a few months ago i asked my boyfriend to share his location with me via an app. it's not really like he leaves his house much either but whenever he does, i just sit at home and check on him until he gets home because i usually don't have much else to do. i also text him all day every day and try to pester him to call me as well.
it's not really like he dislikes it, and he even calls it a "moe point," but my friends say i'm unhealthy. i can function just fine independently without him, i just like leaning on him.
anyways, anons, what do u think? am i too dependent?

he'll get bored of you and annoyed eventually

Yeah maybe try taking a break away from texting him constantly just to see if you can do it. If you can't, it's a problem.

he gets sad when i don't do it and spams me when i don't without notice, i doubt he'll get bored/annoyed. especially since this has been going on for years lol

i have a few times! there's been weeks on end where him and i barely talked and were pretty distant from each other per my decision. i have told him a few days to give me space and vice versa. i just prefer it more often not for it to be the way it is
