i'm 20 and thought i should work during the summer while i didn't have any classes. i graduated high school, have a license, and can drive a vehicle. i do not have a criminal record or anything.yet not even the shittiest places want to hire my ass. i applied to 7, got an in-person interview at 2, and never heard back from either. these were bottom-of-the-barrel tier positions too, maybe $10.50/hr at most. but it was okay to me, since i'm still living at home. should i seriously consider looking into autismbux at this point? i do actually have autism, but only level 1 (the mildest tier).

>>84745113The job market is complete shit right now. I remember when I was 15, I got my first job at a local fast food joint by simply walking in and asking for an application. They didn't even interview me. I was hired within just a couple of weeks. It's not the same anymore. A lot of job listings online are fake now to create an illusion of company growth for their shareholders. Meanwhile, all the actual listings seem to require a degree and prior experience, despite paying like shit. Your best bet is to ask any friends or family if they can hook you up with something.

>>84745113It's all about acting neurotypical. I'm not a normie but have adhd without autism and and am able to play their game and pass it. This is going to sound really weird but an interview isn't about presenting information to prove you are a qualified worker unless its a 6 figure salary. It's about providing the manager with a memorable experience. You are advertising yourself with who they are working around. If you can't act nuerotypical enough get a job with a conglomerate. Shit is fucked up but it is what it is
