That's what Frieren is if you made every lotr character just one selfish naive brat instead of multiple interesting people who at least have thoughts and interactions with each other and the world while they're walking for a hundred pages straight. I don't even like comparing it to lotr because that's actually a good trilogy and not overrated. I just don't know how else to express how objectively bad Frieren is and it's dumbfounding it ever got popular when there's way better stuff like superman 64 out there.
