Starting from what was probably some mild form of autism, my desire to systematize everything and put technicity, intellectual inquiries and solitary work, was put way above being nice to others, coordinating tasks, caring, understanding cues etc... I now learned from the first principles that sociality is the optimal driver of progress and also that MORE individuality is promoted by positive prosocial behaviors. Think of the prisonner's dilemma. An individual has rationally no option but to pick the antisocial action. But take two groups one logical and another irrational but prosocial, the second "irrational" group after multiple trials will always come out on top and dominate the other. A busy road decongestionnates once some people take the longer road, and absolutely everyone benefits from it.A mistake of autism or adjacent behaviours is to dive ever deeper in isolation thinking you are better than the others because you are smarter. Once you understand the pleasures of social coordinations, you may take interest in some of the most intellectually demanding and dynamic tasks.
