It's the year 20XX. The discovery and creation of Minovsky Particles has allowed resulted the rapid advance of countless technologies the likes of which the world had never seen before. However, no field was more effected by the discovery than the field of "Mecha Model Building".Through introducing Minovsky Particles into already existing VR Boards, humans were able to finally make the dream of countless Mecha Otaku a reality: Bringing the models they build as a hobby to life...so they can brawl! Thanks to this, an entirely new hobby has emerged. One where people of all ages take their models into game stores, schools clubs, and even international tournaments across the world. Where they bring their models and battle against each other in high octane, emotionally charged battles, where the winner takes all! Their reasons for fighting are as wide as the ocean. But every single person, called Battlers, shares one thing: Their passion for the sport, the love for their hobby, and the drive to prove themselves the best of the best. And here, in this Quest, you will be one of them.>TL;DR: This is a Quest set in a world similar to the Gundam Build Fighters Universe. However, instead of it only being about Gundams and Mecha from Gundam Series, this is more akin to a Super Robot Wars Universe. Which means both Real and Super Robots from across time are part of this Setting and able to be used in battle. >Note: I am no way a Loremaster in regards to Mecha Anime/Manga/Whatever. I have seen quite a few Mecha Animes, read a few Mecha Manga, and played through at least two SRW games while reading Let’s Play of about 4. I know some things but I don’t know a lot. So, forgive me if I have to Wiki up certain bots that I may not know of.>This Setting is technically “Original” in that there isn’t really a version of it in any kind of Official Media. However, it’s still not and in Fanfic territory as the world is similar to the Gundam Build Fighters World. I.E. It’s basically Heaven for all the characters from various Real Robot and Super Robot Animes/Mangas/Whatever. So, don’t expect this Quest to get super-duper dark or anything like that. It’s gonna be Shonen Style from start to finish.>Basic Rules: We’re primarily going to be using 1d100, Bo3, with bonuses based on narrative circumstances. Higher = Better with DC usually being there but hidden; I’ll keep the votes open for about 20 or so minutes; Write ins are allowed, but might not always be used; No specific time when I'll run. I'll just do it when I feel like it.
>The first two votes will be to determine your character’s gender and age. Mainly to determine romance possibilities for the MC. While there won’t be anything NSFW, expect there to be plenty of fanservice as expected of an Anime. The most we’re gonna get is Ecchi, not full Hentai. Anyway, the votes. >Gender is first. Note: I primarily write Straight relationships, so the MC will be locked to Romances of the opposite Gender when it comes to options. >Male>Female

>Next, Age. There are going to be three possible options. The only thing this choice will affect is how your character will be seen/treated in the narrative and how romances will be open/evolve as the story goes on. As a note on romances: Harems are possible, but will require work to keep up.>High Schooler (15 to 17); Your character is around 16 to 17. You’re still in high school and haven’t gotten your full freedom yet. While romances can get serious, they will kind of remain in the “High School Romance” phase. >College Student (18 to 22); Your character is around 18 to 22. You’re in college by this point, and have full freedom over how you live your life. This is the “default” level for romances. They can get serious and most will be out of the “High School Romance” phase. However, your pool of options will be limited by your College setting.>Adult (23+); Your character is a grown adult. You are completely out of school and out in the working world. Same as College, but you have a wider pool thanks to being in society.

Alright. Adult it is.
>Okay. Since female was chosen, the next question is going to be about your figure/body. Again, this is mainly going to be cosmetic and effect some narrative stuff. It will have very few mechanical effects. And, yes, Cup Size will be described because Anime.>Average: You have an average body. You're attractive, but not in a stand out sort of way. A to B Cup Breasts.> Petite: You're shorter and thinner than the average woman. You're only a few inches below the average woman, but it's still noticeable. You are Flat Chested.>Hourglass: You have a very "feminine" body. Anyone can look at you and tell you're a woman and a very attractive one at that. D to DD Cup breasts.>Shortstack: Rather than do something with your height, your "Growth Spurt" went completely into your chest and hips. Because of this, most people have a hard time telling your true age at a glance, until they see your..."features". DD to E Cup Breasts.

Okay. Hourglass it is.
>Alright. This will be the last question in regards to your character's personality or body type. After this, we'll get into stuff about your connection to the Super Robot Battles and Mecha Modeling. Then we can start the Quest proper.>When it comes to your "Type" of character/personality, what are you? This will not force you into any specific roles/choices, but it will affect your personality and how your POV is written.>Tomboy: Either because of upbringing, or your own personality, you act way more "manly" than "girly". It's not that you're unaware of your femininity. It's kind of hard to forget that with how big your "curves" are. But you've just never "acted like a girl".>Gloomy: You're what some would call a "gloomy girl". It's not that you're necessarily gloomy or sad. It's just that...you're kind of introverted and keep to yourself. You wear dark clothes and generally have a vibe of "mysterious girl who will run if you try to talk to her" about you. Which...may or may not be true. It's never stopped you from reaching adulthood, but it's been...a trial.>Genki: You're an extremely extroverted, very energetic girl who can make friends with just about anybody. You have no issues talking to people who you've just met, and are always the one to drag your friends to get togethers. You're the life of the party and you know it.>Mature: You're a very "mature" person. You try to act with decorum, always try to keep a straight face, and essentially try to be the perfect example of a "functioning adult". Whether that's actually true is up to debate. But that's the vibe you try to go for when you meet with others.>Kuudere: You're not good at expressing yourself. It's not you don't have emotions. It's just that it's hard for you to show them. You tend to keep much of your feelings bottled up, so it's hard for people to really read you. Though, some people can see through that. If they know you well enough.
>>6419044>Gloomy: You're what some would call a "gloomy girl". It's not that you're necessarily gloomy or sad. It's just that...you're kind of introverted and keep to yourself. I'll leave it open for at least ten more minutes. If we get no other votes, I'll go with Gloomy.

Okay. Since we have three votes for three different options, I'll roll 1d3 and see what we get.1 = Gloomy2 = Mature3 = Genki

>Mature it is. We'll use Pic Related as what the MC looks like for now. If anyone has a better/more fitting pic, feel free to post it and I'll see about changing. So, you are a Mature Adult Woman with an Hourglass figure and DD Cup Breasts. There are probably quite a few people who get surprised when you show up to fight in a Super Robot Wars Battle, or as they're colloquially called, Mecha Battles. Most probably wouldn't think you're a Battler at first glance.Which raises the question...why are you a Battler? There's gotta be some reason you go out and engage with this hobby at your age. What is it?>Passion: You have a burning passion for the hobby. It doesn't matter what age you are, what your gender is, or anything like that. As long as you've got the passion and love for the hobby, that's all that matters!>Money: Mecha Battles are big. People use them to solve their issues, play fun games, but most importantly: Do tournaments. Tournaments where cash prizes are offered. You'd be a fool to pass that up.>A Rival and a Promise: There's someone you made a promise to. Someone who you fought a long time ago. The two of you never settled who was the better Battler between the two of you. And, when you were forced to separate, you promised that you would meet again and fight each other one last time.>No Reason: You have no particular reason for being a Battler. Now, we come to the primary question in regards to your status as a Battler: Your Model. In the world of Mecha Battles, the fact that anyone can use almost any Model for battle has naturally caused specific Categories of Mecha to be labeled and qualified. This is a combination of the natural inclination of people to want to label things, and because people started realizing that certain matchups were kind of unfair. The VR Boards used to fight these battles can be tweaked to allow all combatants to be on equal footing, but certain battles with certain Mechs were simply unfair to one side. Thus, three separate categories of Mecha Battles, Models, and Battlers have been created. Each one has their own strengths and weaknesses, but all are valid in Mecha Battling.Real Robots: The Real Robots are the Mechas built to be "realistic" and "grounded". They tend to come from series that have a greater focus on a "War is Hell" plot. This category includes most Gundam series.Strengths: A wide variety of Mecha that are extremely modular. It's really easy to customize them to your liking. Not to mention most are very fast. Usually way faster than Super Robots.Weakness: They're much more fragile than the average Super Robot. Their armor usually can't stand up to a strong enough hit. Not to mention most of their small arms fire can't pierce a Super Robot's hide.Super Robots: Mecha that are made to be larger than life. Called such because their powers are similar to Super Heroes, Super Robots are usually big, bulky, and have esoteric power sources. They tend to run the gamut in terms of series, but include things like Mazinger and Getter Robo.Strengths: Most Super Robots are very, very tough. Their armor can withstand most small arms fire, and even heavy arms will have trouble doing significant damage without a direct hit. Not to mention their esoteric power sources give them the edge when it comes to special powers/abilities.Weakness: They're usually really slow and very easy targets. While a Gundam may not be able to withstand a single blow from a Super Robot, the Super Robot will have trouble hitting them in the first place.Hybrids: Naturally, people wanted to find ways to fuse the sturdiness and esoteric powers of Super Robots, with the speed and modularity of Real Robots. Thus, you have the Hybrid Category. A Category for any Mecha that is a mixture of Super and Real Robot parts.Strengths: They can have all the strengths of both Super and Real Robots, along with entirely new powers never before seen.Weaknesses: They are DIFFICULT to build and maintain due to the fact that you have to get all the parts to fit and work together when they weren't originally meant to. And if you do it wrong, you can end up with all the Weaknesses of Super and Real Robots as well.
So, the question is...which one are you?>Real Robot Battler (Start with a Real Robot Model)>Super Robot Battler (Start with a Super Robot Model)>Hybrid (Start with a Hybrid Robot Model)
>>6419070>Real Robot Battler (Start with a Real Robot Model)

Using your arms, you hold your boobs up, testing their weight to see if anything had changed. When you were younger, you were the smallest in your class and you figured that's how it always would be. But then puberty hit you in high school and, next thing you knew, you had gone up three cup sizes within a few years. The Huckebein. Specifically the 008L version, which was the start of the line. Firmly in the "Real Robot" Category, it was created as an original Mecha in the SRW OG series, it has the Nickname "Vanishing Trooper" due to the history behind its creation. Unlike most Real Robots, it's powered by something rather crazy: A Black Hole Engine. Which allows it to use it's ultimate attack, the Black Hole Launcher. The sound of the weapon suggest that simply firing it will be enough to give you victory 100% of the time. But, in the world of Mecha Battles, Black Holes are not the end-all, be-all of battles. When it comes to armaments, it, of course, as the typical Vulcan Cannon in its head. >>6419443>>6419448Okay. Going with this Loadout.
You went with a sensible and pragmatic loadout with your Model. a 4-Tube Missile Launcher for heavy ordinance, a Magna Beam Rifle for medium to long range engagements, and a Plasma Sword for when it was time for melee. And your Special Equipment was the Afterimage Generator. In case you needed to trick your enemy or misdirect them into thinking you're elsewhere. It, of course, also came with the Black Hole Launcher. That's a given. However, you could only use it once per battle, so you tried not to see it as part of your standard arsenal. Else you may be tempted to use it as soon as the battle started.Chuckling, you walk into the kitchen and get started on breakfast. Gift from a coworker. Alright.
You still remember the bright look in his eyes when you beat him in your first match. You still don't know if he went easy on you, but either way it's a happy memory. You hum while you eat your eggs and rice, your eyes continuing to go back to the Model. Under normal circumstances, you would've just left it there and gone about your day. But...something about today is different. You haven't been to a Mecha Battle in a while...and you don't have anything to do today. You're basically on paid vacation for now thanks to all your hard work at the office (specifically, they had to give you vacation or else). So...why not bring it out for a battle? For old times sake?Mind made up, you finish your breakfast then pull out your phone and look for a nearby spot that's doing Mecha Battles. Not as in, uh," he stumbles over his words, looking away as his eyes try not to stare at your chest. You giggle and wave your hand, "I understand what you meant. I can assure you. There's no need to be so tense.""R-Right, sorry," he coughs, into his hand and straightens his stance, "So, what brings you here? Are you a new student?"You shake your head, "No, I'm just passing by. Specifically, I'm looking for a place to do some Mecha Battles. It's been a while since I've done one, and I figured this would be a good place to get back into the swing of things. Do you know if there's a club around I can go to?"Isa frowns, his expression darkening as he sighs, "I do but...it might not be a good idea to go there right now. Especially if you're new.""Hmm? What do you mean?""I mean this," he holds up his other hand and uncurls his fingers to show you what's inside.
He shows you a broken Gunpla Model, specifically a GM form the Original Gundam series. Though it's all beat and missing its arms and legs."Is...Is this your Model?" you ask, immediately wondering what happened. He nods in response, "There three separate clubs here in Raijin; Rai, Brando, and Hekate. They're supposed to be Rivals, with each one keeping the others in check. But, recently, Brando started to get really aggressive. Their members would go around challenging other clubs' members to Mecha Battles. Which was fine, but they would only ever do fights where the opponent's Models would sustain real damage. Doing that once or twice might be fine, but they did it so much that it actively harmed the other clubs."Rai and Hekate are still around, but they're being strongarmed out by Brando. Doesn't help that their leader has some kind of crazy Mech that no one's been able to beat before. It's kind of sucking the fun out of it all.">That's horrible! Why hasn't anyone told the staff about this?!>Sounds like those Brando members need a good lesson in manners. Can he take you to who did this to his GM?>Well, that's upsetting. "That's horrible!" you say, taking his hand in yours while staring at his damaged Model. You may not be that interested in this Hobby, but even you know that smashing up someone's Model for no reason other than to hurt them is a dick move. You look up at Isa and ask, "Why hasn't anyone told the staff about this? Surely this isn't allowed?""It's a technicality," Isa says, gently pulling his hand away and shrugging, "Mecha Battles are allowed as long as both participants agree to it. They are allowed to set whatever rules they want, and the rules have to be abided by afterwards. The problem isn't that Brando's breaking the rules, it's that they're working within them in a way that makes things suck for everyone else. Them fighting people isn't the issue. It's the fact that they only ever fight to destroy or damage the opponent's Mechs. Most people aren't willing to go the staff about it, cause they don't know if they can really punish them. The leaders of the other Clubs are working to get a ban on too many battles like these, but by the damage is already being done."You frown, feeling a bit of righteous anger grow within you. Why are these guys taking this so seriously? It's just a game. They don't have to take it this far. In fact...you think they need a reality check.Smiling, you look up at Isa and say, "Hey, Isa? Think you could take them to who did this to your GM? I think he could use a good lesson in manners."Isa holds up both of his hands and shakes his head, "Woah, there, Ms. Robinson. As much as I appreciate the offer, I can't in good conscious let a newbie go into a Mecha Fight when she has little experience.">Pout and point out that you've got experience. If we can find out how they fight, we have a better chance at beating them," you say, while gently placing your hands together in front of you, "If they're gonna play dirty, then so are we...at least, as far as is sensible given this entire situation."Isa hums, the gears in his head turning. Then, after a few seconds, he finally sighs and says, "Well, it's clear you're not gonna let this go easy. So, sure. Maybe if you find out what you're up against, you'll let it go. >>6419824>>6419826---Getting information wasn't easy. Not because Isa couldn't take you to people who could give you what you wanted, but because most of them didn't want to talk about it. Not out of fear or anything. More because they didn't like the idea of an "outsider" coming in and getting involved with their business. They weren't sure if they could trust you and it creating a difficult barrier to get through. So, you used the thing you've had for a while that help you "open barriers": Your body.It wasn't anything too egregious. You weren't about to do anything untowards with anyone over this. But you weren't afraid to "push" a little. Leaning close and batting your eyelashes here, grabbing a boy's arm and "accidentally" having him grope one of the girls, or sitting down on a boy's lap and leaning back into him. Granted, those tactics only worked on the boys, but that was really all you needed. You got the last bit of info after leaning forward and showing off some cleavage for the last guy, before joining with Isa to go over your findings.

The guy's name is Yoichi Sanjuro. He's just one of the random club members part of Brando who goes around fighting anyone he can beat. The main thing about him that everybody remembers, other than him being a dick, is his Model. It's a Zaku-II from the main Gundam Series, but modified to be a ranged monster. The thing is outfitted with two Beam Rifles, two Rocket Launchers, and multiple Anti-Mech Mines that he leaves in his wake. His general tactic is to fight in terrain where it's hard to spot his Zaku, then shoot the enemy to pieces. If they try to get close, he drops his mines to keep them back. However, he apparently has next to no melee capabilities. Or really any way to defend from taking a hit. So, if you can manage to hit him, he'll be hurt quite a bit. After learning these things, Isa pulls you aside and says, "Alright. We got our info. So, what now?">Now, you find the guy and beat him down.>Let's start making noise. Get him to come to us. What club does Isa think you should join?>Write in...

>>6419865>>6419854>>6419844Alright. Let's join a Club.
"Now, we start making noise. Get him to come to us by showing off that I'm a new rising star. What club should I join?" you ask, feeling a bit giddy at the idea.Unfortunately, Isa shakes his head, "You can't. You're not a student here. So, you can't officially join a club. But, we maybe able to convince one of the leaders to let you in as an Adjutant or Assistant or something. As long it's not in any official capacity. Or, you could stay as a free party and just start fighting people. If you do well enough, Brando may try to scout you for their team."You nod your head, "Alright. Still doesn't answer my question."Isa rolls his eyes, "Right. So, I'm on team Rai. Our leader's pretty chill, so she might let you in without any issues. And we are short on staff. Brando hit us pretty hard. Hekate is also an option, but they're a bit...elitist? Not sure if that's the right word, but they're really big on making sure you've got 'the right stuff' before letting you join. Leader's a real stickler for the rules. If you're just looking to help out, join Rai. If you want something a bit more permanent, go for Hekate.">Rai it is! You just need a foot in the door.>Let's try Hekate. Isa brought you to Rai's Club Room, which was essentially an old closet that the school gave to them. They had since renovated it into an actual club room, complete with a space for Model Kits, a workbench to build and repair them, and even a small VR Board for battles or to test out new builds. There was a small table in the center where five of the club members were gathered around. Three of them were guys, with the last two being girls. As you and Isa stepped into the room, the guys immediately surrounded him and pulled him to the side. They tried to whisper but you heard what they were talking about. Apparently rumors about you and Isa were already spreading around, and they were wondering how he "bagged such a hottie."You giggled internally but focused on your reason for coming here. At least you tried to, Until one of the girls stepped around the table and got up close and personal with you, pressing her chest against yours......which wasn't too much of a problem for you cause, she was...well...flat. You're not saying that's wrong nor trying to make her feel bad. But when compared to you it was...very obvious.
"So," she started, eyes locked on to yours, "you're the woman who's be hanging around my junior, huh? Hmm..."Isa separates from the guys and walks over to you, "Hey, boss. Robinson, this is the leader of the Rai Mecha Battle Club: Kubo Anju. Kubo, this is Robinson. She's a friend who wants to join up and-""Upupup," Kubo holds a finger up to silence Isa. She doesn't take her eyes off you as she says, "If she wants to join, then she'll have to pass the test first.""Come on, boss.""No! Everyone's gotta do it!" Kubo backs up and crosses her arms while glaring at you, "First question, newbie: Do you have a Model?""Uh, yes.""What kind?""A Huckebein 008L.""Have you fought before?""A few times. Not many."She hums, continuing to look you up and down. Then she shrugs and lowers her arms, "Alright. Good enough. You can hang around and, if anyone asks, you're part of the club.""Thank you so much," you say, bowing to her. Then you look over at Isa with a smile, "You were right about it being easy.""Yeah," he then turns to Kubo and says, "Listen, boss. Robinson here wants to help us with our Brando problem. She wants to go fight Yoichi and get him back for my GM."Kubo's eye light up, "Well why didn't you say so before?! I'm all in on that! I know where the guy is, and we can get a Battle set up ASAP. What do you say, newbie?"

Or you can have one of us use our personal Model.""If you choose me, I'll have to go for one of the basic GMs. Unless you're willing to wait for me to fix up my own. Which, I should go do now," Isa says, walking over to one of the work benches."And I'll only fight you with a basic GM," Kubo says, pointing at her chest with her thumb, "My own personal Model's a bit...special. Wouldn't be right to challenge a newbie with it. Anyone else willing to help out?"The second Kubo said that, the rest of the guys all offered themselves up for a match. From what you saw, one had another GM, one had a Guntank, and the last guy actually had what looked like a Super Robot of some kind. Though it's not one you recognize. The other guys look discouraged, but Kubo is quick to push them away and tell them to get back to working on their own stuff. The other girl in the room has remained silent, only focusing on looking at a few unopened Model Kits. You're led over to the VR Board by Kubo while Isa continues working on his own Model. You watch from a distance, seeing him take some parts from other Kits and begin to piece them together. He's actually rather good at it. By the time you've got your Huckebein all set up, he's standing up from the bench and saying, "Done! There you go, Junker. Good as new.""Junker?" you ask, watching Isa as he walks over to the VR Board and sits on the other side. The Board itself is basically a small, rectangular table. On either side are small consoles with twin joysticks, a landing for your Model, and a few buttons to let you switch between your weapons."It's my name for him. He's been with me for a while, and I plan to keep using him. Haven't really customized him much though. Just gave him a few more Melee options but little else," he says while sitting down. Kubo reaches down and presses the button to turn it on fully. Within moment, a wave of green particles expands outwards from the center of the board as a terrain is formed before you. You spot a large, flat, grassland waiting for you as your Model is scanned and recreated before you.Isa shouts as his Model appears, "Let's go, Junker!"That's probably his Battle Cry. "Let's devour them all, darling~," you say while focusing on the VR Board as it slowly fills out.---A second later, you're "on the battlefield inside" Velt. Of course, you're not actually on the battlefield. But it "feels" like it enough, that you basically "are" in a way. Before you in a large grassland with few hills blocking any line of sight. You can hear the wind whistling and nearly smell the morning dew. You're not sure how this works, to be honest. Something about the Minovsky Particles being able to connect to people's senses and make things feel real or something like that. But, it certainly helps make you perform better in combat. Much easier to maneuver when it feels like you've got full control over mech."Hey, Robinson? Can you hear me?" your Comm-Link goes active and you hear Isa's voice on the other end."Loud and clear," you say back, keeping your voice light and airy, "Though, should you really be talking to the enemy right now?""It's just training. No need to take it so seriously. Besides, even with this handicap, I'm not gonna make it easy for you," he sounds confident. Which you like. After a few seconds he speaks up, "Okay. So, boss set things up to where the first one to be "Shot Down" loses. This basically means you can't fight or move your Mech anymore. We don't have the 'Realistic Damage' settings on, so no need to worry about any damage to your real Model. The rest I'll leave up to you to figure out. "You know, this isn't my first time getting tangled up with a handsome man," you say, moving forward and continuing to strike at him with your sword."Yes, I know. You've mentioned how you've done Mecha Battling before," he responds, blocking your downward strike with a horizontal guard, "I imagine that you've been in a few melee engagements.""Maybe, but I'm not talking about that. I mean something a bit more...intimate~.""Wh-What are you-" An opening! You break the clash, duck down and cut upwards along his torso. You leave a deep, burning gash right across the GM's chest. You follow it up with another slice, though this one isn't as deep as he's able to recover a bit and back up. "Damn it!" he shouts, managing to get enough distance to pull out his Beam Rifle. He aims and fires, but you're able to mostly dodge around his shots. Some hits skim across your shoulder pieces, but nothing lands a good hit. You've got the advantage here. Alright. One last thing to try; your Afterimage feature. This thing is probably gonna be one of the primary things that's gonna let you survive against Yoichi. If you can deploy it at the right moment, you could get a good hit on him and maybe put him down in one blow. You fly forward, making it look like you're just planning to charge in and end this in one blow. Isa's GM aims is gun where your going to be and you hear him shout, "Gotcha! You shouldn't just do the sam-"He fires and the beam LOOKS like it hit you. But you've already moved out of the way, leaving behind an afterimage after activating your boosters right afterwards. You boost right behind him and, with one last strike, cut his remaining arm and head off in one swing. Even before his GM hits the ground, you see a pop-up in front of your face that simply states "VICTORY!"
---You find yourself out of the cockpit of Velt and back in the real world. Looking across from you, you see Isa with his head down and a grin on his face. He lifts his head up and nods, "Not bad, Robinson. You've certainly got some skills.""I'll say! She totally dominated you, dude!" Kobu says, coming over and putting her arm around your shoulder, "She'll be able to handle Yoichi just fine!""Don't go giving her a swelled head, boss. Besides, it's mainly cause she kept saying all that weird stuff during the fight," Isa shakes his head with a frown, "It worked to psyche me out, but I'm not sure if it'll work on Yoichi.""Dude, you fought Yoichi. You know he's a jerk. It's precisely because of that, that her fake flirting will work on him," Nobu backs you up."I'm just saying," Isa holds his hands up.>Agree with Nobu. >>6420495>>Tease Isa some more. Who said any of your flirting was fake?
>>6420501You're in your early 20s, so you're still a bit young for that. But that doesn't mean you don't/can't act like that.

>>6420507>Nobu...Sure, let's go with that.>>6420500Anyway, flirting it is.
While you understand that they're trying to have a serious conversation, and you are glad that Nobu (one of the other boys in the club, he told you his name but you never really committed it to memory until now) is backing you up. However, you just can't resist teasing Isa a bit more."Oh, that's really cute Isa," you say, standing up and walking around the table to be on his side."What is?" he asks, watching you like a hawk. He does nothing to stop you, though, as you walk around until you're right behind him. This close you're able to admire how broad he is. His muscles don't show through the sweatshirt, but you can tell they're their. Moving quickly you lean forward and throw your arms around his neck...while making sure to press your boobs against his hard back."That any of that was fake~," you giggle into his ear while leaning particularly close to him.Isa's is frozen for longer than you expected. Then he quickly grabs his GM off the VR Board and pulls himself away from you. You catch the briefest hints of a blush on his face before he heads out the room saying, "I-I-I'll be waiting for when you're ready to go fight Yoichi."
>Keep forgetting that Kubo is the bosses name. Not Kobu. You watch him go, doing everything in your power to stop yourself from laughing. Looking at the rest of the room, you see the guys trying their best not to look at you...but they're all as red as tomatoes. "Hey, Robinson," Kubo says while walking up to you, "I'm fine with you teasing him, but don't try to steal my members by using your tits, got it? I have enough issues with Brando.""I have no idea what you mean~," you play coy, tapping a finger against your lip to look cute. She rolls her eyes then says, "Well, ya got your training in. You ready to go find that Yoichi jerk and give him a good pounding?">Sure. You're ready to get this show on the road.>Maybe later. Not Kobu. It's okay, Kobu is clearly NPC dude number 2. Easy mistake to make, everyone outside Rai keeps getting those three mixed up too.

---After getting Isa to calm down, you, Kubo, and him head out to find Yoichi. It's not that difficult. You just have to ask around for him and people point you in his direction. When you find the guy, he's inside the "Mecha Battle Zone", essentially a big rec room completely dedicated to Mecha Battles. There are lots of other people here hanging out, battling, or messing with their models."That's him," Isa points towards a guy in a tracksuit leaning his back against one of the VR Boards. Around him stand three other guys who seem to be gassing him up and praising him.As your party approaches, Yoichi spots you and pushes himself off the VR Board. A shit eating grin comes over his face and he waves, "Isa! Good to see you man. Back for another beating. Ah, I see you brought your boss with you and...oooh, now who is this?"He gives you special attention, one hand on his chin as he looks you up and down...eyes taking time to stare at your chest and hips for longer than normal. He chuckles, "Why, hello cutie. What's your name?">Tell him and challenge him. Right here, right now.>Don't tell him. Just challenge him. He doesn't deserve to know your name.>Let Isa handle it. You don't even hesitate. You march up to him, point at his face, and say plainly, "Yoichi Sanjuro. I Robinson, challenge you to a Mecha Battle. Here and now."The man and his cronies go silent for a moment. They share a look before they all start to laugh. Yoichi looks over at Isa and says, "Really, man? You're so salty over me beating you, you get some random chick to fight your battles for you?"Smiling, expecting this to happen, you cross your arms under your breasts and say, "Ah, I understand. My apologies, I didn't realize my challenge would frighten you so much."That gets him and his goons to stop laughing. He turns his attention to you, a dangerous glint in his eyes and smile, "Careful there, cutie. You may say something you'll come to regret.""Hmm, I doubt that. What I am regretting, though, is talking to you more than I have to. If you're not interested in Mecha Battles because you're scared of me, then I'll take my business to someone with something between their legs," you hear some gasps and oohs from some of the people around you. Seems you've gathered a crowd. That finally gets Yoichi's goat. He reaches behind him and pulls out his Zaku. Sure enough, it's decked out with multiple ranged weapons, just as you had heard. He's smile turns predatory as he says, "Alright. If that's how you're gonna be, I'll fight you. But, you have to make it worth my while. How's about a bet?""Piss off, Yoichi. She-" you hold up a hand to interrupt Kubo. She clicks her tongue but abides by your wishes. Yoichi taps his chin then says, "How about this? If I win, you have to come and hang with me for the rest of the day. And you can't say no to anything I ask of you.""And if I win," you say, not even flinching at the suggestion, "you'll get on your knees and apologize to Isa for damaging his Model."He laughs out loud, "Fine! Thus, it only makes sense to turn them back on you. If I win, you have to do whatever I say for a day. And you can't say no. Are you man enough to take that deal?"More "oohs" come from the crowd and at this point if Yoichi says no, he'll lose a lot of face. You don't know how much worth Brando places on its reputation, but you imagine it's a lot. Yoichi looks around, frowning for a moment, before putting up his shit eating grin, "Fine. Not like I can lose to some newbie who doesn't even go here anyway. Shake on it?""You don't have to do this, Robinson," Isa says, leaning forward. ...Actually, you should probably let people know what your first name is now. Rolled 2 (1d2)Shake his hand, and Grace. Got it.---"I, Grace Robinson, accept your wager," you grab his hand and shake on it, sealing the deal.He chuckles, "Don't back out when you lose, now.""Wouldn't dream of it," you say, separating as the two of you go to your respective spots on the VR Board. A crowd has gathered around, everyone watching as the two of you get ready to fight. You take out Velt and place it on the landing. Yoichi does the same to his Zaku-II. Unlike the last one, this VR Board emits an image of a coin. Below it are the words "??? Will Choose Terrain". It automatically marks you as Heads and Yoichi as Tails. Then, it flips through the air...
It lands Tails and Yoichi's grin widens as he quickly chooses the terrain you'll be fighting in. He ends up choosing "Battlefield Wreckage", showing off a place in space with a bunch of destroyed ships and mobile suits. The words "Are the pilots ready?" appear before both of you. Yoichi quickly goes, "Yeah I am. Gunline, blow her to bits!"So, his Zaku's called "Gunline", huh? Alright then, let's do this. You take the two joysticks and say, "Let's devour them all, darling~!"
---You're once again in Velt's cockpit, this time in the middle of an old battlefield somewhere in space. Around you are the drifting hulks of ships and shot down carcasses of mobile suits. You've already got your thrusters going to keep yourself oriented.Hmm, first thing's first, you've gotta find out where Yoichi is. Once you do, you can start working on bringing him down. But how are you doing to do that?>Sneak around, try to get the jump on him. You can hide in the wreckages to break line of sight.>Boost around and look. You've just been boosting and thrusting around without worrying about his attacks. Sure, he's a decent shot. But he's not that good. Still, you can't dodge forever. You need to actually make a play on him. Though, he's probably set up those mines you were warned about. Hmmm, what should you do?>Charge in anyway! No way he'll be able to shoot through all this hull.Using afterimage right now is blowing our load too early - we need to use it once we've closed the distance enough that one boost + afterimage gets us within striking range. Using the debris is also an obvious play so he won't get spooked into using the mines.
>>6423904>Write in>Sloppily try to get closer to him using debris cover, then use afterimage to close the gap once all his attention is focused on our "location" A combination of debris and afterimage which that takes advantage of both the fact that he sees us as a stupid newbie and he wants to make us squirm. We close the first bit of distance to him using the asteroid field as cover while not bothering too much about stealth. That should mean he gets his guard down because he thinks we're just a stupid girl who's just all talk, and instead of gunning for this kill he'll probably toy with us and do a few pot shots to taunt us which gives us more time to edge that littler bit close. If we're very lucky might even make he drift out of his minefield if he thinks he can finish this easy peasy and the mines are overkill. Then we maybe bait him into going in for the kill by pretending to mess up and give him an opening, and then afterimage into close combat range. Missile launcher to detonate all his mines and go in for the kill.Using afterimage alone will just get his guard up if we can't connect a hit and wastes our best weapon, and too good of a debris infiltration will just cause him to lock in and go for the kill. He probably has practise shooting through debris anyway because we're probably not the first person to try using cover to get close. But if my write in doesn't get traction then just put me down for >Use the debris for cover. When deciding the vote because I want to keep afterimages in reserve.

Time to take advantage of your surroundings. Turning your body, you engage your thrusters while grabbing a piece of destroyed battleship and holding it out in front of you like a shield. Hard thumps hit against the hull as you flew towards your target, his attacks damaging it but not enough to get through it.At first. It couldn't stay intact forever. It would break eventually. Thankfully, you made sure to stay close to more of the destroyed ships and asteroids. When your makeshift shield finally turned to burning slag, you tossed it away and flew towards an intact piece. You kept this up for a while, until you managed to finally get close enough that you could see his Zaku-II.Along with the field of about five mines that he left around himself."Tsk, damn rabbit. The running and hiding is getting old," he puts up his rifles and puts both hands on his shoulder, twin rocket launchers come down aiming directly at you, "Let's see you run from this!"Fires both launchers, the dark space around him lightning up as they speed through the space directly towards you...moving to make sure they hit you. You turn to face your opponent and-MINES!The rockets were a distraction! He was trying to get you with his mines! The small black balls start turning red as you enter their proximity. You're too close to get away, and you don't think Afterimage will be enough to save you here. So, you do the only thing you can think to do...Raising both your right arms to block, you brace for what's to come. The mines and the rockets you cut apart detonate and you feel Velt get rocked. The actual pain of being sent flying around your cockpit is lessened by the Particles, but it still feels rough. You're temporarily deafened, but it doesn't last long. Soon enough, you're able to stabilize yourself and get an idea of what went wrong.Let's see...you did take some damage. But Velt's still in the fight. Thrusters, Boosters, Magnum, Beam Saber, Afterimage, and Black Hole Launcher are still intact...but you've lost your right arm.Oh, that's not good. You're right handed."Ha! Still hanging in there I see," you look up and scowl, watching as Yoichi's Mech starts trying to get a bead on you through the smoke, "But, don't worry, that won't last for long!"Hrnngh, this isn't good. He's completely taken the momentum. Not to mention you only managed to reach medium range. You still have a distance to cover that he could shoot you through. At least he doesn't have the mines anymore. Urgh, what now?>Charge in! All or nothing!>Start firing your Magnum. You can't get in close right now!>...Screw it, all or nothing. Fire the Black Hole Launcher! (ONCE PER BATTLE!)>Maybe you could trick him into getting close to you? Make him think you're completely defenseless?>Write in...

>>6424765>Take out his Thrusters. He can't get away anymore.
>>6424770---Okay. You know how to use this to your advantage. Time to make used of what you practiced with Isa.You hit your boosters as you aim straight for Yoichi's Zaku. It takes a bit of fumbling, but you eventually pull your Beam Saber out and turn it on in your left hand. It's not easy to use it, but that's fine. As long as you've got the element of surprise, you should be able to get this guy."Huh?! Is th-FUCK!" you burst through the smoke, hurtling straight for him as he screams in surprise. He turns and aims both his rifles at you, pulling the triggers and sending a wave of lead your way. You hit the Afterimage systems before they strike, leaving it to get eviscerated while you close the distance. Moving under him and to his back, you yell a battle cry as you cut into the thrusters on his back. Your blade bites deep and leaves a massive, burning cut in the energy on the back. "F-Fuck! You damn, bitch! Gotta-Gotta get this off!" he shouts as you duck away from an attempt at backhanding you. He manages to get the pack off his back, but not before it explodes and takes the rest of his thrusters with it. He's still alive, but that left a number on him. His mecha turns its gaze up at you and starts trying to aim...but then he seems to realize. He's a ranged model...and you're in close now."Uh...Uh...H-He-Hey, how about we make a deal?">Get him! >>6424865100+ VS 3---"Last I checked," you smile and get your blade ready, "We already had a deal, darling~."Without ceremony you boost forward and start wailing on him as much as you can. Oh, he tries to block or fire back with his guns. But when Isa said he sucked in melee combat, he meant it. His "defense" is more flailing than actually trying to defend himself. In some cases, he just makes the situation worse. It certainly is fun finally managing to get some good hits on him. By the time you're done, it's lost a leg and an arm along with having multiple cuts across his mech. You've got him on the ropes. Now the question is, how will you finish this?>Write in Finisher...

Keeping up your smile, you put away your beam saber and put two fingers where your Mecha's lips would be if it had any. At the same time, you hit the switches on all your missiles, the tubes on your back opening up as you prepare to launch them. "Can't wait to make you...my little rabbit~. Chu~", you blow him a kiss right when you hit the launch button. A barrage of missiles launches from your back and, at this range, all land a direct hit right on his Model. You stay right on the edge of the explosion, letting the force blow you away as he's turned to scrap. Pretty soon the victory screen appears and----...You're brought back out of the simulation. Around you, you hear nothing but cheers of joy while Yoichi is left slumped over his side of the VR Board. The two cronies that were around him seem to have made themselves scarce. As you can't see them anywhere. "Robinson! You did it!" you hear Kubo say, as she runs over and grabs you around your waist, "You really did it!""Thought he had you for a second there," Isa says, walking over and patting you on your shoulder, "But you turned it around in the end. Your Junker has been avenged.""Uh, yeah, thanks," he says, trying to avoid the fact that one of his arms is currently in between your girls. Whether that was on purpose you'll never tell."Hey! The weasel is trying to get away!" Nobu yells, and you two turn to see Yoichi trying to slowly tip-toe away from you. He flinches at Nobu's force and starts trying to force his way through the crowd."Oh, no! You're not escaping!" Isa says, gently separating from you before running after Yoichi.>Follow them! Come here!" you hear Nobu shout as she joins you in your running.Unfortunately, while you run as fast as you can, Isa is a bodybuilder of some kind. He completely outpaces you and catches up to Yoichi quick. The two of them round a corner, and you hear the sound of something getting knocked over. Along with grunting sounds. When you and Nobu round the corner, you're treated to the sight of Isa holding Yoichi under his arm...his naked arm.Because his shirt is off and water is running down his muscular body. Next to him is an overturned bucked of what you think was water, along with a couple of guys yelling at Isa for knocking it over."Sorry about that," he said to them, hefting Yoichi up, "Little shit was trying to get out of our deal.""Let me go you fucking gorilla!' Yoichi struggles, but he's too wimpy to even make him budge. "Quiet," Isa shakes him before turning around to look at you and Nobu. Then he holds up his free hand and waves it, "Hey. He then tosses Yoichi on the floor in front of you. The weasel tries to crawl away, but you stomp the ground in front of him to keep him from running. Is it just because he's an asshole on a power trip, or has he maybe gotten wind that there's gonna be a spot in the regionals/regional qualifiers opening up for the college's best mecha battler and this is all an early attempt to thin out the competition? Then dragging him to Rai for the rest of the apologies is easier than having to drag him around the campus to find all his victims....and if he DID have a maid outfit that he was planning to stuff Grace into if we lost, then I would not object to making him perform steps 2/3 while wearing it. But only if he already had the maid outfit ready to go, don't think out girl is that much of a sadist to go out and buy one specially. ...DO think she'll be petty enough to go out and buy some bunny ears to really tie the outfit together though, kek

---"...My money...all my precious money," Yoichi whines again, his body laying against the wall while his hands limply hold an empty wallet. "Oh, stop it. You sound like a girl," Isa says, counting up the yen he got from the Brando member. You had dragged Yoichi to the Rai Clubroom, forced him to apologize to everyone he had hurt, and made him pay for any repairs. Until his wallet was completely empty. Now, you, Isa, Nobu, and the other members are all sitting around laughing at Yoichi or just enjoying yourselves. He smiles and holds his hand out for you to take. You do so, and he pulls you to your feet while shaking your head, "Thanks for this, Robinson. Wouldn't have been able to do this without you."You smile, his praise blowing away the disappointment at not being able to get Yoichi in a Maid Outfit. You thank him and let his hand go, "Thanks, but we're not done yet. I've still got him for the whole day. Right, Yoichi?"You look over and smile at your defeated foe, who yelps as you turn your attention to him. Everyone stares him down, while you cross your arms and say, "Okay, now, fess up: Why is Brando doing all this? What made them decide to start attacking other clubs?""I-I-I don't know!" he says, arms up to cover his face, "I only joined, like, a week ago!
