Share a story with anons about how you have been improving yourselves! I've been delaying my first cup of coffee to about 10am to allow my cortisol levels to peak and clear out sleep-inducing adenosine.
>be me>obsessed with tcc (basically community that swoons over mass shooters)>girl i really like basically tells me to piss off, starts dating my friend and im left heartbroken. a majority of her issue with me came with my edginess and humour from the tcc>decide to leave the tcc and become a better person>do exactly that; leave my tcc friends and all other related platforms, stop reading about violence, etci already feel so much better mentally and i believe i've started to become sensible; last december with the shooting at bondi beach i was intrigued, now with the recent san diego mosque shooting i felt disappointed in the perpetrators as well feeling a little bit disgusted. i think i am making great improvements on myself! although i don't think i will ever get that girl back (unless god somehow does a miracle), this is better for the long run.i've also been thinking of sharing my own experience and making a de-radicalization platform. it sounds retarded, but i'd like to help others.
>>84623452I've been dieting and already lost a few kg.
>>84623452fixing my life the past 6 months to get a dog its going good i will get one until the end of next month if i manage to find one
>>84623452i finally started going to the dentist again after 6 years of avoiding it, he was very understanding of my dental anxiety and made the experience as comfortable as possible
>>84623452I've been stagnating and rotting for the last several years but for the last month I made the decision to get at least one task done per day.Still feel pretty depressed, but slowly and surely I can see that I'm beginning to put things together. I have actual goals and my life is gradually improving. I'm still in a rut, but it's shallower than it was before and there actually feels like there's a chance for me to have some sense of happiness and fulfillment. It's the most optimistic I've felt in years.
>>84623452im plaaning my suicide
Recently started putting my life back on rails.Started exercising more, meditating everyday, keeping a consistent sleep schedule, reading, eating better food, etc.>>84623519That's great, anon. Hope everything goes well for you.

>>84623452I started going badminton club, it's 3 month already (jeez time is running fast!).I think my body adjusted to loads. Yesterday was pretty hard play session 85 hot here, no air conditioning. Opponents all of my level and higher, in the end everyone were sweating like pigs and catching air like fish taken out if water. I several times pulled out serve return block like that, pretty proud of myself.Barely dragged my feet back home. But today's morning? I don't feel like I had training yesterday. When I started next couple days my whole body ashed, so I had my schedule set 2 times a week. Now I feel I can go to court today no problem.
>saving 65% of my salary>workout 4 times a week almost consistently >keeping up with my diet and cooking most of what i eat>trying to code whenever i feel like i have enough energy after worki still feel completely lost and hopeless despite following an optimal routine i think
I've been going to work less (does wonders for my mental health), been drinking less, might start to exercise regularly again. Still feeling like a huge waste of oxygen, but I'm steadily running out of excuses as to why I haven't really done anything substantial with my life. Which is... a start, I suppose.
>>84623452Exercise, investing. Maintaining the body (not really looking for continuous gains), building the mind... and stuffing the wallet too. A journey that isn't just fast or slow but accelerating. I'm going to be more capable of helping others as well.
>>84623463i read tcc as bbc
I've been going to the gym consistently (5 days per week) for the past 2 months. My one rep max on squats is likely over 345 pounds and 235 pounds for bench press. My gf has done a great job of cooking high protein meals for me and I supplement with creatinine. I've also been improving at chess by playing online 3-4 times everyday. I'm usually very good in the opening phase but I need to work on my endgame skills.
>>84623711good work bud have a you
How do I move on from the past? I cannot accept that I became the version of myself that my past teen self would have laughed at.I am reading self improvement books and trying to fix my ruined sleep schedule, so I guess that is a start.
