to transform now at a moment's notice just in case. “Do you really mean it?”
“I mean it.” you reply, then turn back up to Aeos. “Hey, Aeos. Mind showing me how to use one of these things?”

“I... Um, well. Of course.” she replies, clearly surprised the fight is already over. The three of you all flying back down to the shelter together. Aeos showing you how to use the scroll, how it, much like your swords and other powerful artifacts you've wielded, responds to your energy touching it. And so you show Puddin where her father is, in his disguise as Mr. Popo. Finding a time with no one else at the Earth's Lookout, the three of you holding onto the Time Scroll. Once more, everything disappears in that same blinding flash of light. And as it clears, you see Dumplin, “Mr. Popo” standing on the edge of the Lookout. Looking down over the planet below. Turning as you all appear, his eyes widening in shock.

“Karn? Aeos, Pu... Puddin? Is that really you?” he asks, and Puddin immediately starts crying. Dashing forward, the two strange beings crashing into one another so hard the shock wave pushes you back a step. And as the two hold, the father comforting the crying daughter, you turn to Aeos.
“This is a most... Unorthodox answer. Although, I do suppose she will be given access to the scroll, to visit with her father again. Once Mechikabura's forgiven her for stealing the scroll, that is.” she says, a wry hint to her tone. “You're a hard one to predict, Karn. I can see why Chronoa would have such trouble with you. Let us return, this is far too early for your own timeline for your to be here. You've not even been born yet.”

“Right.” you reply, Aeos holding the scroll out to you. But, before you take it, Dumplin, in his guise as Mr. Popo meets your gaze. Nodding once, smiling appreciatively. To which you nod back, then take the scroll with Aeos. And in a flash, you're back in the Time Nest.
“There you are. And you retrieved the Time Scroll, perfect.” he answers, Aeos moving her hand to hand the scroll to the Demon God. But you don't let go, not yet. Drawing both deities' eyes. “Karn?”

Well?
>Tell Mechikabura what happened, and that you want Puddin to have access to the scroll. Or for him to send her to her father from time-to-time, no child should be deprived of their living parents
>Ask him what he's going to do differently first, how he's going to protect the scroll, your family's lives and entire existences moving forward
>Tell him you fixed the issue, and that it shouldn't be a problem moving forward as long as she's allowed to visit her father. As that was the entire reason she stole it
>Ask what's going on here in the Time Nest now, what's 'spreading' through the Time Scrolls. Because it sounds like trouble, and you've been getting quite a lot of that lately

“What's going on?” you ask him, meeting Mechikabura's gaze evenly. “Tell me what's really going on.”

He stops, meeting your gaze. And it's clear he's thinking over his answer, not looking away from your gaze for several seconds as silence hangs. Then, to your surprise he nods his head slightly, a small concession.

“Very well. You're my ally, you should know when there is trouble.” he says, releasing your Time Scroll. Leaving it in your hand as he walks over to the table, where it seems more Time Scrolls are glowing with sinister energy than when you left. “And we're... We're in trouble. Problems are propagating faster than we can handle them.”
“We?” you ask, and with a flash of light, another familiar face appears.
“Phew. Got that one taken care- Karn?!” the previous Time Kai, Chronoa shouts, taking a step back. “What is HE doing here? And why does he have a- HIS Time Scroll?!”

“Karn aided me in recovering it. Seems Dumplin's daughter, Puddin, somehow managed to sneak it away from me.” Mechikabura says, Chronoa looking between the three of you, stunned. As if she can't quite believe what's happening. Only for Ace to reappear in another flash of light, but your daughter doesn't. Something he notices immediately, but makes the wrong assumption.
“Did Chaya already go abck for another?” he asks, then as he doesn't get an answer, visibly turns worried. Moving over to the pile of scrolls, taking the one she'd disappeared into as he rolls it out. His movements panicked, worried. Telling you more about how dire the situation is than any long-winded explanation. “No. No no no, not like this. Not Chaya.”

Well. It looks like things aren't getting better anytime soon.

And that's it for tonight, everyone enjoy this weekend's run so far? Ready to see what Chaya and Ace have been battling against, and take a stand against it yourself? Do you have any guesses who you think it could be, or are you in the dark about what could be causing this level of disturbance across so much of time? And do you think Puddin appreciates what you've done for her, or do you think she'll still hold a grudge? Some of this and perhaps more, when Saiyan Conqueror Quest continues in under 12 hours at noon EST!

Chaya's in trouble and Karn's coming to the rescue? I would say this is nostalgic if not for the fact that our daughter was in incredible danger.

Yeah, Future Chaya thought she was ready for this one. Unfortunately, her cockiness got the better of her. And someone got an unhealthy drink of her own power.

They are training day after day. Aren’t they? To face Universe 7 again. Looks like next time the challenge we face will be higher.
>If that monster beat Karn, and is now here for you all too, then Kefla may be the only chance to stop him!
He assumed Karn lost, that’s fair. Who could expect Karn to win against Cumber? Something about Karn makes people underestimate him very often despite his history.
>>6399222
Cumber is fighting just for the sake of it. He likes it.
>“Yeah right. We can take this big-!” she shouts, only for a pair of energy claw constructs to fly up out of the dust cloud hanging over that Saiyan. “What?!”
Those claws are cool.
>>6399223
>mad Saiyan raises a hand, gathering ALL his power into a massive ball of energy overhead. An attack that, if it lands, will destroy Planet Sadala.
It seems he never holds back.

I want to say this was a fun intermission. Very nice.
>>6399448
>Which means 3 different incursions into your timeline are now unaccounted for from the Time Patrol.
Maybe it was unnoticed because of the Time Scroll missing, but if it continues even more after retrieving it, then I have a theory.

It goes unnoticed because every time Hearts retreats, he is not time traveling to a different timeline. Yes they are time travelers and come from who knows where and when, but when they retreat, they are not leaving our Karn’s timeline and time. Their base might be hidden somewhere in our Karn’s timeline today. I know it sounds crazy, but it is the last place you would expect them to be. Maybe they live here and that’s why their appearance does not trigger the detection of time incursion.
>He's getting stronger, wants the runback.
I can see. His rate of improvement is impressive.
>Yeah, he had no idea. Unfortunately, he found out. And could perhaps be how you find out IC.
True. Kaba could tell Karn if they meet. Otherwise Karn will probably see Cumber’s reaction to Super Saiyan God when Maloka or Chaya will use it.
>>6399821
>After aiding his son Chilli with an ancient monster Hirudegarn and slaying it with Divine Dragon Force
I can’t help but wonder, what was even the point of Majin Ozotto pretending to be Hearts, to send Tuffles after Chilli, and then pretending to be Towa, buffing Hirudegarn to become a bigger problem. Was the real goal to kill Chilli or was it something else? Freeza said no one else was attacked, but I think it was a great distraction nonetheless. Maybe whoever sent Ozotto, did something else in another place. I just don’t know, but it seems, that there is more to it.

>“That even despite all your power, there's always a stronger being.”
I was thinking about what Mechikabura said about The End. He did not just saw it. He tried to fight it. He even managed to make it notice his attacks. Impressive and also shows the scale of the threat. His words gave me impression as if he was an ant trying to battle an elephant. Right now defeating Hadar looks like an impossible challenge.
>>6399947
>“As I told Karn, after my encounter with The End I learned I am not yet at my peak. I have been studying, learning. And advancing my craft, to prepare for the day I shall face it once more.”
That’s good. He’s improving instead of giving up because threat of The End seems too much.

Yes. Lots of fun.
>Ready to see what Chaya and Ace have been battling against, and take a stand against it yourself?
Sure.
>Do you have any guesses who you think it could be, or are you in the dark about what could be causing this level of disturbance across so much of time?
I think it is because of the End. It's drawing closer to our reality. More and more people have that moment when they “see” it. Then they start channel it’s power and trouble increases. This is what Time Patrol is fighting now.
> And do you think Puddin appreciates what you've done for her, or do you think she'll still hold a grudge?
I think it made change her mind for sure.
>>
>>6400165
Yeah, after she fought Black Freeza in that form, might have made her overconfident against a weaker opponent.

They're putting in the work.
He assumed Karn lost because, without a no-kill rule in place, knows you'd either kill this guy or he'd win. And since he's here...
He's here for a good time.
Yes.
Cumber does hold back, by not going into his strongest forms immediately. He wants to ENJOY the fights. And glad you enjoyed.
>What was even the point
A VERY good question. One Chilli, thanks to Hearts, may soon have an answer to.
>>6400267
Yes, Mechikabura's no longer a ruler who rests on his laurels, but actively seeks greater power. Now that he's been humbled against a being he can't currently defeat.
It is a nice fom. Better question is, without having your scroll to know what happens next, why power her up now?
Puddin has a lot of unknown powers and abilities, thanks to her heritage. She's dangerous.
Glad you enjoyed, and the ride continues!

“Ace, what's going on?” you ask, immediately rushing over to him. Looking over his shoulder, focusing a whisper of your energy into the Time Scroll to see what he's seeing. You watch as Future Chaya's battling none other than Moro himself, yet to your shock she's actually LOSING! But it's not the Moro you know, this one looks much younger, much stronger, and radiating with a sinister power further enhancing his own strength. And not only that but his movements, you've seen them before somewhere. Ace whispering a name as he watches the fight, growing increasingly furious.
“Ultra Instinct.” he whispers, then tightens his grip on the scroll. And as he does, you get a flash of foresight. He's about to use the scroll to go after her. The vision ends, and Ace immediately start to roll it up, holding it before him.

“Ace, wait!” Chronoa calls out, but he doesn't hesitate. And neither do you, reaching out and grabbing it as well. There's the usual flash of light, and then you find yourself on a planet with extremely light gravity, it feeling far lighter than New Salda. In fact, it feels like Marron's planet, Earth. Only for you to see two surprisingly familiar faces, Krillin standing next to a member of the Galactic Patrol, with the Galactic Patrol logo on his orange gi as they're carrying Bardock's son Kakarot, who looks badly injured.
“Dammit!” Future Chaya snarls from somewhere behind you, you feeling her power spike. “KAIO-KEN!”

Turning from the trio, you see your daughter fighting Moro, who is dodging her strikes with still effortless-seeming ease.

“Come now, monkey. Is this the best you can do?” the silver-furred Moro asks, only to immediately look away from her as he senses Ace transform. The other Time Patroller taking on his Ultra Instinct form as well, his body immediately leaping over to Chaya's aid. “Where are all of you monkeys coming from? I was unaware this planet was such a zoo.”

But what do you do?
>Power up to Supreme Instinct and join the fray, three on one you should be able to take that power-stealing goat down

For several seconds you watch Moro battling the two of them, the goat dodging and weaving through their joint attacks. The two Time Patrollers, with their insane power attack, but neither can land a solid hit on Moro. His Ultra Instinct works at perfect speed to dodge their attacks, their rhythm too in sync to throw his evasion. They need something to break Moro's rhythm, something to cut his power just enough.

“That's it!” you think to yourself, clenching your fists and powering up. Ascending to your Berserker God form, kicking off the ground and dashing after the trio as Ace and Future Chaya continue to push him back. Moro gives ground, not trying to hold a position but keeps his body safe, dodging and weaving through their attacks as they press him back. And as you do, you reach out telepathically to the two of them. “Ace, Chaya. Keep his focus, I'll wear him down!”
“Karn? What are you planning?” Ace asks, also telepathically.
“Forced Spirit Fission.” you answer, feeling both their surprise. “Keep his focus on you both, I'll weaken him. Let's take him down.”

“Hell yeah! Let's do it!” your alternate timeline daughter replying, her red aura blazing higher as she powers up even more. Her and Ace continuing to attack, as you dash around them. Leveling your hands out towards Moro, focusing your energy as the Yardratian Elder Pybara had taught you.
“HAAAAAA!” you exclaim, activating your technique. Immediately feeling your energy connect to his own, drawing away the energy he'd stolen from your daughter as well as the other people of this timeline. It starts slowly at first, barely more than a trickle of energy draining a second. But as each second passes, you begin to draw more and more power away from him. And Moro quickly recognizes what's happening, his eyes turning and snapping to you.

“Hmph. You think you can take what I have stolen from me?” he asks, then with a sudden blaze of energy blasts Ace and Future Chaya back away from him. He then blinks across the distance between you both, swinging his right for your head. On reflex your left comes up, catching his hand with your forearm. Where you feel something snap, wincing in pain as his first blow breaks your arm. However, before he can continue, Chaya comes up behind him, swinging for his back. Forcing Moro to shove you back, turning and weaving past Chaya's wild swing and hitting her with a spinning back kick to send her flying away, then catching Ace's flying right fist aimed for him. The two fight back and forth, Chaya's aura blazing as she charges back into the fight. And you keep pouring on the pressure, splitting Moro from his stolen energy even as you let your broken arm hang limp at your side.

As you siphon more and more energy away from Moro, it begins gathering overhead in a massive sphere of energy. However, as you do, suddenly a familiar face flies up to you, his expression resolute.

“Forced Spirit Fission? Well done.” none other than Vegeta says, yet he's also wearing the symbol of the Galactic Patrol on his damaged armor and in that divine state beyond Blue. “You keep draining Moro's stolen ki. I'll return that ki back to where it belongs.”
“Of course, King Vegeta.” you reply, seeing your answer shock him slightly. But then he smirks, and without another word flies up to the massive ball of energy your Forced Spirit Fission has drained from Moro so far. But as you look up, see him splitting that energy. Shifting it into two different spheres, a dark, sinister ball of energy filled with that same dark power Hirudegarn was infused with, someone from the demon realm empowering him presumably. While the other is a pale blue, Vegeta sending that energy out. It flying off into space and across the planet, returning peoples' stolen strengths back to them.

And as the two of you continue taking Moro's taken powers, Ace and Chaya begin to gain the upper hand over him. His body starting to fail at dodging their attacks in time, the coordinated effort beginning to wear him down. Something Moro refuses to accept.

“HRRRRAAAAAAA!!” he suddenly bellows, gathering and releasing a massive blast of energy from himself. The Explosive Wave consumes Future Chaya and Ace instantly before either can react, the energy exploding out further and further. Obliterating the ground beneath you all as the sphere of expanding destructive energy surges towards not only you, but also Vegeta too!

But what do you do?
>Back up and stay out of that blast, keep trying to use Forced Spirit Fission to take his stolen power away
>Piercing Fist Mk II, charge THROUGH the attack and try to land a crippling blow before continuing to drain his energy

“SHIT!” you exclaim, immediately ending your Forced Spirit Fission. And immediately you draw your one good hand back, gathering your power into it. Drawing your energy in, forming that infinitesimally small piercing point, the energy forming a cone out around your fist as you begin spiraling that energy. “Vegeta, get clear!”
“What the hell are you going to do about THAT?!” he exclaims, turning and leveling both hands at the blast, firing a barrage of ki blasts. Each one infused with the power of Forced Spirit Fission, to split that energy apart. But even as he damages the Explosive Wave itself, slowing its growth out, he can't stop it. “Quick, we have to drain it, or that blast could engulf the planet!”

“No. I'm going after Moro!” you reply energy around your fist growing more and more powerful as it begins to spiral. The energy spinning faster and faster, forming a drill as you charge. Then, launching yourself forward, down towards Moro's ki at the center of that blast, you swing your fist forward. “HRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

And you dash down, the piercing, spiraling point of your attack slamming into the outer edge of the blast. And your energy shreds through the blasting wave of energy. Your energy cuts through the blasting wave as you charge. Ripping and tearing your way through his blast, your spiraling energy drilling through the blast as you dash down directly at Moro. Who, at the last second sees you coming, trying to dodge out of the way. But before he can even end his attack to dodge you've closed the gap, your Piercing Fist MkII's energy slamming into his left shoulder. You feel your ki rip apart his shoulder, slinging the rest of his body aside as you punch through. Moro's blast ending as he's damaged, the wave disappearing as you end the attack, and turn back to face him.

“Gaaaaaaah!!” he's screaming in pain, clutching his stump where his shoulder used to be as his blood pours from between his fingers. “You bastard! How?! How did you get through my attack? Your power's nothing compared to mine, you should have been erased!”
“I've seen that trick before.” you reply, leveling your one good hand at him once more. Draining his energy again as you reactivate your Forced Spirit Fission. Watching the monstrous Moro seem to start visibly aging before your eyes.
“Tch! HAAAA!” he exclaims, aura blazing as his arm and shoulder suddenly regenerates. His power dipping significantly as his body is remade whole, leaving him panting in pain and exhaustion.

“You... I won't be bested by a damned APE!” he snarls, aura blazing as he raises a hand. And a column of lava burst forth from the ground up at you. Eyes widening, you leap back, narrowly dodging the molten blast. His attack ending your concentration, Moro instantly leaping in. Dashing through the magma, it parting around him as he blurs towards you. But before he can grab you, before you can defend, suddenly another figure appears between you both. Future Chaya catching his wrist with one hand, driving her elbow into his face with the other. “KYUH!!?”

“Heh. Haaaah. Huah.” Future Chaya pants, her Apex body scorched and blasted, bloodied but still standing. “Good shot, Daddy. Sorry, he caught me off-guard. Wasn't ready for that one.”
“Dammit! Where are all you apes COMING FROM?!” Moro snarls as Ace also flies up, he and Future Chaya's auras blazing back up around them. “I-! I won't lose! Not to you, not to you damned monkeys!”

“Keep it up, we've got him on the ropes!” you shout, thrusting your one good hand towards Moro. Once again activating your Forced Spirit Fission, draining the ancient goat wizard's stolen power away once more. And at your call, both Ace and Future Chaya blaze their auras and dashing in. The duo going right back on the attack, relentlessly attacking him for over a minute. Moro tries to defend himself, but their combined power easily dwarfs and overwhelms him now. Between regenerating his damaged body, that massive blast, and all the energy you've stolen, he's nowhere nearly as powerful as he was early. You watch, constantly draining his energy as your alternate timeline daughter and her boyfriend beat the goat savagely. Then, with a final combined punch, they send him flying back. Smashing back-first into a rocky wall, his body obscured by the dust kicked up from the impact of him smashing stone. His body quickly buried as the pile of rocks crumble, collapsing atop him. But, to your surprise, the duo don't continue the attack.

“Alright Daddy, that's enough.” Future Chaya says, turning from Moro and flying back towards you. Or, rather, right to Vegeta. “Finish separating that energy, and send all the regular energy back. We'll handle this dark energy while you go down there and finish Moro off.”
“Heh. It'd be my pleasure.” he replies, scattering the rest of the regular energy back to where it is supposed to go, flying back down to Moro as the goat smashes back out of the pile of rubble, panting in exhaustion.

“What the hell? Why aren't we finishing that bastard off?” you ask them, looking between Ace and Future Chaya. “We have to kill him, before he drains any more energy!”
“That's not our job. We're not here to interfere in the natural flow of time. But to correct history from the changes others have made.” Ace says to you, his expression changing. A knowing, understanding look in his eye before turning to that mass of dark, sinister energy. Which, upon closer inspection, doesn't feel like it came from any demonic power you've encountered before. “But we're here to stop those who're changing other's pasts. Now, use that Forced Spirit Fission, send that energy back to where it's supposed to go. And we'll see who's behind this particular attack.”

“Right.” you reply, raising your hand to the ball of dark energy, dissipating that energy and sending it back towards the source. The ball of energy dashing out towards the horizon, Ace and Chaya immediately blurring after it. You hesitate, turning and watching Vegeta confront the goat man a moment before focusing, dashing after the two Time Patrollers.

You don't catch up to them, but follow at a distance. The two little more than dots in your vision, following the third dot of that dark, sinister energy. But then you feel it seemingly vanish, watch that dark energy just... Disappear. Ace and Chaya immediately stop, you come up behind the two of them and stop as well, curious.

“What happened?” you ask, Future Chaya reaching forward tentatively. Only for her hand to suddenly vanish, disappearing into thin air. As it does, you have yet again a flash of Foresight. And see a timeline where your daughter is pulled forward into the strange disturbance, vanishing entirely. So, as the vision ends you immediately reach out, grabbing her around the waist with your unbroken arm and pull her back.
“Da-? WOAH?!” she exclaims as you pull her back, only for SOMETHING to reach out through space, trying to pull her inside. It looks like some sort of dark tendrils made of nothing more than darkness and shadows, grasping out towards her and now you like tentacle fingers. “What the fuck?!”

“Get back!” Ace shouts, grabbing you both and dashing back further. Only for someTHING to follow you both, emerging from the illusion of normal space. It looks like some sort of quadrupedal beast of shadows and darkness, with a mass of tentacles above its shoulders and several mouths gnashing hungrily. Making strange, impossible sounds across every frequency of sound, speaking words you cannot begin to comprehend. But as the beast seemingly running on air charges towards the three of you, you know you have to stop this... THING.
“HRRAAAAA!” you roar, drawing upon your full Berserker God form's power. Releasing your daughter, letting Ace continue to pull her as you gather your energy in your one good hand. “FINAL! SHINE! ATTACK!!”

But as your wave of emerald energy strikes the being, to your shock, your attack does... Nothing. Passing through the monster as if it isn't even there, yet it's tentacles reach out, wrapping around you. Grabbing your arms, your legs, your torso, even your head, pulling you down towards its many mouths. More and more tentacles coming up, fully engulfing you. And the last thing you hear before everything vanishes into that darkness is your alternate timeline daughter crying your name desperately.

“KAAAAAAARN!!”

Moro damaged Karn’s arm and now it happened to him.
>How did you get through my attack? Your power's nothing compared to mine, you should have been erased!”
Skill issue. It seems Karn uses his energy with better efficiency. Perhaps it is because Moro is a wizard, who steals more power, to get stronger and overwhelm opponent with it. Karn is a warrior, who practiced his entire life getting the most out of the Ki energy and strength that he had.

>Possibly. You'll have to wait until next time to see if it smells inside this thing. Or if INSIDE it is even still in this reality at all.
This makes me wonder if Karn will see something like this after getting caught by eldritch monster. By then, he’ll be far away from where Chaya and Ace from the future are.

Hearts is using a time scroll that leads to an alternate Time Nest where our time scroll exists as an unprotected copy.
We call it the double timeline reacharound.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 259 Epilogue-

AGE 781, PLANET EARTH

“KAAAAAARN!!” your girlfriend and rival Chaya screams as her father's dragged into the eldritch horror's maw, immediately powering up to her absolute limits. “HRRRRAAAA! GIVE! HIM!! BACK!!”
“Wait!” you exclaim, only for her to dash towards it. The creature seemingly growing larger by the second, but also somehow simultaneously getting farther away. But it's tentacles lash out towards Chaya, who copies Cumber's technique. Creating a pair of Ki Claws, trying to slash through the dark, shadowy tentacles reaching for her. Unfortunately for her, they do cut through. But, unfortunately, that doesn't seem to AFFECT them, as they quickly bind her as well. Immobilizing her, rendering her unable to move after only two seconds. And as you watch, it begins drawing her towards its mouths. A different mouth than the one that devoured Karn, and you realize you have to act! But before you can even speak, even think of HOW to save her, your body responds. Ultra Instinct reacting to the danger, and in a blink you're now above the being, Chaya in your arms.

“Ace...?” she asks, blinking in shock, then looking back down. The creature then howls, each mouth howling at a different frequency, all of them all at once. And, for just a split-instant, your mind brushes against something unknowable. But, again, Ultra Instinct preserves you, moving back away from the thing. Pulling Chaya with you, until you stop and she flies out of your arms. “Dammit! How do we stop it? You got a plan?”
“Yeah. You go back.” you tell her, handing her back the scroll. Seeing her eyes widen in shock and dawning horror.
“Oh no. No you fucking don't! You're not-!” she starts, only for you to lean over, kissing her deeply for a second. Shutting up her argument, then when you pull back the scroll's in her hand. “They can track my time signature through the prime Time Scroll. You can't be followed, not after your original timeline was purged. You go get help. I'll keep this thing here, or at least stay with it so we can get your father. Now, go.”

And without waiting for her reply you dash back towards the monster, which paradoxically seems to be growing larger and grander, but also getting further away somehow. All while it continues walking on air towards you. It sees you coming and releases some sort of war cry as you hear Chaya disappearing back, returning to the Time Nest for reinforcements. Leaving this being from beyond to you.

“Alright, ugly. Come and get me.” you say, aura flaring wildly as you focus on drawing it's attention, keeping it focused on you and only you. You are Ace, Time Patroller, Saiyan beyond God, wielder of Ultra Instinct and Chaya's boyfriend, and currently fighting a power beyond your comprehension. It is simultaneously something with no energy you can sense, but also has the greatest energy reading of any being you've ever encountered. Higher than even Aeos, Chronoa, even Mechikabura himself pales in comparison to this being. But something's off, as if it CAN'T bring its full power to bear. Almost as if something's holding it back, keeping it from fully crossing over into this reality from the beyond it comes from. “What the hell even are-? WOAH!?”

Suddenly you shout, exclaiming in shock as your body automatically dodges a tentacle you thought was still quite a distance away. Space itself seems to be distorting around it, leaving you unable to trust your eyes in regards to distance.

“Tch. Okay, focus.” you say to yourself, closing your eyes. Letting your body react as it will. You can feel yourself moving, flipping and weaving around, yet your body doesn't ever go on the offensive. Simply dodging the creature, and you can start to feel the beast's annoyance. And, opening your eyes as it roars once more, you feel your blood run cold as it opens every mouth, gathering its unfamiliar energy in all of them all at once. “Shit! I have to stop that!”

Gathering your energy in both hands, you dash around the being, firing powerful shots of energy at the energy that creature has gathered. Your ki and that being's energy canceling one another out, hitting all but one before the creature fires. The beast's body turning impossibly, firing that massive blast at you in a wide, cone-like blast of shadowed energy meant to engulf you entirely.

“Kamehameha!” you roar quick, throwing both hands together towards your right side, then thrusting forward. Unleashing an azure beam at the massive blast, energies clashing. Your energy slams into that dark power, your divine power and its otherworldly strength canceling one another out. Your beams ending simultaneously, only for your body to start weaving through its swarming tentacles once more. “Dammit. Now what?”

“Ace. You have to go after Karn.” Mechikabura's voice suddenly calls, his voice coming through your earbud. “We can't track where he went, wherever he's at, I can't find him.”
“How the hell am I supposed to know which one ate him?” you reply aloud, as the being's physical form continues to distort and shift. Its body not confined to traditional three-dimensional proportions, even having two additional legs for a couple seconds before it reverts back to being a quadruped like it was as it first appeared. “I can't sense Karn's energy whatsoever.”

“Don't trust your senses, trust your instincts.” Mechikabura replies, but you can hear the hesitation in his tone. He's clearly not sure this will work, but also has no other ideas. But trusting in you, in your instincts to retrieve Karn.
“Ace, please! You gotta find him!” Chaya calls to you, desperately. “Please. I can't-! I can't lose him again.”
“I'll find him.” you reply, weaving past another tentacle, then another. “I promise, Chaya.”

But you have no idea how you'll do this, how you'll find him. But you promised, so you're going to do it. No matter what it takes.

“Alright, Karn. How do I find you?” you mutter to yourself, your body weaving around the tentacles lashing at you. More and more angrily, erratically as your body moves faster and faster around them. However, as you do, its tentacles seem to grow larger and larger, their number seeming to multiply as well. Your body keeps dodging them, but their swiping grips getting closer and closer. So, you close your eyes, fully entrusting everything to your instincts. Your entire being focused on finding Karn, on fulfilling your promise to Chaya. And then you feel it, your body suddenly surging forward. Your being flipping, spinning and twisting through the air as your body moves, and right as you open your eyes, everything disappears. Your eyes filled with absolute nothingness, before suddenly that nothing becomes something, and you see it. See what Mechikabura had vaguely explained to you, and as you stare at the impossible being, feel something in your mind just... Snap. And as it does, you realize something. This... THING. Its presence feels... Familiar.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 259 Epilogue End-
>>
Goddamnit Ace, stop acting like some kinda videogame protagonist! That's our schtick!
>>
>>6402635
Ha, but I mean... Kinda IS his schtick. And Ace's relevance to The End and why it feels familiar to him might be revealed later. Chronoa knows, but she hasn't said anything to anyone or even hinted at any such knowledge.
>>
>>6402706
She DID wish him into existence to fix Time or something. I thought with Karn's influence and Ace defecting meant that wish was a bust but maybe his purpose is just yet to be fulfilled...
>>
>>6402706
Hm...if the Berserker Soul and Divine Dragon Force could survive the erasure of their timeline, why not other entities? To that end, is it possible Ace's soul is starting to resonate with his counterpart from a prior timeline that tried and failed to stand up to The End?
>>
24 hours to go! I hope you're ready for your first real eldritch taste!
>>6402710
Quite possibly. But a better question: WHERE did Xeno Shenron summon Ace from? If he was pulled from a timeline, it would have appeared as a distortion in a time scroll.
>>6402717
It is possible. Dumplin and Chronoa both have survived multiple reality erasures, after all.

>Chaya screams as her father's dragged into the eldritch horror's maw,
If Karn was using multiform technique in this moment, and one Karn would be pulled into the maw and potentially outside of reality, while second Karn would remain near Chaya, would this tore Karn’s soul apart? If multiform user’s copies were not in the same universe or even the same timeline, would it be lethal or would it create some paradox?
>tentacles lash out towards Chaya, who copies Cumber's technique. Creating a pair of Ki Claws
Did she do it spontaneously on a spot without prior training? If yes, then she is really good.
>But, unfortunately, that doesn't seem to AFFECT them, as they quickly bind her as well. Immobilizing her, rendering her unable to move after only two seconds.
Hax. This creature is not playing by the rules of this universe. It ignores the ones he does not like. It is like Hirudegarn but without weakness of being targetable during attack.
> I'll keep this thing here, or at least stay with it so we can get your father. Now, go.”
How do you think Meloka and Towa will receive the news about what happened to Karn? I bet nobody is in a rush to tell them.
>>6402611
>It is simultaneously something with no energy you can sense, but also has the greatest energy reading of any being you've ever encountered. Higher than even Aeos, Chronoa, even Mechikabura himself pales in comparison to this being.
The weakest of Hadar’s minions. Our chances don’t look optimistic.
>But something's off, as if it CAN'T bring its full power to bear. Almost as if something's holding it back, keeping it from fully crossing over into this reality from the beyond it comes from.
Intriguing.
>>6402612
>“Ace. You have to go after Karn.” Mechikabura's voice suddenly calls, his voice coming through your earbud. “We can't track where he went, wherever he's at, I can't find him.”
I’m worried now. Where is Karn?
>>6402706
>Ha, but I mean... Kinda IS his schtick.
Will we control Karn next episode? Or is this Ace time? Our new protagonist.
>And Ace's relevance to The End and why it feels familiar to him might be revealed later. Chronoa knows, but she hasn't said anything to anyone or even hinted at any such knowledge.
Why would she omit something that seems to have such importance? I can’t wait to find out.
>>6402892
>Quite possibly. But a better question: WHERE did Xeno Shenron summon Ace from? If he was pulled from a timeline, it would have appeared as a distortion in a time scroll.
I was convinced that Xeno Shenron just created him on the spot. Ace did not exist prior, but I I was very wrong. Now there is mystery of Ace’s origin.
>>6400295
>Puddin has a lot of unknown powers and abilities, thanks to her heritage. She's dangerous.
I know Mechikabura is angry at her. While she stole the time scroll, she at the same time displayed a lot of skill. Maybe she might be someone who could be help against The End.
>>
>>6402612
>as you open your eyes, everything disappears. Your eyes filled with absolute nothingness, before suddenly that nothing becomes something, and you see it. See what Mechikabura had vaguely explained to you, and as you stare at the impossible being
When it comes to finding Karn in this insane place. I think Ace might be able to do it.
>>
Soon

>>6403377
Best not to consider it and ensure it doesn't happen.
Perhaps. Or perhaps she had a teacher?
It is not of reality, and doesn't follow its rules.
Absolutely not.
Yeah, trying to step beyond the veil and its consequences is interesting. Almost as if something or someone's done their best to insulate reality from the things beyond.
Good question. Better question is where ISN'T Karn? And the answer is inside reality.
You'll still be Karn.
That's a bit of a cut on Xenoverse lore. As you enter character creator, Trunks making the wish, Shenron says:
"Someone summons you, from a land far away... Brave warrior! Now, come forth!"
Shenron didn't CREATE Ace, he summoned him.
Puddin is powerful, that's for sure.
>>6403379
Unfortunately, something else found Ace before you.

this session is going to be another mindfuck, I can feel it
