With the Tournament of Power brought to a close, the Seventh Universe has emerged triumphant once more. Led by the Saiyan warriors, the Seventh's victory was secured. And with the wish on the Super Dragon Balls used to restore the other universes that were eliminated and erased, the final hidden trial was passed, and all eight of the universes up for elimination were allowed to remain. Yet, even with this victory, peace doesn't last in the Seventh Universe for long. As old hatreds rise and long-buried grudges resurface, will you have what it takes to keep everything you've worked the last 28 years of your life to build? Or will those who seek your end ultimately triumph? That all depends on you, and your choices. You the players will (most often) control Karn. A Saiyan man who has grown from his lowly beginnings as a mid-tier Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733 to become not only the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759, but also personal friend to the former emperor Lord Freeza, father to over a dozen powerful and unique children, a mentor and teacher to his fellow Saiyans, and the indisputable winner of the Tournament of Power. Wielder of the Berserker Soul, and the powerful Stand Divine Dragon Force, you're fully equipped to handle any threat that comes your way. >>6445892Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:After the birth of Karand'r, Broly and Koriand'r's first child and Karn learning what the Jiralhanae can do, as well as confronting their Chieftess with Maza, showing the buildings your half-demon son'd proposed and sparring with his wife again, Karn and Meloka confronted none other than Darkseid once more. Crushing his avatar in moments with you both working together, your wife tearing his body to shreds. Only for her to lose herself in her bloodlust, attacking her husband. But Karn quickly gets her under control, and as we rejoin Karn, you're laying on your back, your wife laying atop your chest. Both of you reverted back to your base forms.“You really cut loose in that form, huh?” you ask her teasingly, your wife looking up and raising a brow at you.“You like it.” she replies, leaning in for a kiss. Which you reciprocate, only for the moment to again be interrupted. Not by an invading, inter-dimensional golem this time. But by one of your allies telepathically reaching out to you.“Karn. We've got a problem.” King Vegeta thinks to you, his mind reaching your own. “Where are you?”“Raxus Prime. We just dealt with Darkseid again.” you tell him, a sudden worry coming to mind. “Don't tell me he's-?!”“No, he's not here. But someone else is here to see you, specifically.” he answers, you getting a feeling something's up. “And it's-”Well? >>6445894“-Kars.”“Kars? You mean-?” you start, your king interjecting.“Yes. That Kars. He's here to speak with you.” King Vegeta says, your own brows furrowing at this. “And, well, for Meloka as well. But he said he needed to speak with you first.”“Not a problem, we'll be right over.” you tell him, then turn to your wife as you end the telepathic connection.“Trouble?” she asks, firing a bit of energy at herself, using the Clothes Beam technique to recreate her gi in pristine condition.“Yeah. Kars is back home, looking for us.” you answer her as she Clothes Beam's your own clothes back on, then freezes. Looking up at you, her expression suddenly worried.“Kars. The god. Who can teleport anywhere in the universe.” she says slowly, realization dawning for you as well. “Is waiting with the king. To see us. And not coming to us directly.”“Yeah. Must be something official he wants. He's never been shy about just stopping time and showing up before.” you reply, wondering what it could be he's actually after. “Think we should go?”“Or what, just leave Vegeta to him? No. We'll see what he wants.” your wife replies, shaking her head. A moment later the portal reappears, Meloka having no doubt reached out telepathically to Raven. Who nods to you both as you and your wife step through, closing it behind you. Looking worried, no doubt having overheard your telepathic conversation with the king. “Thank you, Raven. You're always a big help.”“You're welcome.” she says, then in a more serious tone adds. “Please, be careful. I sense something from him, from Kars. Something I, I haven't felt before. A hunger, deep and terrible, unlike anything I've ever felt before. I... Just, be careful. Both of you.”“I will.” you tell her, giving her a serious nod. The easy, casual expression gone, realizing if RAVEN's worried just from what she can feel from him, this might actually be dangerous. So you're not going in recklessly, looking to Meloka. Seeing your serious expression mirrored you both lift up into the air and take off, crossing the small channel back to the mainland and New Salda's capitol city. Where you can immediately sense Kars power along with the king's own. The two of you flying down to his building, landing on the steps. Where both the Royal Guard immediately salute, opening the door to the throne room without hesitation. You nod to each of them, walking inside. Where you see Kars, King Vegeta, and young Prince Vegeta too all gathered.cont
>>6445916“So, I heard you wanted to see me, Kars.” you say, walking in. The Supreme Kai's Apprentice turning, smiling as he sees you and your wife. But, as he does, you can see what Raven warned you of. His eyes are burning with an alien hunger, one that he's trying to suppress. But you can see it. And he sees you see it too, his own smile turning slightly more predatory.“General Karn. Ahh, and Meloka is here with you. Perfect.” he says, taking a single step towards you. “You've both been rather busy this week. I must say, I'm impressed.”“Perfect, huh?” your wife asks, crossing her arms. “So, what're you here for?”“Straight to business then? Very well.” he says, and with a thought grows his Saiyan tail back as he meets your gaze. “Put it simply, I need your help.”“My help?” you ask, only for him to grab his Kai uniform top. And in a motion eerily similar to Meloka's own, tosses it aside. And as you watch, he begins to transform.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7wgi74fnuA“Wh-What?!” you exclaim, taking a step back and taking on your Berserker God form as his power surges.“No way!” Meloka gasps, tossing her top aside and ascending in a flash as well. Transforming herself into a Primal Deity as Kars' body begins sprouting pink fur. The deity ascending into his own Rosé as he calls it version of your wife's new form. And as the blinding light fades, he holds his arms out to his sides. “H-How?”“Simple, by watching you. I have learned to tap into this extraordinary power as well.” he tells your wife, then turns his gaze back to you. “But I cannot control this power, not fully. I need your help.”“My help?” you ask him, raising a brow but not lowering your defensive stance. “For what?”“You can quell the beast within your wife, so she can control this power. Now, I need your help to do the same. Let's leave the king to his business.” your wife says, leaving the throne room as she goes back to the double doors. You and Kars glance to one another, sharing a nod then following her out. She pushes the doors open, stepping out. Taking three steps down the stairs before turning to you both. “Follow me.”She then kicks off the steps, taking off and flying out over the sea. >>6445961“I'll help you. But I can't control your hunger for you. What I can do, is occupy your body, while you focus on your more primal desires.” you tell him, Kars raising a brow at you as you close your eyes, taking a deep breath and slowly sighing out. Tapping into the depths of the Berserker Soul, to the frigid core of the fiery wrath. Allowing yourself to ascend once more, returning to the soaring heights of your power, wielding Supreme Instinct once more. However, as you open your eyes, he's already moving. Blurring towards you at full speed, his dash even faster than Meloka's! Leaving you less than a thought's time to react as your instincts scream that you're in danger. Before you can think your body reacts, leaping back. But before you can escape, Kars swings his hand. Not in a fist, but his hand outstretched as if going to claw you. But his hands don't have claws or any blades to pierce your chest. You try and get back out of the way, but as he swings, his fingertips pass THROUGH your chest! And as you watch in horror, his fingers leave four slashes deep in you as you kick off the ground and take to the air. Covering your bleeding injuries with your left hand and looking down, realizing it isn't stinging like a slash, but the injuries BURN!“Wh-What?!” you exclaim, looking at the injuries. And that's when you have a horrific realization: his fingers didn't cut through you. But they DISSOLVED parallel tracks through your chest, as if dissolving you and EATING you through his fingers! “Tch!”But Kars doesn't stop, flipping and kicking off the ground after you. There's no recognition in his eyes, only the bestial hunger as he pursues you.“KARN?!” your wife shouts, getting ready to leap in.“Stay back!” you shout, then with a thought focus your energy. Forming your Energy Body around you, then stopping your backwards retreat and reversing directions. Dashing back down TOWARDS Kars with a flying left kick. Which he sees coming, pulling back. Avoiding taking the kick to the face, your boot slamming into his chest. Stopping him in place, and sending him flying back down. His body crashing down to the ground hard, body obscured by the cloud of dust the attack kicks up. You then turn to your wife, showing her the injury on your chest. “He can EAT YOU through his hands! Keep to ranged attacks, I'll keep him occupied.”cont
>>6446031“R-Right!” she replies, you seeing the sudden, instinctual terror in her eyes. You turn your focus back to Kars, who leaps back out of the hole you'd made with his body. Blurring towards you, closing the distance once more. But now you're ready, turning your full attention back to him. And as he swings you weave around his lunging right hand, only for a SWORD to suddenly erupt from his arm aimed right at your neck! His blade slamming into your Energy Body at your neck, but as it hits, you feel it. His blade isn't a simple blade, as you can feel it slowly grinding away at your energy! His blade cutting deeper and deeper into your shielding ki.“Wh-What? Tch!” you exhale, swinging your left fist in an uppercut into the flat of his blade. Shattering the bone blade, allowing you to continue your Su Ma spin past his arm and delivering a powerful right elbow to the base of his skull. Slamming his body forward, flipping and firing a right heel kick back at your own jaw. Which you lean back away from, narrowly avoiding his retaliatory strike. Both of you reorienting yourselves on one another a dozen yards apart, before dashing back in again.“HRMPH!” you exhale, launching into a blindingly fast combination. One that Kars doesn't even try to block, at first. Instead, with each blow you can feel his body trying to eat your Energy Body, the same way his fingers had tried to eat your chest. Each vicious blow you land, his body eats a little more of your ki. But you keep repairing your armor, and after two seconds and a hundred or so blows, he starts raising his arms defensively. Both forearms held vertically between you both, shielding his face behind his fists and his body behind his forearms. You deliver a powerful right hook to his left, fist, twisting his arm before following up with a left uppercut. Landing in the cross between his forearms, blowing his guard wide open as you follow with a clockwise spinning back kick square to his guts, your right heel landing straight in his solar plexus and sending him flying back with a wheeze as you wind him. However, before you can follow up, or even regenerate your armor around your boot, his arms CHANGE. Morphing into long, tentacle-like appendages with suction cups on them, his new dozen or so arms all stretching out towards you. With only a second to react, you focus on his energy. Vanishing right as his tentacles would have grabbed you with Instant Transmission, teleporting right behind him. Landing a devastating twelve-to-six elbow square on the top of his head, sending him crashing back down to the ground once more. And as he disappears inside another cloud of dust from the impact, you regenerate your Energy Body with a thought and minimal investment of ki. Leaving only one question:cont

>>6446033As he drops, you retake your fighting stance, not charging back down at him. Deciding to keep to the defense, to let him keep coming at you instead of charging him. And a moment later Kars burst from the smoke cloud, blurring towards you. However, as he does, you notice something's different. His body's changed, looking slightly reflective as he dashes up towards you. This time not swinging with an opened, clawed hand. But a closed fist instead, your right and his clashing midair.“HRRYAAA!” he snarls like a rabid beast, spinning clockwise into a spinning back left heel kick at your temple. Raising your left forearm up you block his kick, only for his leg to CHANGE. Shifting into a large crab-like pincer, the claw snapping to try and sever your limb. But your Energy Body shields you from the snapping claw's bladed edges. You retaliate with a left side kick to his body, knocking him back. His bladed claw slashing your armor, but you regenerate it with a thought as he flips, shifting again. Arms turning into bird-like wings, Kars swinging them and launching a storm of feathers at you. The feathers shift into some sort of iridescent scales, their razor-sharp edges slashing through your armor. None of the scales piercing fully through, none of their edges reaching your skin as he then morphs once more. Growing an extra pair of arms as he rushes in, launching a flurry of punches at you. With a thought you regenerate your Energy Body completely, raising your arms and defending yourself from his onslaught.“Tch!” you seethe through clenched teeth, as for every two hits you block, two more land against you. And while your Energy Body shields you from the damage, each heavy blow devours more and more of your energy. However, as he keeps it up, you quickly pick up his pattern. Going through the same looping combination, and on the fourth rotation through you find it, an opening. Blocking his right overhand, taking the second right under your raised left arm to your ribs while deflecting his left knife hand at your throat with your right forearm, pushing that arm up into his left overhand. Creating a weakness you twist your hips and kick, landing a slamming, powerful turning kick to his side under his left arms. Feeling his ribs crack as your blow lands clean, Kars wincing in pain as he recoils. All four arms lowering, giving you an opening with a turning left straight to the jaw. Snapping his head back, grabbing his left ankle with your right hand, then both hands as you spin him. One, two, three times before launching him away, then focusing on his energy. Teleporting above his tossed body with Instant Transmission and dropping down on his face with a double flying heel kick. “HAAAAAAA!”cont
>>6446075“KUUUUH!?” he exhales as your attack drops him once more, but this time he doesn't land hard. Instead, as he falls he starts spinning, wrapping himself into a ball. Rolling through the air, unfurling and landing on his feet. Kicking off the ground, exploding off it right back towards you. Drawing his blades from both forearms this time, then turning them. Catching the light, temporarily blinding you with a blinding flash.“Tch! Fuck!” you exclaim as you're blinded, yet as he closes in and swings your body moves. Even though you can't see him, you can sense him. And even if you couldn't, with your Supreme Instinct, your body would react anyways. He comes in, swinging with an uppercut-like slash with his right blade. Your body weaving around it, firing a left turning short uppercut to his right side's floating ribs followed by a right uppercut. Kars twists as your uppercut launches him back, slashing at your head with his left arm blade. Twisting slightly, your body catches his left arm blade on your armored right forearm, his sword biting into it before snapping near his forearm. And before he can react your body's twisting clockwise, landing a heavy left haymaker to his jaw. Once more sending him crashing down to the ground, this time not recovering as his impact sounds heavy. Blinking repeatedly, you begin to get your vision back. Rubbing your face, blinking away the stars in your eyes. “Dammit. That fucking hurt.”However, after a moment you realize the blade in your arm is still cutting deeper, your eyes snapping to it. Watching as it sinks deeper a moment, then grabbing it. Only for the blade to shift, transforming into a serpent. Sinking its fangs into your left hand, its fangs piercing through your Energy Body. Its fangs sinking into your hand as you wince, feeling its fangs pierce your hand. Tearing your hand free from its mouth, you immediately toss the snake up into the air.“MELOKA!” you shout, your wife IMMEDIATELY firing an energy wave. Obliterating the serpent in its entirety, reducing it to atoms. You then turn as Kars rises, you turning on him. >>6446076As you glare down at Kars, your Supreme Instinct's cold fury turns arctic. Your entire focus narrows down to nothing more than him. And before you've fully thought it through, what you plan to do, your body's already moved. Closing the gap instantly, you seeing a flicker of recognition in Kars' eyes. But it's already too late, as you unleash your power. Feeling your mind shift as you take on the Juyo form, and everything becomes a blur. Even you can't see your own fists and feet striking him, becoming a living blender of strikes. His body doesn't even have time to properly recoil from any single blow, looking almost as if he's frozen in time as you unleash your strongest form. However, as you unleash the full might of your Juyo technique, you feel everything start to get cold. Your Energy Body begins to freeze around you, shattering against him as you continue the attack. Breathing small clouds with each rapid exhale as frost covers your body, as while using Juyo with Supreme Instinct your body instinctively begins tapping into the dread power of Lifehunt. Yet, as it does, the cold seeping into your muscles combats the intense burning pain of pushing your body so far past its normal limits. The cold battling the burning, allowing you to sustain the attack as your strikes begin to break through his defenses, and start tearing his body apart! Your storm of blows begin to rip him to shreds, overpowering both his defenses and even his regeneration's ability to keep his body together.“HRRYAAAAAA!!” you roar, and with a final bellow kick him straight up in the head. Your boot to his chin sending him flying. Flying in a straight line back, his body flying further and further up. Disappearing from sight, then flying so far back he leaves Raxus Prime's atmosphere entirely. Then, with a thought, you teleport back up to him, behind him as he soars into the void. “TRRRRYAAAAA!!”And lacing your fingers together, swinging them together in a double-fist haymaker at his head. The heavy blow snapping his head back, sending him rocketing back towards the planet below. Then, focusing your ki you teleport to Meloka. Who, the moment you appear by her, she leaps up at you. Wrapping her arms around your neck, kissing you deeply as Kars' body crashes down like a meteor. Creating a massive, extinction-level explosion from his impact. You kiss your wife back, arms wrapped around her back as the blast washes over you both.cont
>>6446120The explosion washes over you and your wife as you kiss. Then, as you end the kiss, pull back as you realize your frigid power is slowly coating her in ice. Closing your moment, focusing and suppressing your Lifehunt power's icy chill once more. Your wife simultaneously breaking the ice that had started spreading over her by flexing and blazing her aura. But, before she can jump on you again, you feel Kars' power begin to rise once again. She feels it too, both of you turning. And from the massive new, still-smoking crater, Kars' mangled body rises up. Floating up and out of the hole, you watching as he regenerates. His entire body quickly returning, and he's still in his transformed Primal Rosé state. But now, instead of looking mindlessly hungry, you can see the real Kars behind his eyes once more. He's no longer lost to his hunger, but clearly in control of himself fully.“Well well. That was quite... Informative. I can see why you recommended this course of action.” he says, rolling his neck once. It cracking audibly as he grins at you both. “Freeing my mind to focus on my primal desires and controlling them, instead of also focusing on restraining my body's urges at the same time. Quite the inspired idea, general. And now I shall be in full control of this body's... Urges, when the need arises.”He then glances to Meloka, giving you both a smirk before continuing.“Though it would seem your wife would prefer her method of dealing with her biological urges, than mine.” he says with a laugh, powering down and magic-ing his Kai Apprentice uniform back on fully. “I shall be watching your fight with Granolah with great interest, friends. Until then. Kai Kai!”And just like that, he's gone. Disappearing without a trace, no doubt returning to the divine realm. You stare at where he disappeared from a moment, before your wife reaches over. Grabbing you by the shoulder, turning you to face her.“I've been patient long enough. My turn.” she says, her voice a low growl as she kisses you hungrily again. Her hands sliding down your chest as you both drift down to the bottom of the new crater together. Your wife's eyes filled with a much different hunger than Kars' were.cont

But they DISSOLVED parallel tracks through your chest, as if dissolving you and EATING you through his fingers! “Tch!”Pillar Man is a really lethal fighter.>“Stay back!” you shout, then with a thought focus your energy. Forming your Energy Body around you, then stopping your backwards retreat and reversing directions. This technique is so good. One of the most important things that Karn invented. It's a real lifesaver—few other things can compare to it.>>6446032> His blade isn't a simple blade, as you can feel it slowly grinding away at your energy! His blade cutting deeper and deeper into your shielding ki.Crazy fight. Again doing this without Energy Body would be much harder.>One that Kars doesn't even try to block, at first. Instead, with each blow you can feel his body trying to eat your Energy Body, the same way his fingers had tried to eat your chest. He can consume even pure energy this way. Wow.>However, before you can follow up, or even regenerate your armor around your boot, his arms CHANGE. Morphing into long, tentacle-like appendages with suction cups on them, his new dozen or so arms all stretching out towards you. This fight is only getting crazier. It’s very nice that it happened. Very interesting. > With only a second to react, you focus on his energy. Fight with Kars was very exciting and very unusual. Changing the leg into pincer, shooting feathers that are like razors, attacking with four arms, blinding Karn with light from the blades, and also turning the blade into serpent. That was something you don’t see every day. Also, when snake bit Karn, there was no poison in it? Right? He did not leave and forget about some venom that may potentially course through Karn’s veins. Also it’s good he did not summon the Stand.>Ready to see what Chaya's working on, see her ideas for her upcoming tournament?Sure.>Curious if Tanya's managed to further master the powers of her Yellow Lantern ring, and what the rest of your children are up to?I’m very curious.By the way, so many thing happened recently.>Cumber showing up,>chasing down elusive Hirudegarn,>meeting with Hadar face to face alongside with Ace,>fighting Goku from Conton City,>sparring with Meloka in her new form,>Darkseid’s attack>helping Kars control his hunger.A lot happened and this certainly is not a standard type of training, but doing all of this must count for something. It should be helpful in some way as a preparation for the fight that awaits Karn with Granolah.
>>6446123>“Though it would seem your wife would prefer her method of dealing with her biological urges, than mine.” he says with a laugh, powering down and magic-ing his Kai Apprentice uniform back on fully. “I shall be watching your fight with Granolah with great interest, friends. >>6446200He doesn't really know Cell. Kars has so many wacky powers, being a perfect being. Yes, it has poisoned you. However, small spoiler, but Lifehunt destroyed it.This was all Kars WITHOUT his brilliant mind backing him. He was essentially fighting you on biological instinct alone, his body trying to adapt to eat you. Which is why he couldn't use Za Warudo, as 'he' was focused internally.Yes. All of this is making Karn quite adept with wielding Supreme Instinct.>>6446261He chose the words purposefully. Whether or not he truly means it or is only calling you friend as a means of manipulation, guess you'll never really know.
>>6446177“Well, what do you think, hun?” you ask Meloka aloud. “Want to go see what she's working on?”“Sure, why not?” your wife replies with a grin, raising her right hand to her forehead. You smile back, placing your hand on her shoulder. And, in a blink, the world around you seemingly changes. One moment you both are on New Salda, the next you find yourselves on a hellish alien world. You appear with your wife near your daughter as she and Tanya are directing some of the Dreadzone robots in what to build. The scenery behind them a hellscape of black clouds and volcanoes pouring lava across the surface of the planet. “Hey kiddo.”“HEY! What do you think, really sets the mood, huh?” she asks with a grin, gesturing to the volcanoes in the distance. “Let them know this isn't gonna be just some walk in the park right as they arrive.”“It's certainly sets a tone.” you reply, noticing her eyes are blazing yellow and gold. A fact your mother picks up on, the two of you sharing a glance.“What? What is it?” Chaya asks, catching the glance between you both. “What's wrong?”“You been using your dark powers, while you were here?” you ask her directly, Chaya's brows shooting up. And from her reaction you realize immediately that she hasn't. And, flying over, checks her reflection in one of the robots' reflective surfaces.“Huh. That's different.” she says, shrugging and turning back. “Guess this planet's really good at setting the mood.”“This world... Can you feel it?” the phantom Bane asks, his spectral form materializing beside you. “There is a... Presence, here. Something that should not be.”“Should not be?” you ask the phantom telepathically, who turns and points. And, sure enough, off in the distance you see what appears to be a temple through the smog. However, as you look towards it, your instincts suddenly start screaming at you, that whatever's over there is deadly.“Dad?” Chaya asks, seeing the way you're looking. Tilting her head, but doesn't seem to see anything. But only for a moment, as you can feel her sudden tension when she senses it as well. “Wh-What is that?”“What is it, you two? Drawing Tanya's gaze, the small blonde woman walking over to your wife as you take off towards the menacing obsidian keep in the distance. Your daughter close behind as you fly through the smoky air, getting nearer and nearer to the old fortress. It looms menacingly, but as you get close, suddenly your instincts warn you of danger. And then several automated turrets turn, all start shooting up at you.“Auto turrets!” Chaya calls, dashing the opposite way you go, dividing their attention between you both. The turrets turn, firing blasts of laser weapons. But you're far faster than them even in your base form, weaving through the shots. Focusing your energy, you start firing small ki blasts down. Shooting shot after shot, careful not to destroy more of the ancient building than necessary and just destroying the outer defenses. Chaya does the same as she circles the opposite way you are, you circling the tower clockwise while she goes counterclockwise. And in only a few moments, the turrets are all destroyed. Leaving you and your daughter floating outside the ancient structure, which is clearly a fortress of some kind. “Did you see a way inside?”“We could go in through the way the lava's pouring out of that keep. Or going in.” you tell her, gesturing to the way the lava stream's entering the fortress. “Unless you found another entrance?”“I found a way in on the other side. Looks like a hangar bay.” she says, you nodding and flying around with her back to the side overlooking the cliff. Dropping down as you follow her to a large pair of blast doors, your daughter reaching out and grabbing them at the seam. And with a grunt of effort starts forcing them open. And as soon as they see the blade, the droids all immediately re-holster their weapons, resuming what they were doing before.“Hmph. That's what I thought.” she says, deactivating the weapon. One that you quickly find, casually blasting the automated turrets that activate before either can fire, and you and your daughter get in the elevator and start traveling up. The first floor you arrive to is a massive chamber, with a large cluster of crimson-glowing crystals held suspended.“Woah. Those are... Kyber?” she asks, her stub of a tail flicking as she turns her head slightly. No doubt speaking with her version of Bane in her mind a moment. “Well, knowing this is here, this fortress is a lot more valuable than I thought. Good thing we didn't just blow it away. But let's keep moving, the presence is higher.”You nod, looking around the chamber for another elevator up. And the two of you find it, disabling another pair of auto turrets before riding up higher and higher until it finally stops. Opening up to a dark room, you and Chaya stepping out into it and looking around. The entire room seems to be made of obsidian, with no overhead lights, most of the light in the room coming from the lava fields outside. And at the far end of the room, on a raised dais is a throne. Also constructed of that same black stone, the throne itself harsh and angular. But sitting upon it is a figure you recognize. One you've faced before, a long, long time ago.“You.” you say, brows furrowing at the armored man sitting there.“Well now. This is certainly a surprise.” the figure says, standing up from his throne. His head is covered in an armored helm, blades on his fingers and several of the hilts of weapons like Chaya's own are slung on his belt. Their voice comes out, but not only distorted by being filtered through a mask. It echoes wrong, almost like there's something else to their voice as well. “I had not expected that Dark Side presence to be you, ape.”“You know this guy, Dad?” Chaya asks, tone wary.“Fought him before, back home. He was trying to steal Bane's holocron.” you answer, and as if on cue you feel your mind link with Chaya's own. But you didn't connect to her, feeling Bane has reached out. Combining the versions of himself in both your minds, drawing upon both of your power to manifest physically. The figure freezing in place as he sees Bane appear.“Well well. Shaping and guiding them-” Bane starts, only to be interrupted.“Guiding them WRONG. The Dark side isn't a tool to be controlled, a will to force submission upon. The true path is to serve the will of darkness. To glorify it through our works and art. And by doing so, it gives us power, and granting even life eternal.” Momin says, arms spread wide as he speaks. “Empires have risen and fallen since my birth. Great Ages have come and gone, but here I stand. Eternal.”“You're nothing more than a spirit possessing some poor fool who isn't strong enough to resist your influence.” Bane replies, his own image starting to fade. But you can see his smirk, clear as day. “These Saiyans will show you what true power looks like.”He then vanishes, returning back to the depths of your separate minds as the link he established vanishes. Crimson blade hissing to life as she takes her Djem So stance.“I've got this one, Dad.” she says confidently, taking a step, then two forward. You step back, leaning back against the wall by the elevator.“Oh? You think you can take me alone, little girl?” he taunts, then raises his left hand. Firing a storm of lightning from his fingertips, only for Chaya to level her left hand at him as well. Drawing that lightning IN, absorbing it into herself. As you watch her lightning-given scars on her arms begin glowing with that power, first up to her elbow, then shoulder, then the scars on her eyes and down her other arm as she absorbs his power. Seeing this attack didn't work, Momin ends the attack and leaps. Chaya brings her saber up, clashing with his own. The power of his attack nearly pushing her blade back into her before with a roar Chaya ascends. Her fiery aura blazing up around her as she takes on the power of Super Saiyan God, that divine might enabling her to easily repel him and launch him backwards. Momin flips, landing on his feet and sliding back until one heel hits his throne. “What is this? You monkeys turn yellow, not red.”“Seems you've not been watching my career.” Chaya retorts with a smirk, unleashing his absorbed power back at him along with her own lightning as well. But not as a wild storm of lightning, but a singular, blinding bolt of power. Momin, in his reverse grip brings his blade up, his left also grabbing the hilt as he tries to resist the singular-concentrated blast of lightning. “Guess I'll give you the crash course!”cont
>>6446426Ending her lightning she leaps up, shifting her grip slightly. Watching her spin towards him, realizing she's building momentum for the Su Ma style. Momin plants his feet, swinging up at her. Only for Chaya to deflect his sword with hers, flipping over him and landing on the throne as she swings back with a backhanded slash at him. Momin turns slightly, raising his blade and intercepting his own. But he can't withstand her power, the blow taking him off his feet. Launching him away, smashing back-first into the wall. However, she doesn't immediately go after him, as to your surprise she suddenly powers down.“Chaya?” you ask, immediately worried.“Dad, can't you... Feel it?” she asks, eyes blazing even brighter, glowing with the Dark Side's power. “This place, it's... It's like a focus. The entire castle, it... It's not a castle. But an instrument.”And as you watch, the air itself begins to shimmer around her, feeling the darkness surge and swell within her. You and Momin both watch as your daughter draws upon the darkness, channeled into her from the fortress. Her dark powers rising, surging to match Momin's strength, then easily surpass it. Turning and fixing him with her gaze, then smirking.“Let's see who is truly worthy to wield this power.” she says retaking her Djem So stance with her blade held overhead. Momin retakes his own, the air crackling with barely-contained tension and power as your daughter and Momin both draw upon this dark castle's power.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 264 paused-
>>6446427And that's it for this time, everyone enjoy the episode so far? Ready to witness Chaya's growth, to see just how much stronger she is now? Do you think she can defeat Momin when drawing upon the castle's design as he is, or will Momin still have the advantage with his lifetimes of experience? Or will this darkness be too much for Chaya, forcing you to intervene to save her from the darkness again? Only time will tell, find out next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!
>>6446429I'll say this, experience doesn't matter when it's filtered through the lens of a critically flawed philosophy like Momin's. He'll learn the difference between a pawn and a player, that much I'm sure of.As for whether or not Chaya can handle the Dark Side here, well, let's just say I'm glad we didn't just let her run off alone.I'm also glad we didn't obliterate the place because goddamn are Khyber crystals a rare find, not to mention there's at least one lightsaber hilt assembly up for grabs. The collection of extremely dangerous weapons grows slowly, but steadily...
>>6446426>“What is this? You monkeys turn yellow, not red.”oh its SO OVER for this sorry bastard lol>>6446429assuming that Chaya doesn't go mad with power and let the dark side use her instead of the other way around, she's beating Momin into paste.
>>6446429>And that's it for this time, everyone enjoy the episode so far?Yes. Very much.>Ready to witness Chaya's growth, to see just how much stronger she is now?Yes. This is very interesting to see. The nature of this castle and what it can offer to Chaya. >Do you think she can defeat Momin when drawing upon the castle's design as he is, or will Momin still have the advantage with his lifetimes of experience? She is a Goddess of Victory. I think she will win this. Though perhaps Momin will show us some creative and new ways to use power that the castle gathers and offers.>Or will this darkness be too much for Chaya, forcing you to intervene to save her from the darkness again?I wonder about this. Will this darkness try to take over Chaya? Probably it will, but she is stronger than before, so I think she can overcome it.>Only time will tell, find out next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!I can’t wait.
One of my players was slated to not be present for the irl dnd session, but ended up showing so everyone got to run the side mission in the campaign as the Minotaur King Mogis' minions in the battle that made him king over the previous ruler King Gornog. If anyone's wondering, he's based of Nobunaga, specifically the Samurai Warriors 2 version.>>6446432We'll see. It may depend on who's will is stronger, Chaya's or the Dark Side's. And who the dark favors.Yeah, the cluster there's MASSIVE, it's bigger than a fully transformed Berserker God Karn. We'll see if Chaya doesn't destroy it in the battle.>>6446434If she transformed, could have quite easily overpowered him. As we saw. However, she doesn't want to JUST win. She wants to annihilate him. We'll see if she can handle it.>>6446436Glad you're enjoying. The castle's got two towers because it's essentially a giant tuning fork for the Dark Side. This will be a good test. To see how truly strong Chaya has become beyond physical strength.Same. I'm very excited, next session's going to be interesting. Might offer it from Chaya's pov instead of Karn's, to see what happens from her point of view.
>>6446511>One of my players was slated to not be present for the irl dnd session, but ended up showingAlways nice to see tabletop sessions pan out well. Must be a Pantera fan.>Might offer it from Chaya's pov instead of Karn's, to see what happens from her point of view.Always down to play as Chaya. Her skillset and mentality are always a treat to explore.
>>6446517True. And I'd designed this module for one less player, but since everyone showed up everyone got to play a level 11 minion. The most broken is either the level 11 Wraith Shadow Monk, or the Erinyes Conquest Paladin. Let them see what boss encounters and their broken mechanics they'll be in for.>pic relatedOne of his hardest designs, and I won't say it's impossible.>A chunkChaya's going to try and take the ENTIRE crystal, not just a chunk. The superweapons that could make. He's got a belt of them, if one or two are destroyed there'll probably be others.No. He designed this castle specifically this way for what's in the bottom level that Karn could sense. And once Chaya reaches the bottom, well... She'll have a choice to make.Having Chaya's pov is always a treat, as it is with most of the other characters too. I don't make enough opportunities to explore them.
>>6446511>We'll see if Chaya doesn't destroy it in the battle.Hopefully not.Remember the Old Guardian (Yoda)? If I remember right, wasn't he was the first one to teach Karn about the Force? He also trained children in Su Ma. That includes little Chaya. What do you think his opinion would be about Karn’s and Chaya’s involvement and connection to the Dark Side?
>>6447088>Balanced, Karn is, though sad his dabblings are.>FUCK THE WHAT, CHAYA
Surprised nobody has ever tried to buy off Karn to date."Walk away, and I'll pay you enough that your family will have anything they could ever want for ten generations."It might make him pause long enough to consider it.
>>6447520While the concept of money isn't beyond Karn, I'm pretty sure most people understand that he and his entire race are currently bankrolled by arguably the most successful business venture in recorded history.I would genuinely like to see anybody besides Vox offer Karn a sum large enough to even consider that deal without wishing it into existence and subsequently making it worthless via inflation.
>>6447096lol. This could be his answer indeed.>>6447520Can you pay off everybody? Imagine paying Cumber not to fight and be a peaceful person 24/7. I'm not sure it would work.
>>6447520like >>6447543 said, Vox has enough "fuck you" money in the piggy bank alone to feed the saiyan race for 5, maybe even 10 years straight. And there's some things in the universe that money can't buy. It'd be easier to use that hypothetical money to engineer an escape pod to the next universe. And even then, you're not 100% safe if he's determined to GET you
Intermission out soon, hopefully! Freeza vs Kars, we'll see how the former emperor handles such an opponent, as opposed to how Karn did. Meanwhile Freeza's playing defense as well, protecting everything he's trying to achieve.>>6447088Yes he was. As for Karn, he'd reluctantly approve of what he's managed. By not being consumed by the darkness, but wouldn't approve of using it so flippantly.>>6447520Would have possibly worked earlier, back before Karn and Freeza got close. Speaking of, intermission out tonight hopefully.>>6447629Cumber likes fighting more than money, so pay off no. Unless by pay you mean point him at a much better fight instead of yourself, in which case he'd accept that payment.>>6447672Vox has crazy money, but even he didn't try and buy Karn or even really buy Chaya out of their PTO positions. He understands having the PTO's support and that organization more closely-entwined with his own is beneficial. As long as Chaya'd choose his side, and fight for him to keep what she has.
-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 264 Intermission-AGE 759, BEERUS' PLANET“SHYAAAAAA! HYAAAAH! HRYAAAA!” you roar, swinging repeatedly at the figure of Whis. Your angelic instructor easily weaving your attacks with his Ultra Instinct, you studying his movements as he seemingly effortlessly dodges everything you throw at him. You driving him back and back, waiting for his counter you know is coming. Your body ready, or so you hope. But before you see his arms move, before you even see him chamber it, his fist lands cleanly on your nose. Snapping your head back, sending you flying. Soaring from the training area through the forest, out over the lake and only managing to stop on the other side. Chest heaving as you recompose yourself, Whis appearing right before you.“Not quite. Perhaps if I slow it down, your body can react next time?” he says, almost to himself as he looks at you. Breathing heavily for a few seconds before recomposing. “Are you ready to continue, Freeza?”“Of course.” you reply, retaking your stance Karn taught you. You are Freeza, former emperor of most of the known universe turned disciple God of Destruction for the Seventh Universe. After the Tournament of Power, you'd returned to your training in the divine realm under the angel's tutelage. Raising you to the appropriate level to begin training to be a Destroyer. “Whenever you're- Whis?”You freeze, eyes going wide as the angel's body starts to fade away. And, at the same time, you sense Beerus' power just... Vanish! Whis, immediately realizing what's happening conjures his staff, stopping and rewinding time with his Temporal Do-Over. Rewinding time around the two of you, his body returning as Beerus' power reappears. Quickly going back the full three minutes, his expression deadly serious.“Go. Save the Supreme Kai, whatever it takes.” he orders as his time rewind ends, you nodding and raising your right hand to your forehead. Reaching out to try and find Kars' energy, as he's far stronger than Nahare's own. Only to suddenly feel a SURGE of power from him, something you'd missed as you'd been so focused on your fight with Whis trying to obtain Ultra Instinct yourself.“What the hell is he doing?” you mutter, focusing on Kars' massive power as Shin conjures a projection of what's happening. And there you see it. He's powered up, looking like a pink version of Broly's big green Primal form. Then, with a thought, you're gone. Leaving the Destroyer's world, instantly appearing on the Sacred World of the Kais between Kars and the other Kai.
>>6447900“F-Freeza?” Nahare asks, the Supreme Kai sounding confused. “Why are you here? Aren't you training with Whis to-?”“Run.” you tell them simply, immediately ascending to your Golden form as you spread your arms wide. Confronting him, but realizing immediately that this form won't be nearly enough to stop what he is now. “Well well, Kars. Seems you've been busy.”“Freeza.” he says, recognizing you for a moment. But then that recognition's just... Gone. As you look into his eyes, you no longer see the clever, scheming being you're used to. But a raw, ravenous hunger as he suddenly lunges at you. Swinging his right not in a fist, but like his hand's clawed as he swipes it at your chest. Immediately realizing you're going to have to go all-out, you ascend in a flash. Powering up directly to Black Freeza, you step into his attack. Stopping his right with your left forearm against his wrist, twisting your hips and delivering a massive right straight to his chest. Sending him flying back, yet as he's sent away you wince. Looking at your fist with dawning horror as where you'd made contact is just... gone. As if he'd dissolved the outer layer of your hand in some sort of acid, the same with your forearm where you'd touched him.“Be careful, Freeza. Pillar Men feed through direct contact with their bodies.” Elder Kai suddenly calls to you, his dislike of “ningen” like yourself not enough to keep him from realizing why you, who were training with Whis, would suddenly be sent here right after Kars' transformation. “He copied this form from the ni-Saiyan, Meloka to match Karn's power! Be on your guard!”“She matched Karn?” you wonder to yourself as Kars lands on all fours, immediately springing back to his feet and rocketing at you. So, without hesitation you raise your right hand, firing off a massive wave of energy. Not trying to obliterate him, but to push him back. And it works, for a few seconds. Before he powers up, creating a Barrier around himself to push through your attack with. “Tch. Well, this could prove interesting. Let's see how you handle THIS, you mindless brute!”
>>6447902Ending your blast, you instead reach out and grab him THROUGH his shield with your telekinesis. Left arm out as you use your telekinesis, you pull him to you. Only to charge your right fist up with ki, as Karn'd shown you, and slam it into his jaw as he gets close. Your heavy blow slamming him straight down into the ground. His body cratering the ground, yet you're not done yet. Immediately grabbing his ankle, you then toss him up into the air.“SHYAAAAA!!” you roar, firing a barrage of Death Beams through his elbows, knees and throat. But you don't stop there, unleashing a barrage of Death Beams at him. Firing hundreds of beams through him, ripping his body to shreds in seconds. Ending your attack, his carcass crashes to the ground in a heap.“Is he...? Did you kill him?” Nahare asks, sounding hesitantly hopeful.“I told you to run!” you shout at him and the others, Kars' body leaping up off the ground with a snarl and lunging. Body regenerating as he rushes towards you. So you kick off the ground, sidestepping and dashing to your left. He flips, landing on his hands and pushing off the ground where you'd been standing, lunging feet-first towards you now. With a thought you focus, aura blazing before condensing it into the Energy Body, catching his feet in your hands as you use Karn's technique to shield yourself from his body devouring your own. Heels carving twin trenches through the ground, slowly sliding to a stop and tossing him straight up into the air. Where his arms quickly change into wings, flapping them and launching a score of feathers at you. Which all shift into fanged fish, teeth gnashing at the air as they close in on you. “Tch! Hrmph!”Exhaling you kick off the ground, launching yourself off the ground into the opposite direction of him. Keeping your distance, creating a pair of spinning saucers. Throwing your Death Saucers at him. The blades cutting through the air, slicing off his wings before he can launch more feathers-to-fish at you. Only for them to both shift from wings into snakes, lunging back at him and recombining with him back into his arms. Flying at you, rushing again like a hungry beast. His speed INCREASING, closing the distance before you can do anything more than raise your arms defensively. Taking his punch on your crossed arm, then firing a left at his jaw as he does the same. Trading shots, you weaving and deflecting his attacks as he tanks your own, slowly eating your energy fueling your Energy Body with each contact. Slowly devouring your energy as your strength starts to plummet. Already exhausted from your sparring match and the day's training with Whis, you're already nearly at your limits. A heavy blow breaking through your guard, slamming into your jaw.
>>6447904“Khhh!” you exclaim, taking a heavy half-dozen shots, before you can re-raise your defenses. Raising both arms as he goes on a bestial offense, his attacks seemingly coming faster and faster and faster. Only to realize he's not getting stronger, your strength is failing. You can't keep this level up for long, you're about to fully exhaust yourself. You have to do something, and fast! “HRRRYAAAAAAAA!!!”Firing off an Explosive Wave that shatters your own Energy Body, the surging power blasts him back off of you. Your energy, you notice, having reverted to gold as you'd powered back down already. Giving you an opening, leaving you with only one shot as you raise your right hand. If you don't stop him here and now, he could rampage out of control and destroy everything you're working towards. And you won't let that happen, no matter the cost. Leveling your right hand at him, focusing everything you've got left, you use the one technique you'd hoped to not use until you'd mastered it. But desperate times call for desperate measures.“I'm sorry, Kars. HAKAI!” you say, converting your remaining energy into not only divine energy, but the energy of Destruction. Firing off a massive orb of elemental destruction straight at him. Planning to fully engulf his body in a single attack, to finish this. Something you'll have to use Namek's Dragon Balls to undo, but you're left with no other choice. Firing the sphere at him, Kars' eyes going wide as the attack slams into him. Erasing his body completely as he screams, his cry evaporating into nothing as your strength fails completely. The attack vanishing completely after a moment along with Kars himself, you dropping down to a knee. Gasping for air, only after a moment to hear it. Looking over, you see the fish he'd fired earlier flopping around, all bouncing together into a single pile. Where their flesh turns into a sort of green goo, mixing together and re-forming Kars' head! He's still alive, and even worse, still transformed as well. You watch in completely exhausted horror as he regenerates his body, rising and walking over to you. His eyes showing no recognition, no remorse as he looks down at you. And begins reaching down, clearly intending to end your life, and eat you. And not necessarily in that order.
>>6447905“No! Not like this!” you think to yourself, willing your body to move, to act, to do SOMETHING! Karn wouldn't go out like this, and neither will you! You have to fight back. And with the last of your strength, fire a pair of Eye Beams from your eyes, catching the predator by surprise as you go to blind him. Your beams piercing through his head, destroying his eyes and rendering him blind momentarily. Kars howls in pain, recoiling back as his hands instinctively go to his face. Leaving him wide open, giving you one final, desperate shot to stop him. You can't stop him. But you know who can.Raising your right hand back to your forehead, you focus on Whis' energy. Kicking off the ground and lunging at Kars, your palm hitting his chest as you teleport yourself and Kars off the Sacred World of the Kais, back to Beerus' world. Where you collapse, gasping hard as Kars continues to flail around a moment.“Oh my. It would seem he's lost all ability to reason.” Whis says as Kars' eyes regenerate again, he then stops moving and thrashing violently. Turning his focus back to you, lip curling in a snarl as he draws his right back into a fist. You wonder why Whis isn't stepping in yet, isn't doing anything. But right as Kars swings down for a killing blow, suddenly, you feel it. Something you've never felt before suddenly surges within you, and your body just... MOVES. One moment you're on the ground, the next you're somehow on your feet. Kars' energy behind you as you look down curiously at your hands, feeling this unfamiliar strength surging throughout your weakened, exhausted frame. Granting you new strength, power beyond everything short of your Black form. “It would seem. That our little melee isn't over, between you and I.” you say as you turn, grinning as this newfound power flows through you. “Now you face Ultra Instinct Freeza!”“Ohhh? Well now, this IS quite the surprise.” Whis says, his voice suddenly giddy from behind Kars before his grin turns almost malicious. “Go on. Show me the results of your training.”-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 264 Intermission End-

Letting his body rampage against Karn's Supreme Instinct, Karn and Meloka learning far more of how the Supreme Kai in training can fight. But with that battle ended, Kars regaining full control of himsemf and far greater control of the form, he departed. Only for Karn and Meloka to join Chaya on planet Mustafar, the site of her upcoming tournament to find a worthy boyfriend from across the universe, and discovered an ancient dark side temple. Exploring the fortress-like structure, Karn and Chaya ventured into the castle, finding a powerful, ancient dark side entity old enough for Bane to recognize. Chaya stepping up to battle Momin. And as we rejoin Karn, Chaya has recognized what the structure was designed for. Dropping her Saiyan transformations in favor of drawing up on the Dark Side surging through the structure.“Let's see who's truly worthy to wield this power.” Chaya says, retaking her Djem So stance. Blade held horizontally over her head in both hands, knees slightly bent and ready. Momin, meanwhile, draws a SECOND crimson blade from those at his belt, the second weapon igniting with a hiss as well.“You wield Djem So well. But let's see how well your Djem So stands before my Jar'Kai.” he says, taking a two-sword stance. Both blades held mostly horizontally, his right handed blade defending his chest, the left held overhead in an almost-Juyo style grip. “Now, come. Moving to the door, blocking the only entrance to the room. Or, only exit, depending on how you view it. To which you smirk slightly, knowing he's got your back. You are Chaya, champion of Dreadzone, Goddess of Victory, a monument of self-improvement and overcoming adversity. But right now, you're a living conduit for the massive storm of sinister power channeled through this ancient castle. Facing a being of unimaginable age, yet you're not afraid. If anything, you're ready. Filled with the certainty that you'll prevail, you move. Surging forward with the Falling Avalanche power attack, wielding your blade in both hands, Momin brings both of his blades up in an 'X'. Bracing himself to catch the power of your blade, thinking he can withstand your power.“HRRAAAA!” you roar, swinging down with your full power. But, to your surprise, right as your blow's about to land, there's a surge of dark power into your combatant. His strength rising to match your own as your blades clash, halting your assault. Yet even with this surge in strength your power blow forces him down to a knee, and you immediately capitalize on the opening. Before he can recover, you kick forward. Driving your left knee into his helmeted face, snapping his head back and cracking the armor then going for another heavy overhead. Momin doesn't try and block this time, instead deactivating his blades and rolling aside. Narrowly avoiding your crashing blow, he reactivates his blades. Swinging his right handed sword in a backhand at your ankles, which you leap over. Jumping towards him as he brings his other blade up in a thrust at your chest. “Tch!”With a thought you twist with the Su Ma, weaving the thrust and landing a spinning back left hook. Your heel crashing into the back of his helmet, sending him flying and crashing into the far wall.“Kuuuuh!?” he wheezes, bouncing off and landing down on a knee. But you don't let up, leaping across the room and swinging down with another Falling Avalanche signature strike. Only for him to again meet you with a thrust as you close in. Forcing you to dodge with the Su Ma, spinning around the outside of his thrust as you deflect his blade to your right. But he follows up with his left, thrusting for where your spin would take you. And as you spin, seeing the blade aimed at your chest you reach out with your left hand. Using your telekinesis to grip the blade, stopping yourself short, holding the blade back from your body. Then you try and thrust with your own, Momin pulling his blade back and swatting yours past his shoulder while again thrusting with his right. Forcing you to leap back, just out of range as he goes on the attack.cont
>>6448491Momin begins pressing the assault, his twin blades flashing and spinning through complicated attack patterns. Hitting at two places simultaneously, high and low, left and right, or one side and your front; he keeps both blades constantly spinning and moving. Harrying you relentlessly as his power swells, the darkness fueling his attack as he begins pushing you. Forcing you back a couple steps before you change your stance once more. Turning your body so your shoulder is towards him, holding your blade in one hand. Shifting your grip so your index finger is along the handle, taking the dueling style Bane taught you, Makashi. Remembering his words as you fight.“Makashi isn't about power or domination but skill. In using your blade like a needle, like a surgigal tool and not a chopping instrument.” he'd said, words echoing in your mind as you fight Momin. Using jabs, subtle feints, light cuts and parries instead of heavy slashes and chops. Controlling the space between you both with your feet, allowing you to match his dual swords with just your one. His attack's ferocity backing you up several steps before you find the rhythm. And begin pushing him back.“Makashi as well? You're full of surprises.” Momin exclaims as you push him back nearly to his throne, the ancient Sith disengaging and backflipping over it. Putting some space between you both, swords raised defensively. “I must admit, you possess some skill. But with you suppressing the Dark Side, not letting it wield you, you are limiting your power. You will never beat me like this.”But what now? What do you do?>Keep up the pressure, and keep switching between the styles Bane taught you. >>6448492“You think that limits my power? No, it only limits my arrogance.” you say, taking a deep breath in. Then with a sharp exhale blaze your aura up around you. Condensing it down, forming your Energy Body around yourself as you retake your Djem So stance. “I'm going to crush you.”“Interesting. Mirroring my aggressive, Orbalisk-enabled Djem So.” Bane's spectral voice echoes in your mind as Momin retakes his stance. Slowly circling out from behind the throne, you keeping your feet pointed towards him, body not tense but relaxed yet ready. “Yes, crush him. Show this puppet what REAL power looks like!”“HRRRAAAAA!!” you roar, leaping recklessly, headlong at him. Once more using the Falling Avalanche power move, swinging down with all your power. But he's no longer interested in facing you head-on, trying to outmuscle you. Instead Momin spins counterclockwise around your leap, his left handed blade swinging at your chest under your arms as you swing down. But you make no effort to defend yourself, letting his blade's glancing shot land against your side. But as you land you hear him inhale sharply through his mask in shock, clearly not having expected your Energy Body to tank the attack so well. His weapon carved a chunk from your energy, but with a thought it regenerates as you turn, swinging your own backhanded strike at him. Forcing him to bring both blades up defensively to intercept your strike.“Armor? With your own body's energy? Fascinating.” Momin says, studying your Energy Body with an intense gaze between your attacks. You have him at a full retreat now, keeping one blade back to block, to defend himself entirely as his other blade flicks out at you. At your hands, knees, armpits, anywhere where traditional armor would be thin or nonexistent. Yet his saber cuts only incidental, shallow cuts through your energy that you rapidly regenerate. But as he does, you ignore his strikes entirely. Focused only on keeping your Energy Body going, and attacking relentlessly with your Djem so. Heavy blow after heavy blow landing against his guard, to the point after thirty seconds he can't even fire back any more. Using both his sabers to catch yours each time, the strength of both his arms against your own as the dark power surges within you. Drawing upon your hate, your anger, your old pains, everything to put this guy down. But then between heavy overheads you see your opening. And as you swing down again you twist your wrists at the last second, turning your blade to try and cut his left wrist off. Monin sees what you're doing and tries to pull back, but he's too late. Not too late to save his wrist, but he loses the blade as yours cuts clean through the hilt of his off-handed weapon.cont
>>6448523“Khhh!” he seethes, taking his one blade in both hands as your follow-up blow hammers down in quick succession. Launching five consecutive heavy overhead blows, the fifth knocking him off his feet and down on his back.“It's over.” you say, raising your blade and swinging it down at him. But, right as your blade's about to make contact, you feel a surge of dark power. And as you watch, Momin somehow uses the dark side's power itself to mirror your Energy Body! Forming a sheathing cloak of hate around his body, shielding him from your finishing blow! Your blade glancing off his armored being. “WHAT?!”“Quite the impressive technique.” he says, pushing himself upright, standing and drawing another hilt off his belt. The crimson blade igniting with an angry hiss. “So, what else can you do?”Well, this can't be good. What now?>Keep up the pressure, you have faith in your endurance to outlast him. But you're too dangerous to be left alive.”You then deactivate your blade, returning it to its place. The dark lord, sensing the change in your demeanor immediately lunges forward, blades flashing. But you reach out, grabbing his neck. Your telekinetic grip going through his armor as if it weren't even there, as it can only shield against physical attacks. Catching him completely by surprise as you grab his neck and begin squeezing down.“Die.” you say, trying to crush his neck. But he doesn't surrender immediately, dropping both blades as his hands reflexively go to his throat. However, you can also feel his dark will, the power of the castle surging into him to try and preserve him. Bolstering his strength to keep you from crushing him as he releases strangled gasps from behind his mask.“I-! Won't-!” he chokes out, leveling a hand at you. Firing a storm of lightning, but you don't even react. Letting it glance off your shielding ki, skating across its surface but unable to reach you through it as you keep crushing the life out of him. “I am-! Momin! I! Cannot-!”CRUNCHYou hear it the moment his neck finally gives, you overpowering him and crushing his neck completely. His body goes limp, faint gurgles coming out from behind the mask as the dark power leaves his dying body. His faint ki signature fading out completely, dying there held in your telekinetic grip. You then release him, his body flopping down onto the ground. As it does, however, his helmet comes off. Rolling a foot or two away from the body, before, to your shock, the eye spots in the helmet's visor begin glowing red. The castle's focused darkness surging, shadows gathering around him as he somehow stands without a body! Congealed darkness forming a humanoid body now, as Momin continues to speak from the helmet. His voice now distant and echoing.“Fools. Did you really think you killed the REAL Momin? That was simply a body double, a puppet I control with this helmet. I am in the depths of this keep, and the ritual is now complete!” he says, and before you've fully processed this, your father's blurred forward. Grabbing the helmet in both hands, crushing it flat before obliterating it with a flash of ki in his hands.“We need to move, now.” he says, a hint of worry in his tone. “You can feel that, right?”“Feel what?” you ask, and right as you do, suddenly, you can feel it as well. An icy chill through the Dark Side permeating this castle, something you've never felt before. Something powerful, far more powerful than Momin is coming.cont
>>6448563“D-Dad? What-? What the hell IS that?” you ask, shivering. But he doesn't answer, instead raising his right hand to his forehead, focusing. Realizing he's about to go down, you reach out. Grabbing him with your left, using your telekinesis to snatch two of Momin's sabers and pulling them to your right. The metal hilts hitting your palm as your father finds the REAL Momin, leaving the throne room behind. Reappearing inside what appears to be a cave of some sort, walls inscribed with runes and a large stone in the center. And an identical mask to the one your father crushed up in the castle's throne room is on another man's head, this one radiating with power far above the one you'd faved before. His ki far stronger than the one above, this must be the REAL Momin.“Greetings, pretenders. The Dark Side has guided you both here, to this place. To witness the truth!” he declares, eyes glowing as the runes on the walls ignite in orange-red fire. “The door to the true Dark Side is open. And the warrior the Dark Side was denied, a being who should have lived but hasn't, will now come. Use my body as the instrument of your will, and sculpt your ultimate warrior! Bring forth the terror of your Chosen One!”And as you watch, a surge of fiery energy ignites from that excavated stone. Consuming Momin instantly, who screams as his body is erased completely. Only his helmet is left, bouncing off the stone floor and rolling away, out of sight. But you can't focus on that, as that cold power surges higher. Whatever he reached out to, it's coming! And it is far stronger than Momin ever was.“What... What IS that?” Bane whispers in your thoughts, the ancient Sith even sounding terrified as that icy dread you sensed earlier fully arrives. And, from the depths of the burning gateway, another figure begins to materialize. Dressed in all black, wearing robes over some sort of armor, a helmet and mask reflecting the fires around you all as it steps through.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3K_Ey6579g“Hooooooooh. Pahhhhhhhhh.” the being breathes through its helm, sounding almost like a sort of life support system as the massive being fully steps through the gateway and into this world. He stands even taller than your father, stepping forward. You see yourself and your father in the reflection of his helmet's eyes, the skull-like helmet completely obscuring whoever's under that suit. Yet, something about them just feels... WRONG. Their ki is virtually nonexistent, a tiny, flickering flame barely clinging to life. However, their power in the Dark Side is IMMENSE! Stronger than you, your father, and Momin all combined! Their rhythmic breathing the only sound in this dark cave, the symbols and unknown language glowing on the walls as the light in the rest of the room goes out. Leaving the only light coming from the runes, and his scarlet blade.“Tch! HAAAAA!” you exclaim, clenching your fists and immediately powering up. Ascending to your Super Saiyan Blue form, your azure aura re-illuminating the darkness. “So, who're you supposed to be?”But the figure doesn't talk, doesn't even seem to react to your taunt. But you can feel their attention on you, watching your every move. So, with a thought draw your saber with telekinesis, pulling it into your hand and igniting it. Your own crimson blade springing to life. However, as it does, the being's focus immediately snaps to your hilt. Looking from it to you, then taking their saber in both hands. Still keeping a low guard, but no longer holding their blade in a single hand. You take your Djem So stance, blade held overhead as you stare him down. Feeling the tension reach a breaking point, and you lunge.“HAAAAA!” you shout, leaping and crossing the distance. Swinging down in that same opening attack once more, but he brings his blade up. Stopping you mid-air, blocking your blade with his own. But not just blocking, he SWATS your blade aside with casual ease then reverses his swing, aiming a decapitating cut at your neck. Your eyes widen, and with only a split-second to react you flip back. Narrowly dodging his attack, feeling the heat of his blade by your neck as you narrowly avoid a lethal blow. Flipping away from him, landing on your feet and free hand, your other blade held out to the side. Pushing yourself up only to see he's coming, closing the distance and tries to sweep you with his blade. You don't try and block in this compromised position, instead leaping back. Dodging his second slash, landing back on your feet then rushing in again.cont
>>6448618Your second approach is far more cautious, knowing you can't easily overpower him with even the strength of Super Saiyan Blue. You'd underestimated him due to his almost-nonexistent ki, but his power isn't tied to his physical might. You come in again, feet planted and attack with a powerful Djem So combination. Overhead power blow into a reverse upwards swing into a pair of perpendicular downwards slashes. But he deflects them all with casual ease. Even worse, he stops them all while holding his blade in ONE HAND! Even when you try feinting an overhead at his right shoulder, only to twist it into a chop down at his left he blocks, immediately retaliating with an overhead his own you're forced to block. The being then takes a small spinning flourish to bring his blade back centered, seemingly completely unphased by your attacks. You need something else, something to turn the tide. But then an idea comes to mind, leveling your left hand at his chest.“Death Beam!” you shout, firing the beam of energy at his glowing chestpiece. Which he brings his blade up to block, while you simultaneously swing for his left shoulder as well, where he can't bring his blade to in time. But, instead of stopping you sword to sword, he catches your Death Beam with his blade, but catches your blade with telekinesis. Stopping it, then as your beam ends switching to a telekinetic choke. Lifting you up off your feet, only to push you away straight back into your father as he was closing in, clearly intending to join in. He catches you, you sliding to a stop as the being resumes his low guard with one hand on his blade.“We should fight him together.” your dad says, tone worried. But you shake your head.“No. This is my fight. My challenge.” you reply, shaking your head. “I have to do this.”“Then stop holding back.” your father tells you seriously as he sets you down. “Fight like you mean it.”“Right.” you reply, taking a deep breath in, then sighing out. And, drawing upon everything you've got, power up to your maximum. Ascending past the first form beyond Blue, ascending all the way to the power you achieved by absorbing the Spirit Bomb. Your strength beyond strength, the power you named Afterglow. As it shines even after the power you'd gathered from the Spirit Bomb has faded away. “HRRRRRYAAAAA! HAAAAAAAA!!”And in a blinding flash you ascend, transcending your limits. Your power skyrocketing so hard the entire chamber shakes, your foe's cape sent back snapping and billowing dramatically as you power up. But he remains unmoving, resolute. Watching you prepare yourself to come after him. cont
>>6448619You retake your Djem So stance, then approach carefully. One step at a time, judging your distance, his angles, where and how his blade could come at you from. But as you study him, approaching cautiously, he suddenly swings. You hadn't thought you were in range, but you are. Raising your weapon, blocking his with your own. Taking his strike on yours, meeting his power evenly. Your blades locking, neither of you able to overpower the other.“Tchh! Khhhh!” you growl through clenched teeth, trying to push him back. His breathing doesn't change, but you feel his arm beginning to move back. You're doing it, you're overpowering him!Only for him to take his weapon in both hands, and start not only matching your power but starting to push you ever so slowly back.“You've got to be kidding! Just how strong ARE you?!” you exclaim, disengaging from the bind and going on the attack. He's still stronger, but you're far faster than you were before, launching a flurry of attacks. Yet, somehow, despite your speed outmatching his so fully, he always seems to get his blade just enough to catch your own. No wasted movements, his blade kept close to his chest. Protecting the glowing lights there, ensuring you never get a straight shot at that panel. So, you begin targeting it. But after a few heartbeats and several dozen, if not scores of attack, realize that it's futile. It's too small an area, and he's always moving just before you start swinging. But as you change your target to his head, and just before you start swinging there, you see it. His arm moves before you even fully commit to DOING that attack. Meeting your blade with his own, stopping your far-faster attack short. And that's when you realize it, realize what's happening! One of your Death Beams getting redirected into his chest, in what you know could be a fatal blow. And as the vision ends, you feel your fury SURGE! Thrusting your left at him, unleashing a powerful telekinesis push. One clearly intending to smash him to bits against the wall, to smush him into nothing. However, your power only forces him back a yard or two, heavy boots sliding across the rocky cavern floor. Deactivating your weapon now that you've made space, you then level both hands at him. Your scars glowing azure as you draw upon your rage, your hate, your self-loathing and your spite. Unleashing a storm of your dark lightning at him, the energy crackling through the air. He tries to defend himself with his blade, but he can't stop all of it. Your lightning arcing through the air and his suited body, watching the lights flash erratically on his suit. But he draws his hands back, deactivating his own blade as he gathers his dark power. Then thrusts both hands forward, unleashing the single most powerful telekinetic blast you've ever felt. “WOAH?!!”The force of the wave slams into you and your father, launching you both back away from him. You hear Karn tumbling behind you, as you flip and land on your feet. Sliding to a stop, gathering your ki into your hands, ready to keep up the fight. However, as you rise, you see he's down on a knee. And audibly hearing his breathing's labored, damaged by what your lightning did to him.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSmUq2QXpPY“How do you like that?! Doesn't matter if you can see my attacks coming if you can't stop them! SCATTERSHOT!!” you shout while tossing your right hand's orb at him. Yet, even injured he's not defeated, raising his left hand and stopping it with telekinesis. Only for you to throw the second as well. But as he tries to stop that one, you detonate it this time. The Scattershot erupting into hundreds of smaller blasts all arcing for him. His telekinesis stops around half of them this time, but the other half reach him. Detonating against and all around him, engulfing him in the erupting blasts. Then you do the same with the first he stopped, splitting it and sending all of those after him as well. But you're not done yet.cont
>>6448666Quickly gathering your energy into your pointer fingers as you cross your arms, you then fire off a pair of Death Slashes joined together in an 'X' shape into the blast cloud. Only for his blade to hiss back to life, the dark armored warrior rising and catching your attack with his energy weapon. Swatting your slashing blades up into the cavern ceiling, slashing deep into the stone. Breathing labored as he rises, unsteady, but still standing. But before you can react he reaches out with his left, and you feel your entire body engulfed in his telekinetic grip. Grabbing you right off your feet and pulling you to him, the man raising his weapon. His upper arm unable to rise higher than his own shoulder, but swinging his blade down with considerable power. So you force him to divert it, glaring and firing twin Eye Beams at his own eyes. Forcing him to adjust the angle of his blade, turning what would have been a strike into a block to intercept your Eye Beams. Your energy angling off his blade and slamming into the stone floor, you realizing he could angle them back into you.So, you stop that attack, and instead reactivate your Energy Body. Covering ALMOST all of your body in your shielding ki, focusing on the variant you and your dad discovered. Channeling your lightning once more, letting it arc across your body as he swings down again. His blade smashing into your armor, cutting far deeper than Momin's did with his attack, nearly reaching your body instantly. But as you reach up to grab him, he's already pushing you back with his telekinesis. Clearly not wanting another dose of your lightning, tossing you out of grabbing range. So, you end your shield and the attack, then launch another storm at him the moment you land.Only for this time the dark side surges and he reaches out, forcing your lightning down into a ball near his hands. Wheezing in what clearly sounds like agony, his power only rising as he gets more damaged, as his breathing gets worse, as he gets nearer to dying. The Dark Side fueling his anger, making him even stronger. But the stronger he gets, the stronger you get as well. Drawing upon the same rage, the same fury, even HIS fury to further fuel your own power. The condensed orb of lightning growing stronger and stronger, larger and larger until it's even larger there in the middle of the room than your dad. Stray bolts arcing off, carving trenches through the stone and the carved walls with their glowing runes. Smoke pouring off your fingertips as the power of your lightning, sustained at this level for this long starts to cook even you. You can't keep this up much longer.cont
>>6448668“Dad, get back! Get out of here, I can't contain this!” you think to him, your entire body trembling. “Get to mom, then teleport back once it's over.”“Chaya, what are you planning?” he replies, clearly worried. “I won't-!”“Dad, trust me! If you stay, you'll get caught in my blast too!” you tell him, telepathically shouting. But you can feel it through the link, understanding dawning.“Do it. Beat this thing.” he tells you aloud, barely audible over the crackling of lightning. And a second later you feel his energy vanish from behind you, and you smirk. Taking a moment to focus, to draw out your full power, aura blazing blindingly bright. And, with a snarl you end the attack, and unleash your power.“KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you scream, letting loose a Super Explosive Wave as the orb of lightning detonates as well. Your blast of ki repels the lightning, your energy exploding in a blast that should destroy the entire castle, much less obliterate the cave around you. Only for your energy to smash into where the runes are carved into the walls, where they flare. Somehow ABSORBING some of your energy, drawing it in on contact. But what it can't absorb is focused like a blast down a tube, all that energy surging directly at your foe. Who, despite his best efforts to repel it with his telekinesis, takes the full force of EVERYTHING.“NOOOOOOOOOoooooooo...!!” he cries out, voice distorted as everything goes white. Your power plummeting as your senses are overwhelmed. You can't feel or see, ears filled with an obnoxiously-loud ringing, and you can barely feel your own arms. But as the blinding spots in your eyes from your blast begin to fade, you can surveil the aftermath. And the fighter you'd faced is gone. Along with whatever that portal was, leaving no trace behind. Looking at the walls, the inscriptions are still glowing that same angry red, the floor not even carved away. But, most peculiar is that same raised stone in the center of the room. The one brimming with dark energy, the power of the Dark Side, is somehow completely unphased. There's not even a mark on it despite you unleashing enough power to destroy a planet, the dark energy radiating from the broad rock the source of this place'd dark side power. Which leaves you with one question:What now?>Reach out and place your hand upon the stone, touch that dark power directly>Try and attack the stone directly like you did when turning your crystal. Try and overpower this dark-emitting stone, and bend it to your will. The Goddess of Victory will triumph over a stupid stone>Telepathically call your dad and tell him it's over, you got him. >>6448669You feel a compulsion towards that stone, the nexus of the Dark Side you can feel drawing you towards it. However, as you approach, Bane materializes, standing between you and it.“Stop. You're not ready.” he says, as if he could stop you now. “If you step through that door, you might not come back.”“I have to touch it.” you say, your voice almost dreamy as you approach it. Walking right through the specter of Bane, and laying your hand down upon it. And, immediately, it feels as if the stone is trying to suck the very soul out of your body through your hand! You gasp, feeling the pull that's far more irresistible than gravity trying to draw you down. But you resist it, divine aura blazing wildly as you fight against that pull.“That's it, fight! Don't stop Chaya!” Bane shouts, his voice sounding almost terrified in your mind. “Don't let it win!”Win? Win?! He thinks it can win? That you can LOSE? You'll show him!“HRRYAAAAAAA!!” you roar, divine aura surging, blazing bright like a star as you draw your spirit back out of it. And instead you drive your will into it, just as you had with the crystal for your blade. Seeking not to be drawn down into the stone, to become part of it. But to dominate it, to subjugate it to your will and make it yours. “HRMMMMPH! Khhhhhhh! HAAAAAAAAA!!”As you begin forcing your will into the stone, into this nexus of Dark Side energy. The entire will of the Dark Side itself crashes against you to resist your will, trying to break you. And, for a moment, it nearly wins. You feel your resolve begin to crumble, to weaken against this force older than you can imagine. But as you begin to yield, the instant you start to falter, you feel it.“Don't give up!”“We believe in you Chaya!”“My goddess won't lose to anyone!”“Go Chaya, go! Go!”“You can't lose, not to anything!”“You can win this, dig deep! For us!”The voices of your faithful, of your believers flood through you. Their belief surging through you, throughout your entire being. Reinforcing your will, their belief in you supporting your own the moment you begin to falter.“I! Can't! Lose!” you snarl through gritted teeth. Veins bulging, arms trembling. You realize vaguely at some point you'd placed your other hand on the stone as well, bracing yourself against it. “I am Chaya! Goddess of Victory! And I! WON'T! LOOOOOSE!!”-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 264 paused-

Your blinding aura unable to penetrate that shadow, that dark, but as you keep fighting, you begin to feel it. Pushing with everything you've got against this maelstrom of dark power, you feel it start to give. Feel it beginning to budge, to give, then with a shriek that sounds like metal tearing, it gives fully. Space distorts, the Dark Side energy surges, and that same blazing gate Momin opened tears wide open once more as it submits, surrendering to your will. Leaving you gasping for air, chest heaving as you've done it. You succeeded. But what have you done?“You... Did it...” Bane's spectral form whispers, sounding awestruck. “You actually opened the door.”“The door?” you ask him, struggling for breath. “The door to what?”“A doorway through space and time. Allowing one to step through that door, into the very Dark Side itself.” Bane says, his voice awed, quiet. “With that power, you could do anything.”“Anything?” you ask, turning from that gateway to better look at the imprint of the dark lord's spirit. “What do you mean, anything?”“Anything. You saw what Momin did, sacrificing himself to it to let the Dark Side call forth a champion to protect this place from across all of space and time. Not just this timeline” he says, turning a serious look to you. “With this power, you could do anything. Revive the dead, create or destroy worlds, or even possibly rewrite reality itself to your whims, if your will is strong enough. So, tell me, my apprentice: what will you do with this power?”“Anything...” you say, staring into the gate. Watching the way it pulses, staring into the gaping maw to worlds beyond. But then, with a smirk, you wave a hand towards it just as your father reappears. Closing the portal with a thought and effort of will, the crimson glow of the runes in the walls fading away to nothing. Leaving the chamber illuminated only by your own Afterglow form's aura.“What are you doing?” Bane asks, sounding shocked. “Why would you close that gateway? You could have had anything! Become anything! You could have reshaped this universe as you desired!”cont
>>6448836-Karn's pov, moments earlier-“The battle's over.” you tell your wife, feeling that icy presence disappear as Chaya's power surges. But then it's over, the dark presence vanishing. However, Chaya doesn't power down. Even after nearly half a minute. “Something's wrong.”“What do you mean?” your wife asks, not looking away from the looming dark castle in the distance. “Karn, what is it?”“The portal. That that presence stepped through. When I was in the chamber, I could feel it calling to me. Drawing me to it.” you say, realization dawning. “Chaya!”“What do you-?” your wife starts, but you're already focusing elsewhere. Terrified for Chaya, that the dark pull will be too much for her once more, just like before. And the dark powers will consume her mind and break her again. And you won't let that happen! Focusing on her surging power you teleport directly to her, appearing back in the surprisingly-undamaged chamber. Where your daughter's hands are resting on that same stone, the same gateway the black-armored figure appeared from. But as you watch she waves dismissively towards it. The door closing once more, Chaya speaking not to you, but presumably to the specter of Bane in her head.“I don't need that to achieve what I want.” she says, then turns to you. Smiling, despite her clear exhaustion as she powers back down into her base form. “I did it. I won.”“So I see.” you reply, reaching out and ruffling her hair. “So. What do we do with this?”“Nothing.” she says, suddenly grinning mischievously. “It's mine now. And if anyone else wants to try and open that door, they'll have to overcome my influence upon it first. In here.”You then tap a knuckle against her armor, before raising your hand to your forehead.“Now, how about we go back? And tell them what you did?” you ask, Chaya nodding.“Yeah. Tanya'll be jealous when she heard I found unlimited power.” Chaya says, you raising a brow at this. Unlimited power? But before you can question it too much she continues. “But, with everything there's a cost. And I don't know what it would have cost me to step through that door. I'd rather keep what I've got, than gamble it away. And besides. If we ever truly, really need it, it's always still here.”You note to yourself how she said 'we ever', not just 'I'. That she's already mentally classified this as something to not just be used for herself, but for everyone. Showing the shift in her thinking, you nod along. Laying a hand on her shoulder, focusing on your wife's energy, and teleporting back to her with Instant Transmission. Leaving the innermost chamber of the black stone keep, reappearing by the landing site.“Alright, break time's over! Time to get back to work!” Chaya calls to Tanya, who rolls her eyes at Chaya. The mechanical helpers, some of Dreadzone's solder robots, haven't stopped unloading or organizing, and they don't acknowledge her joke. “Man. You will not believe the monster I fought in there.”And Chaya tells her tale of what she encountered, her perspective on her battle with Momen, then that 'Chosen One'. Describing his power despite his body barely clinging to life, how dark and terrible it is. And after she finishes talking about the fight, she then describes what you'd gotten a glimpse of.“Wait. Anything? You mean you had the power to rewrite reality just... There, at your fingertips. And you gave it up?” Tanya asks, shock and disbelief warring in her tone. “WHY?!”“Because nothing like that comes without a price.” your daughter says, rubbing the scars on her left arm absently for a moment. “The Dark Side's strong, but nothing comes free from it. So I've locked it away instead. If anyone seeks to use that power, they'll have to be stronger than me to do it.”“Well. At least it's not just being left lying around for anyone to use. And if anyone's stubbornness was going to keep it locked away, good that it's yours.” Tanya tells her, punching her shoulder lightly. “So, how about we get back to work?”cont

And test out the arena, make sure it'll be up to snuff!”“Hahaha, alright. I will.” you promise her, your wife taking her and whispering something in her ear a moment. You raise a brow, not sure what she's saying, but the two of them laugh a moment later, your wife separating from her and returning to your side.“Ready to go?” your wife asks, to which you nod. Everything's fine, why?” she replies, and as you focus on her through the link teleport directly to her side. Appearing with your wife right as a lance of pale blue energy is fired, slamming into your chest. The spear of magic passes THROUGH you, and while it doesn't spill blood or leave a hole, you feel it definitely hit SOMETHING! “DAD?!”“Kuuh!” you wheeze, dropping to a knee. Right hand clutching your chest where the shot hit you, yet you still have the wherewithal to raise your left hand, pointing a finger at your attacker. Another red phantom wearing basically nothing, a strange crown upon its head and carrying a staff covered in crystals at the end. And before they can react you fire, your Death Beam punching a hole straight through their throat. The attacker's body dissolving into motes of crimson light.“KARN!?” your wife shouts, panicked.“I'm... I'm okay.” you tell her, shaking your head and pushing yourself up to your feet. “What the hell was that?”“Soul Spear, General.” a voice answers, one you recognize. Turning your head, you see Caulifla's boyfriend, Lottus fighting sword-to-sword with three of the skeletal warriors. His silver blade and their blackened metal clashing repeatedly, and as you watch see he isn't trying to end the fight with them. No, he's using them for training, defending himself without moving his feet from where they're planted. “Soul Sorcery doesn't attack the body, but the spirit directly.”“Are you sure you're okay? Caulifla asks you, your daughter looking worried. Even though you can't SEE her face, behind her mask, you can feel her concern in her body language.“Yeah. I'm good.” you say, rising back up to your feet. Shaking it off, then turning to your daughter. “What about you, kiddo?”cont
>>6448906“Me? Uhh, what do you mean?” she asks, tilting her head.“How've you been?” you ask her, Meloka turning as another fighter spawns. Dashing over, drawing her Ki Blades and cutting them to shreds before they've even realized they were attacked. “We haven't just... Talked, in a while. Want to make sure everything's good.”As you say this, her head tilts, mouth dropping open slightly in clear confusion.“I, um, yeah. Talking. That... That sounds nice.” she says, smiling slightly. “Where do I start?”“Wherever you want.” you tell her, hearing yet another invader spawn. Turning your head, watching as a trio of warriors spawn. Two more of the skeletal armored warriors flanking a fighter wearing the same armor as Lottus. But wielding a comically massive hammer, the warriors rushing as a unit. You flash up into your Berserker form, kicking off the ground towards them. “What have you been up to lately?”“I've been down here a bit more lately, repelling the invaders.” she says, waving her staff and conjuring dozens of magical orbs, which all rush past you towards the trio. Forcing them all to evade, giving you an easy opening for the first. Kicking one of the skeletal warriors mid-roll with your right, knocking them up into the air directly into a left cross that sends them flying. The one with the hammer lands on their feet from the roll, spinning their massive hammer around. Which you catch, palms flat on the wide striking head as Caulifla fires a bolt of lightning into your foe. Glancing over, you see she's conjured a large bow of lightning, and after stunning yours opponent has begun firing arrow-shaped lightning bolts at the third, forcing them to keep dodging as you focus on the hammer wielder.Slipping past the weapon with an uppercut to the guts before they recover, metal armor crunching as you knock them airborne. The knight loses his weapon, you catching the massive hammer and spinning. Slamming his own weapon into him, knocking him away and into the one Caulifla's been keeping back. Smashing both into the wall, their bodies disintegrating into motes of glowing red light, then nothing. “Other than this, things have really slowed down. I'm no longer running around desperately to try and heal everyone anymore. Training accidents are down substantially.”cont
>>6448907“That's good to hear.” you tell her, walking over then lean against your new weapon's haft. “What about you and Lottus? Planning on copying your brother and having a kid of your own soon?”“WH-?! D-DAD!??” she shouts, blushing hard under her helmet. “Y-You can't just SAY that!”“Why not? I take it that's a yes then?” you ask, continuing to tease her as you can tell she's getting flustered. But she's not the only one, as you hear Lottus' falter at the question. Only to immediately get slashed, crying out in pain.“LOTTUS!” Caulifla shouts, you both turning to him. Only for him to fire off an Explosive Wave, but not one from his ki. Instead it's a shockwave of golden light, the magical attack blasting away and incinerating the trio of attacking knights. He then drops to a knee, quickly healing himself as you, Caulifla, and Meloka rush over. “Are you okay?”“I'm fine, love.” he says, looking up to her with a smile, then a more serious look to you as he pushes himself up to his feet. Nowhere close to your height, but he doesn't back down. “I love her. And when I'm ready, when I deserve to ask, I'll be asking for her hand. Does that mean I have your blessing?”You blink, confused a moment at what he means by blessing. Only for Bane's phantom to whisper into your mind, explaining.“In marriage, it is traditional for more monogamous societies to obtain permission from their significant other's parent, either mother or father depending on societal structure.” he tells you. “Though, often there is a requirement or task the parent might assign, or a monetary value established the suitor must trade to the family in exchange.”Well? I hope you do.” you tell him, then there's that distinct sound of another otherworldly being summoned into this world. Turning, you watch as a trio of figures rise once more. One is wearing heavy stone armor, wielding a tooth club. Another is in a softer armor, wielding a tower shield and long spear. And the third is in some sort of metal armor with thin, curved swords in either hand. The trio moving forward towards the four of you without hesitation.“Stand back. I'll handle them, myself.” Lottus says, golden aura blazing and surging as sparks start dancing through his aura. Powerlevel doubling as he Ascends. “Come on, I'll take you all on!”“I believe in you, Lottus.” Caulifla says, and without hesitation he surges forward. Weaving the spear's thrust, then spinning around the hammer's slam. Getting behind the most heavily armored one, thrusting his silvered sword straight through the gaps in the back of his armor. Blade punching through the front, then tearing it free as the dual sickle user closes in and swings his blades. Lottus doesn't retreat, but instead rolls on the ground UNDER the leaping attack sails over his head. Holding some sort of talisman like Caulifla's in his left hand, running it down the length of his sword. Coating it in some sort of purple magic, Lottus then spinning up to his feet. His blade meeting the spear's haft, cleaving it then grabbing the pole. Pulling the wielder to him, decapitating him with ease before turning his focus back to the dual sickle wielder. Who drops one of his weapons, instead drawing a smaller dagger in his left hand.“Lottus, watch out! Parry!” your daughter calls to him, to which his tail twitches in acknowledgment. But instead of an attack at the invader, suddenly a shock wave explodes out from the young man. Breaking the phantom's defensive stance, knocking him off-balance. Just long enough for Lottus to take a single step in, thrusting his sword between the gap between helmet and armor. Thrusting through the invader's throat, killing him as well. And as he pulls his blade free, the final red phantom dissolving into red mist he turns towards you all. Or, rather, specifically turning to Caulifla and smiling to her.“Too easy.” he says with a grin. Only for a spray of blood to suddenly erupt from his chest, his eyes going wide with shock.cont
>>6448936“LOTTUS!!” Caulifla roars, her divine aura blazing wildly. Pushing you and Meloka back as she charges. Closing the gap in an instant, that dark energy coalescing around her left as she reaches past Lottus's shoulder. Grabbing an invisible being, one you hadn't even sensed. But as she grabs him he becomes more visible, as the energy from his body is quickly siphoned away. Lottus clutching at the hole in his chest as she then slams the being into the ground, disappearing into motes of light as she turns her focus to Lottus. “No, no non no, stay with me.”She begins reciting the words to her healing magic, but as she does, you focus you ki sense. Feeling two more, vague energy signatures somewhere in the ruins near you all. But the signature's vague, masked, and you can't tell where they are. However, that isn't a problem for your wife.“HRMM!” she exhales, aura blazing as she ascends into her Blue form, then using her Aura Shell expands her surging energy throughout the room. Letting her feel the shape of the enemies, even if they're invisible. “Got you!”And with that shout she turns and fires, shooting a Death Beam at one. You feel one of the energy signatures disappear, then watch your wife blur forward. Closing in on and grabbing something, taking it down to the ground. And with a wet, squishy tearing noise rips one of the being's arms off. Then the other, holding their now-visible arms in her hands. Thrusting down, jamming the exposed arm bones through whoever the other would-be assassin's body. That one dying as well, disappearing as it disintegrates into sparkling red motes of light that quickly vanish as well. Leaving no trace of either of them.“Thanks love. Sorry, dropped my guard there for a bit. “Lottus apologizes to Caulifla, who has tears falling from behind her helmet. And before she even lets him up, pounces on him. Kissing him, holding her much smaller boyfriend tight.“She really loves him.” your wife says, walking over to stand by you as the two kiss, Lottus' arms unable to even reach all the way around Caulifla's back as he holds her affectionately.“Yeah.” you reply, the two ending the kiss as your daughter stands, lifting him up with ease as she holds him to her chest. And as you watch you can't help but smile, knowing that, despite everything, they're going to be okay. Good thing Whis can reverse time and save us from the tragedy.>you mutter, focusing on Kars' massive power as Shin conjures a projection of what's happening.>as Shin conjuresThat was supposed to be Whis. Right?>>6447902>“Run.” you tell them simplySo good that Freeza showed up to save them. > Looking at your fist with dawning horror as where you'd made contact is just... gone. As if he'd dissolved the outer layer of your hand in some sort of acid, the same with your forearm where you'd touched him.Scary>ni-Saiyan,Lol>“Be careful, Freeza. Pillar Men feed through direct contact with their bodies.” Elder Kai suddenly calls to you, his dislike of “ningen” like yourself not enough to keep him from realizing why you, who were training with Whis, would suddenly be sent here right after Kars' transformation.Elder Kai is wise. Wouldn’t he make a good Supreme Kai? Better than Shin?>>6447904 >But you don't stop there, unleashing a barrage of Death Beams at him. Firing hundreds of beams through him, ripping his body to shreds in seconds. Ending your attack, his carcass crashes to the ground in a heap. Very nice attack sequence. From grabbing him with telekinesis up to this point. Those are the moves that would be too lethal for Tournament of Power.>condensing it into the Energy BodyNice to see Freeza use it too.>Throwing your Death Saucers at him. The blades cutting through the air, slicing off his wings before he can launch more feathers-to-fish at you. Only for them to both shift from wings into snakes, lunging back at him and recombining with him back into his arms. Flying at you, rushing again like a hungry beast.Crazy fight>>6447905>But desperate times call for desperate measures.>“I'm sorry, Kars. HAKAI!” you say, converting your remaining energy into not only divine energy, but the energy of Destruction. This fight is so intense. Good to know Freeza can pull this off, maybe it’s not mastered, but it is good enough nonetheless.>>6447906>you teleport yourself and Kars off the Sacred World of the KaisWise.>Ultra Instinct Freeza!Awesome and surprising. He will become a person that knows both Ultra Ego and this. That was great intermission.
>>6448836>“With this power, you could do anything. Revive the dead, create or destroy worlds, or even possibly rewrite reality itself to your whims, if your will is strong enough. Wow.>“Why would you close that gateway? You could have had anything! Become anything! You could have reshaped this universe as you desired!”That’s huge possibility for so much. It is impressive that she turned this down.>>6448939And that's it for this weekend, enjoy the ride?Yes. Lots of fun.>Curious what your other children are up to, what sorts of adventures they might be up to, and how their lives outside training and family are going?Yes. Very much.>Ready to soon get back to training, to finally confront Granolah and see if he's worth all the hype?Yes. He is an unknown. Is he almost identical like in canon or is he different because of interference of time travelers?>>6449015Awesome picture.
>>6449460Yes, you caught the typo. THank you. And yes, the Kais have nothing for defense against normal SUPER SAIYANS. Much less what Kars is.Freeza did save the Seventh Universe here.Elder Kai had his time. But after being sealed by Beerus, doesn't want to risk that sort of imprisonment again.Kars' powers are bonkers to write, even moreso than Dio himself. And glad you enjoyed.>>6449461It was a gateway to Chaos. The afterlife of the Sith, and source of the Dark Side itself. We'll see more of them next time, hopefully they're not ALL up to crazy shenanigans like this, right? We'll see.>Awesome picture.INDEED! My boy cooked on this one. Where Trunks is battling the new, special pq of Karn's family. With Karn, Meloka and Chaya's strongest forms as the final round after the gauntlet of fighting the whole family consecutively. Including Tomitsu, and Lottus shows up during Caulifla's fight to assist her. It's a massive slog of battles, and why writing it has been a slog for me too.
>>6449543>Freeza did save the Seventh Universe here. And we did not even know about it. What would happen if he did not save it? Would Grand Priest interfere to make new Kais or would they let the universe exist without Gods for an extended period of time?>Kars' powers are bonkers to write, even moreso than Dio himself. And fun watch in the crazy fight.>It was a gateway to Chaos. The afterlife of the Sith, and source of the Dark Side itself.Fascinating.>We'll see more of them next time, Cool.>hopefully they're not ALL up to crazy shenanigans like this, right?Probably. There is a possibility that they are not. I think about Okira. She is so calm and rational. Imagine if the power that she has with Imagine Dragon was in hands of Tatsu and Tomi or Kayle and Maz. They would go crazy with this. If someone is not doing something crazy right now, it is probably Okira.>Where Trunks is battling the new, special pq of Karn's family. -Saiyan Conqueror Quest 264 Epilogue-AGE 759, BEERUS' PLANEThttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfIl70TPX28“Ohhh? Well now, this IS quite the surprise.” Whis says, and you can feel the sudden intensity in the angel's gaze on your skin as you slowly turn around to face Kars. Seeing Whis' almost-malicious grin as he stares at you. “Go on. Show me the results of your training.“KHHHRRR!” Kars growls, going to leap again. But before his feet can even leave the ground, your body has already moved. You end your attack standing past him, arm outstretched as dozens of blows slam into him before he realizes what's happened. Crying out as his body's sent flying, smashing through the forest before splashing down into the lake.“Yes, that's it!” Whis gushes at you, holding his cheeks as he beams. “Look at you! You've finally done it!”“SHHAAAAAA!!” Kars roars, exploding up out of the water. Aura blazing, rocketing back down towards you at his full speed. Drawing his right back as he closes, but your body moves. Flipping backwards, landing three blows he doesn't even register. All three smashing into him, rag-dolling his body a moment. But then Kars recomposes, lunging back in. And your body slides around his own with zero effort, you watching yourself move in awe as his swing misses by a mile.“I understand now.” you say, your body going on the attack yet again. Landing hundreds of blows with his back turned, and as you send him crashing BACK down into the lake, look at your fists. Which, surprisingly, seem to be unharmed now. As if his body's way of devouring you doesn't work on what you are now. “I understand what Karn was saying.”“Oh?” Whis asks, appearing beside you. His speed still unbelievable. As you hadn't sensed his approach at all. “And what do you mean by that?”“When we were in that chamber of altered time flow. He explained to me what his Supreme Instinct power felt like. His body moving on its own. However, I don't feel something he felt. When he told me about it, it was like his body was driven to ATTACK. To destroy his enemies. Whereas with this power-”“Your body moves to protect itself. Not to seek out and destroy your opponent.” Whis finishes for you, to which you answer with a nod. Only for Kars to explode back up out of the water again, chest heaving. His body no longer healing as quickly, his injuries seemingly not healing at all. Bleeding from his mouth, breathing ragged as he looks to you with blind, animalistic hunger. “Who, speaking of, does seem to be on his last legs. Finish this.”
>>6450149“Yes.” you reply, and begin slowly drifting towards Kars. Who, running on pure instinct, seems to recognize the danger you possess, backing up. Growling, now less in rage but almost defensively. As if trying to convince you not to attack. However, before you get into range, another voice calls out.“Well well, what have we here?” the Destroyer himself, Beerus calls out. Flying over casually, looking you over. Only for Kars to attack the moment you're distracted. But that doesn't work on Ultra Instinct, your arm reaching out and stopping his attack short. Palming his right bicep with your left palm before his arm can fully extend, stopping him short. And then your body spins clockwise, tail smashing into his exposed ribs. Which shatter with audible, painful-sounding cracks as Kars gasps futilely for air. Doubling over as your blow sends him crashing down, smashing into the ground by the lake this time instead of inside it. “A mortal achieving that glow. I must say, I'm impressed. Almost makes me want to try you out, see what you can really do.”The tension between you both hangs thick in the air, your mind tense but your body perfectly relaxed. However, before he goes on the attack, Whis appears beside him.“My lord, Freeza is in no shape to continue. His body can't handle it, not yet.” Whis says, and as he does, you also feel it. For a split-second that power fades away, leaving you feeling completely exhausted before the surge of power returns and you can no longer feel the shape your body's in. “Let us go return the Kai.”“I'll do it.” you tell them, immediately drifting down. Turning to Kars, seeing he's reverted back to his base form. His regeneration slowed to a crawl, power dropping. “He doesn't have long.”“Neither do you.” Beerus warns, then smirks. “So you'd better hurry back. Don't dawdle, you got that?”“Yes, my lord.” you reply, landing with one foot atop Kars' chest. Right hand already to your forehead, the strongest of the natural Kai's ki on lock as you teleport. Leaving Beerus' planet, and returning to the Sacred World of the Kais. Where you take a step back, letting them all see Kars is subdued. But while the current Supreme Kai and Kibito look at him, the Elder Kai's eyes are focused on you. Wide and shocked, awed but also terrified as he stares.“Y-You-! That glow! Don't tell me, you...?” he asks, almost seeming terrified of the answer. “Impossible...!”
>>6450151“Yes. You reply with a nod, smirking slightly. “This is Ultra Instinct.”“Ultra...? Honored elder, what is that?” the clueless, worthless Kai asks his elder as you focus back on Beerus' energy, returning back to his world. And as you appear by Whis and Beerus, both back on the ground, that power fades away. You falling immediately, dropping to a knee and gasping desperately for air.“Kai. Returned.” you manage to say between gasps, your entire body trembling, muscles quivering and spasming in ways you've not felt. Alternating between desperately gasping in air and clenching your teeth each exhale to not scream in pain.“Seems I was right to choose you, Freeza.” Beerus says, an approving tone in his voice. “A few decades ago, I wouldn't have ever thought you capable of what you showed today.”“It's all. Thanks. To Karn.” you say between breaths, catching the flicker of something in the deities' eyes as you mention your best friend. “Without him. I would have never even trained. Much less. Became this.”“You hold that Saiyan in high regard.” Beerus says, not really a question.“Of course. He's the one. Who set me. On the path. Of self-improvement.” you reply, pushing yourself back up to your feet even against the groaning and protesting of your muscles. Meeting Beerus' gaze directly. “And without him making me who I am today, you would have perished at Kars' hands.”“What?!” Beerus exclaims, suddenly shocked. “Whis, did he-?”“Yes, my lord. Kars attacked the other Kai, copying a transformation he witnessed Karn's wife, Meloka attempting.” he says, pulling up live video of where they were sparring. Only they're not sparring now, but rather engaged in planet-cracking, well, procreation. Beerus' eyes go wide with shock, Whis blushes and you just sigh. Chuckling, shaking your head. That's your friend down there, and his wife. Inelegant and unrefined, yes. But entirely, completely, unashamedly himself. And you'd rather have no one else at your side, nobody better watching your back across this or any universe.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 264 Epilogue End-
>>6450152>AYO THEY FUCKINIs Beerus shocked that he finally sees what a sex is or is he shocked that ningens are getting so strong while he isn't paying attention?
>>6450152>immortal being with a scrying staff is a voyeurI'm not surprised.Anyways, glad to see Frieza's body didn't rupture after all that. I'm sure he could take it, but still.
23 hours to go! I hope you're ready!>>6449748A good question. Depends on how soon it becomes known what happened. It is always fun.If Okira went evil, even Beerus could potentially fall to her.Maybe.>>6450159He was expecting to see training. Like pulling up youtube and discovering you tabbed the hub instead.>>6450163He's a tank. But he lasted only moments in the form, didn't push himself through an episode-long fight against an EQUAL.
>>6450152Thank you for writing this epilogue. It was very interesting to see Freeza's perspective of those events. It is really incredible that he achieved Ultra Instinct. Congrats to him. This was fun to read.
Soon!>>6450548He's been working hard, always good to get a view into what he's going through on his own journey. And glad you enjoyed, it was a fun tale to tell.
It is TIME!>>6450589
