It's not so much that they like sports in the first place but the manner in which they like it and the degree to which it takes over their lives and dictates their behavior to have such reactions over men ultimately just playing with a ball on a field. There is nothing more human than doing something difficult "just cause", and motorsport is the best example of that. Senna's pole lap at Monaco in 1988 is the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed, precisely because it is the result of so many different people coming together (the engineers, the mechanics, Senna himself) and pushing themselves to the limit for no other reason than the desire to achieve a lap time that is that much faster. Sports is incredibly pointless, but that is precisely what makes it so human

Even at my highest peak of loving basket ball, I never really watched it a lot. The good players always got injured and after Jordan retired it was trash to watch and every single player started forming "super teams", aka, cheating inside the league.Football had the gay kneeling shit and the buck breaking.American soccer and baseball are boring.Hockey is cool.Creative types don't have time to keep up with sports, especially now with them wanting to charge 500$ to watch a single game or whatever crazy ass racket scheme they have going on now where they purposely remove accessibility to all the games and make you pay for everything individually, they've literally Jewed out and lost their minds.
