I just witnessed a coworker getting fired yesterday
He was a diversity hire and i'm racist, but it was still sad to see, i've experienced income insecurity and it's so stressful, nobody deserves that
I'm slightly disturbed now

>He was a diversity
Probably not qualified, even for a low tier wagie job
>>

Why'd he get fired?
>>
>>84749956
He demanded non-illegal wage rates.

>diversity hire
That's not real.
>>
>>84749769
If you would hire him back, your empathy pushes the exact same expense somewhere else

>a diversity hire
Good. Fuck them.

lt absolutely is.

It literally is. I have a bachelors in hr and we were taught that diversity is something that should factor into the hiring process. There is a lot of "research" to back it relying on cherrypicked studies that more diverse teams lead to higher innovation and less stagnation. But irl it obviously leads to a lot of conflict. The general consensus though is that assuming two candidates are equal to go with the poc
