How much does /r9k/ bench?

You do lift heavy pieces of iron in a repetitive motion, right?
>>
going to the gym tonight
I really don't worry about it at this point
2 pl8s is last I did
>>
Collectively of people posting right now? Probably less than a tonne

I was only able to lift the bar the first time I tried (with assistance)
I'm skinny and have no muscles
>>

180lbs for reps, which is my bodyweight. Not great but certainly not bad.

The bench i bought several years ago is literal garbage, and nobody will hire me so I cant afford a new one or gym membership
>>
>>84729142
I only ever bench 50lbs dumbbells because I workout in my room, the fact that I've managed to get noticeable muscle from it makes me think pushing that hard in the gym is a meme.

Working out is for city fags.

the real questions should be:
>what's your PB stones time
and
>what's your max deadlift
benching outside of powerlifting is okay i guess; as long as you can do a minimum of two plates as a thirteen stone man, you're fine.

Why is it that when males get their hearts broken it's always followed by them moving heavy objects up and down? It's like the badabing to badaboom (I did this too, not throwing shade).
>>

That's true. Out here we measure by how many sacks you can fill with cowshit.

Starting lifting with dumbbells less than two months ago. My bench press seems really weak for some reason, maybe due to my long arms. Today I did 2x40 for 13 reps, moving up it to 2x45 next session
>>

I reached 2pl8 7 reps at 165 lbs bw narrower grip than standard since that felt best for my shoulders.

Decided to stop at that since diminishing returns hit hard and the gym consumes a lot of time as is

Feels good to lift heavy
>>
I'm starting to workout the most I could lift was 1 plate and 35lbs, and my death lift was 275
>>
I'm weak, I bench 1 plate lmao. If I were more consistent I'd probably be doing better.
>>
50 lbs plus the bar I suppose? I don't really take it seriously, the gym is so full I just try to do something quick and get out of the way so people with actual plans can use the thing
