You are a Hardboiled Detective working for the Noir Policing Company. Your job is to go around the city & stop crime before it even happens. Your office is Room 4 on the 7th Floor, meaning it takes quite a while to leave the building & stop said crime in the first place. You recently got a letter from your boss informing you that the local gang, The Setting Moon, may be up to no good. Thus you are tasked with finding them & putting an end to their terror so the civilians can sleep at night. What will you do?(I may not update this all too often)
I'll probably check back tomorrow. Have fun!
>>6429912Also, don't hope on too much drawfaggotry. I don't have a mouse.
>>6429913laptop chad
>>6429911go take a wee
>>6429918You look for a toilet... but unfortunately, there appears to be none inside of your office, thusly, you end up pissing on the floor.Look at what you've done.It has also just hit you that you have no name. What should your name be?
>>6429940Thomas Aquinas
>>6429941Your name is Thomas Aquinas. Of course it is a complete coincidence that you're named after an Italian friar & priest; you're not even religious for crying out loud!As was previously mentioned, your boss has informed you about The Setting Moon's antics. You'd better go stop them! ...but maybe not at this exact moment. After all, you are just one person, & they are a gang.
>>6429944I've got it! We'll call THE POLICE on them!
>>6429945You are the police Numbnuts; but maybe some backup would help.
>>6429912Nevermind I got impatient
>>6429947that was a test.... and you passed, narrator. Gotta have a sharp head in this line of work. Let's read that paper on the floor
>>6429953QM confirmed high IQ and based
>>6429955You pick up the letter, & it reads as follows:"To: Thomas AquinasFrom: Ivy ScullDear Thomas, as you may know, The Setting Moon has been causing trouble again. Now I don't mean to be a bother, but could you please go take care of them? I promise to double triple your pay for a year (plus, I'll give you a surprise of my own~).I'm almost certain that you're the right person for this job. But I still have a pinch of doubt in you, so I recommend that you go assemble a crew to help you out. The Detectives in Room 809, 517, & 301 are also fit for the job & have received similar letters.I hope you stay safe on your little adventure I've assigned you on deary!"
>>6429959'Double triple'... that's... that's SIX TIMES our wages! We could finally buy a desk! Or a COUCH to go with that coffee table! But first... let's RUMINATE on those other detectives in 809, 517, and 301. Surely we've met before? Or at least put together dossiers on incriminating and/or embarrassing habits of theirs?
>>6429963Wait pauseHow much do we get paid because six times zero is zero
>>6429964Alot (((this is not a new page)))
>>6429963It would appear as if you know nothing about these other detectives, & you certainly don't have any files on them. You'd just have to go find out yourself...however long that takes.
>>6429967Why is my ID different???
>>6429969cus the cookies got refreshed or your IP got changed, IDK man but it doesn't matter when you have a tripcode
>>6429967go to the detective nearest to us
>>6429971Oh thx, today is only my 2nd day of using 4chan lmao.
>>6429972You enter into the hallway & scope the place out. You can go upstairs, downstairs, or fuck around with the other offices. You could also be lame & go straight to 807 (which is closest to us), 517, & 301.
>>6429976*or 301
>>6429976hrmmm.. go to top of the building and get into the top apartment
>>6429978Eating dinner it'll be a bit till the next update
>>6429981You make the long trek up to the roof of the building. Right below you is floor F, the 16th floor of the building (counting the basement). You look out into the skyline of the city & watch as the sun sets, casting a glorious reddish orange color across the sky.Today is the 18th of June, 2026; & not long from now, it will be the 19th. As you look out skyward, you expect to hear the sound of traffic; & while you do, you also hear gunshots. You have a feeling that this job is going to be a bit harder than "go to the bad guys & beat them up".
>>6430013Also that's probably gonna be the last update for today. See you tomorrow!
>>6430014I'm ready to take suggestions again; though idk how much I'll be able to add them because I'm currently traveling down to my Grandma's (she lives ~5-6 hours away) & the cell data is a bit spotty.
>>6430315go into the penthouse apartment in the highest floor of the building(that's what I meant by >>6429981)
>>6430318Last time you checked, all of the offices look almost the same, so there wouldn't be any luxury rooms unless the person working in there decorated it to be all fancy. You open all of the doors, but they all appear to be vacant. You do remember seeing a help wanted sign on the front door before coming in this morning.
>>6430319hmnmm... we should inquire about itbut before we do that, I think it'd be a good idea to lose the suit and the hat, disguise ourselves a little, to seem like a regular Joe
>>6430321You look all over the place for an outfit to change into, but you can't find anything! Everyone else is wearing the same thing as you, since it's the outfit is mandated by Ivy herself. You aren't really sure how wearing a disguise would really help you recruit more people in the first place.
>>6430322well.. I guess I may have assumed something different.. lets read what is on the help wanted sign
>>6430324You go down to the fron entrance & read the sign. It reads as follows:"Hell wanted"Wow, what a suprise.
>>6430325"*Help wanted"
>>6430326quite a bizarre sign.. usually there are details about the "help" that is needed and information to contact to help, so a sign just saying "help wanted" is most bizarre for sure....investigate the sign.. maybe there are details we can deduce from the sign
>>6430327You examine every inch of the paper, even the back, but the only thing on it is "Help wanted" in big red letters. Which I guess sorta makes sense considering it's stamped to the building that needs said help.
>>6430328okay this is clearly going nowhere, go randomly to one of your fellow detective's apartment
>>6430339From where you are (the front entrance), going to room 301 would be easiest, so that's where you head. You knock on the door & the dude who works in that office. You introduce yourself & tell him about the letter making sure that he's the one. You then ask him his name...What is his name anyway?
>>6430344Dogz Snoopinski. No relation
>>6430347He adresses himself as "Dogz Snoopinski".You laugh & tell him to cuz this is serious business (for the most part I suppose)
>>6430349*You laugh & tell him to cut the bullshit
>>6430349Hahah alright alright ya got me my real name isDoug Snoupinski
>>6430356His name is Doug Snoupinski. From now on if you want to adress a command to a character, please use their first name (or an abbreviation of their first & last name) + a comma before the command to make it easier for me! Example: Doug: [command] or DS: [command].
>>6430362"eya doug.. eh.. how ya feeling man" we tell him
>>6430367He says he's doing fine & asks the same of you.
>>6430384(it would be fun if you'd have done dialogue, but it's your quest)"eh, y'know.. a little pissy day, you know how it be.. Say, what do you think of this so called 'The Setting Moon' gang?"
>>6430389"The Setting Moon? Why I oughta teach those good for nothing bastards a lesson! Terrorizing our poot city; who do they think they are? I actually got an assignment from Ms. Scull herself saying that me & 3 other detectives in this offices are to deal with them! She said they're in rooms 517, 704, & 809. Do you know anything about them? I ain't really talk to no one else in this building so I ain't know'em!" He explains.
>>6430390"well.. I guess I forgot to introduce myself, I am Thomas Aquinas, pleasure to make business, I work in room 704"
