With the Tournament of Power brought to a close, the Seventh Universe has emerged triumphant once more. Led by the Saiyan warriors, the Seventh's victory was secured. And with the wish on the Super Dragon Balls used to restore the other universes that were eliminated and erased, the final hidden trial was passed, and all eight of the universes up for elimination were allowed to remain. Yet, even with this victory, peace doesn't last in the Seventh Universe for long. As old hatreds rise and long-buried grudges resurface, will you have what it takes to keep everything you've worked the last 28 years of your life to build? Or will those who seek your end ultimately triumph? That all depends on you, and your choices. You the players will (most often) control Karn. A Saiyan man who has grown from his lowly beginnings as a mid-tier Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733 to become not only the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759, but also personal friend to the former emperor Lord Freeza, father to over a dozen powerful and unique children, a mentor and teacher to his fellow Saiyans, and the indisputable winner of the Tournament of Power. Wielder of the Berserker Soul, and the powerful Stand Divine Dragon Force, you're fully equipped to handle any threat that comes your way. >>6466156Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:Karn and Meloka spend the day catching up personally with their children, then after training the students, Karn stays behind to talk with Koruza and Durah. But after that conversation, Karn felt something wrong. And a being from beyond reality attacked, Karn trying to do battle with it in his Supreme Instinct form. The beast remaining undetectable until Karn hit it with Dark Side lightning, drawing it into reality. Even managing to destroy one of its eyes with a Lightning Body-charged kick to one of the formless monster's many eyes. And as we rejoin Karn, Meloka has joined you for battle as well, bringing forth her Primal Deity form to aid you.“You with me?” you ask her, taking your stance. Energy Body dropping momentarily as you focus on drawing out more power.“Always.” she replies, doing the same beside you. Your auras both blazing in sync, sparks flying where the power of your Supreme Instinct clashes with her Primal Deity's divine power, the colossal, impossible beast letting forth another inaudible roar. The force of its bellow from where it's hovering in the air far above either of you knocking you both back. “Kuh-!?”“Tch!” you exhale, your body immediately reacting to danger. Without thought you grab her left arm and toss her back away, down closer to the ground. And right as she soars out of your grip, dozens of tentacles from the beast cut through space around its body, all appearing around you. Immediately surrounding you, trying to grab you from all sides. But what do you do?>Unleash your Explosive Wave, blast them off of you and look for a way out>Let it grab you, then grab onto the tentacles and unleash your Dark Side lightning directly into them>Tap further into the icy depths of your Supreme Instinct power, use your Lifehunt against it and see how it reacts to this power>Unleash a Death Slash from every finger simultaneously, releasing a mass of slashing blades of ki in all directions around you>Reactivate your Lightning Body as it can't seem to handle that power well and will probably keep you from being either crushed or ripped apart from every angle>Instant Transmission out of the attempted grab back to Meloka's side, then try and formulate a plan of attack together as you tell her what you've discovered so far>Other(write in)?

>>6466158“Tch!” you exhale, gathering your ki into each of your fingertips. Focusing your power and crossing your arms, you, then swing them both out to your sides with a roar. HRRRYAAAAA!!”From each fingertip you spin and unleash slashing blades of energy, your Death Slashes slicing through the air. Then your blades crash into the tentacles, your slicing energy biting deep into the grasping tentacles. The creature's dark blood flows from where your blades slash deep into its flesh, yet the tentacles don't recoil or retreat. Instead, as you watch they grab your slashing blades, wrapping around them and begin crushing them. However, as the tentacles are focused on that, it gives you an opening. Which you take, dashing through the opening your attack made. You can hear your energy constructs shatter behind you as the tentacles finally destroy your attacks, as you dash up towards its main body.“Leave! My! World!” you shout while again gathering your ki. Then, closing in, you fire another barrage of Death Slashes. This time the energy blades form a slicing lattice that flies through the air instead of a more spherical shape of swinging your arms wide. All ten slashing blades slam into the extra-dimensional beast's side simultaneously, it again bellowing in pain as your energy cuts deep. The glow of your ki disappears completely as your energy sinks deep into the beast, more than far enough to kill a normal living being. And going even further, the blades slashing out through its other side in a spray of blood, your energy soaring up higher and higher into the air. But even this doesn't kill the beast, as it turns all of its eyes on you. “What? How-?”But before you can question it further, a spray of dozens of Ki Needles land in two of the beast's other eyes, piercing through it and causing it to scream once more. However, while it's dark blood pours from the pinholes your wife's attack made, the beast's eye isn't destroyed like it was by your lightning-charged kick earlier. Half of the creature's eyes turn from you to your wife, and once more it again tries to grab you both. This time more of its tentacles pierce through the veil, dozens appearing around you from all side and again reaching out towards you. And again you gather your ki into your hands, only for two of the tentacles to somehow SPROUT other tentacles, with lash out. Wrapping around your hands completely, and they somehow siphon off your ki as you'd gathered it before you can weaponize it.cont
>>6466195“Wh-What?!” you exclaim, shocked as the dozen or so tentacles completely wrap around you, binding your arms, legs, head, neck, body, everywhere. And they all begin to pull, as if the being's plan is to rip you apart.“Ka-! Your breath forming a fog cloud as you sigh, the tentacles grasping you all recoiling immediately as if burned. You then turn, seeing your wife struggling, and before you can even have the thought your body simply moves. Closing the distance instantly, pressing your hands, feet, and tail to five of the tentacles pulling her. And they all immediately recoil again, you seeing small patches of frost forming at the spots you'd made contact with the entity. All the tendrils release your wife, the entity shrieking at a pitch you cannot hear, but feel in your chest.“Karn...” your wife says, her eyes wide as she looks up at you. Her expression awed, then brows furrowing seriously. Nodding to you once before continuing. “Let's finish this.”“Right.” you reply, nodding back. Turning back towards the entity, and looking up towards it. Only to see it raising a dozen of its tentacles all pointed at a space above it. And you feel your chilled blood run colder as you realize what it's doing. The entity is focusing all of its energy into a point, creating a gleaming crimson mote of light. One which rapidly expands, the otherworldly energy swelling and growing. The space around the attack begins to distort and waver, colors shifting and sounds distorting as the veil between what is and isn't begins to ripple and waver. Yet, before you can even consider what to do, your body's already moving on instinct.“KARN!” your wife shouts as you blur forward, charging headfirst into the distortion. A layer of frost covering your body as you dash in, laying a hand on the gathering energy. And immediately your icy power seeps into the beast's own, and as you watch your icy chill begins freezing the attack solid! The creature immediately abandons the attempted attack, instead reaching at you with dozens of its tentacles. Yet your body moves reflexively, instinctually, weaving between the grasping tendrils. Brushing your hands, feet, whichever part of you is closest to the attacking tendrils as you dodge them. Causing them to recoil in pain, your icy chill spreading across it further and further with each touch. Until, to your shock, with a final pained cry the creature starts running AWAY from you!cont
>>6466260“Huh?” you say, blinking in confusion as, for the first time since the battle began, the beast is actively trying to move further AWAY from you instead of towards you. “It's... Running?”“Hun, don't stop!” your wife shouts, you glancing back towards her. Watching as she's gathering her energy overhead. “If you let it escape, it will only come back! We have to stop it, now!”“Right.” you reply, nodding to her and turning back towards the being. But right as you're about to move, more than two dozen of the being's tentacles reach out, grabbing onto nothing. And as you watch, it begins to RIP reality itself apart! “Oh no you don't!”With that shout, your body's moving immediately. Closing the distance in a blink, slamming a flying right punch straight to one of the creature's eyes. Causing it to scream and writhe in pain as its eye freezes over, tendrils losing their grip as its entire body writhes and thrashes wildly.“You're not getting away!” you roar, weaving between thrashing tendrils and hoofed kicks. Landing blow after blow on the beast in its many differently-sized eyes. Slowly freezing it, your icy power spreading over the extra-dimensional entity more and more. It screams over and over, weaving between and through its many different limbs. With each hit the entity slows down, more and more. Until your body, before you can consider it stops moving, floating backwards away from it. Where you see the entity is frozen solid, unmoving beneath the layer of ice.“You did it.” Meloka says, flying over closer. Not getting too close, as the air around you is misting. The chilled air wavering around you like a flared ki aura as the beast hangs suspended midair. Frozen seemingly-solid, only for your instincts to suddenly scream at you that you're in danger. The beast, with a bellowing roar shatters the ice sheathing it, reality warping and distorting around it in a rippling wave out from it in all directions. But what do you do now?>Dash in, resume the attack with your fists and keep up the pressure>Fly away from it as you gather your power, try and gather energy and fire an attack back >Grab your wife and Instant Transmission back away from it, to the nearest ally before that wave washes over you all>Other(write in)?

To which you release it's teeth, instead grabbing the tentacle. Only for it to try and push you further INSIDE it! And you immediately release the tentacle, realizing what it's doing. And you dash back out, dodging getting eaten as its teeth clench shut. Severing its own tentacle with its teeth, the split end spraying dark blood as all the beast's mouths open wider, crying out in pain. The wavering distortions growing worse and worse around you both. “Dammit! How the hell do I STOP this thing?!”“KARN! We've got a problem!” an unfamiliar voice calls out, you turning. Only to see your wife, distorted by the reality shifting trying to call out to you. “It's Okira! She says Raven's gone crazy!”“Raven?” you wonder a moment, eyes going wide with panic. Remembering what happened to Freeza when he saw The End, immediately worried for her. But that worry's only made worse by what your wife says next.“Okira says she's lashing out violently. We have to help her!” she calls again.“Go!” you shout to her, waving her off. “I'll handle this, help Okira!!”“Right!” she replies, and as you watch she vanishes. >>6466320“I can't keep playing with this thing, I have to find a way to shut it down, for good!” you think to yourself, your eyes drawn to where its tentacle it bit in half is still bleeding, and you have an idea. Remembering to your eldest born son, Chilli, how he uses his own crystals, an idea forms.“Let's try that.” you say to yourself, taking a deep breath in. And slowly begin sighing out, focusing on the cold swelling within you. It's traveled further through you than you'd expected, your limbs from elbow and knee down are already numb from the cold, but you can't stop now. And as you focus, closing your eyes to help you concentrate, you begin shaping the cold with your mind. Envisioning the ice gathering, forming a blade like your son's own magical crystal swords he'd made when the two of you killed that god Nabu together. Drawing more and more of that cold down your arm, you feel a weight suddenly settle at the end of your arm. Opening your eyes, you look down at your right arm. And see you've successfully shaped that ice into a weapon, a blade of frost radiating an absolute chill. And you feel a wicked grin spread across your face as your fingers, crunching the ice that had frozen in your hand as you grip the handle. “Alright, monster. Let's see how you handle THIS!”The beast, meanwhile, has returned to trying to rip a hole through reality itself once more, seemingly desperate to escape you. But you're not letting it get away, dashing in with blinding speed. Grabbing the hilt of your new weapon in both hands, you lunge in the Djem So's most powerful attack. Bringing the frigid blade crashing down on the first tentacle you'd reached trying to pry open an escape route from reality back to not. And as you bring your frosty blade down, swinging it with the full power of your arms and back, the icy blade cleaves straight through it seemingly without resistance. And IMMEDIATELY the beast reacts, releasing an even more piercing, keening cry of pain. One that reverberates across the entire audible and inaudible spectrum simultaneously, the sheer force of the cry cracking your arm guards and boots. The monster recoiling even more than when your ice had come into contact with its skin and teeth before. The severed tendril flails wildly, uncontrollably as your ice rapidly spreads across the injury and over its limb. The severed end falls, the ice spreading over it as well. Encasing it in a small iceberg as it crashes to the ground far below.“That's it, this can end it.” you mutter to yourself, then hear a terrible crack through the air. Your head whips around, and you see it: it's nearly succeeded in tearing through reality already! The sky is cracked, like a broken window. Fractures running through the air on nothing, it's nearly breached through! “Oh no you don't!”cont
>>6466362As you shout your body's already moving, dashing to the tear its ripping open in reality, frosty blade flashing back and forth as you start slashing the tendrils. You swing the weapon back and forth, cleaving through tendril after tendril. Chopping it apart limb by limb, cutting through a dozen more until it relents and retreats. The severed tendrils, bleeding everywhere, all recoil together. And as you watch, the tendrils reach down INTO the beast's own mouths.“What the hell...?” you mutter to yourself, wondering aloud what it's doing. But then your instincts warn you to not let it finish whatever it's trying, and so you don't hesitate. Dashing down, hands frozen clenched around the sword, you dash in. Closing the distance in a blink, carving through several other tendrils before reaching it. And with your sword raised overhead, you let out a roar as you slash deep into one of its many eyes. But you don't stop at a single slash, no. Instead you unleash a furious assault, slashing repeatedly. Carving your way into the beast's eye socket, deeper and deeper INTO the beast itself. Each slash into its essence spreading your ice further inside it, carving and slashing your way through its very being until, with a final horizontal slash, you cleave your way back OUT of the monster. Dashing out, you turn, looking at your work as your chest heaves. Your breathing turning ragged, as even as you suck air down, it feels thin. Like your body isn't taking in enough air, as you look from the beast down to yourself. And see your arms up to just past your elbows have turned blue from the cold. You have to end this, and soon, or your own power will put you down first. “Tch!”Looking back up to it, however, the beast is writhing through the air as the ice seemingly takes it from within. Its essence freezing from where you'd slashed through it, the writhing slowing down as it is slowly being encased in ice.But what do you do?>Power back down to just Berserker God, then land on the planet's surface and activate your Champion power. >>6466364“Dammit, I'm almost out of time! I have to end this, now!” you say to yourself, tightening your grip on the icy blade. Feeling the ice crunch in your hands, fracturing momentarily before the ice re-freezes the cracks back shut. As you look back up at the being, despite its body freezing, you can see it distorting. The wriggling, undefined mass of its body trying to reshape itself, to change to a state that it can escape the ice engulfing it. Causing the ice enveloping it to slowly crack, breaking free of its cold bonds slowly. But then you have an idea, as you look back down at your blade. Remembering what Chilli'd told you happened to him, and realizing that might be the ticket to stopping this monster once and for all. “Worth a shot.”Your body tenses, then you explode towards the wriggling mass of the creature. The ice shattering around it as its body warps and distorts itself, slowly shedding the cracked ice that had engulfed it.“You think you can escape it that easily? Let's see how you handle the whole thing!” you declare, drawing every ounce of the cold from your body into your blade. Which begins howling like a blizzard as you charge, a swirling vortex of frosty air trailing behind you like a comet's tail as you streak up towards the wriggling horror. “Take THIS! HAAA! HRRYAAA!”You roar, closing the gap and slashing it twice. Making a large “X” in its side. Then as it writhes and howls in pain, you draw your blade back. And putting everything you've got into this final attack, thrust your blade straight into the intersection of the X you slashed into it. Burying your frigid blade deep into it, thrusting so deep you sink into it past your elbows.“Let your meager flame freeze, and cease forever.” your mouth says without waiting for your mind, the words themselves coming up from your icy power's core itself. Then, twisting your arms in opposite directions, shatter the handle of the blade. Pulling your arms free and kicking off the monster, flying back. Only for the icy power within you to suddenly retreat, your Supreme Instinct fading completely as you shrink back down to your normal size. Falling backwards through the air down towards the ground below, yet despite no longer using the power, the ice continues to spread all over your body. Encasing you in a small cocoon of ice as you fall through the air, everything slowly going dark even with your eyes frozen open. But you don't take your eyes off the otherworldly being even as you feel your consciousness fading, the last thing you see before darkness takes you entirely is the frozen entity suddenly shattering as someone fires a golden blast at it. Your frigid power having frozen it completely, that attack merely confirming that whatever it had resembling life had been snuffed out by your icy power.cont
>>6466420The next thing you know, you feel... Cold. Terribly cold, yet there is also warmth. Heat, slowly seeping into you. First, into your fingers and toes, the warmth cutting through the cold darkness that had enveloped you. You aren't sure how long has passed, but as your mind slowly rises from the frozen fog, you feel the warmth seeping into you. You hang in this suspended state for an unknown amount of time, it could be minutes or years, time has lost all meaning in the frozen endlessness you were trapped in. However, as the warmth continues to fill you, you can feel the life it brings with it. From your fingers, ears, toes, and the tip of your tail up through your hands and feet, then ankles and wrists as well as your head and tail, then slowly spreading up your appendages towards your torso. The heat spreading through you like filling a glass with water, you feel your eyes slowly opening. And as you blink awake, you find yourself somewhere completely unexpected: seemingly submerged in molten lava.“Wh-Huh?” you mutter to yourself, running a thawing hand through the magma surrounding you. Yet your head isn't submerged, you twisting your body through the magma and turning. Finding a massive face looking down at you, one you recognize. “New Salda?”“YES. IT IS I. AND YOU ARE FINALLY AWAKE.” your planet's voice booms, echoing in the chamber you're in. Looking around momentarily, realizing that you're back deep within New Salda itself, at the same ancient native's temple you'd visited the other day. And you're not only being held by the planet's colossal avatar, but that you'd been nestled in its bosom. The planet using its own heat, holding you close to chase the cold away and bring you back. “I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO LOSE YOU.”“I'm alive. Thanks to you. That cold power nearly ended me.” you say, grateful to New Salda. Letting the avatar of your world's warmth continue to seep into your cold body, warming you up further by the second. BUT WHEN HER MIND BROKE AND SHE TURNED FERAL, THE MANTLE DEPARTED HER. AND I CANNOT RE-ESTABLISH THE BOND MYSELF.” New Salda tells you. AND WHEN YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH, I SHALL RETURN YOU TO THE SURFACE. TO SAVE HER.”“Right. I'll do everything I can to save her.” you reply, nodding seriously. Only for another thought to come to mind. “Say, how long have I been down here?”“THE DISTANT, LIFE-GIVING STAR HAS TRAVELED FULLY ACROSS MY SURFACE ONCE, SINCE YOU HAVE BEEN DOWN HERE.” New Salda replies. You realizing you've been submerged in her lava for a whole day, and only now is the feeling returning to your body, heat returning to your nearly-frozen form. The realization of just how close you'd come to dying hitting you even harder. You'd been bathed in molten rock for an entire day, and you can still feel the chill in your chest.“Thank you. For saving me.” you say quietly, closing your eyes and letting yourself sink a little deeper into New Salda's molten form. Letting her heat infuse you, melting away the ice still inside you. This Lifehunt really does awesome things.>The creature immediately abandons the attempted attack, instead reaching at you with dozens of its tentacles. Yet your body moves reflexively, instinctually, weaving between the grasping tendrils. Brushing your hands, feet, whichever part of you is closest to the attacking tendrils as you dodge them. Until, to your shock, with a final pained cry the creature starts running AWAY from you! It’s great. Very good.>“Let your meager flame freeze, and cease forever.” your mouth says without waiting for your mind, the words themselves coming up from your icy power's core itself. How interesting. Is this something Priscilla would say? It’s like through the use of Lifehunt, Karn somehow tapped into some memory of hers? Who else would say this? Wasn’t she the only user of this power? Does this mean that in the power of Lifehunt there is also some ancient knowledge and memories hidden and preserved? If Karn will keep using it maybe he will suddenly “remember” things he never saw or places he never was before. Very intriguing. >Your frigid power having frozen it completely, that attack merely confirming that whatever it had resembling life had been snuffed out by your icy power. That was such a hard fight. >>6466448For the next several minutes, you remain motionless. Focusing on your breathing, relaxing and letting New Salda's warmth infuse your still-chilled body. And before you even realize it, you've slipped back into the late Guardian's special breathing technique. A soft, golden glow emanating from you. Causing small ripples in the molten liquid around you, as you feel your body slowly recovering. Your Hamon breathing accelerating the spread of New Salda's warmth throughout your body, melting the ice faster and faster. The planet's avatar doesn't speak up either, clearly content to focus on nurturing you, thawing you back out. However, as you thaw out, a realization comes to mind. New Salda's connection to Raven was likely far deeper than your own, as the Guardian is so inundated and interconnected with the planet itself they can no longer leave. Understanding dawning after that revelation that losing Raven this way undoubtedly hurt New Salda as much as what happened to Tomi when Tatsu was slain by Dumplin. And the psychic backlash she sustained as that bond was severed. And with this new understanding you speak up, addressing New Salda directly.“I'm sorry.” you say softly, feeling understanding blooming through your link to the planet.“YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BE SORRY FOR, MY CHAMPION. YOU DID YOUR BEST TO PROTECT US FROM THAT THING.” comes New Salda's reply, voice booming through the cavern. “YOU ARE THE REASON SO FEW WERE AFFECTED.”“Wait, so few?” you ask, feeling another spike of worry. “What do you mean, few?”“THE GUARDIAN WAS NOT THE ONLY BEING WHOSE MIND WAS CRUSHED BY THAT BEING THAT SHOULD NOT BE.” comes your planet's voice after a moment of quiet, as if considering how to answer you. “THE BEING'S PRESENCE BROKE SEVERAL MINDS EVERY SINGLE MINUTE IT WAS IN OUR REALITY.”“So Raven wasn't the only victim...” you say, as weariness lands heavy on your shoulders. If you had gone all-out from the start, then it's possible several people's minds wouldn't have been crushed by that otherworldly predator's influence. “How do we stop it?”“I DO NOT KNOW. ALL I KNOW IS THAT SHOULD NOT BE.” comes the avatar's reply. “EVEN THE DARK, WRONG AS IT IS, IS STILL -OF- EXISTENCE ITSELF. THAT BEING WAS... NOT.”A moment of silence then passes between you, and you suddenly feel it. A single bead of sweat on your brow, one that you idly reach up and brush off. Only to see your arm is now starting to turn red, the heat having filled you so fully that it's now no longer chasing the chill away. But is starting to burn you instead.cont
>>6466631With a thought you fly out from New Salda's bosom, letting your aura flare up around you. Only now realizing that, somehow, New Salda had activated your Champion power on its own, using the power it gives you itself to reinforce your frozen body and allow you to withstand her heat without being fried outside yet still frozen inside.“I'm ready to return to the surface.” you say as you fly up eye level to the titanic avatar's face. “Take me to her.”“OF COURSE, MY CHAMPION.” New Salda replies, reaching up. Wrapping its hands around you, forming a perfect, airtight chamber as you suddenly feel her move. Rising up through the planet's crust like riding up an elevator, and after a minute its hands open. The pressure difference stealing your balance a moment, until your ears pop and you regain your equilibrium.“Thank you New Salda.” you say, waving to the avatar as you step off her other hand onto the sands of the beach, where several members of your family are gathered. And, to your surprise, both Chilli and Caulifla are kneeling by Raven's sides, while her head is in Towa's lap, laying peacefully still and immobile on the sand. Eyes shut, and if you hadn't been warned by New Salda what happened to her, she's seemingly sleeping peacefully. But as you arrive, everyone, except the clearly unconscious or worse Raven, turns towards you. Your wife blitzing you, slamming into you chest as she wraps her arms around your neck, clutching you desperately as she buries her face in your neck. “Sorry about that, didn't mean to worry you.”“Worry? WORRY? The planet abducted you, and took you so deep into the planet I couldn't feel your presence anymore. I was well past worried!” your wife whispers softly, trembling a moment, letting you feel her worry before she recomposes herself around everyone. “I'm just glad you're okay.”“Thank New Salda for that. I've been laying in a lava bath since she took me, trying to melt the ice inside me.” you reply, feeling Meloka freeze in place against you at your words. She understands immediately how closely that means you must have come to freezing to death completely, clutching you tighter. Your arms reach up, hugging her to you. When it breached the veil, its mere presence inflicted a metaphysical 'weight' on reality.” she says quietly, brows furrowed as she tries to explain what happened. “Many of the more-sensitive minds couldn't withstand the weight of it, and were crushed. Some simply collapsed, their minds crushed by the weight. While others had their minds broken, succumbing to some sort of madness. Lashing out violently, randomly and without reason. Attacking everyone in sight.”“Fortunately, it seems that everyone who had their mind broken by that entity's presence has been subdued.” Caulifla says, your daughter still looking worried. “I did what I could for them all, but as of yet no one who lost their mind has awakened.”“When they wake up, we'll see if they've recovered. And if they haven't, well... That's why Caulifla called me over.” Chilli says, you meeting your son's gaze. Seeing the concern there. “If the madness still has them, there might be a way to save them.”“I already told you, even using Chaos won't bring back their minds.” Towa says with a frustrated sigh. “Undoing time on them won't affect the damage cause by a being that exists outside the very concept.”“Why won't Chaos work?” you ask Towa, brows furrowed. “Wouldn't undoing their mind and body to before it appeared reverse the damage?”“It's not that simple.” she says with a sigh, gesturing down at Raven. “And Chilli already tried on Raven. But it didn't undo her current condition. Think of this madness less like something that's happened TO them, but more of a virus. Something spread by that being due to it entering our reality. And that it is unaffected by Chaos, as it is beyond time itself.”“Then, what about the Dragon Balls?” you ask, everyone looking at you. “Can't they undo what happened to them then? Restore them, remove the madness and whatever else that entity did to them?”“I...” Towa starts, then laughs. A genuine bellow of laughter, pressing a palm to her forehead as she shakes her head. “The Dragon Balls. How the hell did I forget about THEM? Of all the... Yes, they might work. Patterned jacket, puffy white pants, turban on his head and wearing a rad sash belt and red shoes. “I must say, I'm impressed.”“Impressed? What do you mean?” you ask him, Meloka's head turning, glaring at him. He doesn't even so much as blink at her, keeping his focus on you.“I was watching your battle with that offspring. Well done.” he says, your brow raising in response.“What? Offspring?” your wife asks him, feeling the sudden tension in her body. “What do you mean, offspring?”“The being you both fought wasn't The End. It was to that entity like a plucked hair is to either of you.” Dumplin clarifies, a shiver running up your spine as you remember your confrontation with the truth of The End. “That entity you battled was only an infinitesimally small fragment shed from The End. Too small for The End to actually notice when you destroyed it. However, it is a signifier that The End is drawing ever-nearer to reality.”“And what it did to my people? Can they be fixed?” you ask Mr. Popo, holding his unnerving, unblinking gaze. You tell him what you learned, then Meloka adds in what she saw as well.“After Raven was subdued, several others had also gone mad. They were raving and attacking everyone mindlessly, causing chaos in the cities. They couldn't even hear words anymore, and one... Was bleeding out through her eyes, saying she would 'spread the truth'.” Meloka says, shivering in your arms.“We considered the Dragon Balls, if they're ready to be used. Do you think that will work?” you ask him, meeting his gaze again. “Can we save them? Towa says we can't use Chilli's Chaos powers to save them, that undoing time on them won't fix them.”“Hmmmm.” he replies, bringing a hand to his chin as he ponders it. “Towa's right, Chaos won't undo having their minds crushed. As their minds have been crushed all across time simultaneously. Undoing time won't change what happened to them, no. But perhaps, if worded correctly, the Dragon Balls could...”cont
>>6466725“Very well. You're free to gather and use the Dragon Balls, as soon as they're ready.” he tells you with a nod. “However, they're still inactive from Chaya's wish to save Raditz and his family.”“Inactive? Damn.” you reply, shaking your head. “We can't wait that long for them to recover. We have to save Raven and the others. New Salda's connection to Raven, our planet's Guardian, has been severed.”“WHAT?!” Dumplin asks, the disguised voice dropping a moment in his sudden worry. “That's not good. That's not good at all. Is New Salda itself okay?”“As far as I could tell. It held me for the past day, slowly thawing me from Lifehunt's icy grip.” you reply, Dumplin looking more worried now, not less. But he keeps his worry to himself, not addressing it. Instead, looking for a solution. “Namek's Dragon Balls recharge in only three months, while Earth's take a whole year. However, there is another option.”“What option?” Meloka asks, her earlier hesitation gone entirely now. “What can we do?”“Well, there's always... No.” he says, shaking his head. Clearly keeping something from you, but you don't know what. “No, your best option will be Planet Cereal. Their Dragon Balls don't have a down time. They don't need time to rest and recharge, unless several wishes are made in rapid succession. Using them will be your best bet to save everyone.”But what do you do now?>Thank him for his help, and ask if he knows any method to aid in tracking down the Dragon Balls on that planet>Ask Dumplin what he's not telling you, tell him now's not the time for secrets and if he's got another option, you should at least hear it>Thank him for his help, then ask if he thinks you're ready to face Granolah. Or if you should take those six weeks or so worth of time you still have left in the Time Chamber before the fight tomorrow>Other(write in)?

>>6466726“Appreciate it. But, speaking of: is there any way you know of to help us track down the Dragon Balls?” you ask him, raising a brow. “While I'm fighting Granolah, with Meloka backing me up in case he brings help, would be nice to have someone searching for the Dragon Balls while we're fighting him. After all, it's my granddaughter's birthday tomorrow, and the sooner we can wrap everything up and get to her party, the better.”“Oh, well then, wish her happy birthday from me.” he replies, then nods. “As for finding them, of course. For that, a human scientist here on Earth has developed something she calls the Dragon Radar. It is attuned to the specific frequency of energy radiating from the Dragon Balls. With that, it will be able to find them as long as they're anywhere on the planet. To within a foot or two at most.”“A radar? Interesting.” your wife replies with a hum. “That could be quite useful. Who has it?”“A scientist, who now works for the Red Ribbon Army by the name of Bulma Briefs. She, along with Dr. Gero himself, are responsible for Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien being turned into cyborgs strong enough to defeat the Demon King Piccolo.” he tells you both, then shapeshifts himself. Taking on the appearance of a woman with blue hair, even seemingly mimicking her voice. “Right now, I'm at their fortress' training grounds.”Dumplin then reshapes himself, returning to his new visage of Mr. Popo.“I can take you there, if you wish. Or, feel free to fly down yourself.” he answers, to which you and Meloka share a look. Then, after reaching an unspoken agreement and nodding to one another, turn back to him.“Thanks for the offer, but we'll fly down there together.” you tell him, Mr. Popo nodding in understanding. “Thanks for everything, this was a huge help.”“Of course, Karn. Anytime.” he says, waving as you turn and walk to the edge, jumping off and flying down through the clouds. Still holding your wife in your arms, Meloka nestling closer as the two of you descend through the clouds. Finding yourselves over a massive forest, flying south. Quickly finding the massive fortress once more, flying to a stop outside the massive dome. Which, you realize as you get close, has been repaired once more.“Looks like we're here.” you say to your wife, looking at her in your arms. “You ready?”“Ready.” she replies, kissing you then flying out of your arms. Flying up beside you, taking a deep breath. “Let's do this.”-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 267 paused-

>>6466782>inb4 bulma hits on karn
>>6466792Bulma's probably the only character that could get away with doing that in Meloka's immediate vicinity
>>6466782I was gonna say Bulma doesn't have much of a reason not to hand over the radar, but she's probably hip as to what the PTO's stewardship of Earth entails. Her and Gero both.
ok so, seeing how Karn almost turned into a popsicle from his own power i decided to reread some of our history with the Lifehunt, particularly the time we fought its original wielder... And all I got from it was that the more things change the more they stay the same, because once Priscilla went all out we got got pretty fast. Here's what I'm thinking, lets just go to the demon realm and take her soul, that'll solve our issue!
