2016 was a major turning point for this website as a whole. the election and brexit as well brought a huge influx of incel redditors and voat users, and it was already getting pretty bad with gamergate but at least that was slightly more niche and mostly contained to /v/. /pol/ becoming a board didn't help either even though that was supposed to be a containment board too. psyop posting immediately peaked and the userbase has mostly consisted of the most annoying pathetic guys possible since. I've been on this site since the 00s and it's just gotten progressively worse and worse with the brainwashed bullshit. I genuinely think the average /r9k/ user should die but I also stay here for the posters I can actually relate to.
