>>84695567Cool, yeah a P bass is a good starting point. I prefer Jazz but that's just me. Sounds like you need to set it up, so truss rod, string height and bridge saddles etc - plenty of guides online for this. A bit of fret buzz isn't actually a bad thing, it can sound cool, but if its choking notes and not sustaining properly then you need a setup.

Ideally, you would want to be in a band, playing shows, smashing groupies. But you and I both know that's not happening. Ever. You'll waste your time, practicing songs, strumming the strings, but you will never get anywhere. You'll stay stuck in your basement, desperately posting bass covers to YouTube and tiktok. Getting 5 views per video, probably less. You'd get negative views if it were possible. Give up now. It's a waste of time, both me and you know this already.
