With the Tournament of Power brought to a close, the Seventh Universe has emerged triumphant once more. Led by the Saiyan warriors, the Seventh's victory was secured. And with the wish on the Super Dragon Balls used to restore the other universes that were eliminated and erased, the final hidden trial was passed, and all eight of the universes up for elimination were allowed to remain. Yet, even with this victory, peace doesn't last in the Seventh Universe for long. As old hatreds rise and long-buried grudges resurface, will you have what it takes to keep everything you've worked the last 28 years of your life to build? Or will those who seek your end ultimately triumph? That all depends on you, and your choices.

You the players will (most often) control Karn. A Saiyan man who has grown from his lowly beginnings as a mid-tier Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733 to become not only the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759, but also personal friend to the former emperor Lord Freeza, father to over a dozen powerful and unique children, a mentor and teacher to his fellow Saiyans, and the indisputable winner of the Tournament of Power. Wielder of the Berserker Soul, and the powerful Stand Divine Dragon Force, you're fully equipped to handle any threat that comes your way. But what will you do when the threats aren't always physical, when you can't simply punch all your problems away?

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn and Meloka spend the day catching up personally with their children, then after training the students, Karn stays behind to talk with Koruza and Durah. But after that conversation, Karn felt something wrong. And a being from beyond reality attacked, Karn trying to do battle with it in his Supreme Instinct form. The beast remaining undetectable until Karn hit it with Dark Side lightning, drawing it into reality. Even managing to destroy one of its eyes with a Lightning Body-charged kick to one of the formless monster's many eyes. And as we rejoin Karn, Meloka has joined you for battle as well, bringing forth her Primal Deity form to aid you.

“You with me?” you ask her, taking your stance. Energy Body dropping momentarily as you focus on drawing out more power.
“Always.” she replies, doing the same beside you. Your auras both blazing in sync, sparks flying where the power of your Supreme Instinct clashes with her Primal Deity's divine power, the colossal, impossible beast letting forth another inaudible roar. The force of its bellow from where it's hovering in the air far above either of you knocking you both back. “Kuh-!?”
“Tch!” you exhale, your body immediately reacting to danger. Without thought you grab her left arm and toss her back away, down closer to the ground. And right as she soars out of your grip, dozens of tentacles from the beast cut through space around its body, all appearing around you. Immediately surrounding you, trying to grab you from all sides.

But what do you do?
>Unleash your Explosive Wave, blast them off of you and look for a way out
>Let it grab you, then grab onto the tentacles and unleash your Dark Side lightning directly into them
>Tap further into the icy depths of your Supreme Instinct power, use your Lifehunt against it and see how it reacts to this power
>Unleash a Death Slash from every finger simultaneously, releasing a mass of slashing blades of ki in all directions around you
>Reactivate your Lightning Body as it can't seem to handle that power well and will probably keep you from being either crushed or ripped apart from every angle
>Instant Transmission out of the attempted grab back to Meloka's side, then try and formulate a plan of attack together as you tell her what you've discovered so far

Might as well see how it reacts to our mundane, albeit extremely deadly, ki attacks as well. If nothing else, it'll be valuable info for Meloka to work with in the meantime.

“Tch!” you exhale, gathering your ki into each of your fingertips. Focusing your power and crossing your arms, you, then swing them both out to your sides with a roar. HRRRYAAAAA!!”

From each fingertip you spin and unleash slashing blades of energy, your Death Slashes slicing through the air. Then your blades crash into the tentacles, your slicing energy biting deep into the grasping tentacles. The creature's dark blood flows from where your blades slash deep into its flesh, yet the tentacles don't recoil or retreat. Instead, as you watch they grab your slashing blades, wrapping around them and begin crushing them. However, as the tentacles are focused on that, it gives you an opening. Which you take, dashing through the opening your attack made. You can hear your energy constructs shatter behind you as the tentacles finally destroy your attacks, as you dash up towards its main body.

“Leave! My! World!” you shout while again gathering your ki. Then, closing in, you fire another barrage of Death Slashes. This time the energy blades form a slicing lattice that flies through the air instead of a more spherical shape of swinging your arms wide. All ten slashing blades slam into the extra-dimensional beast's side simultaneously, it again bellowing in pain as your energy cuts deep. The glow of your ki disappears completely as your energy sinks deep into the beast, more than far enough to kill a normal living being. And going even further, the blades slashing out through its other side in a spray of blood, your energy soaring up higher and higher into the air. But even this doesn't kill the beast, as it turns all of its eyes on you. “What? How-?”

But before you can question it further, a spray of dozens of Ki Needles land in two of the beast's other eyes, piercing through it and causing it to scream once more. However, while it's dark blood pours from the pinholes your wife's attack made, the beast's eye isn't destroyed like it was by your lightning-charged kick earlier. Half of the creature's eyes turn from you to your wife, and once more it again tries to grab you both. This time more of its tentacles pierce through the veil, dozens appearing around you from all side and again reaching out towards you. And again you gather your ki into your hands, only for two of the tentacles to somehow SPROUT other tentacles, with lash out. Wrapping around your hands completely, and they somehow siphon off your ki as you'd gathered it before you can weaponize it.

“Wh-What?!” you exclaim, shocked as the dozen or so tentacles completely wrap around you, binding your arms, legs, head, neck, body, everywhere. And they all begin to pull, as if the being's plan is to rip you apart.
“Ka-! Mrrmph!” your wife's shout is muffled by no doubt a tentacle wrapping around her mouth, keeping her from speaking as she's caught as well. You can feel this otherworldly entity's tentacles pulling at you, trying to pull you in every direction simultaneously. If you can't break free of this hold, it could tear you apart.

But what do you do? How do you escape this?
>Unleash your Dark Side lightning once more, channeled directly from your hands into the tentacles binding you

“Dammit!” you snarl as the tentacles begin pulling you apart in every direction simultaneously. Leaving you with precious few options. And so you decide to stop holding back, closing your eyes as you begin drawing forth your true, ultimate strength.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTqP8w6G9sg

“Haaaaah.” you sigh out as frost begins forming over your body. Your breath forming a fog cloud as you sigh, the tentacles grasping you all recoiling immediately as if burned. You then turn, seeing your wife struggling, and before you can even have the thought your body simply moves. Closing the distance instantly, pressing your hands, feet, and tail to five of the tentacles pulling her. And they all immediately recoil again, you seeing small patches of frost forming at the spots you'd made contact with the entity. All the tendrils release your wife, the entity shrieking at a pitch you cannot hear, but feel in your chest.
“Karn...” your wife says, her eyes wide as she looks up at you. Her expression awed, then brows furrowing seriously. Nodding to you once before continuing. “Let's finish this.”
“Right.” you reply, nodding back. Turning back towards the entity, and looking up towards it. Only to see it raising a dozen of its tentacles all pointed at a space above it. And you feel your chilled blood run colder as you realize what it's doing. The entity is focusing all of its energy into a point, creating a gleaming crimson mote of light. One which rapidly expands, the otherworldly energy swelling and growing. The space around the attack begins to distort and waver, colors shifting and sounds distorting as the veil between what is and isn't begins to ripple and waver. Yet, before you can even consider what to do, your body's already moving on instinct.

“KARN!” your wife shouts as you blur forward, charging headfirst into the distortion. A layer of frost covering your body as you dash in, laying a hand on the gathering energy. And immediately your icy power seeps into the beast's own, and as you watch your icy chill begins freezing the attack solid! The creature immediately abandons the attempted attack, instead reaching at you with dozens of its tentacles. Yet your body moves reflexively, instinctually, weaving between the grasping tendrils. Brushing your hands, feet, whichever part of you is closest to the attacking tendrils as you dodge them. Causing them to recoil in pain, your icy chill spreading across it further and further with each touch. Until, to your shock, with a final pained cry the creature starts running AWAY from you!

“Huh?” you say, blinking in confusion as, for the first time since the battle began, the beast is actively trying to move further AWAY from you instead of towards you. “It's... Running?”
“Hun, don't stop!” your wife shouts, you glancing back towards her. Watching as she's gathering her energy overhead. “If you let it escape, it will only come back! We have to stop it, now!”
“Right.” you reply, nodding to her and turning back towards the being. But right as you're about to move, more than two dozen of the being's tentacles reach out, grabbing onto nothing. And as you watch, it begins to RIP reality itself apart! “Oh no you don't!”

With that shout, your body's moving immediately. Closing the distance in a blink, slamming a flying right punch straight to one of the creature's eyes. Causing it to scream and writhe in pain as its eye freezes over, tendrils losing their grip as its entire body writhes and thrashes wildly.

“You're not getting away!” you roar, weaving between thrashing tendrils and hoofed kicks. Landing blow after blow on the beast in its many differently-sized eyes. Slowly freezing it, your icy power spreading over the extra-dimensional entity more and more. It screams over and over, weaving between and through its many different limbs. With each hit the entity slows down, more and more. Until your body, before you can consider it stops moving, floating backwards away from it. Where you see the entity is frozen solid, unmoving beneath the layer of ice.
“You did it.” Meloka says, flying over closer. Not getting too close, as the air around you is misting. The chilled air wavering around you like a flared ki aura as the beast hangs suspended midair. Frozen seemingly-solid, only for your instincts to suddenly scream at you that you're in danger. The beast, with a bellowing roar shatters the ice sheathing it, reality warping and distorting around it in a rippling wave out from it in all directions.

But what do you do now?
>Dash in, resume the attack with your fists and keep up the pressure

“Dammit!” you snarl, clenching your fists and dashing in. Charging headfirst into the distorting space.
“KARN! NOO!” your wife shouts, panicked. But you don't hesitate, charging directly in. Rushing into the distorting space, you feeling it immediately buffeting you on all sides. Everything around you, everything beyond your ice shifts and distorts, reality turning thin as you charge forth. However, the distortion seemingly doesn't affect you, the ice formed from Lifehunt sheathing your body seemingly protecting you. You charge through the ripples of destruction, charging forth and drawing your right fist back. Closing in on the creature, then swinging once more. Slamming your right fist straight into another of its eyes, or at least you try to. However, your fist passes THROUGH the space it takes up without making contact, and what you'd thought was an eye is revealed to be one of its mouths instead! The spacial distortion having caused you to miss, and instead hurl yourself directly into its mouth.

“SHIT!” you snarl, flipping forward to burn off your momentum, planting your feet and hands on its teeth instead. Catching its teeth, keeping it from eating you. Your ice spreading from your hands and feet onto the beast's teeth, quickly freezing them over. Your ice spreading quickly, freezing its teeth. The ice spreading out from its teeth over its gums now, the beast's howl bellowing from its throat. It recoils, tendrils swooping in towards its mouth to grab you. To which you release it's teeth, instead grabbing the tentacle. Only for it to try and push you further INSIDE it! And you immediately release the tentacle, realizing what it's doing. And you dash back out, dodging getting eaten as its teeth clench shut. Severing its own tentacle with its teeth, the split end spraying dark blood as all the beast's mouths open wider, crying out in pain. The wavering distortions growing worse and worse around you both. “Dammit! How the hell do I STOP this thing?!”

“KARN! We've got a problem!” an unfamiliar voice calls out, you turning. Only to see your wife, distorted by the reality shifting trying to call out to you. “It's Okira! She says Raven's gone crazy!”
“Raven?” you wonder a moment, eyes going wide with panic. Remembering what happened to Freeza when he saw The End, immediately worried for her. But that worry's only made worse by what your wife says next.

“Okira says she's lashing out violently. We have to help her!” she calls again.
“Go!” you shout to her, waving her off. “I'll handle this, help Okira!!”
“Right!” she replies, and as you watch she vanishes. No doubt using Instant Transmission to teleport right over, to help her. Leaving you with the beast distorting reality all around you, and no closer to stopping it.

“I can't keep playing with this thing, I have to find a way to shut it down, for good!” you think to yourself, your eyes drawn to where its tentacle it bit in half is still bleeding, and you have an idea. Remembering to your eldest born son, Chilli, how he uses his own crystals, an idea forms.

“Let's try that.” you say to yourself, taking a deep breath in. And slowly begin sighing out, focusing on the cold swelling within you. It's traveled further through you than you'd expected, your limbs from elbow and knee down are already numb from the cold, but you can't stop now. And as you focus, closing your eyes to help you concentrate, you begin shaping the cold with your mind. Envisioning the ice gathering, forming a blade like your son's own magical crystal swords he'd made when the two of you killed that god Nabu together. Drawing more and more of that cold down your arm, you feel a weight suddenly settle at the end of your arm. Opening your eyes, you look down at your right arm. And see you've successfully shaped that ice into a weapon, a blade of frost radiating an absolute chill. And you feel a wicked grin spread across your face as your fingers, crunching the ice that had frozen in your hand as you grip the handle. “Alright, monster. Let's see how you handle THIS!”

The beast, meanwhile, has returned to trying to rip a hole through reality itself once more, seemingly desperate to escape you. But you're not letting it get away, dashing in with blinding speed. Grabbing the hilt of your new weapon in both hands, you lunge in the Djem So's most powerful attack. Bringing the frigid blade crashing down on the first tentacle you'd reached trying to pry open an escape route from reality back to not. And as you bring your frosty blade down, swinging it with the full power of your arms and back, the icy blade cleaves straight through it seemingly without resistance. And IMMEDIATELY the beast reacts, releasing an even more piercing, keening cry of pain. One that reverberates across the entire audible and inaudible spectrum simultaneously, the sheer force of the cry cracking your arm guards and boots. The monster recoiling even more than when your ice had come into contact with its skin and teeth before. The severed tendril flails wildly, uncontrollably as your ice rapidly spreads across the injury and over its limb. The severed end falls, the ice spreading over it as well. Encasing it in a small iceberg as it crashes to the ground far below.

“That's it, this can end it.” you mutter to yourself, then hear a terrible crack through the air. Your head whips around, and you see it: it's nearly succeeded in tearing through reality already! The sky is cracked, like a broken window. Fractures running through the air on nothing, it's nearly breached through! “Oh no you don't!”

As you shout your body's already moving, dashing to the tear its ripping open in reality, frosty blade flashing back and forth as you start slashing the tendrils. You swing the weapon back and forth, cleaving through tendril after tendril. Chopping it apart limb by limb, cutting through a dozen more until it relents and retreats. The severed tendrils, bleeding everywhere, all recoil together. And as you watch, the tendrils reach down INTO the beast's own mouths.

“What the hell...?” you mutter to yourself, wondering aloud what it's doing. But then your instincts warn you to not let it finish whatever it's trying, and so you don't hesitate. Dashing down, hands frozen clenched around the sword, you dash in. Closing the distance in a blink, carving through several other tendrils before reaching it. And with your sword raised overhead, you let out a roar as you slash deep into one of its many eyes. But you don't stop at a single slash, no. Instead you unleash a furious assault, slashing repeatedly. Carving your way into the beast's eye socket, deeper and deeper INTO the beast itself. Each slash into its essence spreading your ice further inside it, carving and slashing your way through its very being until, with a final horizontal slash, you cleave your way back OUT of the monster. Dashing out, you turn, looking at your work as your chest heaves. Your breathing turning ragged, as even as you suck air down, it feels thin. Like your body isn't taking in enough air, as you look from the beast down to yourself. And see your arms up to just past your elbows have turned blue from the cold. You have to end this, and soon, or your own power will put you down first. “Tch!”

Looking back up to it, however, the beast is writhing through the air as the ice seemingly takes it from within. Its essence freezing from where you'd slashed through it, the writhing slowing down as it is slowly being encased in ice.

But what do you do?

“Dammit, I'm almost out of time! I have to end this, now!” you say to yourself, tightening your grip on the icy blade. Feeling the ice crunch in your hands, fracturing momentarily before the ice re-freezes the cracks back shut. As you look back up at the being, despite its body freezing, you can see it distorting. The wriggling, undefined mass of its body trying to reshape itself, to change to a state that it can escape the ice engulfing it. Causing the ice enveloping it to slowly crack, breaking free of its cold bonds slowly. But then you have an idea, as you look back down at your blade. Remembering what Chilli'd told you happened to him, and realizing that might be the ticket to stopping this monster once and for all. “Worth a shot.”

Your body tenses, then you explode towards the wriggling mass of the creature. The ice shattering around it as its body warps and distorts itself, slowly shedding the cracked ice that had engulfed it.

“You think you can escape it that easily? Let's see how you handle the whole thing!” you declare, drawing every ounce of the cold from your body into your blade. Which begins howling like a blizzard as you charge, a swirling vortex of frosty air trailing behind you like a comet's tail as you streak up towards the wriggling horror. “Take THIS! HAAA! HRRYAAA!”

You roar, closing the gap and slashing it twice. Making a large “X” in its side. Then as it writhes and howls in pain, you draw your blade back. And putting everything you've got into this final attack, thrust your blade straight into the intersection of the X you slashed into it. Burying your frigid blade deep into it, thrusting so deep you sink into it past your elbows.

“Let your meager flame freeze, and cease forever.” your mouth says without waiting for your mind, the words themselves coming up from your icy power's core itself. Then, twisting your arms in opposite directions, shatter the handle of the blade. Pulling your arms free and kicking off the monster, flying back. Only for the icy power within you to suddenly retreat, your Supreme Instinct fading completely as you shrink back down to your normal size. Falling backwards through the air down towards the ground below, yet despite no longer using the power, the ice continues to spread all over your body. Encasing you in a small cocoon of ice as you fall through the air, everything slowly going dark even with your eyes frozen open. But you don't take your eyes off the otherworldly being even as you feel your consciousness fading, the last thing you see before darkness takes you entirely is the frozen entity suddenly shattering as someone fires a golden blast at it. Your frigid power having frozen it completely, that attack merely confirming that whatever it had resembling life had been snuffed out by your icy power.

The next thing you know, you feel... Cold. Terribly cold, yet there is also warmth. Heat, slowly seeping into you. First, into your fingers and toes, the warmth cutting through the cold darkness that had enveloped you. You aren't sure how long has passed, but as your mind slowly rises from the frozen fog, you feel the warmth seeping into you. You hang in this suspended state for an unknown amount of time, it could be minutes or years, time has lost all meaning in the frozen endlessness you were trapped in. However, as the warmth continues to fill you, you can feel the life it brings with it. From your fingers, ears, toes, and the tip of your tail up through your hands and feet, then ankles and wrists as well as your head and tail, then slowly spreading up your appendages towards your torso. The heat spreading through you like filling a glass with water, you feel your eyes slowly opening. And as you blink awake, you find yourself somewhere completely unexpected: seemingly submerged in molten lava.

“Wh-Huh?” you mutter to yourself, running a thawing hand through the magma surrounding you. Yet your head isn't submerged, you twisting your body through the magma and turning. Finding a massive face looking down at you, one you recognize. “New Salda?”
“YES. IT IS I. AND YOU ARE FINALLY AWAKE.” your planet's voice booms, echoing in the chamber you're in. Looking around momentarily, realizing that you're back deep within New Salda itself, at the same ancient native's temple you'd visited the other day. And you're not only being held by the planet's colossal avatar, but that you'd been nestled in its bosom. The planet using its own heat, holding you close to chase the cold away and bring you back. “I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO LOSE YOU.”

“I'm alive. Thanks to you. That cold power nearly ended me.” you say, grateful to New Salda. Letting the avatar of your world's warmth continue to seep into your cold body, warming you up further by the second. Having been so frozen that even nestled in the magma of her form, you're still barely feeling the heat. Leaving you to realize how close you'd come to Lifehunt ending you, just as it had seemingly ended that entity as well.

But what now?
>Ask New Salda if Raven's okay, you've been worried about her ever since you heard Meloka tell you what she'd been told from Okira
>Telepathically try and reach out to Meloka, see what she has to say and what you've missed

“Is Raven okay?” you ask, calling up to your world's living avatar. “I heard she was having trouble, that something happened. Is she alright?”
“THE GUARDIAN WAS INJURED BY THE ENTITY YOU FACED.” New Salda tells you, its voice booming in the massive subterranean chamber. “HER MIND COULDN'T WITHSTAND THE ENTITY'S PRESENCE. SOMETHING WITHIN HER... BROKE.”

“Broke? What do you mean, broke?” you ask her, your worry increasing to near-panic immediately. “New Salda, what happened?”
“I DO NOT KNOW. HER MIND, IT COULD NOT WITHSTAND THE WEIGHT OF THAT BEING. AND SHE BROKE.” New Salda answers, and you can feel the worry in the world's own voice. “YOUR MATES AND CHILDREN SUBDUED HER. HOWEVER, I CANNOT REACH HER NOW. OUR LINK, IT HAS BEEN... SEVERED.”

“Severed?” you ask, eyes widening as your blood runs cold once more. “What do you mean, severed?”
“I AM BONDED TO THE BEARER OF THE MANTLE OF GUARDIAN. BUT WHEN HER MIND BROKE AND SHE TURNED FERAL, THE MANTLE DEPARTED HER. AND I CANNOT RE-ESTABLISH THE BOND MYSELF.” New Salda tells you. And you can feel the concern of your world through the link and hear it in her booming voice. “WARM YOURSELF, MY CHAMPION. REST, LET ME WARM YOU, MELT AWAY THE NULL CHILL. AND WHEN YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH, I SHALL RETURN YOU TO THE SURFACE. TO SAVE HER.”

“Right. I'll do everything I can to save her.” you reply, nodding seriously. Only for another thought to come to mind. “Say, how long have I been down here?”
“THE DISTANT, LIFE-GIVING STAR HAS TRAVELED FULLY ACROSS MY SURFACE ONCE, SINCE YOU HAVE BEEN DOWN HERE.” New Salda replies. You realizing you've been submerged in her lava for a whole day, and only now is the feeling returning to your body, heat returning to your nearly-frozen form. The realization of just how close you'd come to dying hitting you even harder. You'd been bathed in molten rock for an entire day, and you can still feel the chill in your chest.

“Thank you. For saving me.” you say quietly, closing your eyes and letting yourself sink a little deeper into New Salda's molten form. Letting her heat infuse you, melting away the ice still inside you. But your thoughts are of Raven, hoping against hope that there's something you can do to save her.

>A layer of frost covering your body as you dash in, laying a hand on the gathering energy. And immediately your icy power seeps into the beast's own, and as you watch your icy chill begins freezing the attack solid!
This is so nice that Karn has something that can counter the uncomprehensible powers of The End. This Lifehunt really does awesome things.
It’s great. This is really working.
>>6466362
>And see you've successfully shaped that ice into a weapon, a blade of frost radiating an absolute chill.
This is so cool and so deadly. Might be the one of the most dangerous weapons. Even to Karn.

>And putting everything you've got into this final attack, thrust your blade straight into the intersection of the X you slashed into it. Burying your frigid blade deep into it, thrusting so deep you sink into it past your elbows.
What a great idea. Leaving the ice blade there, so the monster will freeze from within. Very good.
>“Let your meager flame freeze, and cease forever.” your mouth says without waiting for your mind, the words themselves coming up from your icy power's core itself.
How interesting. Is this something Priscilla would say? It’s like through the use of Lifehunt, Karn somehow tapped into some memory of hers? Who else would say this? Wasn’t she the only user of this power? Does this mean that in the power of Lifehunt there is also some ancient knowledge and memories hidden and preserved? If Karn will keep using it maybe he will suddenly “remember” things he never saw or places he never was before. Very intriguing.
>Your frigid power having frozen it completely, that attack merely confirming that whatever it had resembling life had been snuffed out by your icy power.
That was such a hard fight. I don’t know if Granolah can be more difficult than this incomprehensible monster.

That is crazy how strong the chill was. To be in lava for so long and only now slowly warm up. It’s awesome that New Salda helped Karn with this and saved his life. I mean that would be a real death. No going to afterlife to see King Yemma, because Karn’s soul would be gone too.
>>6466450
>And that's it for tonight, everyone enjoy the ride?
Yes. Very much. Exciting episode.
>You have managed to kill a being from beyond reality itself, did you think you would manage that?
I am very positively surprised. This is great, because otherwise we would have to probably chase it away from reality. And after that be on guard for its certain return.
>Or did you think the best you could do would be to run it out of your reality so it wouldn't come back?
I did not have any assumptions. This being is so crazy and so strange. Hard to predict what it will do, or if it can even die, like most things in this reality.
> Are you ready to go to Raven, and see if there's anything you can do to save her?
Yes. Though what if through some magic we will have to enter Raven’s mind, like in a dream, and find her there? I know it sounds crazy, but with those out of reality monsters, I never know what to expect.
>And see the shape everyone's in a day after facing down a mindbroken Raven?
I guess this implies that subduing her was very difficult. It also means that evil Raven would be nightmare threat.

Quite possibly. As you saw with the Berserker Soul itself, the soul is affected by the wielder. And how now the Berserker Soul resembles Karn instead of its previous wielder.

Well, the difference between him and what you just fought is the being you just fought was the equivalent to a newborn baby and not a thinking, strategizing opponent.

Well, you don't have to worry about THAT one's return. However...
Unlike most things in this reality, what it can and can't do are entirely different. If you hadn't stopped it from eating its tendrils, it would have eaten itself to escape this reality and return to the void.

For the next several minutes, you remain motionless. Focusing on your breathing, relaxing and letting New Salda's warmth infuse your still-chilled body. And before you even realize it, you've slipped back into the late Guardian's special breathing technique. A soft, golden glow emanating from you. Causing small ripples in the molten liquid around you, as you feel your body slowly recovering. Your Hamon breathing accelerating the spread of New Salda's warmth throughout your body, melting the ice faster and faster. The planet's avatar doesn't speak up either, clearly content to focus on nurturing you, thawing you back out.

However, as you thaw out, a realization comes to mind. New Salda's connection to Raven was likely far deeper than your own, as the Guardian is so inundated and interconnected with the planet itself they can no longer leave. Understanding dawning after that revelation that losing Raven this way undoubtedly hurt New Salda as much as what happened to Tomi when Tatsu was slain by Dumplin. And the psychic backlash she sustained as that bond was severed. And with this new understanding you speak up, addressing New Salda directly.

“I'm sorry.” you say softly, feeling understanding blooming through your link to the planet.
“YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BE SORRY FOR, MY CHAMPION. YOU DID YOUR BEST TO PROTECT US FROM THAT THING.” comes New Salda's reply, voice booming through the cavern. “YOU ARE THE REASON SO FEW WERE AFFECTED.”
“Wait, so few?” you ask, feeling another spike of worry. “What do you mean, few?”

“THE GUARDIAN WAS NOT THE ONLY BEING WHOSE MIND WAS CRUSHED BY THAT BEING THAT SHOULD NOT BE.” comes your planet's voice after a moment of quiet, as if considering how to answer you. “THE BEING'S PRESENCE BROKE SEVERAL MINDS EVERY SINGLE MINUTE IT WAS IN OUR REALITY.”
“So Raven wasn't the only victim...” you say, as weariness lands heavy on your shoulders. If you had gone all-out from the start, then it's possible several people's minds wouldn't have been crushed by that otherworldly predator's influence. “How do we stop it?”
“I DO NOT KNOW. ALL I KNOW IS THAT SHOULD NOT BE.” comes the avatar's reply. “EVEN THE DARK, WRONG AS IT IS, IS STILL -OF- EXISTENCE ITSELF. THAT BEING WAS... NOT.”

A moment of silence then passes between you, and you suddenly feel it. A single bead of sweat on your brow, one that you idly reach up and brush off. Only to see your arm is now starting to turn red, the heat having filled you so fully that it's now no longer chasing the chill away. But is starting to burn you instead.

With a thought you fly out from New Salda's bosom, letting your aura flare up around you. Only now realizing that, somehow, New Salda had activated your Champion power on its own, using the power it gives you itself to reinforce your frozen body and allow you to withstand her heat without being fried outside yet still frozen inside.

“I'm ready to return to the surface.” you say as you fly up eye level to the titanic avatar's face. “Take me to her.”
“OF COURSE, MY CHAMPION.” New Salda replies, reaching up. Wrapping its hands around you, forming a perfect, airtight chamber as you suddenly feel her move. Rising up through the planet's crust like riding up an elevator, and after a minute its hands open. The pressure difference stealing your balance a moment, until your ears pop and you regain your equilibrium.

“Thank you New Salda.” you say, waving to the avatar as you step off her other hand onto the sands of the beach, where several members of your family are gathered. And, to your surprise, both Chilli and Caulifla are kneeling by Raven's sides, while her head is in Towa's lap, laying peacefully still and immobile on the sand. Eyes shut, and if you hadn't been warned by New Salda what happened to her, she's seemingly sleeping peacefully. But as you arrive, everyone, except the clearly unconscious or worse Raven, turns towards you. Your wife blitzing you, slamming into you chest as she wraps her arms around your neck, clutching you desperately as she buries her face in your neck. “Sorry about that, didn't mean to worry you.”

“Worry? WORRY? The planet abducted you, and took you so deep into the planet I couldn't feel your presence anymore. I was well past worried!” your wife whispers softly, trembling a moment, letting you feel her worry before she recomposes herself around everyone. “I'm just glad you're okay.”
“Thank New Salda for that. I've been laying in a lava bath since she took me, trying to melt the ice inside me.” you reply, feeling Meloka freeze in place against you at your words. She understands immediately how closely that means you must have come to freezing to death completely, clutching you tighter. Your arms reach up, hugging her to you. The two of you sharing a private moment, no one interrupting. And when she finally pulls back, you see the tears threatening to spill from her eyes.

But what do you do now?

You hug Meloka back to your chest, letting her spill her tears unobserved if she wishes. Turning your attention to everyone else, looking over the group.

“What happened?” you ask them, your kids looking between one another uncertainly. But Towa is the first one to speak, raising her gaze from Raven's closed eyes to you.
“That entity. The being you encountered. When it breached the veil, its mere presence inflicted a metaphysical 'weight' on reality.” she says quietly, brows furrowed as she tries to explain what happened. “Many of the more-sensitive minds couldn't withstand the weight of it, and were crushed. Some simply collapsed, their minds crushed by the weight. While others had their minds broken, succumbing to some sort of madness. Lashing out violently, randomly and without reason. Attacking everyone in sight.”

“Fortunately, it seems that everyone who had their mind broken by that entity's presence has been subdued.” Caulifla says, your daughter still looking worried. “I did what I could for them all, but as of yet no one who lost their mind has awakened.”
“When they wake up, we'll see if they've recovered. And if they haven't, well... That's why Caulifla called me over.” Chilli says, you meeting your son's gaze. Seeing the concern there. “If the madness still has them, there might be a way to save them.”
“I already told you, even using Chaos won't bring back their minds.” Towa says with a frustrated sigh. “Undoing time on them won't affect the damage cause by a being that exists outside the very concept.”

“Why won't Chaos work?” you ask Towa, brows furrowed. “Wouldn't undoing their mind and body to before it appeared reverse the damage?”
“It's not that simple.” she says with a sigh, gesturing down at Raven. “And Chilli already tried on Raven. But it didn't undo her current condition. Think of this madness less like something that's happened TO them, but more of a virus. Something spread by that being due to it entering our reality. And that it is unaffected by Chaos, as it is beyond time itself.”

“Then, what about the Dragon Balls?” you ask, everyone looking at you. “Can't they undo what happened to them then? Restore them, remove the madness and whatever else that entity did to them?”
“I...” Towa starts, then laughs. A genuine bellow of laughter, pressing a palm to her forehead as she shakes her head. “The Dragon Balls. How the hell did I forget about THEM? Of all the... Yes, they might work. The Super Dragon Balls certainly have the power, but we have to wait for them. With having just used them for the Tournament of Power, they're still inactive. But there are at least three other sets to use.”

Towa holds up a hand, counting on her fingers as she goes through each set.

“In this universe, Planet Namek has their set, Earth has two sets, and Planet Cereal has a set as well.” Towa tells you, your eyes widening as realization dawns. “Yes. Tomorrow, when you go to face Granolah, it might be best to bring someone else along who can gather the two Dragon Balls on that world.”
“Two? Not seven, or three?” Koruza asks, your youngest half-demon son looking worried. “If I'd have known this was going to happen, I'd have saved the wish in the demon realm...”
“Yes, Planet Cereal's dragon only has two. As for the Demon Realm Dragon Balls, what's done is done. We'll just have to work with what we have available now.”

“Yeah. So, I'll check Earth first. See if their Dragon Balls are ready.” you say, raising your right hand to your forehead, reaching out. But Earth is to far away, so you reach out telepathically first. “Dumplin. Popo. We need to talk.”
“Karn? You're finally awake. Yes, we should talk.” he replies, you focusing on his ki through the mental link. And with a thought, your wife still in your arms, teleport. Leaving New Salda behind with your Instant Transmission, appearing on the floating platform called The Lookout. And as you appear, you see Dumplin in his disguise, his new persona. Patterned jacket, puffy white pants, turban on his head and wearing a rad sash belt and red shoes. “I must say, I'm impressed.”

“Impressed? What do you mean?” you ask him, Meloka's head turning, glaring at him. He doesn't even so much as blink at her, keeping his focus on you.
“I was watching your battle with that offspring. Well done.” he says, your brow raising in response.
“What? Offspring?” your wife asks him, feeling the sudden tension in her body. “What do you mean, offspring?”

“The being you both fought wasn't The End. It was to that entity like a plucked hair is to either of you.” Dumplin clarifies, a shiver running up your spine as you remember your confrontation with the truth of The End. “That entity you battled was only an infinitesimally small fragment shed from The End. Too small for The End to actually notice when you destroyed it. However, it is a signifier that The End is drawing ever-nearer to reality.”
“And what it did to my people? Can they be fixed?” you ask Mr. Popo, holding his unnerving, unblinking gaze. You tell him what you learned, then Meloka adds in what she saw as well.

“After Raven was subdued, several others had also gone mad. They were raving and attacking everyone mindlessly, causing chaos in the cities. They couldn't even hear words anymore, and one... Was bleeding out through her eyes, saying she would 'spread the truth'.” Meloka says, shivering in your arms.
“We considered the Dragon Balls, if they're ready to be used. Do you think that will work?” you ask him, meeting his gaze again. “Can we save them? Towa says we can't use Chilli's Chaos powers to save them, that undoing time on them won't fix them.”
“Hmmmm.” he replies, bringing a hand to his chin as he ponders it. “Towa's right, Chaos won't undo having their minds crushed. As their minds have been crushed all across time simultaneously. Undoing time won't change what happened to them, no. But perhaps, if worded correctly, the Dragon Balls could...”

“Very well. You're free to gather and use the Dragon Balls, as soon as they're ready.” he tells you with a nod. “However, they're still inactive from Chaya's wish to save Raditz and his family.”
“Inactive? Damn.” you reply, shaking your head. “We can't wait that long for them to recover. We have to save Raven and the others. New Salda's connection to Raven, our planet's Guardian, has been severed.”

“WHAT?!” Dumplin asks, the disguised voice dropping a moment in his sudden worry. “That's not good. That's not good at all. Is New Salda itself okay?”
“As far as I could tell. It held me for the past day, slowly thawing me from Lifehunt's icy grip.” you reply, Dumplin looking more worried now, not less. But he keeps his worry to himself, not addressing it. Instead, looking for a solution. “Namek's Dragon Balls recharge in only three months, while Earth's take a whole year. However, there is another option.”

“What option?” Meloka asks, her earlier hesitation gone entirely now. “What can we do?”
“Well, there's always... No.” he says, shaking his head. Clearly keeping something from you, but you don't know what. “No, your best option will be Planet Cereal. Their Dragon Balls don't have a down time. They don't need time to rest and recharge, unless several wishes are made in rapid succession. Using them will be your best bet to save everyone.”

But what do you do now?

“Appreciate it. But, speaking of: is there any way you know of to help us track down the Dragon Balls?” you ask him, raising a brow. “While I'm fighting Granolah, with Meloka backing me up in case he brings help, would be nice to have someone searching for the Dragon Balls while we're fighting him. After all, it's my granddaughter's birthday tomorrow, and the sooner we can wrap everything up and get to her party, the better.”
“Oh, well then, wish her happy birthday from me.” he replies, then nods. “As for finding them, of course. For that, a human scientist here on Earth has developed something she calls the Dragon Radar. It is attuned to the specific frequency of energy radiating from the Dragon Balls. With that, it will be able to find them as long as they're anywhere on the planet. To within a foot or two at most.”

“A radar? Interesting.” your wife replies with a hum. “That could be quite useful. Who has it?”
“A scientist, who now works for the Red Ribbon Army by the name of Bulma Briefs. She, along with Dr. Gero himself, are responsible for Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien being turned into cyborgs strong enough to defeat the Demon King Piccolo.” he tells you both, then shapeshifts himself. Taking on the appearance of a woman with blue hair, even seemingly mimicking her voice. “Right now, I'm at their fortress' training grounds.”

Dumplin then reshapes himself, returning to his new visage of Mr. Popo.

“I can take you there, if you wish. Or, feel free to fly down yourself.” he answers, to which you and Meloka share a look. Then, after reaching an unspoken agreement and nodding to one another, turn back to him.
“Thanks for the offer, but we'll fly down there together.” you tell him, Mr. Popo nodding in understanding. “Thanks for everything, this was a huge help.”
“Of course, Karn. Anytime.” he says, waving as you turn and walk to the edge, jumping off and flying down through the clouds. Still holding your wife in your arms, Meloka nestling closer as the two of you descend through the clouds. Finding yourselves over a massive forest, flying south. Quickly finding the massive fortress once more, flying to a stop outside the massive dome. Which, you realize as you get close, has been repaired once more.

“Looks like we're here.” you say to your wife, looking at her in your arms. “You ready?”
“Ready.” she replies, kissing you then flying out of your arms. Flying up beside you, taking a deep breath. “Let's do this.”

ok so, seeing how Karn almost turned into a popsicle from his own power i decided to reread some of our history with the Lifehunt, particularly the time we fought its original wielder... >You damn near died from that chill. But a better question is, how will all that cold New Salda absorbed from you affect it?
Wait. She absorbed it? It did not evaporate nicely? I thought she just thawed the ice and Lifehunt was gone and that is it. Lifehunt the literal life snuffing “poison” that as we saw with its ice seems to spread on its own when allowed. She now has it inside her like Chilli had the shard of Death in him. New Salda is strong and full of life but this will course through her and spread. Slowly at first it will chill her and change her. Will Karn’s home world become like ice prison in the Painted World? Maybe? Will all life be extinguished on this planet? Also possible. Though at first maybe nobody will notice what has already started.
>Unlike most things in this reality, what it can and can't do are entirely different. If you hadn't stopped it from eating its tendrils, it would have eaten itself to escape this reality and return to the void.
That’s what I’m talking about. This is totally unexpected. I would not predict that monster devouring itself would not kill it but instead free it from our reality.

That’s very nice that she could awaken Champion power even when Karn was asleep.

That looks quite hopeless. Interestingly Chronoa was able to help Freeza in The Room of Spirit and Time. Though probably what she did is something unique that not many beside her can do. She took away Freeza’s memories of what happened. Then again former emperor’s mind was not damaged this much as mind of Raven.
>>6466725
>He doesn't even so much as blink at her, keeping his focus on you.
I don’t remember him ever blinking honestly.
>“I was watching your battle with that offspring. Well done.” he says, your brow raising in response.
He has rare knowledge about what is beyond reality, so it is interesting what he says. It is surprising that said “offspring”. It means it was a separate being. One who could act independently. If The End was vanquished and this “little thing” remained, theoretically perhaps it would be capable to grow and eventually reach the scale of its parent (The End). I know something like this does not happens overnight, but Hadar was not always this huge too.

It was “offspring” of the Devourer. I was thinking that it was more like something that Kars did when he fought with Freeza. He shoot out feathers like bullets into Freeza, the feathers transformed into fishes then. When Kars’ body was destroyed by Hakai, the remaining fishes recombined into his head and from this his body regenerated. I was thinking that this “little monster” that Karn faced was also a part of The End, that it was still under its control. I assumed that what the invader saw, the big End saw too. But that’s not the case. It’s better this way for us.
>“After Raven was subdued, several others had also gone mad. They were raving and attacking everyone mindlessly, causing chaos in the cities. They couldn't even hear words anymore, and one... Was bleeding out through her eyes, saying she would 'spread the truth'.”

That is a very interesting idea. Is it not how Spider Man was made? Human + spider genes.

If what you say would happen it would be genes of a “Saiyan” + “A being made of the soul of fire” + “the immortal dragons”. What could be the result of it? If this would go well then maybe Karn would indeed become stronger. Though perhaps he no longer would be a pure blood Saiyan. He would become something else. Honestly it is hard for me to predict the consequences of this, but it is very interesting.
>>
>>6467909
>Is it not how Spider Man was made? Human + spider genes
It varies from writer to writer, but yeah, Pete's genes were altered thanks to that spider bite. This somehow precludes him from being a Mutant, but it's whatever.
Anyways, I think the benefits of such a thing, assuming it's possible, would outweigh the potential harm. We know Lifehunt is one of the few things that works on entities from outside Reality, so we've gotta find some way to master it before we come up against something bigger than what was essentially a sentient piece of dandruff.
>>
>>6467355
No. Others have tried making "artificial" half-dragons, but none were truly successful. However, even Priscilla was also affected by her own power.
>>6467902
Cold is an absence of heat. To put that much heat into you, it had to come FROM somewhere. And absorbing that much heat from you lowered New Salda's temperature significantly. New Salda will recover, over time. Slowly.

>I love how many different spiders there are across continuities. Everything from magic to radiation causes Spider Man.
Much like every cycle of creation results in a Berserker Soul, even if the specifics vary. That begs the question though, who's the Spider Totem of this timeline? In Universe 7 I mean.
>But finding a way to more safely channel it than letting it radiate freely throughout your body
So like an arcane focus or those conductive suits they make for people who work on power lines? I can dig it, but what would be able to channel that energy safely and without becoming extremely brittle?
Would the Moonlight Sword work? Is New Salda's moon not lifeless by virtue of having a solidified core and no atmosphere? If it can still exist despite that, it should be able to stand up to the demands of Lifehunt, right?
>>
>>6467989
>And absorbing that much heat from you lowered New Salda's temperature significantly. New Salda will recover, over time. Slowly.
Oh. That’s a relief. I was worried that touch of Lifehunt caused some serious damage to New Salda. The kind of damage that would not heal on its own.
>She can undo such damage, carefully. But only by, and spoiler: taking that insight unto herself.
I appreciate that she did it for Freeza.
>But while he can actually defeat these sort of beings himself, with considerable difficulty, they're not immortal.
Because of this, I assume that even now, after losing much of his power, Dumplin (Popo) is still strong.
>There are ABSOLUTELY secrets you're unaware of.
Very intriguing.
>Yes. However, trying to mix mortals with the genes of immortal dragons often result in, well... pic very related.
This gif is my face when I see them. I understand it is a risky process.
>But what you should focus on isn't adapting to it. But finding a way to more safely channel it than letting it radiate freely throughout your body.
Very interesting. Well Karn already made the first step when he channeled it into the blade. When Lifehunt is active it seems to constantly flow through Karn. Does this mean he should learn how to quickly get it out of himself, but now waste it? To pour it into something that can be used. Just like the blade that killed the attacker from outside this reality.

The more of Lifehunt power he channels into this icy weapon, the stronger it will get. But at the same time touching the blade with his hand will damage Karn too. Should he use telekinesis to hold it instead? It is a simple solution but it might work.

And how to effectively channel the Lifehunt into point of focus that is the weapon?
Who is the among the best if not the best when it comes to channeling energy and manipulating it? That’s Meloka. Karn has the best teacher right next to him. She uses her Ki energy instead of Lifehunt. Nonetheless for some reason I think that if Karn learns from her to master his use of Ki better than before, it will be very helpful to wielding and controlling Lifehunt as well.

Channeling Lifehunt into the weapon might be the simplest thing for Karn to start with, as he already did this. As he progresses, maybe he could use this energy in the similar ways as Meloka does with her Ki.

Meloka has a technique called Energy Shell. Using this but with Liefunt instead of Ki could perhaps lead to something like this for example:
>spread an icy cloud of Lifehunt mist that targets a specific person. Freeze the life out of someone without physically touching them.
Maybe with practice, this and many other things could be possible?

Although simpler than this would be probably to channel Lifehunt ice into a “snowball” and then just use telekinesis to smash it onto someone.
>>
>>6467989
>Black Star Dragon Balls levels of risky.
Looks like maybe Karn was 1 dice roll away from using them, and then needing to go on a Dragon Ball GT adventure.

The spider is in Universe 6, not 7. 6 is Marvel, 7 is DC. As for WHO is the spider of U6, perhaps you'll meet him, if you ever visit that world?
So, to explain a bit more of Dark Souls lore that we're building off of, the soul is carried through the blood. Which means the Lifehunt radiates out from where blood is made, out through the marrow of your bones. Which is why it chills you so thoroughly when you use Lifehunt, your very skeleton is what's freezing first.
As for an external focus, no. Trying to make a physical object that can hold absolute zero will weaken and eventually shatter it. Even something as powerful as the moon.
>>6468754
Not permanent, but also not something that can be immediately undone. And could BECOME permanent, if New Salda isn't given time to recover first before doing so again and again.
Yes. Getting MORE insight doesn't really affect her anymore, she's quite literally forgotten more than everyone in your reality has seen combined.
He is absolutely a cosmic tier threat. Not a threat to The End, but still a viable threat even to you now.
The blade is a good first step to a viable method of wielding it. Something to draw the cold FROM you as the source of its power like that is decently effective at SLOWING the cold's spread through you.
>Using this but with Lifehunt instead of Ki could perhaps lead to something like this for example
That is a VERY BAD idea. You might as well make an aoe of everyone is now BREATHING IN MERCURY, that would be less deadly to yourself and everyone around you than what you suggested. Although Lifehunt ranged attacks are potentially on the table, you have to start back at the bare basics.
>>6468797
Yes. And on top of everything else going on, do you have the time for that too? Not to mention who else you're unaware of who might obtain them.

Soon.

Also, going to be trying something new this episode. Instead of two weeks, this one will be active for three. Board's slowed down even more since I switched to two week long episodes, right now we have six threads on the board. And next week would make seven with another new one. Going to try the new schedule with this episode and maybe the next, see how things work out.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Having defeated the entity thanks to the power of Lifehunt, Karn awoke the next day nestled within New Salda. Returning to the planet's surface, he discovered the aftermath of the battle, and the effects that being had on reality while it was here. Especially to Raven, who even the power of Chaos couldn't restore. Determined to aid his friend, Karn went to Dumplin, in his guise as Mr. Popo to find out what he could do. And the Dragon Balls were offered as a solution, Mr. Popo directing them to find the human scientist Bulma to acquire the Dragon Radar. And as we rejoin Karn, you and Meloka are outside the repaired dome of the Red Ribbon Army's base, ready to enter.

“Karn? Is that you?” a familiar mind suddenly reaches out to your own, one that you recognize after a moment.
“Cui?” you answer, both aloud and telepathically. “It's been awhile.”
“That it has. Ever since that last problem, things have been quiet around here.” he answers, then gets down to business. “What do you need, General?”
“I need to speak to one of the scientists. Bulma, I was told she has a device I need to acquire.” you think back to him. “Mind I come in?”

“Of course General, teleport to me and I'll take you to her.” comes the reply, you raising your right hand to your forehead to focus on his energy. Meloka reaches out, touching your arm as you then teleport to your ally. Finding him in what appears to be a training area, the gravity here several times higher than the rest of the planet. Not quite New Salda's gravity, but the fact they've already learned to manipulate gravity is impressive. And as you look around, you immediately spot Cui before you. As well as the surviving members of his team, and two of the enhanced Earthlings. The one with the face full of scars is fighting the three-eyed man, the two moving fast. Clearly having reached around Cui's own level in terms of power, their jump surprising you. But what's more surprising is the short one, Krillin. He's got a bar on his shoulders laden with absolutely massive weights as he squats them, completely lost in the focus of his training as Cui drops from the bar he was pulling himself up on, saluting you.

“General Karn. We finally got a gravity chamber installed, for training. So next time a crazy bitch -no offense Meloka- arrives to cause trouble, we'll be ready.” he says to you, clearly proud of the effort he's put in. You can't tell the difference in his power, not without a scouter as the chasm between your strengths is far too great. But he's also clearly working hard and so you nod.
“Heh.” she scoffs playfully, you seeing a smile on her lips from the corner of her mouth.
“So, General. Do you want to take it for a test drive? See what it can do, how far it can be pushed?” he asks you, gesturing towards the control panel. “Show these Earthlings just how strong you are?”

Well?

“Nah, not for today. I do have things to get to.” you answer him, then hold up a finger. “However, I can definitely offer you and your boys some pointers. Been training in higher gravity for a long time myself, I can help you all get the most out of it.”
“I- You, you'd do that?” Cui asks you, blinking in surprise. “Really? You'd do that for us?”
“Of course.” you reply, stretching your arms then your legs. “Let's get started.”

And for the next half hour you work with each of Cui's men. Correcting their form with lifting, teaching them how to stand properly, guiding them through your own daily workout. As you're teaching them, the Earthlings of Tien, Yamcha, and Krillin join in as well. And you teach them just as you teach Cui and his men, helping them push themselves as well. Showing each of them how to do it as well, helping the trio of the planet's own defenders. And as the training's finished, Cui shuts down the gravity chamber.

“Well done, everyone.” Cui tells his men and the Earthlings, then turns to you. “Appreciate your help, General. Now, let's go see Bulma.”
“You're heading to Bulma too? That's where I'm going, Cui. I'll take them with me.” the short bald man, Krillin speaks up. “Come on, Karn, Meloka. I'll lead the way.”
“I'll leave them to you, Krillin.” Cui tells him, then turns to you, meeting your gaze. “Kick that guy's ass tomorrow.”

“That's the plan, Cui.” you say with a smirk, the two of you sharing a salute before ending the gesture, turning and following the shorter man out of the chamber. He leads you all to an elevator that descends deeper and deeper into the facility, the door opening to what looks like a bizarre mix of workshop and hospital, and a blue-haired woman along with an elderly man working on the massive one you saw before. The giant man who stands eye level with Nappa and sporting a red mohawk. The man's eyes are closed, wires connecting to him in various places.
“Hey, Bulma, I'm back for the diagnosis. See if everything's working as intended. And I brought a couple guests.” Krillin calls out, both scientists looking up at his entrance and words. The woman, Bulma, looks curious. While the Red Ribbon leader, Dr. Gero, looks instantly suspicious.

“General Karn. What are you doing here?” Gero asks, voice laced with suspicion. “This is a restricted area.”

“Here to talk to Bulma.” you tell him, then turn to the woman. “I was told on good authority that you could help me. Specifically with tracking down Dragon Balls.”
“Yeah, I could. However, right now they're inert from that last wish. And the radar I developed only works while they're active. So, if you're looking for the Dragon Balls, you're going to have to wait until they've regained their charge.”

“That's fine, I'm not looking for the set on Earth. I need to help my friends back home, their minds were damaged by a monster that broke through reality and shatter their minds.” you tell her, both Bulma and Gero freezing. Going completely still, looking up at you with eyes widening in horror. Even Krillin looks stunned by what you're saying as you continue. “The planet I'm going to tomorrow, Planet Cereal, has a set of Dragon Balls. So, while I'm fighting the man who wants to exterminate my race, I'll have a friend using your radar to track them down and heal my people.”

“You know. I was hesitant to share. But if you're going to use it for helping people from some eldritch horror's side effects...” she says, voice trailing off a moment. “Okay. Krillin, would you get it? Third cabinet, fourth drawer down.”
“No problem.” the shorter man says, walking over to the designated drawer. However, Gero's gaze is focused intensely on you.
“This... Eldritch being you speak of. What happened?” he asks, seemingly genuinely interested. “What was it here for?”

“I battled a fragment of a being from beyond all known reality, a entity known as The End. It has existed for longer than dozens of realities, but the Supreme Kai of Time Aeos is working with the Demon God Mechikabura and the former Supreme Kai of Time Chronoa to devise a solution to ending this entity for good.” you tell them, watching the scientists' faces. They stare in silence a moment, then share a glance between them. And you get the feeling that, even without telepathy, that there's a whole conversation that went on that you missed before Dr. Gero speaks up.

“I... See. Well then, at least there is a group of beings deliberating the problem.” he says, turning his focus back to the giant asleep on his table. “Tell me, is that entity the reason your own body heat is significantly lower than even your wife's own?”
“What? Oh, no, that's due to the power I used to stop it. I spent the last day being an iceberg submerged in lava as my world's avatar tried to thaw me back out.” you reply, and Dr. Gero's hands still again. He looks from his project back up to you, and you can almost see the thoughts in his head as he stares at you.
“So. Cold is the key to disabling these entities? I shall remember that, during the next round of upgrades. Just in case one lands here, instead of your world.” he says, moving again with renewed purpose. But Bulma is just staring at you, jaw slightly agape for several more seconds before she recovers, and speaks.

“And here I thought the PTO was just in charge of handling problems in this universe. Wonder how much of it Lovecraft got right?” she asks, more to herself as she accepts the radar from Krillin, who finally found it and brought it over to her. She nods to him, then holds it up to you and your wife. “Here. Be careful with it, it is a rather delicate machine. If anything happens to it, bring it back. And I should have it back up and running in a few hours, maybe a day at most if it's severely damaged.”
“Thank you. My friends really need this. After I deal with Granolah, and we make the wish to fix my friends and allies, I'll be at my granddaughter's birthday tomorrow. So, I'll likely bring it back the day after, if that works for you?”

“Of course, and wish your granddaughter happy birthday. How old is she turning?” Bulma asks excitedly, causing you to stop and think for a moment. Brows furrow as you try and remember, your wife beating you to the answer.
“She'll be five this year.” Meloka says, you seeing the woman's expression turn complicated.
“Five years old...” Bulma says, and you see a tear form in the woman's eye. She looks almost wistful a moment, before shaking her head. Expression returning to something more neutral, but you can still see the longing in her eyes. “Well, wish her a happy birthday from us here on Earth. And I hope the Dragon Balls are able to save your friends.”

“Thank you, Bulma.” you say, gently taking the radar from her. “So, how does it work?”
“Oh, well that's easy. It only has the one button here. Clicking it changes the range the radar picks up on the signature from, from long range to close. So you can hunt for the general area of one, then when close can switch to short-range detection and can find one within two to three feet of you.” she answers, showing how it works. “And when it pings one, the radar sweep will make a noise as long as the radar's on. So you don't have to even be looking at it while searching to know when you're getting close.”

“Impressive tech. Thank you for this, truly.” you tell her, holding it gingerly a moment before passing the radar off to your wife. Which just leaves one question:

What now?
>Instant Transmission back home, you need to figure out who you'll bring along on this mission first. Who you'll entrust the radar to, to make the wish first
>Return home and get one final sparring match in with your wife, one more full-power fight of your Supreme Instinct versus her Primal Deity power before tomorrow's fight to the death with Granolah
>Ask if they need any help in return, if there's any way you can repay them for their help with the radar

“Speaking of tech...” you say, a thought coming to mind. “Have you all either reached out to, or had contact made by Daiko? He's the head scientist of the research team on New Salda. I'm not exactly a scientist myself, but there could be quite a bit of overlap in your fields of study.”
“No, as of yet we have not.” Dr. Gero says, raising a brow curiously. “Daiko, you say?”
“Yeah. He's good. Only had to be called into his labs to capture or take down a couple escaped experiments.” you reply, then remember something you'd almost forgotten about. Talking about it as you reach out telepathically back to your homeworld, finding Okira first. “I'll see if I can get him in touch with you all, probably when I return with the radar. Just have to make sure it's the REAL Daiko, and not that shapeshifter creature they made.”

“Wait, wha-?” Bulma starts to ask, but you're already leaving. Teleporting back to New Salda, reappearing by Okira. Who has taken Raven back inside the building, the mostly-submerged warship's tower. She turns her gaze from Raven to the two of you, eyes focusing on the rader.
“What's that?” she asks, curious.
“A radar. Designed to pick up the energy signatures of the Dragon Balls.” you tell her, your youngest daughter's eyes widening in understanding. And before you can even ask, she holds up a hand.

“I'll do it. Since you're here, I assume there are Dragon Balls on another world. I'll go, and recover them.” your daughter says resolutely. “Towa and I were discussing phrasings for the wish, to ensure everyone it affected, even those who don't seem to be, are fully okay.”
“Like a battering ram at a castle door. Just because the first swing didn't knock the door down, doesn't mean it didn't splinter the wood. Or that it hasn't been weakened. And the next swing could take it down.” her Stand, Imagine Dragon says, slithering out her mouth and addressing you. Knowing Meloka can't hear it, it doesn't speak her way at all.

“Are you sure?” you ask her, taking a knee and raising your right hand to lay it on her shoulder. “The only set of Dragon Balls we can go after are on Planet Cereal. The same planet I, and maybe your mother too, will be fighting the Cerelean Granolah. Likely to the death, as he's the one who wants to wipe our species out. It could be dangerous.”
“I'm dangerous too.” she says, eyes hard and resolute, showing no hesitation and only grim determination. “If I wasn't distracting her, her mind wouldn't have been an easy target for that monster to break. And she could have defended herself better.”

Okira clenches her fists tight, arms trembling slightly as you can feel her anger, guilt, and frustration with the way she's barely holding herself together. Clearly feeling responsible for Raven's condition, and wanting to make amends.

But how do you respond? What do you do?
>Accept, tell her you'll entrust gathering them and the wish to her. Then give her the radar and demonstrate how it works as Bulma had done for you
>Tell her of course she can go. But she's not going alone, for the same reason you're not going to fight Granolah alone. Then ask who she wants with her, for you all to ask to bring along as well

And help them design a communicator that will work from here to Earth so Daiko can be introduced to Bulma and Dr. Gero of Earth. That you owe them for helping with the radar, and you need her to help you return the favor

I don't want her anywhere near the planet, to be honest. Now, Imagine Dragon could potentially yoink the dragon balls very quickly, in and out, but Okira is still primo gankbait even with a powerful escort by her side. And I don't trust Granolah OR the Heeters to play fair.

“I know you want to help, Okira. But I have a very different mission for you to fulfill tomorrow.” you tell her, your daughter's brows furrowing as she holds your gaze. And again you hold up the radar as you continue. “I need you to help Daiko. I made a promise to the humans that, for letting me use this tech, I'd get them in contact with Daiko and his team, to let them collaborate. So I will need you to help them make something that will allow them to communicate, not through, well, OFFICIAL channels. Something they can use to talk to one another through, as well as collaborate on projects together. Can you do that for me?”

“You want me to build a portal between here and there?” she asks, sounding incredulous at the ask. And immediately you worry it might be beyond her powers, or there's complications with using her powers for this.
“It doesn't have to be a portal, not necessarily. Just something that will allow them to talk and work together, without worrying about their transmissions being overheard and/or intercepted between anyone else.” you tell her, but as you explain further her expression only turns darker. “Is that going to be okay? You can do it, can't you?”
“I can most certainly do that.” she answers, her tone a little curt. Which surprises you, she rarely gets short with you. “I'll have it done.”

“I really appreciate it.” you tell her, but when her expression doesn't soften, you ask her about it directly. “What's wrong, Okira?”
“Instead of helping Raven, you want me to just... Stay here, where it's SAFE! Not HELPING Raven, even though her condition's partly my fault! You don't trust me to help on the important mission!”
“Okira. That is ABSOLUTELY not true.” you say, setting the radar down and taking her other shoulder too, holding both her shoulders as you look into her eyes. “I know you would do everything within your power to collect them. And whoever ELSE is going to be looking for them will too.”

“Wait, what?” she asks, her expression immediately shifting. You can even feel Meloka's sudden shift, her sudden laser-focused attention on you.
“Do you think this is all coincidence? That the only set of Dragon Balls available to help Raven and everyone else are on the planet I'm going to be fighting Granolah on?” you ask her, holding her gaze. “The same Dragon Balls that the Tuffle monster no-doubt found, and made that wish for immortality on before he fought your older sister? That somehow Elec and the Heeters found out about too, and are helping bring your mother and I to the planet to fight him? There are too many 'coincidences' lining up with that planet, Okira. I don't like it.”

“When you put it like that...” Meloka says, sounding troubled as well. “Honestly, there's been so much going on this week, I never thought about it.”
“It sounds like a trap.” Okira says softly, to which you nod and squeeze her shoulders before continuing.
“And that's why you're not going. Not because I don't trust you. It's because I need you here, where you can do the most good without being in the absolute MOST dangerous place in the universe.” you tell her gently, then rise back up to your full height. “I know you want to do everything for Raven that you can. But you won't be able to help her if you get killed tomorrow.”

“I... I understand. Thank you, Dad. Sorry I got angry with you.” she says, closing her eyes and bowing her head a moment before looking back up at you, resolve in her eyes. “I will do as you ask. And be ready the moment you call for my help.”
“Thank you, kiddo.” you say, reaching down and picking her up in a hug. Holding her close for several moments before setting her back down, and picking up the radar. “I'm counting on you.”

She then turns to Raven, whispers something to her while she's unconscious and then turns and opens the door. Stepping out into the hallway, heading back outside. Leaving you and your wife alone with the unconscious, still breathing but completely unresponsive Raven. And one question hovering between you, that your wife asks aloud.

“So. If not Okira, then who are you going to ask to gather them, and make that wish?”

Well? Who do you trust to make that wish, and to be able to collect the Dragon Balls without issue?

“Who? Easy, Towa.” you tell your wife, Meloka raising a brow. “With her Demon God power, nothing native to this timeline should pose a threat to her. And if Hearts sends his minions after her, she can more than hold her own against them.”
“Well... When you put it like that, I think it's for the best.” your wife reluctantly agrees with a nod. “If he sends Cumber down as a distraction, or that crystal wielder, she'll be able to hold her own. But what if someone attacks home, while we're gone?”

“Between Broly, Raditz, Haathe, King Vegeta, Caulifla, Tatsu and Tomi, and all our friends and other children, I have no doubt New Salda will be fine.” you tell your wife, raising your right hand to your forehead. She nods, taking your hand. And with a thought you teleport, leaving Raven and teleporting directly to Towa's side. Who starts slightly as she senses your arrival, closing a screen before either of you can see what's on it as she turns.
“Karn? What's going on?” she asks, sounding worried and nervous. “Something happen?”

But before you answer, you hold out the radar to her. She looks from your face down to it, recognition dawning as she looks back up to you.

“A Dragon Radar? But why are you giving it to me?” she asks, tone suddenly concerned.
“We want your help tomorrow.” Meloka tells her, you seeing Towa's brows shoot up at your wife saying this. “While Karn and I deal with Granolah. We need you to gather the Dragon Balls on that planet. And wish to undo the damage that entity did to everyone while it was in our reality.”
“Okira told us you helped her craft the wish correctly. And with everything going on, tomorrow's battle feels more and more like an ambush waiting to happen.” you tell her, Towa looking from your wife up to you. “We trust you to have our back, and get this done. No matter what Elec, Hearts, or even that Tuffle menace's plans were.”

“The Tuffle-? Oh, right. Baby used Planet Cereal's Dragon Balls to wish himself immortal in this timeline.” Towa answers, then turns thoughtful. “I do wonder when Chilli took him to, sealed in that jar with the Mafuba like he was. But, you're right. Now is not the time to take chances. And the longer the damage is left in this reality, the faster it can spread. The sooner it is dealt with, the better.”

>That is a VERY BAD idea. You might as well make an aoe of everyone is now BREATHING IN MERCURY, that would be less deadly to yourself and everyone around you than what you suggested

>“I'll see if I can get him in touch with you all, probably when I return with the radar. Just have to make sure it's the REAL Daiko, and not that shapeshifter creature they made.”
I bet things Karn says may sound insane to them, but it gets even crazier when they realize it is all true.
> “Towa and I were discussing phrasings for the wish, to ensure everyone it affected, even those who don't seem to be, are fully okay.”
Awesome. This so good they figured out the correct wording.
>“Like a battering ram at a castle door. Just because the first swing didn't knock the door down, doesn't mean it didn't splinter the wood. Or that it hasn't been weakened. And the next swing could take it down.”
Good thing that smart beings thought about it before it turned into new problem.

This perhaps is something that could be described as very unpleasant knowledge to learn. Nonetheless it is time to hear it, so yes. Ready.

Yes, spreading death around you in a cloud is a highly-lethal attack. One I wouldn't recommend with any ally anywhere near you. Imagine feeling your throat and lungs freeze and crystallize?
Yeah, that's certainly one that won't help with Gero's paranoia.
Yes, a botched wish here could spell certain doom.
Potentially. Imagine Dragon is a fully sentient Stand with independent thought. It is probably the strongest natural, base Stand you've encountered.
Yup. Right into the center of the coming storm. Glad you're enjoying. This arc has been a lot of fun so far, and we're just getting started!

“Wait, spread?” you ask, suddenly worried yourself. Sharing a glance with Meloka, seeing her own worry mirroring yours. “What do you mean, spread?”
“The madness of the beyond is almost like a disease, or like rust spreading across the fabric of reality once the seeds of its distiortions are planted. The longer its damage is left, the further it can spread through those already broken and 'infected'. Everyone who has had their mind scrambled is... Think of it like a landmine emitting radiation, heat emanating from their collapsed forms. Dealing damage to the still-intact psyches of anyone near them. While you all were gone, two people tending to those who've had their minds crushed went mad themselves, and also had to be suppressed and restrained.”

“It's spreading...” you say, voice trailing off. Only to suddenly go completely still, blood running cold as an immediately worrying thought hits you.
“Okira!” you and Meloka both say, both raising your right hands towards your foreheads. Only for Towa to reach out, taking both your hands and stopping you both.
“She is fine. Her Imagine Dragon allowed her to weave protection around herself, for the time being at least. But...” Towa's voice drifts off, clearly debating on how much to say. Then, in a lower tone, she continues. “Even its protection isn't flawless. She has perhaps two days before her power to warp and reshape reality is overwhelmed. And if her mind falls, the damage she and her Stand could inflict would be catastrophic. It could be the end of everything.”

“Everything?” you ask, suddenly more worried. “How?”
“Her Stand. It can change the laws of reality, yes. But it can also be used to open a gateway.” Towa says, her voice serious, and even a little worried. “If her mind cracks and she falls, The End could be brought into our very reality immediately. And everyone and everything we've ever known will be consumed before any of us can escape.”

Silence hangs over the three of you, the stakes of tomorrow's battle higher than ever. If you all fail, Okira could bring about the end of everything.

“If... If she were to fall. She has to be stopped.” Towa says, her voice worried, quiet, trembling. “If the Dragon Balls cannot be gathered, the wish cannot be made in time, your daughter must die. For the sake of all reality, else your family, friends, world, reality, everything could be erased forever.”

Well? How do you respond?
>Tell Towa you can't do that, not to your own daughter. Even if it's the only way, you couldn't bring yourself to do it
>You understand, and will do everything in your power to prevent that outcome. But if you all fail, you know what must be done

“It's not going to come to that.” you say seriously, with finality. Both women looking at you with various expressions of worry and understanding. You can't even consider turning on your daughter like that, even for the sake of everything. So you're going to put everything into making sure that it doesn't come to this.
“Right. We'll do everything we can to make sure that doesn't come to pass.” your wife says, floating up and resting her hand on your cheek, turning your head to face her. Leaning in and kissing you gently. “We'll save them, Karn. Like we always do.”
“Indeed. I trust you both to do everything within your power. And I will do the same, to ensure that the wish happens without issue or interruption.” Towa says, standing up and embracing you as well. Resting her head against your chest, arms around you. “I will do everything I can to ensure you don't have to make that choice, I promise.”

The three of you stand there in the silence of their support of you, your arms coming up around both of them. Holding them tight a moment, then gently release them.

“Thank you, Towa.” you tell her seriously.
“Of course. You just focus on doing all you can.” she says, expression softening. “Besides. It doesn't matter if we save everyone from the extra-dimensional threat, if another wipes you all out the old-fashioned way anyways. Go on, leave the Dragon Balls to me. You focus on your fight, on taking Granolah down.”
“Right.” you reply, nodding to her, then turn to Meloka, who meets your gaze. Her own expression is conflicted, worried. But she nods to you as well.

“So. We have the rest of the day.” Meloka starts, her expression serious. “Anything else you need to do, before tomorrow?”

“Yeah. I know who we need to reach out to.” you tell your wife as Towa turns back to her screens, Dragon Radar sat next to one of her keyboards as she begins to type. “Arctus.”
“Arctus?” Meloka asks, clearly confused. “Why him? Are you going to ask him along?”
“No. But he has the Tuffle head, remember?” you reply, an idea forming. “We'll ask him. If the Tuffle had plans for Planet Cereal, any traps it left behind, maybe that head will know.”

“And if it knows, we can be ready for it.” Meloka agrees, nodding to you. “Good thinking hun.”
“Indeed. The more we know of what's coming, the better.” Towa replies, you turning towards her and seeing she's pulling up footage. And what you see surprises you, the Time Patroller version of Kakarot, Goku, in the Ultra Instinct form fighting a red-eyed man who can only be Granolah. And as you watch, he lands what looks like a devastating pressure point strike on the silver-haired Saiyan, dropping him. “When you face Granolah, don't underestimate him. His eyes can see your body's weak points as easily as you can see color.”

“I'll remember that.” you reply to Towa with a nod, closing your eyes and focusing as you reach out telepathically. “Arctus! Can you hear me?”
“Karn? It's been awhile, everything okay?” comes the reply, his thoughts slurring slightly.
“No. But, with everything going on, I wanted you to do something for me, if you would.” you reply, explaining the situation to him. “Can you help out?”

“Of course, come on by. I'm trawling through the data now.” he thinks back, already sounding stone cold sober as you focus, teleporting yourself and Meloka to his side. Reappearing in his damaged Droid factory, the sound of heavy machinery making more of his metal soldiers while others repair the damage ringing out. And as you appear, you see that the memories and data of the metal skull are being projected onto a wall through its eye sockets, Arctus clearly having been busy with it since he first broke the encryption. “So, you're wanting to see if that Tuffle machine, or Baby as it was called in the data, had any information pre-programmed in? If he learned it after you all raided and destroyed Planet M-2, then we won't find it. But if the Tuffles knew before, we might get some insight into its plans.”

And as you watch Arctus starts sorting the files, pulling data forth. And, sure enough, Planet Cereal appears in the data. Shots of the planet from space, as well as detailed data on Granolah. The same images you saw in Towa's information, which further confirms what you'd already discovered: Hearts, or another time traveler helped give that creature knowledge.

“Well. That's not good. That's not good at all.” Arctus says, reading something you can't decipher. “This is bad.”
“How bad is it?” you ask, the image changing. Going from the fight between Granolah and Goku to something else you can't decipher. Some sort of schematic, but for what you can't imagine. “What is this?”
“It seems that the plan was for Baby to travel to Planet Cereal, and not only take over Granolah's body, but to willingly convert him to the cause. As a being who already hates all Saiyan kind, combining his powers with the Tuffle's own. However, the data from the battle here was from AGE 781, twenty two years from now in another timeline.”

“Which means he won't be that powerful?” Meloka asks, Arctus shaking his head.
“No. Worse. It means that, when the Tuffle made its wish, according to this the Cerelean Dragon Balls don't have a recovery window for their use. So, according to this, the plan was to one, make Baby immortal. And two, to create an exact copy of Baby within Granolah. So that if the one failed, years later the second would be ready to return and seek revenge.” Arctus says, a hint of fear in his tone. “If that monster's still alive, and immortal to boot? We've got a problem.”
“Yeah.” you answer, sighing out. The weight of what you'd almost walked into completely unawares settling on your shoulders. Pieces begin to click into place, why the Heeters were so willing to help, why the one looked so furious when you'd bested him, it is all coming together. This isn't just about one being who lost his species to your own. But TWO of them, working together to bring about the end of your entire race.

But what now? What do you do? What CAN you do?
>Telepathically warn Raditz IMMEDIATELY, if anyone should know that monster's still alive, it's him

“Okay, that's threatening. Arctus, I need any weakness that were built into that thing.” you tell him, immediately worried about the consequences of what he told you. “How do we stop it? There's gotta be something in there, failsafes or weaknesses we can take advantage of, right?”
“Don't worry, Karn. I'll find every last weakness it has, and give you all of them I find.” he replies to you, fingers flying over his keyboard. Eyes flicking back and forth as he keeps reading over the streams of data. “I will convey everything to you telepathically, each weakness as I find and catalog it.”

“Thank you, Arctus. I appreciate it.” you tell him with a nod. “Let me know what you find out, or if anyone causes you trouble. That information could mean the difference between us succeeding tomorrow, and failing.”
“I won't let you down. I promise.” Arctus replies, and you can feel the sincerity in his tone. He's clearly fully committed, even as he continues typing with one hand, grabbing the bottle he'd been drinking from with the other and taking a swig. “By the time the Heeters arrive at Planet Cereal, I'll have every weakness you could possibly exploit ready for you.”

But before you can reply further, your stomach growls audibly. Causing him to stop a moment, turning and looking at you.

“You'd better go on, I don't have enough food here to feed one Saiyan, much less two.” he says to you and your wife with a chuckle. “Go on, finish your preparations General. Leave this to me.”
“Right. Thank you, Arctus.” you tell him, raising your right hand to your forehead as you close your eyes to focus. However, before you can return home, you sense a massive powerlevel rapidly approaching. Your eyes snapping back open, Meloka and Arctus sensing it as well. “Shit. We've got incoming.”
“I'm not expecting any company.” Arctus replies, and you know whoever it is, probably isn't friendly. Sharing a glance with Meloka, you both nod, rushing out of the still-damaged ceiling. Flying out into the open air, looking up towards the sky where you sense that distant powerlevel rapidly approaching. However, as it draws nearer and nearer, you can't get over the feeling that this power feels somehow... Familiar.

And that's it for this weekend, everyone enjoying the ride? Ready to see what weaknesses Arctus can find built into the Tuffle menace? Curious who is approaching that would be both strong enough to worry Karn, but also large enough to feel like a threat? Are you ready to finish your preparations for the long-awaited battle with Granolah? All this and more, next time when Saiyan Conqueror Quest continues!

I'm gonna go ahead and assume it's Cell and Amazo stopping by on their grand tour of Creation. That or it's one of our Kryptonian allies, but what business would any of them have with Arctus?
>>
>>6469520
These past few days in-quest don't feel like meaningful gains for what's going to be the fight of our life...so far. Fucking gains goblins everywhere eating into our schedule
Also, is Towa aware of that little technicality where Freeza was able to become strong enough to BTFO UE Vegeta, UI Goku, and a souped-up Gas because he technically wasn't in the universe to account for the "I want to be the strongest fighter in the universe" wish? (Granolah Saga Spoilers)
>>
>>6469523
>These past few days in-quest don't feel like meaningful gains
While we definitely haven't been training as much as we could have been, I'd argue the knowledge gains we got over the last few days more than make up for it.
Imagine if we went into a fight with a Baby-controlled Granolah and his time traveling allies without knowing about any of that shit beforehand. I'm not saying it would be an impossible fight to win, but it might be pretty damn close.
Thankfully it's not gonna be that close thanks to our friends, family, and allies and the time we took to actually interact with them.
>>

>>6469550

>>6469550
Well, you did lose a whole day of the week as a Karncicle.
>spoiler
Absolutely. However, Granolah made that wish after the ToP, and Beerus' and the Sacred world of the Kais are both part of Universe7.
>>6469560
You have gotten quite a lot of information. As well as a power you weren't truly able to tap into during the ToP itself in the past week, you'll have to thank Goku for pushing you to find this level of strength next time you meet him.
Imagine not being prepared for Baby, power-clashing Granolah hand-to-hand in a bind, then Baby up the nose? Could invade your body before you were even aware he was a potential threat in this fight. However, remember, these were the plans that were made BEFORE Baby acquired Raditz' body. Whether he went through with them or not is still unknown, but you DO know he went to that planet.
We'll see how close it actually is. Remember, his BASE powerlevel is now going to be stronger than your Supreme Instinct, as the Cereleans don't exactly transform. But you'll probably sense Granolah the instant you teleport aboard the Heeters' ship before it reaches atmosphere.

>“I battled a fragment of a being from beyond all known reality, an entity known as The End. It has existed for longer than dozens of realities, but the Supreme Kai of Time Aeos is working with the Demon God Mechikabura and the former Supreme Kai of Time Chronoa to devise a solution to ending this entity for good.”
I kind of want to ask about Time Patrol and the invader that Karn killed. When it attacked Okira’s father, no Time Patroller showed up.
Is that because:
>This attack of the small part of The End is considered a canonical event in our timeline now. Therefore it needs no action from guardians of time.
>Or the being attacking from outside of reality is something that Time Patrol should do something about, but they have so many situations to deal with now, they could not send anyone to help.
>Mechikabura was well aware what was going on, but decided that Karn needs to fight this monster without aid of Time Patrol in order become stronger.
>>6469386
>“The madness of the beyond is almost like a disease, or like rust spreading across the fabric of reality once the seeds of its distiortions are planted. The longer its damage is left, the further it can spread through those already broken and 'infected'. Everyone who has had their mind scrambled is... Think of it like a landmine emitting radiation, heat emanating from their collapsed forms. Dealing damage to the still-intact psyches of anyone near them. While you all were gone, two people tending to those who've had their minds crushed went mad themselves, and also had to be suppressed and restrained.”
This is insanely dangerous. The nightmare is spreading even when you try to contain it. I wonder how much damage could Baby cause if he fell under the influence of The End. It is probably better not to find out.
>>6466725
>Chaos won't undo having their minds crushed. As their minds have been crushed all across time simultaneously. Undoing time won't change what happened to them
If person infected dies and enters the afterlife does that person begins to spread the same distortions and infection in the afterlife?

>as you bring your frosty blade down, swinging it with the full power of your arms and back, the icy blade cleaves straight through it seemingly without resistance. And IMMEDIATELY the beast reacts, releasing an even more piercing, keening cry of pain. One that reverberates across the entire audible and inaudible spectrum simultaneously, the sheer force of the cry cracking your arm guards and boots.
Lifehunt truly hurts this monster, and in previous thread Karn managed to also harm it with Force Lightning. Maybe one of those days Karn could try to see what would happen if you attempt to combine Lifehunt and Force Lightning. It might be something good and deadly.
>>6469386
>“Her Stand. It can change the laws of reality, yes. But it can also be used to open a gateway.” Towa says, her voice serious, and even a little worried. “If her mind cracks and she falls, The End could be brought into our very reality immediately. And everyone and everything we've ever known will be consumed before any of us can escape.”
This is super scary, but I am really curious what would happen if Okira and her Stand found themselves outside of reality. The place where Karn and Ace saw The Devourer. Her stand can affect reality, but what about all that is outside of it? Can Imagine Dragon’s power do anything there? Or does it have no influence over what is beyond all reality?
>>6469460
>when the Tuffle made its wish, according to this the Cerelean Dragon Balls don't have a recovery window for their use.
Dragon Ball GT’s iconic villain is back. That is scary. Time traveler’s interventions in this timeline caused Baby to be capable of spreading the infecting nanobots even in the air around him. He can infect without touching anyone. I wonder what could happen if Karn activated his Lifehunt in a fight against Baby. Would Lifehunt’s destructive power destroy any nanobot that tries to infect Karn? Therefore making this way of taking control over Karn impossible for as long as Lifehunt is active.

Yes. Very much.
>Ready to see what weaknesses Arctus can find built into the Tuffle menace?
>“weaknesses (…) built into the Tuffle”
This looks like creator did not trust their own creation. Otherwise why purposefully build a weakness into Baby if not in anticipation that Tuffle King will turn against its maker.
>Curious who is approaching that would be both strong enough to worry Karn, but also large enough to feel like a threat?
If it is not Cell or Amazo, then I don’t know. If it is not any of Karn’s allies… then who would it be? Jiren? And why so far from home?
>Are you ready to finish your preparations for the long-awaited battle with Granolah?

>he tells you both, then shapeshifts himself. Taking on the appearance of a woman with blue hair, even seemingly mimicking her voice. “Right now, I'm at their fortress' training grounds.”
Perfect and effortless imitation. Puddin is Dumplin’s daughter. I think she can do this, too. I guess that maybe thanks to this shapeshifting skill she got close to steal our Time Scroll from Mechikabura, and the Dark King did not see through her disguise.
>>
>>6470172
>Karn managed to also harm it with Force Lightning
My guess is that since the End consumes whatever it comes across, raw emotional whatsits like the angry hurty of force lightning gives it a temporary ouchie as it processes the concepts of pain and emotional turmoil while it absorbs it. That's my crackhead theory anyway.

I give that a 7/10.
>>6470170
Good question. Why indeed? Was Mechikabura testing Karn? Or was it simply one of many situations Mechikabura's trying to handle as The End approaches?
Yes. The moment the eldritch madness begins to spread, it brings reality one step closer to oblivion.
>I wonder how much damage could Baby cause if he fell under the influence of The End
I wonder..
:^)

A very good question. But a better question is would their souls even GO to the afterlife? Or would they simply be consumed?
>>6470172
>combine
Might be risky, but could have unintended effects.
A VERY good question, one that hopefully won't have to be answered. Because if she's before The End, and her mind is already shown to be vulnerable... Being in its presence directly could break her.
A very good question. But it is highly unlikely ANYTHING can resist Lifehunt, as you saw it even affected a being that is neither "alive" nor of reality itself. A being older than the laws of this reality is still affected by it.
>>6470175

Ha, but no. As all the nearby cameras were scrambled by the entity's presence.

Not a bad theory. However, the emotions themselves wouldn't make much a difference to The End itself,, as it has consumed countless realities and spectrums of emotions in its incomprehensibly long live. But to a newborn fragment like the one you fought? You essentially cradle executed that thing like a lion on a newborn zebra. Well, to be more accurate in the scale of power, a radioactive cockroach taking out a newborn elephant.

>would gene therapy help? I mean taking whatever genes from Priscilla that made her able to withstand Lifehunt and implanting them into Karn.
I've been thinking about what you said and where it might lead.
>>6467989
>No. Others have tried making "artificial" half-dragons, but none were truly successful.
I understand that it is almost certain to get bad results with this. But what if there was a way to guarantee a best possible result, a perfect result. Maybe something like the first Crossbreed Priscilla?

How? Through a properly worded wish upon the Dragon Balls.

This way, theoretically, we could force it to get the best possible outcome of combining a Saiyan and genes of immortal dragons. Although even if it worked out and come without monstrous drawbacks and strange results like in here:
>Yes. However, trying to mix mortals with the genes of immortal dragons often result in, well... pic very related.
Even the successful merge would certainly change Karn a lot nonetheless.

I consider Peter Parker an example of a good result of adding spider genes to a human. If you look at him, he went from normal human to a super hero tier with unique abilities. He is no longer like a regular human, he is vastly different.

Because of this comparison, I think the change for Karn would also be big. It would be as impactful for Karn as it was for Peter when his spider genes awakened.

Therefore even if we can get only the “good results”, I still don’t know what this change would bring. It is still a risk. Jump into unknown.
Then there is also one last thing. GD said:
>However, even Priscilla was also affected by her own power.
If I understand this right, even going through all of this, would still not give Karn complete immunity to Lifehunt. Right?
>>
>>6470562
A blade is good because it's sharp, not a blunt object that could shatter. Last thing you want is catching Lifehunt ice shrapnel to the chest.
Oh, perhaps we'll see. After all, it's GOKU. If anyone could figure out a workaround for that, it's him.
Wouldn't be Mechikabura's first, fifth, or even tenth test.
Yes. Saving Raven is a high priority.
The radiation in the example did most of the heavy lifting. Hitting someone with Death is good, Hakai better, but BE NOT is industrial strength removal.
>>6470959
Even if you guaranteed that you would be successful, it would come with... Complications.
Gonna have to be a lot more specific on which Peter you mean. Was it the magical spider that was irradiated? The radiation itself that he gave MJ cancer with by busting? The radiation that turns him into man spider? A lot of variations even on that one almost-constant.
Yes. Even Priscilla was not immune to her own power. The first being born with that power in reality, and even she couldn't resist it with her half draconic half deity lineage and genetics.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After meeting with Cui and helping not only his team but the Earthlings get better results from their gravity training, Karn and Meloka were brought to the scientist Bulma to ask for her Dragon Radar. Which she graciously lent to Karn. Who, upon returning home gives Okira a task far away from tomorrow's conflict on Planet Cereal, collaborating with Daiko to make communication between Earth and New Salda's scientific minds possible. Then, after a meeting with Towa, entrusting her with the Dragon Radar and the responsibility of the wish to save everyone whose psyche was damaged by the eldritch being, Karn and Meloka traveled to Arctus' droid factory, to find out what else the Tuffle head knew. Where it's discovered the Tuffle parasite Baby had planned to copy itself, in case it were defeated, and to come seeking revenge once ready. But not only that, as we rejoin Karn, something strong is approaching.

“Shit, we've got incoming.” you say, your head turning towards the sky. Meloka and Arctus turn simultaneously, clearly also sensing it. As the power approaches, you can't help but feel that this power is somehow familiar, that you've sensed it somewhere before.
“I'm not expecting company.” Arctus replies, tone worried. You and Meloka share a glance, both of you immediately even more on edge. “Can you two handle it, while I keep digging?”
“Of course. Find every weakness that Tuffle bastard's got.” your wife replies, lifting up into the air. You follow her, taking to the sky as well. Flying out through the still damaged ceiling of his droid factory, taking to the sky. Where you and your wife hover, sensing the power drawing closer. But as the powerlevel gets closer and closer, you can't get over the odd feeling you've felt it before somewhere. Somewhere a long time ago. But where?

“I'm going to try and reach out to them.” you say, closing your eyes and focusing. Gathering your thoughts, and trying to telepathically reach them. Having intended to say, “Hello? This is General Karn, of the PTO. Who are you?”, however, the moment you feel your mind touch theirs, what feels like a primal, bestial roar floods your mind. Anger, hate, RAGE flood into your mind through the link, a rage that burns hotter than even your Berserker Soul's fury floods your mind. Images flash through your mind of massacres, extreme violence, then a single image crystalizes. Sveeral beings are held, bound on some sort of blood constructs as their blood pours from their bodies. Filling a lake of blood beneath a construct seemingly made of blood. A light glowing from within it like a lantern, and a booming, disembodied voice fills your mind.

“With blood and rage of crimson red, ripped from a corpse so freshly dead. Together with our hellish hate, we'll burn you all- that is your fate!” the voice, seemingly coming from that lantern itself says, then from the lantern a beam of bloody light blasts out. Engulfing your mind, flooding you with its rage. Only for the Berserker Soul to blaze in response, your body forcibly transforming as the Berserker Soul resists this other rage. Expelling it from your body, and as you open your eyes, gasping for air, you see your wife, also transformed, looking at you with worry.

“Karn? Can you hear me?” she asks worriedly, standing defensively. As if worried you're going to lose control and attack her. “Karn?”
“I'm. Okay.” you tell her, straightening up and shaking your head to re-focus, catching your breath. “I couldn't reach whatever's coming. But it's angry. Angrier than almost anything I've ever encountered.”
“So, it probably doesn't want to talk.” your wife replies, clenching her fists and blazing her divine aura. But then she turns, sensing how close it's gotten. You look up as well, and see it. A speck of light, slowly growing larger and brighter as it begins to reach the atmosphere. That same furious red glowing brighter and angrier the closer it gets. “How do you want to do this?”

Well? What do you do?

“By not letting it get close to Arctus!” you reply, flaring your Berserker God aura as you explode up into the air. Meloka follows behind, not taking point from you. As you charge up, the blazing red light descends, orienting itself on you and adjusting its approach slightly. And as that blazing red energy drops closer, you can FEEL that anger you'd felt in your mind radiating out from it. Like a descending meteor of anger and hate.

“What the hell? I can FEEL it's anger.” Meloka says, a hint of worry in her tone as you both fly up. “What IS that?”
“I don't know. But I'm not letting it get close!” you reply, charging forward. Drawing your right back as the crimson glow draws nearer, and you see that within the blinding light approaching is the figure of a person. A humanoid-shaped being descending down, charging right for you.
“I'll back you up.” your wife replies, peeling off. Dashing to the side, perhaps to see if the target will change focus to her. But it stays locked on you, and as it closes in on you, you recognize it. It's description fits the alien species Tatsu and Tomi had told you about after one of their missions, but none of them were exceptionally powerful. A purple skinned cyclopian biped, with clawed fingers and a bald, smooth head.

However, you then see the emblem blazing on its chest, and the source of the glow clenched in its right fist, and understanding dawns. Just like that other guy you fought for your Daughter, this thing has one of those power rings too. Except this one's red instead of yellow, and as they draw close, you can feel the heat emanating from him. Drawing your right fist back as you close in, only for the being to thrust his right hand forward early. And unleash a beam of crimson light directly at you! And you can't dodge, because Arctus' factory is down below, so instead you throw your arms wide and release your energy.

“BARRIER!” you shout, forming a shimmering bubble of emerald energy. The energy striking your shield and sliding off, unable to find a weakness or place to latch on. However, it isn't raw energy that strikes you. The blast is almost liquid, and as it slides off your shield, a horrific realization dawns. That isn't energy it is shooting at you, but energized BLOOD! “What the hell?”
“GRRREEAAAAAA!!” the creature snarls, ending the attack and charging down itself. Ending your Barrier you charge up to meet it head-on, fists clashing. The creature's ring slams into your fist, and you can feel it digging in. But although you stop it's first strike, the being doesn't slow down. Going on the attack like a rabid animal.

“DIE! DIE! DIE DIE! DIE!” the being snarls in rage, swinging their fists wildly and with no technique. However, the rage from that ring empowering them, each strike is still a serious threat. So, as he swings you go on the defensive, weaving through his attacks with ease. Bobbing and weaving, you slip around his every strike Dodging over a dozen strikes before going on the offensive, deflecting a wild right with your left forearm as you close the distance and land a powerful right body uppercut to the being's guts.

But the moment you do, you get a flash of Foresight. And in the vision you see it puking blood from your attack, blood so hot and corrosive it'll start melting your arm. And then the vision ends, the being groaning as he doubles over your fist. And you immediately pull back, twisting and kicking him in the head with a left turning kick. Sending him flying, puking that molten blood in the air well away from Arctus' factory before they crash down into the same rocky plains you'd ended the fight with Cumber at.

“Karn? What was that?” your wife asks, immediately worried. “You looked panicked for a second.”
“Don't let it's blood hit you, it burns.” you tell her, and the two of you fly over to where you'd downed the being as it stands back up. And, sure enough, where it landed is a puddle of molten blood, slowly eating away at the bottom of the crater your kick had made with his body.

“Hrmph!” you exhale, remaking your Energy Body before charging back in. The being roars as he kicks up off the ground, charging right at you. His bloody energy gathering around his right fist as he swings, you meeting his armored fist with your own. Where his energy explodes in a blast of molten blood, coating your Energy Body in that essence. Where you can feel it burning against your energy, yet your ki armor holds. The burning blood seemingly doesn't affect the ring bearer, who follows up their right with a wild left. But you twist counterclockwise, slipping to the outside and dodging the wild haymaker. Swinging your own right in a hook to the being's jaw, snapping their head to the side. Only to immediately follow by reversing your spin, twisting into a left uppercut to his jaw, launching him into the air. Continuing the spin, you finish the quick combination off with a spinning back right kick. Your heel catching him in the guts, sending him flying back. Smashing into a rocky pillar, collapsing it down atop him.

“Stay ready, hun!” you shout to Meloka, dashing down after the red energy-clad warrior, who with a roar explodes with more of his fiery red energy. Melting away the rock around him, blasting up out of the rubble back after you. Using its energy from the ring to grab the half-melted rock around him and launch it all at you. Catching you by surprise as you come in, stopping your charge and bringing your arms up to block. Only for it to engulf you, using the energy from the ring to wrap that molten, burning rock around you, trying to crush and burn you to death.

“KARN!” you hear Meloka shout, then a moment later the energy holding the molten rock to you fades, the burning rock sluicing off your Energy Body as you see your wife's gone on the attack. Having Copied your Energy Body as she rushes in, azure energy glowing as she unleashes a Su Ma combination, hitting him from all sides. You then dash in as well, knowing your wife's combinations find your opening. And as she flips around him to land a spinning left elbow to the back of his head, you dash in. Landing a flying kick square to his guts simultaneously. Causing the creature to spit up molten blood again, all over your leg. Your Energy Body shielding you from the worst of the heat, pulling back and swinging your leg to sling the burning blood off of you as your wife backs off.

“Come on, is that all you've got?” you ask, taunting the creature as he looks between you and Meloka. And your taunt works, the being IMMEDIATELY turning its full focus on you. Dashing directly at you, the energy from that ring coalescing its energy-charged blood into a technique similar to your own Piercing Fist. Swinging the energy-charged right fist at your jaw, forcing you to dodge. Leaning back and twisting clockwise, dodging the wild, over-extended strike. Then, as his charged fist sails past you reverse, slamming your right knee into his sternum. But you're not done there, following it up with a right elbow to the back of the head as your first strike doubled him over. Hitting him so hard his energy construct wavers, then simply vanishes entirely. And you take that as your opening to go fully on the offensive. “I'm ending this. Now!”

And you go on a full assault, flipping around and over into a left knee to the back of the fighter's head followed by a double hammer fist to the spine. Rocketing the red energy wielder down to the ground, but before he can reach the ground you Instant Transmission there in the instant before he would crash down. Kicking off the ground and landing a flying knee to his face as he falls, right in his singular, massive eye. Feeling it pop from the force of your blow, flipping the creature back as he screams in pain. A high-pitched, animalistic howl of pain as he falls back onto his back, both hands clutching at his ruined eye as he rolls back and forth of the ground in pain. And as you stand there over him, you start to think this fight's over. Which just leaves one question:

What do you do now?
>Stomp his head in, don't give him a chance to recover
>Pin him down and take that ring off him, see if you can get answers from him once he no longer has his source of power charging him up
>Ask Meloka to blast him, then grab the squirming attacker and throw him into the sky to reduce collateral damage

After a split-second's consideration, you decide you're going to get answers. So, without hesitation you straddle the smaller being, pinning its hips under your left shin, their left arm under your right shin as you grab his right wrist with your left hand. Pulling his hand up, and grabbing his ring with your right hand. And the moment you grab onto it, he stops thrashing. Instead, he immediately vomits more molten blood at you, curling his fist. But you ignore the heat, your Energy Body shielding you from the worst of it as you pry his hand open. Breaking his finger backwards so he can't use it, the creature crying out in pain. And in that moment of distraction, you pull the ring free of his hand. And the instant you do, two things happen.

First, you feel the being's powerlevel drop, gasping and clutching their chest. However, more importantly to you, that ring suddenly MOVES. Before you're prepared it spins in your hand, expanding and slamming onto your middle finger. And its rage floods your being once more. You can feel it, the hate, the heat surging from that ring into your body. And your Berserker Soul blazes in response, red and green conflicting within you. Somewhere, faintly, you can hear your wife shouting something. But you can't hear it over the clashing energies battling for dominance within you.

“GRRRRYAAAAAA!” you roar, body thrashing as the energy floods into your body from that ring on your finger. Feeling it flood into you, as you try and push back against it. The fires of your Berserker Soul's fury push back against it, but the angrier your Berserker Soul gets, the more powerful the energy coursing into you feels as well. No matter how furious you get, the blood red energy just keeps getting stronger and stronger. “GYAAAAAAH! KUUUUAAAAAH!”

“Karn, what's happening? Fight it hun, fight!” you hear your wife distantly, her voice barely audible. But no matter how furious you get, how hot the fires of your anger burn, the bloody energy burns even hotter back. And no matter how furious you get, you can't overpower that anger. But that's when it hits you: the ring IS anger. That red energy IS fury incarnate. As you realize this, another realization hits: you're not going to beat anger with anger. You need MORE.

Closing your eyes against the pain, gritting your teeth, you force yourself to take a slow, deep, calming breath against the pain of the crimson energy surging through you. Digging deep, past the white-hot fury of the Berserker Soul to its core. Tapping once more into an older energy, the icy core of the Berserker Soul's strength. Your surging rage changing from white-hot anger to an icy chill as you ascend to your Supreme Instinct form. And now, like this, you can push back.

“No.” you say aloud, opening your eyes and looking at your arm. Red veins of energy pulse from the ring around your finger down your arm, up past your shoulder as it's reached your shoulder. Nearly reaching halfway across your chest, stopped just short of your heart. And as you focus, channeling that icy power through your body once more. Feeling that energized blood freezing as you draw upon Lifehunt once more, the icy chill freezing that energy. Its rage can't find purchase against your frigid power, and as the glow fades from the tendrils of its power up your body, you feel the ring suddenly try and LEAVE your finger, to fly away and find another host.

But what do you do?
>Clench your fist, don't let it escape. Make sure your icy power destroys that ring here and now
>Let it go and power back down, you can't afford to spend any more time than absolutely necessary in that form today

For a moment you consider clenching your fist, not letting it go. Destroying that ring with your Lifehunt, just as you had done that entity. However, the image Towa showed you in her lab flashes through your mind, the Time Patroller Goku you'd fought getting defeated by Granolah. And so instead of fighting it, instead of keeping the ring and fighting it, you let it go. The glowing red ring rockets off your finger, blasting off into the sky, and into the upper atmosphere in less than two seconds. And in another two, it's gone from sight completely, glow and all. Heading off to who knows where, but as long as it isn't fighting you, you're okay with it today.

“Phew.” you say with a sigh, powering back down completely out of your Berserker form. Leaving you encased in a Berserker God-sized thin ice sculpture of yourself, which you shatter with a punch. The ice rains down around you, you stepping out of the frosty shower to Meloka. Who gestures to the man's hand, where the finger was. And you see something disturbing. The blood vessels in his hand are all opened, as if connected to the ring itself before you took it off. And pouring from the wound, as removing that ring left a wound behind, pours that same burning blood. The glow gone out from it, but the substance is still molten and caustic. And, as you watch, it begins to boil the body from the inside as well as seep out through the wound into the ground around it, hissing against the stone. “The hell? It's like a damn parasite.”

“Are you okay?” your wife asks, surging to her feet and grabbing your right hand. Where, while holes have been poked in your middle finger, the damage is nowhere close to as severe as it was to that man. And that energized blood continues to burn, making you wince. So, with a thought you change your breathing, using that special Hamon technique you were taught to slowly expel that foreign blood from you. And, within a minute, you're clear. You cannot feel any more burning, and the shards of ice from using Lifehunt have been expelled as well. Leaving the wounds only dribbling blood.
“I'm okay, now.” you reply with a sigh, stomach growling audibly, cramping painfully. “Tch. Okay, maybe not ENTIRELY okay.”

To which your wife can't help but laugh, shaking her head as she raises her right hand to her forehead, left grabbing your wrist. Clearly intending to teleport you back home, so you reach out to Arctus quickly first.

“It's over, we handled it. Another ring user like the one Meloka and I fought at Dreadzone attacked. Except this ring was red, and full of anger.” you tell Arctus with a thought as you leave his world behind. Reappearing inside Silver's kitchen on board your ship.
“Thank you, Karn. Before you leave your home tomorrow to go fight, reach out to me telepathically and I'll give you everything I've got.” Arctus replies, you both thinking your goodbyes.

“Meloka, Karn. Well, what took you so-?” Silver starts to ask, your stomach audibly growling again cutting him off. To which he chuckles, shaking his head. “Figured you'd be starving when you came back to us. Prepared something special.”
“Special?” you ask him, raising a brow. To which he turns and gestures to three of his people, who go back into a doorway you don't remember being in the kitchen. A moment later emerging with something familiar. “Wait, is that?”
“Yeah. Saved a couple of 'em from back when you'd hunt these Abyssal monsters.” Silver says as his assistants carry out the prepared Mindslayer tail, it taking all three of them to carry the massive platter it's on. “Thanks to yer youngest gal, for makin' that room where time stands still and food stays as fresh as the moment it was put inside it. Now, go on. Eat yer fill, General.”

“Thank you, Silver.” you tell him with a nod, reaching down and taking the massive platter yourself. Thanking the three who got it as well, carrying it out and setting it on the table in your mess hall. And, as if on cue, the doors to the mess open, your children coming in as well. So, you and your family sit down and have a large, filling meal together. Broly even carrying Kori in, as she holds Karand'r and Chaya teleports in too. Every one of your kids present for this meal except for Chilli and his family, you relaxing and eating in peace. The taste, one that you haven't had in years fills you, the warmth of the cooked creature chasing away the last hints of cold inside your body. Everyone digging in voraciously, Karand'r even reaching out and grabbing a handful of the meat curiously. Looking at it before fitting his entire hand into his mouth, eyes going wide at the flavor and making pleased sounds.

With the meal finished, the meat stripped down to the bones, your children are talking amongst themselves as you sit there, relaxed. Watching them all with a small smile until Karn Jr turns and asks you.

“You got the fight tomorrow, right? The one you've been talkin' about. Are you ready?” he asks you, looking serious. And you can't help but feel a chill down your back. Knowing that the eve of battle is already upon you.

“I'm ready.” you reply to him confidently without a second's hesitation, reaching over and ruffling his golden hair. “I've been ready, kiddo.”
“I believe in you. I know you'll win.” he says simply, without hesitation or doubt. “You're the best, dad.”
“Yes, your father's the best.” Meloka says, leaning against your arm, closing her eyes with a smile. Snuggling up against you, sighing contentedly.

“The best, huh?” a familiar voice calls out, you immediately turning. And seeing none other than Freeza standing there, his energy completely hidden. And as you see him he stops suppressing his energy, grinning wider.
“Freeza? What are you doing here?” you ask him with a matching grin, the former emperor's smile widening.
“With your fight going on tomorrow, I figured it would be best to stop by, be here to watch over your home while you go off to battle. Just in case.” he says to you, then you see a familiar look in his eye as his grin turns wolfish. “And give you your final training, before you fight him tomorrow.”

“Oh? You want to go a round tonight?” you ask him, rising up from the table as well, cracking your knuckles and neck. “Well, one more bit of training before tomorrow's battle couldn't hurt.”
“That's the spirit.” he says, grinning wider. “Now that you're fed and ready, we'll begin.”

He then turns, heading back out the door. You follow as well, turning and thanking Silver before you all exit the mess hall. Letting Freeza lead you all outside, and there on the beach he turns, taking his usual wide-armed stance.

“Show me, Karn.” he says, clenching his fists. Arms curling up a bit as his power explodes, surging up into his Black form. “Show me you intend to win tomorrow! Don't hold back!”
“You want to see my best?” you reply, closing your eyes. Focusing one last time for today, drawing upon the depths of the Berserker Soul. Feeling yourself ascend, transforming into your strongest form once more. Opening your eyes, meeting his gaze. “Then fight me with everything you've got!”

Red anger versus green anger. That’s fascinating. It seems the ice cold wrath is too much for the red anger to handle. Now, after the ring left to find a new host, who could be an ideal person to latch onto? Perhaps Hulk? It could turn into something exceptionally angry if these two would find each other. Maybe it is better for us if they don’t meet.

Very nice energy suppression. It is awesome that he visited us.

Probably a lot.

I just remembered that Hulk in this timeline is also in a way powered by this green anger, like Karn, so maybe the red ring and Hulk would not be such a perfect match. Green vs red would clash again. Though green anger in Karn was fueling red anger in the ring, and Hulk cannot use Supreme Instinct and Lifehunt. Therefore it is plausible that red would overpower the green wrath in Hulk. What would happen if Hulk was taken over by red anger? Probably something bad.

Yes, the point of red lanterns is to consume others with mindless rage and make more red lanterns.
Foresight has saved Karn more times than anything, other than his instincts.

Yeah, letting the sentient cursed artifact fly away may not have been the smartest long-term play. But for someone with a power struggle against the 'strongest mortal in the universe' tomorrow, it's a good call.

Yes, Okira likes helping people.

True, but where could he go? He doesn't have Instant Transmission or another method of teleportation. And he already wished for absolute peak performance, not something someone who TRAINS does.
>>6472016

If one could cross the dimensional barrier, it could overpower him and make a far more terrifying Hulk. Considering the ring also boosts one's physical stats from not a challenge to Tatsu and Tomi to competing with Berserker God's strength, if he got one that universe would be in danger.

“Everything I've got, huh? You think you can handle that?” you ask with a smirk, taking your fighting stance. Freeza takes his own, the two of you staring one another down. Then, as one, you both move. Your body reacting to his on its own, without your conscious thought or decisions. Blurring forward, you block his turning right kick with your left forearm, Freeza catching your right fist with both his hands. He then twists, firing a left front kick up at your chin like an uppercut, forcing you to lean back to dodge the strike. Then stepping back, pivoting on your right heel counterclockwise to dodge his follow-up tail swipe as you fire off a right body hook. Which he blocks with his left forearm, deflecting your strike past him and using the momentum to spin into a an upside-down right straight at your core. You pull back, raising your right leg and catching his fist on your knee as you swing a left hammerfist down. Only for Freeza to kick up at your fist with his left, his foot slamming into your hand and stopping the blow short.

That final collision of that exchange happens, that entire opening salvo having only lasted half a second as the last impact unleashes a shock wave that blasts you both back from one another. And having both been rising trying to take the dominant aerial position, you both are sent back a dozen yards away from each other, tumbling through the air and reorienting on one another.

“Hmph. Not bad.” Freeza says, taking his wide-armed stance with a smirk.” But surely you can do better?”
“Heh, funny. I was about to ask you the same thing.” you reply, retaking your fighting stance as the two of you stare one another down. Your children's cheers come from below, encouraging you both to do your best. “Ready to kick this up a notch?”
“Oh please, after you. I insist.” Freeza says, grin widening. Which leaves only one question:

How do you proceed?
>Rush in and attack, try and set the pace and keep him defensive by switching between styles
>Activate your Energy Body and gesture for him to come at you, see what he's got
>Activate your Lightning Body and charge in, see how he handles facing you when he can't so much as touch you without taking damage

“Oh yeah?” you reply, clenching your fists and crossing your arms, aura blazing before you coalesce it. Drawing in and condensing it, forming your Energy Body then charging forward. “Let's see how you handle this!”
“Really? Such a tired trick.” Freeza says, seemingly disappointed. However, as you close in, you then focus. Releasing your rage and anger, drawing it out and channeling it through your fingertips into your dark side lightning as you swing your right fist. Freeza's eyes widen in shock, realizing what's about to happen an instant before your your fist connects. And your fist slams into his left arm, the electricity surging from arcing across your armor into him. Shocking him stiff as the electricity courses through his body, leaving him wide-open. “Khh?!”

“Gotcha!” you reply, following up your right with a left shovel hook to his jaw, then a right hook to his exposed left ribs. Each hit shocking him, causing his body to spasm from the energy coursing through his muscles. Despite his power, he can't get his body to cooperate. Your electricity coursing through his body causing his muscles to contract and spasm, keeping him from fighting back effectively. Giving you the opening to land over a dozen unanswered blows, your fists landing unanswered until he roars.
“SHYAAAAA!” Freeza bellows, firing off an Explosive Wave. The blast of energy knocks you back, making space between you. “Haaah. Heh. Well now, that's a hell of a technique you've picked up. Hrmmph!”

And with that grunt he activates his own Energy Body, to shield himself from your lightning as he charges in. You block his heavy right with your crossed arms, your electricity arcing across your Energy Body to his own. But, just like with your own shielding ki, his protects him from it as well.

“A clever technique. But, unfortunately for you, your own technique is the counter to it.” he says, grinning. Pulling back, retaking his stance. “Don't tell me that's all you've got.”
“All? Hardly.” you reply, ending the lightning now as it's useless. However, you don't drop your Energy Body or close the openings in your guard at your fingertips, retaking your stance. “We're just getting started.”

And as one, you both move again. Your body reacting to his charge on its own, the two of you battling it out as you had daily not too long ago, spending that year together in the Time Chamber as you learned to wield your Supreme Instinct power. You and Freeza meet one another blow for blow, until he ducks under a left straight. And as you watch, he goes for the same sort of pressure point technique you'd seen Granolah use against Goku. Your eyes widen, his fingertips slamming into your shielding energy. And your Energy Body protects you, shielding you from taking that same attack.

“Well now, looks like your defenses are a solid as ever.” Freeza says as you both stop a moment. And you realize Freeza has been learning how to fight the same way the Cerelean will!
“You-? How did you learn to fight like Granolah?” you ask him, Freeza's brows rising in confusion.
“Granolah? No, I've simply been paying attention to how Whis stops me, and how he stops Lord Beerus when the destroyer rampages in fury.” Freeza replies, expression turning thoughtful a moment. “But, if tomorrow's foe specializes in the same sort of attacks, then let's see how well your defenses measure up!”

And before you can reply he surges in, launching a barrage of attacks. The flurry keeping your arms occupied as he kicks it up a notch, using his full power. And for every dozen blows he fires off, you take one or two. Yet, even with his precise shots to several places that would be debilitating like your throat, temple, solar plexus, and other pressure points, your Energy Body shields you from the damage of each of them. And after nearly a minute of him attacking you, the former emperor leaps back, grinning.

“Well well. Seems you've already built yourself a counter to your foe, before you even knew you would be facing him.” Freeza says with a chuckle, retaking his stance. “So, are you ready to continue?”

I've noticed Karn almost never throws out energy attacks while in Supreme Instinct. I know they aren't ingrained in him like his hand-to-hand techniques, but considering how effective Karn's signature projectiles are, it might be worth rectifying that to a degree.

“Ready?” you reply, grinning. And, to Freeza's visible confusion drop your Energy Body. And immediately throw your right hand forward, firing a quick wave of energy. Unleashing your ki in a cone-shaped wave, engulfing him completely. Your attack not designed to hurt him, but to push him back away from you and build distance. Your attack does that, pushing him away from you as you gather your ki in your other hand. And the moment you end the wave, you toss your left forward. Firing off a Scattershot, the one orb of ki splitting into scores of smaller ones. Rocketing through the air towards him, Freeza having only just lowered his guard from the blast that knocked him back. And he's forced to raise his guard again, a dozen or so of your blasts slamming into him. But as they hit him, you clench your fist, stopping the other blasts from flying further away from him. And instead redirecting them all at him, borrowing the control of your Hellzone Grenade to attack him from all sides. Before the smoke's even cleared from around him, your Scattershot hits him from the other sides simultaneously. “I've been ready!”

As your redirected Scattershot blasts against him, you draw your right hand back. Gathering your energy and forming your large Energy Javelin, tossing it at him just as he sweeps his right arm, blowing away the smoke. Your Javelin splits, the Scatter Javelin filling the air with nearly a hundred piercing lances flying at him.

“Tch!” Freeza exclaims, raising a hand. A noticeable red glow appears around his fist, that same glow appearing around a dozen or so of the Javelins. Sending them into the others, causing a massive wall of detonations. Consuming all the attacks together, Freeza then blitzing towards you through the smoke cloud. Before you can gather your energy for another attack, your body reacts. Weaving past his right fist, spinning clockwise and gathering your ki in both hands. Spinning around him and pressing that energy gathered in your left to his back, blasting him even further away. “Khhhh! You little-!”
“HAAAAAAAAA!” you roar, thrusting your right hand forward and unleashing a massive torrent of ki. Your energy slamming into him, blasting him back away from you even further. Ending the attack as he manages to roll off the end of the blast, gathering more of your energy into both hands.
“So, you want to fight at range then? Very well, I accept your challenge! SHYAAAA!” Freeza shouts, firing five parallel Death Slashes from his right hand towards you. Dashing up to avoid them, however, the blades of concentrated energy TURN, following you! He made the slashing blades homing, as if they weren't dangerous enough!

“Oh?” you say, raising a brow. And seeing what he's done, you decide to try and copy him this time. Focusing the ki in your left hand, you fire your own quintet of Death Slashes at his own, then you do the same with your right. But when you fire these, you lock them onto Freeza's ki, launching them at him as well. “HAAA!”

He sees your attacks coming, trying to dodge them as well, only to see them follow him as well. And you can almost FEEL his smirk as he grabs them with his telekinesis, crushing them.

-Guided Death Slash Learned-

His momentary distraction allows you to gather your own power again, firing your Guided Eye Beams at Freeza. And as he turns his attention back to you, you see his eyes widen. Then, with a moment's effort fire his own Eye Beams back, your energies slamming into one another's. Putting you and Freeza in a direct contest of power, his Black form's might pitted against your Supreme Instinct. And even still, Freeza's strongest form is stronger than your own in terms of raw power. His might pressing your attack back, Freeza's Eye Beams slowly then quickly forcing your own back towards you. Forcing you to end the attack, flipping backwards and dodging his beams aimed at your eyes narrowly.

“Tch!” you exhale as you avoid his piercing rays, flipping backward away from it once before reorienting on the former emperor as he ends the attack. “Heh. Not bad. What do you say, one last blast?”
“One final shot?” he asks, smirking back at you as he raises one finger overhead. “Bring it on.”

“HAAAAAA!” you roar, throwing your arms wide and gathering your ki in both hands. Freeza begins charging his own, forming a massive orb overhead as you swing your hands forward. Wrists crashing together, golden energy crackling with such power it generates bolts of lightning that leap from the gathering energy. But Freeza's attack isn't like yours, as you watch its size keeps fluctuating slightly as he charges more and more into it. Not like his Supernova, the giant, massive orb. But this one, the dark orb crackling with violet lightning, isn't growing larger as he pours more and more energy into it. Making it a hyper-dense orb of power instead, launching it at you as you fire off your attack back at him. “FINAAL! FLAAAASH!!”

Always awesome to see Karn and Freeza duke it out.
>Do you think Towa can get the Dragon Balls and fulfill the wish, or will someone else beat her to them?
There is a short list of people that could get the drop on Towa. I don't think any of the players we're aware of are on that list.
>And are you ready to finally get to the battle you've been preparing almost all arc for?
A truly mighty Saiyan warrior like Karn eats a bowl of nails for breakfast every morning. Without any milk. A bowl of Quaker's Oats ain't so tough.
>>

I'm sure Towa will have her hands full scooping up the Dragon Balls, but she quite literally spent years doing this sort of behind-the-scenes shit, so I'm confident she can get it done. After all, it's not like Goku or some absurdly strong Time Patroller are gonna barge and ruin her plans...right?
Anyways, I'm excited to see we haven't fallen behind Frieza despite his prodigious growth under Whis. Here's hoping we don't injure each other two badly before the day is done.

Indeed. Some of the best fights.
A few. You know one, who's nearly gotten the drop on you at least once. But it's hardly a fair comparison, as they've never snuck up on you wearing their own face.

True. I mean, it's only a pair of Dragon Balls. And it's not like someone with scrying necessarily needs the radar in the first place. As we saw in OG Dragon Ball, they are scry-able. Freeza's not trying to hurt you, he knows what you're up against. Just making sure after your week that you're ready for the conflict, that you haven't been slacking in your training.

>the plan was to one, make Baby immortal. And two, to create an exact copy of Baby within Granolah. So that if the one failed, years later the second would be ready to return and seek revenge.” Arctus says
Baby left a “cell” or something or a nanobot… I’m not sure how to properly name it, inside every person that was infected and under his control. Tuffle parasite is now dead. It was said that these leftovers “cells” that remained in the infected people would also die and destroy themselves over time on their own after King Kudamo’s death.

I’m not sure if I remember this right, but Towa did cleanse some people of Baby’s nanobots. Not all of them of course, as Baby’s infection took over at least 1 entire planet. Honestly I don’t know the exact numbers, but it gave the impression that he had a huge number of beings under his control. After Baby’s death there was no need to extra cleanse all those lifeforms in Universe 7, as those nanobots would “die” anyway. If enough time has passed.

The question is are those “nanobots” already destroyed or are they still there? Inside every person that was under Baby’s control. Inactive, dormant but ready to be reactivated again if Baby’s signal were to reach them once more.

It seemed to be impossible, but now we know that Baby could have made a copy of himself thanks to Cerealian Dragon Balls. If this duplicate created by Toronbo, the wish Granting Dragon, will awake, since he is identical, those nanobots will recognize Baby2 as their master. He should be able to remotely take control over all those people were infected by his predecessor.

Perhaps Baby2 is already awake inside Granolah, but he did not reveal himself. If I remember right, Baby had a “psychic” link between people that were under his control. Therefore it is safe to assume that Baby2 will learn about everything that happened recently through infected beings that serve him. He will be aware of how Chaya killed him, about Tournament of Power, maybe he will even expect Karn’s Lifehunt.

When Karn said this, he was doing something that also Crossbreed Priscilla did. He was using power of Lifehunt. It brought back those words as if it as a long lost memory.

I’m not sure about this, but if next time Karn would form a weapon from Lifehunt’s ice in the shape of the scythe, he would be then using the “same” weapon as Priscilla did. Maybe doing so could trigger more “memories” of hers to return to him. Why it could be helpful? Because Pricilla probably knew a lot about Lifehunt. Within her memories could be secrets about how to use this power better and maybe in a safer way.

However from an in character perspective, Karn probably has no reason to make Lifehunt ice into the shape of a scythe, so this is not likely to happen.

>Though perhaps shape of the weapon made from Lifuhunt’s ice matters also because of the different reason.
I had a thought, what if we infused our Energy Javelins with Lifehunt?
Channeling it then immediately tossing the Lifehunt Javelins should keep the worst of the short term effects down. The penetrative power of our Energy Javelins should pair VERY nicely with the draining effect of Lifehunt as well. I can also see a hypothetical Scatter Javelin variant being especially deadly, especially against large targets. You could just pepper them with Scatter Javelins and watch as they get frozen from the inside out.
Hell, it would would probably make them better at detonating, or outright nullifying, energy attacks while they're still being charged as well.
Honestly, we should be using Energy Javelins way more just because of that last part. Imagine how much more annoying we'd be to energy attack specialists or people who like to spend several moments charging up obscenely powerful attacks if we did.

QM UPDATE

Sorry everyone for the late notice, but the next episode won't start this weekend. No family event or anything, just honestly not feeling great. Been feeling downright exhausted all week, taking the weekend to try and rest and recover so I'm back and ready to go next week.

>>6472740
Very.
Yes, they are. As for why, well... Considering what had JUST happened to your universe the day before, perhaps the two events aren't unrelated...?
Very interesting indeed.
Asking the electromagnetic spectrum wavelength of raw FURY to not try for a getback is hilarious. Like asking Karn to NOT murder someone for coming after his family.
Unless you got something powerful in your system, involuntary muscle contractions are hard to fight through.
No, because Hit has Time Skip to launch himself a tenth of a second FORWARD in time to hit you. So when he's hitting you, he has already moved before you could ever see him. That's why Hit's version is so deadly. Kind of like that one Prophet's Stand, False King, showing where he WAS but not where he is. Still one of the most cracked Stands I ever designed, in almost any other setting he'd be basically unstoppable.
Even Freeza wasn't ready. But that's because the trick works better against those who know you and how you prefer to fight. Like watching tape on a fighter for months, then fight day they're fighting Southpaw instead.
Ha, no. He's killed people for that.
>>6472741
Yes.
Glad you're enjoying.
Yes he is, his only weakness compared to you is his limited time and still having to think before he moves.
>spoiler
Glad you remember that important bit of info. And because you remember, Karn will too.
>I don’t remember anyone getting cancer from them
True. But how many DECADES did it take Lex holding unshielded Kryptonite on his person before it gave him cancer? As for the positive effect, possibly.
>>6473455
>The question is are those “nanobots” already destroyed or are they still there? Inside every person that was under Baby’s control. Inactive, dormant but ready to be reactivated again if Baby’s signal were to reach them once more.
That's the question, now isn't it? How much has this new threat seen, if it exists? The bigger question is would Baby's arrogance, after obtaining IMMORTALITY, make him pause his vengeance to make extra safeguards for his revenge? Or would being immortal make him arrogant and careless?
>>6473461
>Though perhaps shape of the weapon made from Lifuhunt’s ice matters also because of the different reason.
NOW you're thinking. But, considering Karn is in Supreme Instinct when using Lifehunt, would the instinct remember the shape of the weapon?
>>6473468
You could potentially learn to infuse that power into your Ki. Or just shape the freezing power itself and hurl it at someone raw.
>Hell, it would would probably make them better at detonating, or outright nullifying, energy attacks
There's someone you know throws nullifying crystals at attacks...

>You could potentially learn to infuse that power into your Ki. Or just shape the freezing power itself and hurl it at someone raw.
I was struggling to find the right words for it, but yeah I did mean just making Lifehunt Ice Javelins (still working on the name) and throwing them at people.
>There's someone you know throws nullifying crystals at attacks...
After our business with Granolah is settled and we dispel the i̷̠̝̝͍̥͔̋̓͂̿̿̈́̈́̒n̶̢͕̰̬͔͓̼̠̥̙͆̎̏̂͛̂ͅf̸̼̗͍̰̈́̊͑̓͐̀̆̈́̃̍͒͑̌̌͘͘͜l̴̡̘͍̹̠̗̼̹̹̮͉̬͇͙̓̍̉̈̀͜ͅū̸̗͉͕̞͐̃̆̃̊̈́͛͌͐̔͆̊́͘ė̵͔̯͍̦̟͕̺̹̐͊͊͂̈̉̇̒͗͒̌͐͝ņ̵̦̭͖͕̬̹͍͓̮̽̈̋̿̏̆͑̄̊̑͂͌͒̍̂̚ͅc̸̗̙̦̝͌͑̄͝ȅ̷̺̙̀̾͛̃͋͊̿͒̐͗ spreading on New Salda, talking shop with Chilli might not be such a bad idea.
Might be hard to really make something of it while we're busy training up the Jiralhanae the month after, but maybe we could find the time to meet up regularly and figure out this power. Sidenote; it's a bit unnerving how much Lifehunt reminds me of Chilli at various points in his life. I wonder if there isn't something out there pushing certain traits and patterns onto us both.

Energy Javelins ought to be having more spotlight, true. It's just that they're insanely fucking lethal and we haven't had that many opportunities to stop and think about using those on things we *want* to have murdered.

>Yes, they are. As for why, well... Considering what had JUST happened to your universe the day before, perhaps the two events aren't unrelated...?
Are you suggesting that Red Ring, that spreads like a virus, is somehow linked to the appearance of the beast from outside of reality? Monster from beyond was vanquished, but it left madness and distortion that grows on its own. Would this mean that presence of those things, that should not be in our reality, drove the Red Ring into frenzy and somehow pointed it like a gun towards Karn and Meloka? What an unexpected link.
>Asking the electromagnetic spectrum wavelength of raw FURY to not try for a getback is hilarious. Like asking Karn to NOT murder someone for coming after his family.
I guess we can’t ask a Red Ring user to calm down.
>Even Freeza wasn't ready. But that's because the trick works better against those who know you and how you prefer to fight. Like watching tape on a fighter for months, then fight day they're fighting Southpaw instead.
It was interesting to bring such a surprise to this sparring match.
>Glad you remember that important bit of info. And because you remember, Karn will too.
Awesome.
>The bigger question is would Baby's arrogance, after obtaining IMMORTALITY, make him pause his vengeance to make extra safeguards for his revenge? Or would being immortal make him arrogant and careless?
Indeed. That’s an important question for a villain like Baby. Is he more hateful or more prideful? Was he so proud, that he believed himself to be invincible? In that case he would not need a copy of himself, because there is no possibility of his defeat. Or did he hate us so much that he made sure his vengeance would reach us, even if he died? In that case, he would make a duplicate (or duplicates).

>NOW you're thinking. But, considering Karn is in Supreme Instinct when using Lifehunt, would the instinct remember the shape of the weapon?
When Karn is in Supreme Instinct, he uses his own abilities in the best way he can. In this state, when he wants to attack with a melee weapon made of his own energy, he would most likely conjure a blade of Ki. That is because it is very natural to him to fight with this type of weapon. He is used to it.
>would the instinct remember the shape of the weapon?
What you say about Karn in Supreme Instinct with Lifehunt seems to suggest, that in this state he is also capable of using abilities, skills and knowledge of previous the Lifehunt user.

If Karn with this deadly cold power active, would instinctually conjure a weapon in the shape of a scythe, it would mean, that it is natural to him to fight with this type of weapon. Even though he has not really done it before. That could only be possible if Lifehunt somehow granted him the proficiency and experience of the previous Lifehunt wielder.

This is some incredible possibility. Mind blowing honestly. Karn may not be aware of this yet, but it may be there. If he finds himself doing something he never could do before, then we will have a confirmation.

This is getting into crazy territory. If he would unexpectedly use an ability that is normally unavailable to him, it would be a proof. Crossbreed Priscilla’s invisibility is something that Karn theoretically should not know how to use.

I'm very curious what Chilli would say about Lifehunt. He is was a reaper, so he knows a lot about Death.

True. After the Covenant War, they have fallen out of fashion. By virtue of being slower than Death/Eye Beams, but also costing a lot more energy and being easier to dodge.
>>6473798
The appearance of? No, the rings have been around quite a while. As for driving someone mad, of all beings, Red Lanterns are certainly NOT the most mentally-stable beings. Especially considering the ring REPLACES their hearts, and they vomit out all their natural blood as they take up the power.
Always fun to write Freeza fights, their evolution has been fun to do over time.
True. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
>>6473802
Not the BEST way, strictly logically speaking. But the way that is most natural to Karn, when his thoughts aren't countedicting them.
Remember, Supreme Instinct is inextricably tied to the Berserker Soul and its ancient source of anti-divine power. The deeper you dive into the Lifehunt, the more of it is brought to the surface.
>spoiler
So, that's actually not a technique related to that soul itself, but to the light-wielding sorcerers of Oolacile. Who discovered secrets of Light that even the gods hadn't yet, including the connection between Light and Time.
>>6473803
So, he would be able to understand the difference between Death, a biological process, and Lifehunt, the complete extinguishing of both life and the soul.
>>6473810
Well now. Not gonna lie, opening goes hard.
>>6473841
Seeing the composer for the series, after how hard he went for the ToP, I say giving him a second chance at that arc with PROPER time to write songs, he'll drop fire. A U6 tournament with proper osts instead of the reused, ill-fitting Kai tracks will go hard. Especially Vegeta vs Magetta, of all the pre-Black arc fights, that one needs better music the most.
>>
>>6473810
I'll give it a few months to get as catchy as the 2015 Super openings.
Damn, Dragon Ball Super is over a decade old now. What the fuck.

Cha-La Head-Cha-La will appear somewhere there in Beerus anime. It is so good it has to.

Oh. I thought we will put out the fire before it begins to spread. Though it seems it will merely make one place safe, while wild fires are appearing in multiple unknown locations.
>Red Lanterns are certainly NOT the most mentally-stable beings.
True. Of course. I just wonder if presence of the being not from this reality helped in Karn and Meloka becoming the target of the red ring.
>Remember, Supreme Instinct is inextricably tied to the Berserker Soul and its ancient source of anti-divine power. The deeper you dive into the Lifehunt, the more of it is brought to the surface.
Fascinating. It certainly will be interesting to see what it will bring.

I know it probably cannot be answered, as it would be a spoiler, but sometimes when Karn utilizes certain powers or is in certain state or transformation, it also affects the Divine Dragon Force.

I very curious what will be Karn’s Stand’s reaction to Supreme Instinct, and even more how will the dragon act when summoned while the Lifehunt is active.

But I guess we will have to wait for Divine Dragon Force to wake up first.
>So, that's actually not a technique related to that soul itself, but to the light-wielding sorcerers of Oolacile. Who discovered secrets of Light that even the gods hadn't yet, including the connection between Light and Time.
Thanks for this information. That’s very interesting too.
>Well now. Not gonna lie, opening goes hard.
It made me very excited. Today in preparation for the upcoming Dragon Ball Beerus I watched 12 episodes of Daima. Soon I will watch all of it. Very interesting adventure. How unusual it is to see Nahare taking active part in the adventure.
