You are getting constant dopamine hits, so anything that doesn't give you that feels incredibly boring in comparison. At a point, this becomes your new baseline, and it becomes boring, and everything else will become extremely boring. To break away, you have to stop constantly engaging in these activities that light your brain up like a fucking christmas tree. If you don't wanna be bored all the time, you have to let your brain lower its baseline for boredom. Meaning you have to be bored for a while till it meets that level, meaning stop constantly doing stuff like videogames, internet or youtube.Or you know you could be depressed, idk.

You can have too little will power to do it, in which case there are ways to counter act this like all addictions.You can de-plug your pc and put it in a different room, you can get a dumb phone, you can delete apps and accounts you use a lot. Anything to make feeding your addiction more effort than its worth. You only have to break the cycle and then you'll be out, you'll have the energy to do stuff.But I mean, I have the same problem, I should do what I just said, but I doubt I ever will.
