The brutal part is the physical punishment and sleep deprivation, especially during basic. You only really sleep every other night for the first few weeks. If someone fucks up you might, for example, march all night instead of sleeping, maybe for a couple of nights in a row.They took about 40% of the guys who applied at the same time as me. Be good at pull ups and running.
