Shaved my face with a double edge safety razor. Not sure if it's doing anything.
>>84708423It depends what brand of razor it is, how it cuts, how long you've been using a safety razor. They cut closer to the skin and are cheaper in the long term over disposable razors. You need to cut with the grain at first and then cut against the grain for the smooth shave
do u see hair on ur face after u shave
Double edges suck ass and take twice as long to shave than modern razors because its easier to cut yourself with DEs so you have to do it slow. i got memed into buying one like a retard a long time ago because it was a fad. the razors are cheaper but youre trading money for time. i used it for about a year too before i said fuck this and went back to modern stuff
>>84708499>>84708440>>84708439>>84708423retarded ass fucking morons who couldn't even tie their own shoes.
>>84708506The fuck are you talking about stupid ass nigga? Safety razors require a little more care and attention than disposable razors. The pay off and trade off is worth it because you have a smoother shave with less nicks or irritation.
>>84708506the fuck did i say to you nigga i asked a question you fat fucking retard
>>84708525>Irritation I've only ever got that if the razor was super old and fucked up. I did see my cousin with a red fucked up face when he tried dry shaving "because shaving cream seems like a scam"
>>84708615Yeah this. Keep hydrating your face and use soap for the blade to slide smoothly That's why it's better to shave during shower
>>84708423I just switched to one a few weeks back, I use it to shave my head bald rather than shaving my face though, I did cut myself the first couple of times because I wasn't tightening the head down well enough or going slow enough, but now that I've gotten the hang of it I've learned to love it.I especially like that it's substantially cheaper than cartridge razors.
>>84708423At least you went away from the cartridge Jew. I've used Henson safety razor for years. It's all one needs.
>>84708525>Safety razors require a little more care and attention than disposable razors.Lol, lmao even. The only thing I've ever replaced on my Henson razor is the blade itself. I replace it with every shave (stainless stell Japanese blades are good like 2-3 shaves anyways). The razor itself doesn't require care. Rinsing it off is a piece of cake. Pre-shave all one does is take a shower, but other than that it's a million times easier than a disposable blade to use.
>>84708615Emphasis on soap SOAP. They sell some bullshit shaving soap that you're supposed to lather up with a brush and a mug (oh look you just bought 2 extra things) but that's for reddit dweebs who think shaving is a hobby (lmao). You really only need a gentle soap that doesn't dry out the skin...so the soap that you're already using to wash your face, and you can just work a lather with your hands in 5 seconds.
>>84709087I meant shaving with a safety razor requires a little more care and attention compared to a disposable razor only because you need to shave with the grain first and then against it for a clean shave. Shaving with a safety razor is better than shaving with a disposable razor but it only requires you to be a little more careful
You should notice how exceptionally smooth it is. Keep in mind not all razor housings are the same.I broke my original razor and got a new one, but this new one was shit at cutting even though I was using the same blades.
