They always just kinda expect (You) to lead the conversation, because that is what they are used to. Even recently I was at a party with a guy who everyone swore was gorgeous (he was okay) and when I spoke to him, he basically just let me lead and followed my social cues. He was more like a human soundboard. He did this for everyone, just laughing and super dry, noncommittal responses. I have been on dates with gorgeous women who did the exact same thing: passively expecting you to entertain them. They are also used to NEVER being challenged when they do actually contribute something, because nobody wants to get on the bad side of the "hot" person in a group.This isn't to say I am the most interesting and funny man alive, but really attractive people tend to be (understandably) entitled to your efforts.
